Quick way to recover purchased apps?

I just did an iPad sync that I very much regret having done.  (https://discussions.apple.com/message/17804531#17804531)
In order to get one lousy PDF from my computer to my iPad, I both burned 45 minutes and lost about 15 apps.  Half the apps were free, the other purchased and paid for.  The problem is that, though I watched as iTunes told me it was deleting these apps, I didn't make a record of which apps were being purged from my iPad.  Now I'm looking at my suddenly sparser screens and wondering what I lost and how to get everything back in the quickest order.
Can anyone suggest a way?  Should I try to go to my iPad back up?
I'm not sure why I lost all the apps, but I here's a possible reason--I think I might have backed the iPad up using a MacBook Pro on another occasion and today I used my desktop Mac Pro and so perhaps it decided to push me back to an earlier configuration.  I wasn't sure where I had backed up the iPad last and was counting on iTunes to tell me if I was using the wrong machine, but maybe because when I buy new Apple computers I use the migration tool and essentially make one machine a copy of the other, the iPad didn't realize this was a different machine and an earlier backup.  I'm just guessing here.  If anyone has any tips I'd be glad for them.  Thanks.

Try going to the App Store app, then tap Updates, then Purchased. Then go to "Not On This iPad"- this should list the apps you purchased that aren't on the device. Tap the cluod and it should begin to download again.

  • Transfering Purchases To Itunes - Any Way to Recover Purchased Songs/Apps?

    I. Am. So. Angry.
This is why I hate itunes!!!! Everything is so confusing!!! Someone, please help?
I have Itunes v10, and an updated Ipod. But nearly every time I transfer purchases to my computer, it doesn't transfer something, yet no error comes up to warn me! And then I sync my Ipod, thinking everythings good, and all the purchased apps and such will still be there... BUT THEY ARE MISSING. I did not delete them! And they are gone! WHYYYYYYY
This has happened with countless apps and music files. Is there any way to recover purchased things? I DO NOT WANT TO BUY THEM AGAIN.

I have divorced parents, so I have to sync my Ipod with both computers... I have not found out how to do this. Can someone explain how? I think homesharing might work. Also, I want to be able to recover my lost PURCHASED apps/songs. I am very displeased and may never buy another itunes card or product. Every. That's how upset this is making me. PLEASE HELP. And explain in detail, I am stupid.

Sorry, Apple has no approved method to downgrade the version of iOS on your iDevice. You can voice your displeasure with the iOS by leaving feedback at the appropriate subsection from the link below.

  • Is there a way to access purchased apps from the app store on windows computer? For USB boot drive

Having a problem with my Macbook (13", Late 2009 I believe) after attemption to update iOS to OS Mavericks. Have run into the grey screen of death, and have almost exhausted all options, including reseting pram, accessing fsck, and even using disk utility to reinstall the iOS. I believe that during the initial update (which is the root of the problem), there was some corruption within the directories which I believe can be contributing to my problem.
I was hoping to find a way to access my purchased apps from the app store on a windows computer so that I can make a USB boot drive in order to rule out the hardware problem that I am currently speculating.
    Please advise, thanks in advance!

Yes if you have the iPod and iTunes set up to sync via wifi. However, you have to do it from your one syncing computer and the iPod and computer have to be on the same network.

You can see the list of all purchased items at http://account.nokia.com .
You have to use Nokia store again and you can download all purchased items once again for free.
    Hope this helps.

  • TS1702 is there any way to archive purchased apps, i.e. remove and archive from iphone

I have apps on my iphone 3gs that I am not playing or using any longer, when I sync they are automatically reloaded, is there any way that one I remove the items that they can be archived w/in the app store?

Change your sync settings in iTunes, you're probably syncing all apps rather than selected apps.  By default, app purchases are always available in the App Store for re-download if you want it back on the iPhone but don't want to re-sync to get it.

  • How to recover purchased apps after changing an Apple ID?

So I changed my apple id because my current email address is not working anymore on Yahoo. The next day when I checked for some updated on my apps, I found out that my deleted apps under "Not on this iPod" button are missing! And so I checked the store for my recent purchase and it has price. So it means I have to pay for them again to download! Anyone please help me how to recover them all!

Despite the fact that your old email doesn't work doesn't work anymore, the Apple ID still does.  Log out and back in again with the old ID and downlload the apps.  When finished, log out/in again to get back to your new ID.
These apps should sync to iTunes on your computer.  If they do not, do the same log out/in in iTunes to retrieve the apps and store them on your computer.
The Sync function is totally independent of which ID was used to obtain the apps, music, movies, etc.  The only time that you will care is when you need to update the app.  If you choose to do it from iTunes, you must again log out/in to update.  However, the iPod handles that for you and all you'll need is the correct password.

  • IOS 5 Update - Not possible to recover Purchased apps after having changed the country of origin

    All
I am currently struggling to restore my apps that I have purchased on my iPhone 4. I can see my purchase history but here is the problem: The majority of the apps were purchased when my iTunes account was still linked to my German bank account/Region. I have changed the region and payment details when in relocated to the UK. The question is now how can I restore my apps made while my account was linked to my German details? I already tried to restore my payment information and region but no luck so far.
Can anybody assist me with this problem? Any input would be much appreciated.
    Thanks!

@shadow221, unfortunately that method only retured my previously backedup photos and nothing else. After attempting restoring it back to a few Backups with failed attempts, I just gave up.
Some users mentioned doing a complete restore to factory setting and do a backup but it just screwed with my ipod and no music back.  So i just let it be.  I reloaded my old tracks from iTunes, my Apps, unfortunately iTunes doesnt give me any option to reload any of my videos FML.
I did the above and wasted a good day and a half of my life reloading (on my pc) 300 songs, now I only have 1,200+ more to download to match my previous library contents.  Thanks Apple.
PS: i called Apple a week before the iOS 5 release and an associate explained that it will NOT delete my library if I do the update---thanks much for the warning!!!

  • Re installed os x but iPhoto, iMovie and garage band missing. any way to recover the apps?

anyway to recover my those apps? or my only option is to buy them?

The installer discs that shipped with your Mac should have a restore installer for installing them, if you didn't buy them originally from the App Store.  If you did buy them from the App Store, you may be able to ask them to be rereleased for download from http://www.apple.com/support/mac/app-store/contact.html?form=account&topic=MacAp pStoreAccountandBilling
If you bought the machine from a non-Apple authorized source, ask them to call AppleCare for the original discs to be sent to you.  Otherwise call AppleCare yourself for the original discs:
