Quick time pluging doesn't work with any browsers

Quick time works if I call the execution using the menu.
BUT
If I try to watch any apple video tutorial I get "QuickTime required. Free download".
I guess the plugin is not installed.
If I try to reinstall quick time the installation progrma say me that it cannot be installed on my HD.
Nothing happened removing all quick time folders and files and reinstalling them.
Any help will be appraciated, Thanks in advance, Alessandro.

I am not using my SL comp at the moment. However, under Tiger, the QT plugins are located in:
Machintosh HD>Library>Quicktime
Machintosh HD>Library>Internet Plug-in>QuickTime Plugin.webplugin is the only QT plug-in.
For FF:
Preferences>Applications

I do not use Safari. Unknown if you can change your plug-ins but, I do know you can view them.

Quick Time Player doesn't work with DisplayLink

Hi,
My Notebook has two external monitors powered by DisplayLink, and Quick Time Player is having trouble playing mov on my main display (connected via DVI).
1. When I start QTP, all my screen will refresh several times, for about half a minute
2. Once QTP is started, there's no video, only audio can be heard.
3. I can play the mov using Media Player Classic, although the video will only play on my main screen and the screen will refresh once when mov is loaded.

December 13, 2011 I bought Iphone4s in the Apple Store, North MichiganAvenue.
Phone bought Unlocked, which should work with any SIM card. The price was theappropriate phone - 649 dollars. The box had no markings, which can beunderstood phone is locked or not. Receipt sent to the e-mail, and I did notlook right.
If you try to activate the phone in Russia, it turned out that he can only workwith the operator AT&T.
I looked up and saw the receipt that it contains information aboutAT&T.
The seller made a mistake and sold me the phone attached to theAT&Tinstead of unlocked, unlocked for the price.

To update my original post, I discovered that my 4S does work with my JVC car radio when I use the Apple USB cable that I use to sync with my PC. This happens to be the cable that came with my 3GS, but it works fine to sync the 4S. I don't know whether the short non-Apple cable I had in the car is broken, or whether something about the iPhone has changed to make it obsolete. In any case, I'm back in business!

Time Capsule doesn't work with proxy?

Hello! I have a Time Capsule working with an ethernet connection which is controled by a proxy server. I don't see the option to configure TC in order to download the .pac file, or to configure manually the proxy settings.
Therefore, the internet through TC doesn't work!
Anyone knows a solution?

The blurb about Time Capsule not being compatible with some ISPs is no different from the same blurb that Apple has attached to the specs of all previous Airport base station products. So... if your ISP currently works with an older model Base Station, it will work with Time Capsule. ISPs that typically don't work are ones that use uncommon DSL communications or authentication protocols - often found in parts of Europe and the Middle East.
(Speculation on my part) Time Capsule will not function as a wireless client on an existing wireless network. Therefore, users of an existing wireless network will need to either (a) replace their existing wireless router with Time Capsule or (b) cable Time Capsule to their existing wireless router and disable the router built into Time Capsule. These are exactly the same options faced by previous purchasers of Apple's Airport base stations.

Time Machine doesn't work with Windows Server 2008

At work we use a Windows Server running with Windows Server 2008 to backup our work via Time Machine. All my collegues are running Snow Leopard appart from on that runs under Leopard because it's a G5.
A few weeks ago I installed Lion to try it before upgrading all the computer and found that time machine won't work. Apperantly I found that it is due to an AFP connection.
Can anyone tell me if I can do anything apart from trying to use another Backup Software like Data Backup?
Would really like to use Time Machine as it's SUPERB ;-)

Perhaps that drive is too small to use for Time Machine. Your Time Machine drive needs to be at least twice the size of the drive it is backing up, preferably 3 times.

Network printing with time capsule doesn't work with OS X Lion

I have a canon printer which will print when it is set up and connected to my imac. However when it is set up and connected to time capsule it will not print. It thinks it has completed the job but it hasn't.
I think that this may have something to do with OS X Lion.
The printer is just new, I bought it as the old one was playing up - I had been unable to get the old one which was connected via the time capsule to print since installing OS X Lion but never put two and two together - I just assumed the the printer had eventually died! So I bought a new one! It seems to set up OK as it is recognised as being attached to the timecapsule but there is no out put.
Does anyone have any ideas as how to sort this out?

New time capsule doesn't work with ethernet

I'm using a new time capsule,for the first backup I'm trying to use ethernet but loose the data disc when wifi is turned off. The ethernet light is green on the time capsule and the computer ethernet is also giving a green; but no action without wifi; any ideas?

Please open the network preferences and check that the ethernet has the correct IP from the TC and can get internet as well. Turn on ipv6 as this seems to be an issue in the new version.. it doesn't matter if it is only Mac to TC.. it seems to help.
If you keep having issues.. reset the TC and make sure it has all naming following SMB type conventions..
ie short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric.
In the finder.. use go, connect to server.. and type in
SMB://TCname
Where you replace the TCname with the actual TC name you just gave it.
Do a reset of TM and try again for location of the backup with the disk which should now be discovered.
Tell us the point where you have issues if it fails.

Remote sync well with iPad .. Impressive
However, it doesn't work with any hyperlinks!
It's simply an image and swiping the pages ... Ignoring all hyperlinks ... It does work with media but u would have to put them in sequence in your slides. If you work with many hyperlinks within a slide, you can't get any to work with the remote!
Quite disappointed that Apple actually charges for an app so simple with no value added services!
There are many free apps doing the same simple tasks.

TS1398 My iphone 4 doesn't work with public wifi

My iPhone 4 doesn't work with any of the apps apart from weather app when I use public wifi, such as iCloud. The sign still shows that I am connected with wifi hotspot even when the signal is the strongest.
I have tried resting my iPhone 4. But doesn't work. But other wifi such as in my home or at uni which require login work well with the device. I am not sure what seems to be the problem.

Apple doesnt like generic network names link Linksys, or Belkin - when the network is a generic name there is no way to identify your "linksys" vs my "linksys" so it has trouble connecting and remembering these networks.

Do not worry about it.
Time Machine needs that your external drive is formatted in HFS+, or better known as "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)". This filesystem is used by Apple on Macs and Windows cannot read or write drives formatted with this filesystem, being this the reason why all your devices do not read the external drive except your Mac.
You can only use your external drive to make Time Machine drives. If you store anything different, you may damage the Time Machine structure, so it is better not to use it as a drive to store other data. Instead, get another external drive to do it or create a second partition on the external drive formatted in FAT32 by using Disk Utility > http://pondini.org/OSX/DU3.html FAT32 can be read by Windows PCs

You are going to get nowhere quick with the 6.1 utility in Mountain Lion if this is the only OS you have available.
Look up how to install 5.6 utility under ML. At least then you can see printers. That is assuming you are trying to use USB.
Has this worked ever on Mountain Lion? Did you download the drivers for that printer for ML?
Plug it into a computer directly.. does it work? If it doesn't work locally it sure will not work via the network.

ID on the Mac can produce reports that may (or may not) prove helpful in diagnosing the problem. I suspect this is something not directly related to InDesign, and maybe not to any of the Adobe apps directly since you seem to be having a problem in more than one. That often inidcates a problem at the system level.
Nevertheless, it won't hurt to try to gather the reports. You'll find driections for how to generate them, and to post them on Pastebin.com (then put a link to them here) so we can see what's going on at Adobe Forums: InDesign CS5.5 Not Responding

Only my Mail Inbox doesn't work with iOS5. Sent, Bulk, Trash, and Draft works fine. I don't receive new emails, yet if I go to see my mail via Safari/Yahoo/Mail all the new emails are there. So it is clearly an iOS5 issue. I did a hard restart holding the On/Off and Home key, I delete the account and reinstalled, i disenabled iCloud and nothing seems to work. Any other ideas or do I wait for Apple to release 5.01 to fix all the mess they made.

All seems okay with host, user name and password. Server port is fine, though my 3G model has has multiple servers and the Wi-Fi version only has one. I even brought it to an Apple store while traveling in The Netherlands. They had no other suggestions.
