Quick time 7 pro and jingles for podcasting

I noticed quick time pro lets you record audio for making podcasts, but does it help with making jingles for a podcast? Does it come with samples of effects and sound to help make jingles?

Does it come with samples of effects and sound to help make jingles?
No. QT Pro is just a key code that unlocks the editing and exporting features of QuickTime Player. You get nothing that wasn't part of the original QT download. If you want samples, loops, etc. you'll need to look for some other audio production package.

  • I purchased quick time pro, and attempted to download quick time 7, but it says I have quick time x installed.  I deleted quick time x but it still says it is there and will not let me install.

In the optional install items-Quick Time is not an option. I am on Leopard.
    Then you either:
    1) never had QT X installed and could not have deleted it since QT X is only installed on Snow Leopard (OS X v10.6), Lion (OS X v10.7), and Mountain Lion (OS X v10.8) systems or...
    2) you are actually running Snow Leopard (OS X v10.6) and not Leopard (OS X v10.5) as you just stated.
Please confirm which statment is actually correct.

  • Quick Time Pro and MPEG-2 Playback plugin

    Hi,
I recently purchased Quicktime pro and the MPEG-2 playback plug in. I installed them no problem but when I try and playback a .vob file that on my harddrive, it seem to be playing but all I get is a white screen.
When I play the file using VLC media player it works fine.
Once I get it playing I want to convert it to a quicktime movie file
    Thanks for any help
    Regards
    Liam

Similar problem here, only on a Mac. Someone gave me a .vro file with home movies on it, so I bought the MPEG-2 plug-in and now QuickTime crashes immediately whenever I try to play the video.
Some relevant information from the crash:
    Exception: EXCBADACCESS (0x0001)
    Codes: KERNPROTECTIONFAILURE (0x0002) at 0x00000004

Aside from the fact that I can't view the video, I'm less than pleased that I spent $20 only to have it crash instead of tell me it's an unsupported video format.

If you have version 5 or 6 of QuickTime Pro and new registration will be required.
If you have version 7 Pro no new registration is needed.

  • Quick Time Pro and DivX on PC

    Hi Guys
I have QuickTime Pro and DivX on Win XP Pro. I need to output some divX files from a .mov file in QTP but cannot seem to find that as an option even though I have downloaded the full divX too. Is this only available on the Mac or am I missing something?
    Many thanks

The registration includes a name and a number and both must match exactly the info in the email.
Use copy/paste to enter them to avoid errors.

  • Quick Time Pro and exporting movie files

With Quicktime Pro do you have to purchase Flip for Mac for people with Windows Media Players or Realtime players to be able to view it?
I've heard of something called AV files. Does Quicktime Pro export a file in some version that can be read by other players, or do I have to purchase some software?

People with Windows can get the free QT Player for windows and view your QT files that way. One version of Flip4mac will allow you to start with QT and output WMV files. Those would play in Windows Media Player. AVI files might or might not depending on the codec used inside the AVI container.
There is lots of QT media on the internet, and Windows users just download and install the QT player at no cost and then can watch downloaded or streaming QT media.

  • Installing Quick Time Pro on Windows 7

I have purchased QT Pro and received instructions by email to download. When I click on the link ' http://www.apple.com/quicktime/pro/keyinstall.html ' I find myself on 'Apple Support QuickTime' with no means of starting the registration or download. Help!!

Make sure you're entering in both the user name and key code exactly as in the email Apple sent you. Any error in either, including leaving off a salutation (for instance, if the email says "Mr. John Smith") will cause the registration to error.
If you continue to have problems, or for future questions, I'd suggest you start a new topic with your issue (use the "Post a new topic" link at the top of each main topic page). It's generally better to ask a question as a new topic rather than as a reply in someone else's thread. It's more courteous to the original poster, and is more likely to get your question the attention it deserves.

  • Quick time is my viewer for all media now.

Quick time is my viewer for all media now. I installed Quick time Pro and inadvertently answered the dialogue box question that I wanted all files to default to Quicktime. I only wanted my video files pinned to Quicktime. How can I restore my photos to the Windows media viewer?
    [email protected]

What I would do is open the QT control panel and uncheck perferences related to photos. Then right click on a photo go to Properties click on Opens with: then the Change button and choose whatever media player you want to become the default player

  • How do I save movies puchased from Apple as .avi file from Quick Time Pro?

Help! I've purchased Quick Time Pro in hopes of converting my movies purchased from I Tunes to .avi files so they would be viewable through a media player. I exported the movie as discribed through Quick Time Pro and upon completion only get a white screen with no sound when the .avi file is opened. I'm concerned because this was an Apple file to start with and the necessary codecs (or whatever I need) should be included in the Quick Time Pro. What's the deal? Thanks.

The terminology is known as "Fair Use" and the U.S. Supreme Court had to get involved to sort the mess out.
When the first VHS and BetaMax "recorders" allow people to capture TV broadcasts and use them as they see fit (view at a different time than intended) these new "rules" were established.
Today no one thinks twice to use these "time shifting" devices (TiVo and others) to first "record" and then fast forward through content (skipping the people that really pay for the distribution by bypassing the commercials).
When you buy a DVD the "rules" say you get the right to view it on a DVD player or on your computer (also using DVD player software).
But, even though you "bought it", you never get the rights to change, edit, modify or convert it to fit your Fair Use rights.
The original poster wanted to convert some one else's file to another format. Apple doesn't own it (it only "sells" it). QuickTime Pro can't be used because it follows these "rules" regarding true ownership of the content (the copyright holders).
Since they have only purchased the right to "view" the file in the format is was sold (CD, DVD or iTunes purchase) they do not get the right to convert or edit the file.

  • Quick Time Pro adding music from Itunes

I just downloaded Quick Time Pro and am trying to load music for a slideshow. Can I use music from my Itunes library? If so How?

I followed the directions in Quick Time Pro Help topics, yet I am getting no audio. The name of the musician and song show up in the slide show, but no sound.

  • How to down load quick time pro

how do I down load it.
The registration on quick time rejects the number.
I can't find all item actions on my account history.

Download the Quicktime 7 Player (NOTE: SEVEN, not X), and run that:
    http://support.apple.com/downloads/#quicktime
Then go to "Registration...", under the "Quicktime Player 7" menu.
