Quick Backup Question - Can't Find the Answer

I need to restore my phone with an old backup to get some (read 300+) photos of my newborn that were lost.
I tried restoring the phone, but the only backup in the drop down was from a sync that caused the problem in the first place.
I was able to find a backup folder under library in the finder that I think could fix the problem, but I can't seem to figure out how to actually use that backup file.
What is my next step to backup my phone with that old file, hopefully restoring the lost photos, and returning my wife from the abyss she currently resides in?

As I posted in your other thread, only one backup is kept (usually, unless you manually archive them).
A 'backup' consists of a folder with a UID (a long, seemingly meaningless name), stored in ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup. How many folders do you have in there? If there is more than one (and you only have one iPhone/iPod Touch), then you have 'extra' backups. Check the date modified for the folder to determine the date of the backup.
Within the backup folder are some .plist files and many .mdbackup files. It is possible to extract files from the backup, for skilled users. However, if the modified date/time of the folder is the date/time of the last sync, the pics are gone because they were overwritten.
FYI, the process to recover data from the backup involves running a python script from the terminal, then parsing the resulting SQLite database. If those concepts have meaning for you, then you might be able to at least have a look at the backup. But, I really think those pics were overwritten by the more recent backup.

Go to: expresslane.apple.com
Under product categories choose iTunes
Then iTunes store
Then account management
Press continue.
Now choose iTunes store security and answer the bullet questions and click continue.
Sign in with your appleid and press continue
Under contact options fill out the information and advise iTunes that you would like your security/challenge questions reset. Click send.
iTunes will respond to you within 24 hours by email.

All the storage in "Backups" is taken up by local snapshots, which are made automatically in all MacBooks, MacBooks Pro and MacBooks Air with OS X Lion or newer and Time Machine turned on.

You could add more content.
Or if the project contains stills, these can be lengthened. Double-click on a still photo to open the Clip Inspector. Adjust the duration by typing in the Duration box. Be aware though that if you have transitions either side of the still, you may get odd results with the duration. See this thread for more details:

Your biggest problem will be finding a retail copy of the Leopard install DVD. Finding a Family Pack will be even harder.

Caution - Leopard does not support classic mode. So, if you currently open OS 9 apps in classic mode, you won't be able to do this if you upgrade to Leopard.

A few questions that I can't find the answers to

I have done a search online but can't find answers, so wondering if someone could help.
1. The phone doesn't seem to be automatically backing anything up to SkyDrive even though it's set to do that. I assume it can't back up from the SD card but what about text messages that should be stored in phone memory?
2. Is it possible to automtaically back up photos and videos from the SD card to SkyDrive?
3. How do I check if my internet is connecting to wifi or GPS? (as I dont want to unnecessarily be paying for GPS). Sometimes I can't see the icons at the top of the screen.

Here's your questions;

The answers are;
1. You do not have direct access to anything backed up except for media files. A backup will restore when you register a (new) phone with the same Microsoft account. This means you will not find your backed up text messages on the Skydrive linked to your Microsoft account.
2. The pictures backup process will backup any photo or video you take on the phone once it is saved. For videos and best quality photos a Wi-Fi connection is required. It isnot relevant whether you have setup the phone to save images to SD card or internal strage.
If you do not see photos taken appear on SkyDrive even if you have set up the option correctly (see below) There's probably some external reason it's not working. I doubt it has anything to do with the phone.

Afew general questions to which I can't find the answers

Yesterday, I upgraded from a Torch 9810 to a Passport! What a phone! I still have a lot to read, do and set, but there are a few 'small' things I'd like to ask if I may
1. As I have a visual impairment, on my Torch I used an app called 'Font Control - Fancy Font Master'. This meant I could choose the font style and size to use for my apps, which was a fantastic help. However, this does not seem to be supported in Blackberry 10 and, despite my searching, I can't find another app that's similar (either in Blackberry World or the Amazon App Store). Any advice on this would be very welcome.
2. I did try the magnifier function, but it only seems to let you scroll up and down and not side to side, so you can't read a whole line - maybe I have done something wrong with this, but I can't see what.
I am loving my new phone though - well done Blackberry!
Any advice would be great.

Obvious Question but can't find the Answer

There have been an number of references in these forums and elsewhere to using workflows to achieve various desired results from ActiveSync. However active sync. configurations only provide hooks for a pre and post workflows. So for a per account workflow hook I need to call this workflow from the Active Sync Form.
How does one call/invoke a workflow from a standard form.

Can't find the answer on a Treo 750

If this question has been answered in the past I am sorry, I cannot find a clear answer despite days of searching on this and other sites. (Great site BTW)
Just purchased a Palm Treo 750 (Rogers). I am very pleased with it.
I wish to add a memory card and have been reading conflicting reports or no answer whatsoever to direct questions regarding card sizes.
