Quick, easy question (batch process "pick" selection)

I have 500 images. I lift and stamp a new white balance on all 500. I now have 1000 images, 500 are new versions. The new is attached to the old in 500 version stacks. I want the new white balanced shot to be "the pick" in every stack. How to do this to all 500 stacks at same time?
Thanks so much!

you dont actually "edit" the master, just create a set of instructions on how to "display" it ... and you can toggle any adjustment on/off by clicking its checkbox ... and can reset any adjustment at any time by clicking the little circular arrow (reset) ...
each version you create, just creates a new set of instructions for conversion/display ... even with create new version when editing ...
your master always stays the same ...
what that option was doing was creating the new version to sit next to the original in case you wanted to see them side by side ... but you can always see your master by pressing "M" ...

  • IN A BATCH PROCESS TO SELECT A DIFFERENT LINE OF PIXELS?

    Hi there,
I am trying to make my own slit scan image by selecting a single line of pixels from many frames.
From the first frame I would like to select the first line of pixels. From the second frame I would like to select the second line of pixels and so on. Then for this process to repeat itself.
It has been suggested that I can do this using the batch process in Photoshop however I cannot figure out how to do it!
If there is a simplier way then please get in touch.
    Thanks
    Elena

You should ask in the Photoshop forum.

  • Quick Easy Question About N580GTX-M2D15D5 Bios

    Hey guys!!
I just have a real quick and easy (i suppose) question!
I had bios version KH0, and MSI live update found KH1, i downloaded and flashed successfully (DOS window said please restart and press any key to exit) so i did, restarted my computer, and MSI live update utlity and gpu-z and MSI afterburner are all reporting the same bios version i had with the KH0, version 70.10.17.00.01 & date November 09, 2010
MSI live update is not picking up the update again, so my question is, how do i know if it flashed correctly since the bios date and version remained the same?
    Thanks !

  • Okay quick easy question for all who have successfully uploaded videos

hi, this is my first post in the Apple forums!
    my quick question:
I have Quicktime Pro, and am currently exporting a video to the iPod
but it is taking an unusually long time...
is this normal (and by long I mean I'm @ 16% and it has been 5 minutes)
do I just need to be more patient?
    thanks
    ^_^

    don't say that...
I successfully uploaded videos to my iPod I just was not doing it right
my question has been answered already so STOP BRINGING IT UP AGAIN
also, look... many people just got their iPods today and are kinda anxious to see the video capibilities work on them, so If you do not have anything constructive to say (by calling us n00bs), then I suggest you don't say anything at all

  • Quick Easy Question- I think...

If you have 15 expressions, concatenated by Boolean OR's, how many of the expressions must be true for the entire thing to be true? My friend and I are arguing whether the answer is...
    a. at least 1
    b. all of them
    c. cannot be determined
Thank you so much for your input. We are studying for an exam, trying to finish the practice questions. I appreciate any input and your time!! :-)

    Hi,
Programming languages are created by humans, and therefore it is usually pretty easy to answer such questions. Think about the human language..
Do you have a car or a house or a space ship?
Any one who owns a car or a house would answer yes, even if they didn't own a space ship. That is, the whole expression evaluates to true if one of the statements is true.

  • Music synced to my phone (Quick Easy Question)?

When I sync my iphone to my music. Does it pull from my Library or playlist. I don't want every song I have or it will surpass my memory. Or do I have to use the manually manage music/video check? I went through every song checking the little check mark to keep it from syncing to my phone (I did it in my playlist. Someone please explain.
Thanks for your help ahead of time!

When you go to your music tab in iTunes for the iPhone, you select the option to sync playlists, then you click the box next to the playlists you want to sync. In your music library, you have to create playlists and add songs to them.

  • Quick "easy" Question on keyboard shortcuts

I've heard a rumor about a shortcut that allows you to select all edits to the left or the right of the playhead. Is there such a shortcut?
If so I desperately need it....
    Thanks,
    ~ D

there are four tools to choose from, single arrow (left and right) and double arrow (left and right), the single arrow will only select everything on a single track in your timeline, where the double arrow will select everything in all tracks. these tools are located in the toolbar where you find the rolling edit, razor, pointer, etc...

  • Quick, Easy question(s)

I'm working mainly in GarageBand and then opening my project in Logic Express 8 to do some tweaking and then trying to export it to Pro Tools.
When I try to Export as an OMF File I get that I don't have any audio regions in the project or no audio driver active.
I don't know my way around Logic Express yet, obviously.

  • Very quick easy question

does this board K8N Neo ME- 7030 mobo support dual channel memory?
    thanks

Memory support depends on the CPU (because the A64 has an integrated memory controller) - nothing to do with the board.
If that's a socket 754 board then the answer is no. If it's socket 939 then the answer is yes.
[edit] I got confused by "K8N Neo ME" but now I realise you meant K8N Neo and MS-7030, which is the socket 754 series, so single channel support only.

  • Real quick, easy question

How do u read in a character?
This is what I have, obviously not right...
    studentType = Char.valueOf(sTokenizer.nextToken());
    can anyone tell me?

But I'm reading in from a text file, here's an example of the first line (out of 30 lines):
    G 14568 Tim Cimino 45 72 100
so the 'G' is the character that I want to read in, but I'm not saving that to an array, I'm not allowed to for this project.
    Any other suggestions?

  • Another quick easy question not related to video or troubleshooting

when I'm playing music, I put the iPod on hold and just listened to my stuff...
now I know that pervious iPods would turn off the screen after a while to preserve the battery. But the screen has not turned off for me...
Does the Video iPod turn off its screen during playback?
    just wanted to know ^_^

no, not the backlight, I know that already ^_^
it is the screen... can the screen turn off completely during playback?
edit: ahh, people have been looking at this topic, but none reply
    come on, a little feedback?

  • Quick easy question (K9A2 Platinum)

Is it compatible with a gtx 285 or will i have to drop down to a 280 or buy a better mainboard?

Yup, I ran across a post yesterday where the fellow has a 630W PSU +12V~26A. That 26A is extremely poor for a 630W PSU considering a Corsair CX400W has +12V~30A. 230W higher and 4A less  than my example. That is plain to see that watt rating doesn't mean much without also showing the amps for at least the +12V rail(s).
For the 285 your PSU should be minimum +12V~46A, that would be something like a PC P & C Silencer 610W +12V~49A or Corsair TX650W +12V~52A. Those 2 are the best in that power range.
The 280 is only a few amps less so PSU would really be the same requirement as the 285.

  • Quick easy question, upgrading UCCX 7.1SR5 to 8.0.2

I ordered CCX-UPG-P-70-80= (CCX PRE 7.0 to 8.0 PRE UCSS Major Upgrade) to upgrade our servers, however, we have 2 servers in a high availability enviroment. I am thinking i should have ordered CCX-UPG-PHA-70-80= (CCX PRE HA 7.0 HA to 8.0 HA PRE UCSS Major Upgrade). Looks like i made a mistake???
Also, do i put 2 in the number to order?

Correct, you need the PHA one, and you only need one.  Unless you want the second set of media for convenience.
