Quick way to add multiple transitions?

Hi
I producing a slideshow of about 100 still images and want to put a cross disolve between each picture. Is there a way to add all the transitions in one go?

P.S You may wish to change the duration of each clip to about 5 seconds ,the default I think is 10 which may be a bit too long.
If you know how to do this then please ignore the following. In the browser next to each clip you will see the duration tag - click in the duration and enter 5 instead of 10.
Then drop all the clips in the canvas with the insert with transition option.
To change the length -style of the transition applied to all the clips you then simply select all the clips on the time line (click on timeline and command click + a) then drag them to the viewer. You can now edit the effects parameters.
Also, if you wish to change to the effect applied to all the clips you can by changing the effect from the effects menu at this point. This will then replace the effect displayed in the viewer, to the top right of the viewer you will see a icon with a hand over it, drag and drop this to the canvas and the effect will change on all the clips.
If you know all the above, which you probably do, then sorry for going over old ground.
Im probably doing it wrong anyway.

Is there a way to add multiple transitions on the timeline. I edit 200 clips to music and I need to add a transition (the same transition, a dissolve) between each clip. I cannot add the transition when I pull them from the bin because they need to be edited to a soundtrack first.

1. Select your video clips.
2. Disconnect the a1 & a2 tabs on your destination controls (left side of the timeline.)
3. Move your playhead to the beginning of your timeline, or at the start of the first clip that is selected.
4. Drag the selected clips to the Canvas and drop the clips on the overlay for Overwrite w/ Transition.
This will overwrite your video clips on your timeline with the same video clips but will add your default transition between each edit point.

Fastest way to add multiple images, one after the other, in DW5.5

There has to be a faster way to add multiple images, one after the other, in a web page rather than just dragging each from the Files tab w/in DW 5.5
I was a little surprized I couldn't select multiple images and just drag a block and have DW just insert an img tag with empty alts and the source path but maybe there is some options I just haven't found?
I tried using Bridge to generate a quick html slideshow/gallery but it creates skads of divs and such... I just have to update an older site and was looking for an efficient way to add a bunch of images (random names ugh so just copying-pasting one and changing names is still more manual) that lie next to each other, no breaks inbetween....seems an ideal automated situation.
I'd settle for an external script or app or something because they come in blocks of 25 approx and I have all my actions in PS set up to size appropriately which is nice so I just wondered if there was something good for this low-level production task.

Thanks. Yes, I started writing a script but I just wondered if there were hidden gems in DW....so many programs do more than they are intended to do nowadays, I had to ask people who use it more!
Actually, the fastest was to just dupe one line of code, paste x amount and then just use the pick-wip to point and drag. That at least cut the menu out of the equation.
I thought I remembered doing a batch insert years ago..maybe in GoLive or before Adobe had DW? DW and GoLive are the only GUI html editors I've ever used..but, may it was just something out of an ealier photoshop...they've taken good stuff out and put good stuff in so many times that I can only remember so much!

Is there some way I can open the contact list, click on all of the individual addresses to which I want to send the email without the list closing between each address entry, and have all of my address entries be listed to the email at one time? Something like it works in Gmail. I do not want to use set lists, I want to enter different addresses each time I send an email. And I am a very slow typist, so I don't want to type the first few letters of each recipient's name. It is much faster for me to just click on the e-mail addresses in the list as a group. It doesn't make any sense to me to have to reopen the contact list for each address, when it should be so easy to click on all of the addresses I want at one time and then click once to add them all to the email as a group. If there is a solution to this, please tell me. Thanks.

Try this:
1. Select Mail>File>New Message.
2. Select Mail>Window>Address Panel.
3. Use (command+click) on the desired addressees in the Address Panel to create the list.
4. Click "To:" on the top left of the Address Panel.
The group that you selected will be added to the "To" field in your New Message.

Is there a way to add multiple borders to a single cell with one click or do I have to add one border at a time for example, one cell with borders on three sides?

