"Quick" tab items disappeared on right side - blank?

The "Quick" tab items (drop down menu) on right side of screen disappeared. Just blank now. Cannot retrieve.
It all began when I hit "Texture" at bottom right of screen. Hit button a second time and texture panel went away but the quick items did not return in the same place.

Have you tried Help -> Reset Panels?

For now, you can try using Ctrl + t to open new tabs if you can't open them otherwise, but try right clicking the tabs bar, clicking "customize," and then in the window that comes up try clicking the "restore default set" button. I don't know if it will work in your case but it wouldn't hurt to try.

The bookmark tab went from the right side to the left side. I did not change that. what cause the change from the right side to the left side?

There were some recent ui changes around the downloads manager. What version where you on before? Anyway, you can customize things in Firefox really easily. Take a look at [[Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars|this article on customizing Firefox]] for details. Should be a piece of cake to move the bookmarks button.
As for the color of the button, you might be in [[Private Browsing - Browse the web without saving information about the sites you visit|Private Browsing]] mode. That changes the color of the button from orange to a purplish color.

Firefox 4 with close tab x on far right side? About:config browser.tabs.closeButtons 3 ?

in FF 3 I had the close tab button on the far right side with the
browser.tabs.closeButtons config to 3.
This doesn't work in FF4 anymore, what are my options?
So far I stay on 3.6 as this is a feature I really like to have.

I'm the opposite, I like having the close button right on each tab - it's more clear to me which one I'm closing then.
To do that, about:config. Set browser.tabs.closeButtons to value 1.

Formatting Spry Tabbed Panel so tabs appear on the right side

Hi, I know this is a rookie question, but that is because I'm a rookie. How can I format a Spry Tabbed Panel so the tabs appear on the top-right side rather than the default top-left. I found the solution on the Adobe Labs site, but couldn't get it to work. If anyone can please help me with the code or point me in the right direction if I can change it with css. Thanks.

Tab plus + on the right side is gone!!

a childish programmer came to the idea to remove new tab plus + to the left site!!! But I want it again on the right site after opend new tab!
if I open a new tab ____+ plus should stay directly after new opened tab

I have now solved that problem!
Put flexible 2 tabs on the right side of an opend new tab then move + tabe between the two flexible tabs after that remove left flexible tab so + icon is always near the new opened tab
Mozilla should throw out that idiotic programmer who changed the place of new + tab from the right site !

Dock & arrow disappear on Right side of Desktop? Why?

Hi all, hoping someone can explain why I get this occuring inconsistantly?
Really strange and I cant pinpoint it to any activity. Some days all works well & like just now, I find that the dock & pointer compleatly disappear only on the right side of the desktop!
I can bring back the pointer but it takes a lot of movement to get it to re-appear. It happens with the usb mouse or trackpad.
The dock never appears. I have to set it to the bottom or the left.
Support doesnt have a clue. Sometimes it comes before more problems start like system performance hanging/freezing, iPhoto hanging/freezing.
Dont mind having the dock on the left but it is freaky having the pointer disappear.
any help would be appreciated,

I have to buttons that I cant remove. The button is on the left side of tabs and on the right side of the tabs. These arent back and forward buttons. When I go to customise they arent shown. How to remove it?

Those buttons are used to scroll through the tabs if you have too many to display. If all of the tabs that you have open are visible, the buttons should not be displayed. If they are displayed all of the time there may be a problem with the theme that you are using.

Why does iPhone Mail type disappear on right side?

I have a new iPhone, when typing email my right margin is set so letters start disappearing. I have to manually hit return and proceed to next line. How can I reset that right margin?

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened. The AnchorFree toolbar that you have is a version of the Ask toolbar.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:
* Check the Windows Control panel for the Ask Toolbar - http://about.ask.com/apn/toolbar/docs/default/faq/en/ff/index.html#na4
* Also check your list of extensions, you may be able to uninstall it from there - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons

Shuttle: How to reference selected items on the right side

This seems so easy so why am I struggling so much.
I have a simple shuttle:
1 Adam
2 Baker
3 Charlie
4 Delta
5 Echo
6 Foxtrot
Select Name D, UserID R from UserTable
The values are stored in a VARCHAR2 field MULTI_USER (for example 1:2:4:6)
When I want to get the names back from the selected item, how do I reference the colon-separated items?
For example:
Select Name from UserTable
where UserID in (select MULTI_USER from MULTI_USER where MULTI_USER_ID = 1)
should return:
Adam
Baker
Delta
Foxtrot
Why is this so difficult for me to figure out?

How do I remove items from the right side of the menu bar in Lion? I'm speaking of old software items that I have deleted but still have an icon there. Holding the "Command" key and dragging them out doesn't work.

'list all tabs' arrow - how can I move it to the right side of the tabs?

I want to have the 'List all tabs' arrow on the right side of the firefox window.. just to the left of the 'minimise/restore/close' set of buttons. The 'Open a new tab' button can be moved -- why not also the 'list all tabs' button?? Very frustrating. Much Google-fu has not yet found a solution to this simple problem... help?

Hmm, by default that little downward pointing triangle is at the right end of the tab bar. Could you go back into Customize mode and try dragging anything that appears to the right of it back around to the left of it?

MENU BAR ITEMS ON RIGHT SIDE ARE GONE!!!

I am using 10.2.8 on my iBook. All the menu bar items on the right side (audio, date and time, internet connect, airport) are suddenly GONE and there is nothing I can do to get them back. Clicking show battery status in the menu bar does not work. Ditto with date and time in menu bar and show PPPoE status in menu bar. Show volume in menu bar cannot be checked!!! I called Apple Care and they recommend an archive install of system folder and then reinstalling all my other programs. That sounds extemem and I'd like to avoid it if possible. Please help! Hey guys I've got the same problem. Booted machine up in the morning - no right side menu bar items. Last night I was erasing some language files from various apple apps (mostly iLife stuff, would 'get info' on the app, click on languages and then remove everything but english - usually reduced the size of those applications by a quarter to a half). Unfortunately I wanted to see what sum result of saved disk space I'd have so I emptied the trash can (seemingly too soon!) and I don't know how to fix whatever went wrong. Help!
