Queues getting piled up in Outbound que SMQ1
Queues getting piled up in the outbound que and wait time now is 10 to 15 minutes before getting refreshed which was more then 45 minutes earlier,
FYI there are 5 application instances in the prod system and this ques getting piled up after hitting application 3 & 4 only otherwise geting cleared during load balance process

2.Use transaction codes SMQ1 and SMQ2 for deleting SYSFAIL files, and manually resending messages in the queues.(For activating queues in SMQ1 and SMQ2, you would need to first deregister them in SMQR or SXMB_ADM).
3.As a pre-requisite, the IS configuration parameter MONITOR QRFC_RESTART_ALLOWED should be set to 1.

Error 'sysfail' in outbound que of SRM :Initial download - DNL_CUST_BASIS3
Dear Consultants,
We are trying to replicate the product categories and material master from ECC system to SRM system for the first time.
Performed all the middleware settings as per note 720819. When running the initial load - DNL_CUST_BASIS3 the prog keeps on running. We are getting a entry in SRM outbound que - Sysfail - trigerred a dump in the source system. When we get into ST22 in ECC system we see there is a dump. While analysing the dump in st22 we get that table CRMATAB is empty, the same issue we get when we debug the que in outbound que in SRM.
We are planning to apply note 1501685 to address the issue. But there are some entries which are there in Inbound que of SRM system. All have the status of sysfail. Some refer to analyse the error in SMW01 and some say refer note 490748. In the Note 490748 all entries are maintained . Other entries says the category for material group xxx does not exist - import the Customizing object DNL_CUST_PROD1.
I am a bit confused now, will the application of the Note will solve the issue or is there something else that may need to be done.
Any specific inputs will be valuable for me.

1. Put something in your Queue:
Name: MyQueue
ID: 4711
Example:
- Make a ForNextLoop and use the Link Editor to fill the Queue with 10 entries.
- Use a Local XML Variable as Message and a Assignment to set the
Message text. So your Message will be:
"a Message with the ID " & For_Next_Loop_0.CurrentItem
- Put the Message and the ID in your Queue using the Link Editor
ID: 4700 + For_Next_Loop_0.CurrentItem
2. Replace something in your Queue:
Just refere to Queue-Name and Queue-ID to replace a Message with the
Queue-Put-Action.
3. Get one entry of your Queue:
Just refere to Queue-Name and Queue-ID to get the Message out of the Queue
with the Queue-Get-Action.
4. Get a List of entries from your Queue:
- Use the Queue-List-Action which will return a xMII-XML Structure with
DATE and ID.
- Use a Repeater to loop over the Output of Queue-List-Action.
- Use a Queue-Get-Action and assign the ID of the Repeater-Output to get the
Message for the ID.
5. Delete one Message in your Queue:
Use the Queue-Delete-Action to delete a Message with a specific ID from
your Queue.
6. Delete the whole Queue (or all Messages)
Use Queue-List-Action + Repeater to loop + Queue-Delete-Action

I have observed thet queues in XI get blocked even though there is no error.
When I unlock it , Queues get cleared.
Please let me know why queues get blocked .

Queues might get blocked to various reasons.
The reasons i can think of are:
1) Contention for resources : If there is a contention for resources like memory, the first message of the queue gets blocked, causing subsequent messages to be blocked as well.
2) Huge messages: HUge payloads choke the queues.
3) Receiving system processing the messages slower than the sending system.

Transport queue gets closed very often
We found out transport queue gets closed very often on QAS system. We open it.
However what is the reason. Could it be because of an job is sheduled to import every 15 minutes. or is it something wrongHello Jan,
Yes, its expected behavior because when import runs, TMS lock the import queue for avoiding incosistency.
As long as the import is running or is scheduled, you see this status is displayed in the Import Overview with either This graphic is explained in the accompanying text or This graphic is explained in the accompanying text. After the import, the import queue is opened again automatically by the transport control program.

Reasoning for Queues getting Locked

When we are doing load testing ,queues are getting locked. Is there any reason why queues get locked? and secondly how can we tune the queues so that they dont get locked in high load conditions?

Set the value 0 - 2,097,151 (KB)....The parameter EO_MSG_SIZE_LIMIT enables serial processing of messages of a particular
size. This applies for messages with the quality of service Exactly Once (EO). If the message is larger than the parameter
value, the message is processed in a separate queue.This parameter is designed to improve performance since there is often
not enough memory to process multiple large messages simultaneously.