I would like to know if there is a way to add multiple borders to a single cell or selection of cells in one click. At this time, if i want to add for example a top border and a bottom border to a single cell I have to do this in two steps: first select the top border, style, thickness, and color, and then next select the bottom border, style, thickness, and color. Is there a way to select the top and bottom border of a cell in one click? Clicking on the top border then holding down the command key while selecting the bottom border does not work, nor does holding down the option key, the control key, or the shift key work. Thank you for the suggestion but this did not work for my Mac. When a cell is selected for which I want borders, the entire cell is lit up. Then when I go to the border tool and select style, thickness, and color, the entire lit up cell takes on the border, that is the Outside Edges of the cell now have a border. So selecting the style, thickness, and color first doesn't work.
If I select the top border first (or any border), the drop down goes away and I can't select multiple borders - I get to choose one at a time. After selecting one border, style, thickness, and color, said border is now on the spreadsheet. Then I go back to the border selection and pick another border and the the previously selected style, thickness, and color reverts to null, so I start over with the new border style, thickness, and color. Yes, it is tedious.
The Fix would allow the user to select multiple borders, say left and right, before the drop down goes away after selecting only one border
Does it have something to do with Allow or Disallow border selection?

Select one and click cmd-A which selects them all.
Then click the import button if it hasn't started already.

I solved the problem a couple days ago. The mistake I made was that I neglected to shut Firefox down before making the changes to persdict.dat. Once I did that, everything worked as I expected it to work after bringing Firefox up again. I guess that's the equivalent of what you suggested. Thanks for your response.

Hi Piyush,
There is a tricky way of doing it in the config manager. Say for example, if you have 100 agents to be added, rename the agent so that they get listed first while adding to the skill group. This will reduce the effort of searching the agents. You can scroll and select the total number of agents till it is renamed and revert back once added to the skill groups

I don't want copy the layer and just do a thicker outline behind it, the point is to have it all on the same layer .. just wondering if thats possible. Thanks!

You have been given two approaches which may meet your needs. There is another way that offers independent control of the styles, but you do use multiple layers.
Assume you have a path that defines your object and lets say you want to apply three different styles and have independent and ongoing control over each. Create a new blank layer for each style. On each of those layers apply a brush stroke to the path, say a 1 pixel stroke whose color is also the background color as an example. Now on each of those layers apply your chosen layer styles. That is what I have done in this example:

I want a single dial plan for my pool (which is centralied) but want to

No. You can kind of do it by dragging from the Contacts app, but the default address (first in list, I think) will be used. I you have contacts with multiple email addresses, you’d have to go to each in the address field and select the correct one.

You can create an Alias to the external drives folder where you have your other images stored.

Then you could add that folder to the Finder Sidebar area by just Dragging it to the Sidebar.

One of my clients owns several cafes and they all share the same BC website abnd have their own pages. He now wants to add facebook activity feeds for each cafe.
I can go through the regular steps to add 1 feed to the site, but how can I add additional feeds? It there code I can paste into each cafe page instead?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

I use an a third part JS code to pull in Facebook content.
One script (it is a premium script) my client loves is called Social Stream. He loves the social wall and I have several other clients who appreciate this functionality. Could be an interesting way to display the various cafe's FB activity.

Cross Dissolves: quick way to add just ONE!?

So i've updated to the newest update of final cut x, but i'm still hung up on adding cross dissolves
i have two clips on my timeline, i want to add a cross dissolve between the two cuts. so i right click between the two and choose 'add cross dissolve' and it adds it between the two cips, but it always also adds it to the other end of one of the clips, so i have to go and delete the second one.
it seems like you can only choose on the timeline to add a cross dissolve to the beginning and ending of a clip, never just one cross dissolve between two clips. it will always add a second on the other end of one of the clips.
i know i can go to the dissolve pannel and find 'dissolve' and drag and drop it over but i don't want to do that. i need to be able to do this quick and easy just like it was on final cut pro 7.
any suggestions?

Trying to find a way to add multiple google acounts to e printer through the cloud. c310a Photosmart

My wife and I have 2 separate Google Chrome cr48 laptops. In order to print we have to print through google cloud which is why I purchased this c310a. After registering her account to the printer, I try to register mine and get an error saying already registered to another acount. I would hope this printer can handle more than one google cloud account, because it would increase the practicality for buisnesses.

Hi timshep. If you have already 'shared' your printer in Google Cloud Print, and not getting the results you are looking for, maybe I misread your question.
Let me clarify. Google Cloud Print is only set up one time. After that, once the printer is shared by that 'master' Google' account with all of the other 'Google Accounts' that you want to be able to cloud print from will simply be able to access it, without adding the printer the same way the Master account set it up.
Now if I am way off base on what you are doing, here are some other questions that come to mind.
Are you trying to have multiple Google "Cloud" accounts listed in the HP Eprint App under the 'Cloud' option?
Or perhaps you specifically talking about Google CloudPrint App?
