Quick music player controls

How do I access the music player controls from the lock screen? I've done it on accident a few times, but I can't seem to figure it out.

Hey. Just got a solution that worked for me.
Try watch a random video then press back. The Music Controls is not there anymore until you open a song.

is your headset compatible here id the online guide which may provide more info for you other than use the screen after all its a touch screen device

Why won't the music player quick link work on ios7

I have installed ios7 and now the quick link music player will not work! Any ideas as I cannot play music in the car without going into the full music player! Also my in car controls have stopped working the player? Very annoying worked fine on ios6

Unfortunately, I think that is probably your only option. the "!" is stating that the link between the music and the visual title on your iPod is broken and the iPod doesn't know where it is. Did you have auto-updating on for your music when you plugged it into your friends computer? And how did you remove it from the computer? If the iPod was still updating when you removed it, that could have caused it.

The music player on control center on ipad2

Since I updated my ipad2 , i have gotten hang of most of the new functions , but then I am having some issue with the music player on the control centre , there Is the play button and next there. But then i can't play music when I press play, then even after I open the music app and play from there,it's playing , but I cannot next on the control centre also , in IOS 6 , I could just start from the control centre by pressing play without opening the music app , is it the IOS 7 issue or it's my iPad not working ? The rest is all fine but . Can someone help please .

yeah even i am facing the same issue. The sound works for some time and the moment i get happy that the issue is solved, the bingo no sound.
Its really frustrating i have to say and also i have noticed the over all volume of the ring tones has come down.

E71 Music player (next track) control using the No...

I am using tehe Nokia E71 AND EVERYTHING IS SO FAR SO GREAT. The only problem I am experiencing now is that I cannot move to the next track using the button (that is part of the headset). In order to move to the next track, can anybody tell me how to move to the next track without having to remove my phone from the pocket?.
I have used phones e51, 6120 classic and 5300 with the same problem.

as you have discussed suggested to install PowerMP3 so i have installed that with version 1.00 which was free available... BUT ITS NOT WORKING... is there any other upgraded version of PowerMP3 available ?

N95-1 Music player Volume control problems

I muted the music player recently by turning the volume all the way down via the side volume controls and now I'm unable to turn the volume back on or up. The up controls on the side of the phone seem to work, ie feel the click of the switch operate, but nothing happens? I'm able to listen through the headset HS-45 that comes with the phone but have no control over the phone/music/video via the AD-43 in either the Music or Video modes?. Haven't yet tried the phone functions via headset! can somebody throw some light onto these issue's - phone has been its firmware recently updated to the latest version via the Nokia web site without any problems in a hope of rectifying these issue's but no luck.

I have a similar problem. Recently upgraded to V21.
Stick with me here...
Firstly I noticed the volume keys on the side of the phone didn't work; couldn't turn music up/down nor did they work when I was on a call. The only way to adjust in call volume was to use the centre navi key.
Secondly; whenever this happens I also notice when the keys are locked that the message "Press Unlock to activate keypad" keeps appears on the screen without me pressing anything.
Finally this causes a battery drain. Massively increasing the power usage from 0.2w to well over 1w
This happens intermittently i.e. cant adjust volume for about a day then everything is fine again.
Yesterday I also noticed that when the above happens the music controls (multimedia keys) when the slider is down dont work, they dont pause, play, stop, fwd/rwd or launch the music player.
Any ideas?

Music player in control center doesn't work in iOS 7

I can't even use music player with pause, forward or anything in control center. If I wan't to skip to next song I have to slide the track till the end to go to next song.
And I can't even use my bluetooth control too.

Switch off and then switch on again solved the issue for me...

Music Player with speed control

Hello,
I am trying to create a music player for a college project which allows the user to choose from a number of sounds and apply effects to them. I believe the easiest was to do this is have several copies of each file and somehow switch between them, staying at the same point- i.e. the sound gets to 1:23, I press a button and then a deeper version of the same sound would start at 1:23.
Is this the easiest way to do this, or is there an easier way?
And how would I go about creating this?

Quick Mystery-Concerning Music Player

So what I've notice is inside the BBPlaybook folder, some new music folder + mp3 files which I put in the BBplaybook, may not identify a few mp3 clips. So for example, an album which should have 10 songs, may have the 8th-10th song identified, and the first two songs, their names/titles are easily found amoung "All Songs" but their artists and albums are unknown.
I have used, WMP to identify the mp3 files too, which I'm very sure is identified as there is an album art on top of the icon instead of just an mp3 icon. So its very puzzling for me, that the music player is not able to identify the songs, when they already have album name, artist name, year, and etc. identified.
Any clue to why this is happening? I liked the quality of the player but I'm getting disspointed with this identification stupidity.

I keep each albulm in a folder so the pic is seen on the song.
if you copy 50 random songs with no folders, it will assume the std pic unless it is embedded in the MP3 file.

Best Lightweight Music Player/Manager

I was looking for a music player with the following features.
1. Lightweight.
2. Quick keyboard controls.
3. Music management (organize music based on id3 tags and folders)
4. Edit id3 tags in baches and one-by-one.
5. Rating of songs.
Other features that will be appreciated but not necessary are:
1. Ability to change music format.
2. Rip music from cd.
I tried the following:
1. xmms + madman. I dont like the way madman opens xmms separately and poor integration of these 2.
2. mpd + client. I tried few clients like sonata, gmpc and gmpc works best for me, but again i cannot edit id3 tags.
3. xmms2 +client. I havent found a good client for it.
Whats the best in ur opinion.
Also please suggest a client for mpd and xmms2 that have the above features.

Yeah.... i think they're very non-scientific and unrepresentative.
Just checked up here, mpd is using 0.8% of 1gb ram, that is, *8mb*
So... yeah, either all those applications are terrible, or those results are very fubar.

I agree... I've had MPD running and playing for the past 18 hours and it's using 6mb. MPD is very very lightweight by it's self.
Sonata is using 34mb, but I know there's alot lighter-weight clients out there.
edit: and the funny thing is, sonata (and mpd combined) beats all those music players, and it's got tons of features

Is it possible to fast forward or rewind within a single track?
I know I can skip back to the start but if I have a 20 minute audio book and I miss something 15 minutes in, can I rewind back 60 seconds (or so)?
If so, how? It's not obvious to me.

In the music player you have the controls to skip to next track if you quickly press the keys (up or down) If you hold the key then it skips through.
However this works for MP£ I don't recall it working for AAC format. I could be wrong, but I know not all formats suppport it.

I need a a music player for my flash site

I have a flash website, multi grooves as well as an rss 2.0
feed with mp3 files.
I want to embed a music player that can display all the music
entries in my rss feed and play them quickly (as opposed to that
quick time window that opens and waits for the whole mp3 file to
download before anything is heard).
I found a flash player that I wanted to use but strangely it
can not be embedded into a flash site!? (code below)
Does something like this exist for flash? If not, what
suggestions could you make?
One feature that I really want is to be able to "detach" the
player from the page in which it appears so the user can go to
other pages in the site (or even to another site) without loosing
the sound and stay in full control of the music playing

I've wrote a tutorial a while ago, not exactly with an RSS
feed, but that could be easily converted to an RSS feed reader with
the mp3 capability. Regarding the detachable window, I don't see
any obstructions.