SMQ1 - Outbound Ques in Status " READY"
Dear Experts
We have 30,000 + queues in R/3 system which need to be transferred to APO system.
Almost all queus are in status " READY"
if we manually activating - it gets cleared
But it is impossible to activate manually 30,000+ Queus.
How can i automatically activate all these queues.

Check in SMQS if there are entries with "U" as unregistered. All the entries should be "R" type.
otherwise , they will only if manual intervention is present.

Billing Document queues are stuck in CRM Outbound
Hi All,
In our system there are huge number of CSA_BEACRMB_BD* Queues generating in CRM Outbound (SMQ1) and getting into "Ready" state with RFC destination as "NONE". These queues are of no use. Please guide me how to stop generating this Queues. FM used for this queues is /1BEA/CRMB_BD_MWC_O_VALIDATE.

Press Generate.
Also check for the following:
1. The delta should have been initialized successfully.
2. Confirm that all Bdocs of type BUS_TRANS_MSG
are processed with success in SMW01.
3. If there are queues in SMQ1 with erroneous status then activate these queues.
In Transaction SMQ1 if there are Queues existing with
names beginning with CRM_BWAn (n is number) then
activate these queues in the same transaction.

Solutions
Question 1 : The Extraction from CRM to BW takes a very long time. What can be done? (Performance Issues)
Suggestion 1: Please implement notes 653645 (Collective note) and
639072(Parallel Processing).
The performance could be slow because of the wrong control parameters
used for packaging.
You can change the package size for the data extraction.
Also note that changing the package size in the transaction SBIW
would imply a change for all the extractors. Instead, you could
follow the path in the bw system.
Infopackage (scheduler) > Menu 'Scheduler' > 'DataS. default data
transfer' > maintain the value as 1500 or 1000(This value is variable)
The package size depends on the Resources available at the customer side
(The no of parallel processes that could be assigned =
1.5 times the no of CPU's available approx.)
Question 2 : On executing transaction RSA3 I get records but I find 0
records when I load data from BW request.(No Data Available)
Suggestion 2: First check if there are any entries in the table
CRMD_ORDER_INDEX.Only if there are entries in this table you can
extract records.
If this is not the case then,
It is possible that the user does not have sufficient
authorities for extraction of the relevant objects.

infosource > right mouse click on the selected
infosource > choose option replicate datasource
Activate the infosource.
6. Go to the scheduler for the infosource > select delta in the
update >choose the option PSA only (in the Processing tab)
> start immediately
Check the entry in the RSA7 in the OLTP(CRM system)
Question 4: How can I extract the fields, which are not provided in the standard data source extraction .
Suggestion 4: Follow the steps mentioned below.
1. Enhance Extract Structure with the required fields. (Create & include
an append structure to the extract structure via transaction RSA6).
2.a) Release the fields of the append for usage. ( To do this, double
click on the Datasource and remove the flags in the column 'Hide
Field' for all fields of Append. )
2.b)If the new fields cannot be seen in the extract structure of
the transaction BWA1 then change and save the datasource, and then
activate it in RSA6.
3. Define your mappings in BADI (CRM_BWA_MFLOW) to fill these fields.
Goto SPRO .
Follow the path ->
SAP Implementation guide ->Implementation with other mySAP components ->
Data transfer to the Business Information Warehouse->
Settings for the application specific datasources (CRM)->
Settings for BW adapter->

4. Replicate the new Datasource to BW.
5. Expand the Communication Structure in BW.
6. Maintain transfer Rules for the new Datasource.
7. Activate the trasfer rules and perform the upload.

