Quick link in Home Screen

I know that it should be easy, but I don't know to delete a quick link that was saved by error in my iPad Home Screen.

How do you get rid of the ones that were on the iPad by default and don't have an X when you hold it down?

Quick Question about home screen icons?

I just upgraded from the 3g to the iphone 4 and was wondering if there are supposed to be home screen icons for Voice Control and FaceTime?

There are no icons. In Settings > Phone you can activate or deactivate FaceTime: Turn FaceTime on or off.
To activate Voice Control, press and hold the home button.
The iPhone iOS4 User Guide can help a lot.

Quick search on home screen bug

What is happening here? Is it a bug on the iOS? Cause when I tru to quick search on the mainesten the apps get black and blurry and the Anne og the apps iOS not clear. Is it annonse Else that have the same problem?

As you can see from the picture in the following article, it is normal for the screen background to become blurry when using Spotlight for a search -

Quickly send an Email from Home Screen (e.g. to self)

Coming from the Smartphone/PDA phone world, I often used to jot down ideas on the phone quickly and the quickest way to do this is often send myself an email message.
On Windows Mobile it's possible to assign a shortcut to a contact's Email (or SMS) and by pressing a key you can type away your ideas, thoughts, reminders etc. into Inbox or Twitter etc.
On the iPhone, I tried several ways to do this. Including writing in Notes and email; or starting Mail and compose a new message. But is there a way to add a mailto: link to the home screen? Or is there any way to start writing something quickly without the usual click, wait, click, click, wait, type?

IOS home screen link to a specific photo album?

Is it possible (third party app?) to create a home screen link/icon to a specific photo album.
A friend who is an artist (although not technically proficient) has a number of albums in her library. If she wanted to have one album (of specific works) that she wanted for quick access (instead of clicking photos and then searching through all the other albums), could there be a link on the home screen to quickly access the specific album.

I am not aware of any third party apps that woulld add a home screen icon for a photo album. What I do know is that it is a feature of WP7 (Windows Phone 7) and I wish they would add it. What I DO know is that Safari allows you to add a "bookmark" on your home screen, so if you can find a service that would take you to that album in Safari, you got a solution.

E72 - How to Remove Home Screen Links

I have a Nokia E72 and I have a customization problem. I have a gmail account installed in the phone and there is a homescreen link for it, just under the applications bar at the top. The thing I want to delete this link from my home screen but there is no settings for it. This link is not seen in home screen customization links in mod settings nor in the mail settings. Can you help me how to delete this from home screen?

WLAN scanning off

I want to now change @Set up e-mail option with something else of my choice . Is that possible?

From what i understand i see that - Cookies are not transferred between your website and your webapp when installing the icon on the home screen (for authentication purposes for example). It was working until 6.1 and now it’s not working anymore.
Can someone please tell me if this bug will be fixed in any future release, if so the ticket number of some kind that i can track, or if there is a workaround for this issue?

I get blank screen in iTunes when I click on 'Purchased' quick link

I am no longer able to access my purchased content via iTunes through the 'Purchased' quick link that usually provides access to all purchased content (e.g. films, tv shows, muic, etc), although instead I am presented with a blank screen. I have tried re-installing iTunes, although this didn't help, however someone else logged on through my mac using iTunes and was able to see there content. I can see my content in the cloud via my other apple mobile devices, but not itunes.....
Any ideas?? Thank you

Tried that and it still isn't working. Not sure if it's software thing but I just noticed when I swipe up my control center the flashlight option is not available as well. I'm not sure why this is. I have a 5s with the newest software. That's for the suggestion

You can change the order of the boxes on the about:newtab page and drag an item to a different slot to pin it to that position or you can remove a website by clicking the close X to block that URL.<br />
You can drag a bookmark or history item and drop them in a slot on the about:newtab page to pin them and have your own favorites sites showing.
Changes made manually on the about:newtab page are stored in the browser.newtabpage.pinned (default = [null]) and browser.newtabpage.blocked prefs that you can check/modify on the about:config page (Bug 791447).

Oh and Meg offered the right answer. Put your Apps in Folders, which will create extra space for the apps which have disappeared.

Camera link on locked home screen - when clicked, doesn't direct me to camera, Button just 'bounces' and stays on locked screen

Tap on the camera icon and then drag it from the bottom to the top of the screen.