Question 9: I donot get any records for the delta upload of my attribute
datasource(s).What is to be done?
Suggestion 9: In case of attribute datasources, it is possible that the
entry for the GUID is missing in the table SMOXAFLD.
If , for example the datasource 0CRM_OPPT_ATTR is not giving deltas
then you can follow the steps:
1)If Delta process is active for the attribute datasource e.g.
0CRM_OPPT_ATTR, then stop the delta process in the BW
system
2) In the CRM system, Make the entry in the table SMOXAFLD
for the datasource with the Key
as 0CRM_OPPT_ATTR GUID 3) Save the entry.Activate the datasource 4) Check that the above entry is replicated in smoxafld_s also after this. 5) Create a transport request manually for the following object R3TR SMO4 0CRM_OPPT_ATTR
Question 10: What do the status BWSTONESYS0 , BWSTONEUSS0,BWSTTECSYS0 and various other BW status mean ?
Suggestion 10: The BW status are used to extract system and user defined
status.
The BW status are defined in the customization settings in SPRO.
Check for-> Status Concept for BP/Product/CRM objects
Here goto-> Process user status You will find the documentation attached here for the user status. Going inside the transaction you will find the status groups USS0, ZIOP,ZMOP etc. The names of the various BW status are derived from this For ex. BW + ST+ One + USS0 gives the name of the field BWSTONEUSS0 or BWST + ONE + ZMOP = BWSTONEZMOP (Master opportunity values) (which means BWST + (status group name) + status object group name) Double clicking on any of the object groups will take you to the values that these status can have . For ex. BWSTONEUSS0 in your system can have values E001 ,E002,E003,E007 which will be shown in RSA3 as BW status values 1,2,3,7, respectively.
Similarly we have Goto -> Process system status (in SPRO). Here you can get the values for the system status in exactly the same way as BWSTONESYS0(Lifecycle status) , BWSTTECSYS2 (Error) etc. In RSA3 you get the names as BW status, To know which corresponds to which status here,Goto the record list in RSA3 . Here goto Settings - Layout -Current . Right click -> Press Show technical field names . You will be able to see the BW status names and will be able to adjust the layout accordingly. -
Queue for datasource 0CRM_SRV_IBASE_ATTR not displaying in SMQ1

SMQ1 will only show an entry, when there are available data for the delta queue, i.e. someone has made a change or added new data.So checking RSA7 and SMQ1 will give the same result, if RSA7 shows more than 0 entries.
The problem may be the init. What init did you do: an init with data, or an init without data, or an init with a filter. Experience with our CRM system tells me, best way to initialize any CRM data is to do a full data init (without filter) or a init without data (without filter). I wonder about the FULL load you mentioned ? When did you do it ?

Hi,
My environment is VMware vSphere 4 with a few ESX 4 servers. On that, I have a vCenter, a View 4 server and SRSS. Then I have a number of Windows XP desktops.
When the user logs into his/her desktop via the Sun Ray, everything works including the local USB printer (an HP laserjet). But...you can only print once...then the print queue stays at "Printing" and won't go away. Any further print jobs just get queued up. It also won't let you delete the print job from the queue. The first print job actually does come out on the printer, but doesn't disappear from the XP's print queue.
Any ideas?
JimI can duplicate the "white screen of death" with Early Access to vmware view, with Rays running from Solaris/x86. This is in fact not vmware-specific, as I can hang uttsc to an ordinary XP system. To duplicate fairly reliably, I run a Flash example and then "start -> logoff". uttsc doesn't terminate, and truss shows repeated
/1: pollsys(0x08046690, 2, 0x08046728, 0x00000000) = 0
/1: ioctl(10, AUDIO_GETINFO, 0x08046620) =0
This doesn't happen if the IE window is terminated before logout. The behavior appears to be independent of "-F off" in uttsc (but I'm using the Ray audio driver).
Is there a workaround (other than downgrading) in the vmware view scenario?

Picked quantity not getting updated in ERP outbound delivery
Hi All,
I have an outbound delivery which is replicated from ERP to EWM. I have confirmed the Warehouse task for picking & completed PGI in EWM system. The status update has taken place in ERP delivery (i.e ERP delivery status shows that goods movement is complete and the distribution status shows processing of the delivery in the decentralized system is complete). However the picked quantity (LIPS-PIKMG) is not getting updated in the ERP delivery. How do i make this happen?

Picked Qty in ECC will never get updated when do the PGI in EWM. I think, this field is not designed when delivery is distributed as system assume picking will be done in other system in this case it is EWM.
But You can always refer VBFA (Document flow table) to identify the picked quantity if you are working z report or interface to send this information.

I have a web services that use bpm scenario. Every time when a error example date type format happen on the bpm the queue with get block on smq2 and others request by the web services will get hold. Any way that can i disable this? Every time i have to delete the error queue in order to let the webservices work again.
