Quicken is unable to access financial info

Just installed a new Airport Extreme and ran into what appears to be a firewall issue. Quicken returns an error "OL-261", which according to the folks at Quicken means that their software was unable to establish a connection to the relevant web site to download the transaction info. They suggest that the firewall needs to specify that Quicken is allowed access.
I can't find any place on the AE control panel to make this adjustment. Any suggestions would be most welcome!

Welcome to the discussions!
There is no firewall on the AirPort Extreme.
You might want to check the settings on your computer.
System Preferences > Security > Firewall tab
Try allowing all incoming connections

  • I just loaded Lion and now my quicken program can't be used. What do I do to access my financial info?

I just installed Lion and now my Quicken program can't be used, says it isn't supported.  What do I do to access my financial info? Also all my old files created under AppleWorks 6 that weren't converted are no longer accessible.  Any help with these is appreciated.  I am away from my Time Capsule and can't retrieve anything for 2 weeks.  Will I be able to go back and access this info with Lion?

I recently made the same mistake.  The thing to do is download the new Quicken Essentials for MAC.  After you install the new version follow the instructions on how to transfer your old files.  There is a way, it just takes a little time and, if I remember correctly, it takes the info from your quicken backup files. Hopefully you had auto back up on and your files are intact.  I didn't and reconstruction was a bear but entirely possible.  The new Quicken is quite different but seems to work quite well.  Good luck.

I have an external hard drive from my time capsule that stopped working on me. I am attempting to access the data with a hard drive reader on my MAC. I am able to see the drive in disk utility and under system info USB. But I am unable to access the data and it does not show on the desktop when connected.

Ok if disk utility was able to verify the drive I doubt there is any problem.. are you trying to open a TM backup??
You need to mount the sparsebundle then check the actual info inside the bundle.
Don't use disk warrior.. if the disk has verified then unless you deliberately deleted files there is nothing that is going to do.
Pondini has a lot of stuff about getting access to the sparsebundle.
    http://pondini.org/TM/17.html
But if you have copied info to the TC that is now gone.. and the disk is ok.. I am not sure.. the TC will not have deleted the files itself.

  • TS3297 I keep trying to purchase something in the iStore but it comes up with "Your account is temporarily unavailable"  "Store unable to access my account info"  But I have checked my account info and everything is up to date.

I keep trying to purchase something in the iTunes Store but it comes up with "Your account is temporarily unavailable"  "Store unable to access my account info"  But I have checked my account info and everything is up to date.
I have some money from a card still on my account that I would like to use.

This has been an issue with some users for close to 24 hours now. I've been getting the error for the last 5 or so hours myself.
Having problems is understandable, it happens. and if this is related to the iCloud hack reported yesterday it is good to know Apple is trying to fix the issue.
But it sure would be nice if there was an official statement from Apple concerning this.

As this is my Mac which I've bought but for 1st 10 days one of my friend used it using his apple ID
So I want my Mac fully secured from now onwards.

  • Unable to Access BI InfoSet in Crystal Reports using SAP Info sets driver

    Hi,
I am looking to develop a report on top of BI InfoSet in Crystal Reports. However using the the SAP InfoSets driver I am only able to visualize 'Classic InfoSet' and 'SAP Query'. It does not show the option to import the regular InfoSet as a datasource. I am unable to access the InfoSet built by the db join on InfoCubes that is available in SAP BW System.
    Can anybody help.
    Thanks,

  • Unable to access sites......."Too many http redirects"

The last week or so I've been unable to access some of my financial accounts using my iPad 3 and iOS 6( everything is updated). I'll either get the message that's in the title of this thread, or nothing will happen when clicking a "submit" tab, or on one site the info displayed in my account was of a previous day(wasn't updated and remained that way for a couple of days).
I first noticed this problem when using the 1Password app, but have found the problem occurs even when I access a site w/o using that app. I thought it might be browser related, but have the same issue when using Safari, Chrome or Dolphin. I have also quit/restarted 1Password and all browsers. I have no problem accessing these sites while on my MBP using ML.
Is this a problem with ios6 that needs to be addressed? Or something on my end?

It appears to be browser specific. I can access the problem sites using Atomic and Opera browsers. C'mon Apple, get a fix for Safari.

  • Unable to access applications in workspace, shared services

    Hi ,
I am Unable to access applications in workspace and shared services on EPM 11.1.1.3. It happened after normal shutdown/startup scripts were run.
But when I reconfigure the Weblogic web server and run the services again I can access the applications. This is happening frequently now.
Is this anything related to user profiles on the server as we are migrating these to other server.
Can any one help me with this .

You must first check if you have configured the web server to include the hfm/planning products.
Then you can refer to the thread below:
Not able to see Consolidation Administration
The latter definitely applies to version 9.3.1, but it could be helpful.

  • "Unable to Access" error msg for BI Publisher Report

    Hello All,
I am getting the following error when trying to access a BI Publisher report from the dashbaord. We can access the folders that come with BI Publisher examples, ie Executives, Financials, HR Manager but not the "GTR" that we have created.
Privelleges are the same. The folders have the same rights too.
This is for OBIEE 10.1.3.4 with BI Publisher of the same version, running on a solaris box.
    Any thoughts.

I am unable to access my digital editions library on a new computer with my existing account, it shows that my library is empty? Can anyone offer a suggestion to fix this?

If you have given correct info about you ios 6.1.3 - all you need to do is delete account. You will be able to sign in with new one afterwards. Make sure you don't delete any info when you see those prompts.

  • ASA 5505 unable to access ASDM ( just needs some ports ope and FWDing setup)

I was able to access the ASDM launcher in the browser yesterday   via    https://192.168.111.1/admin and I was stuck there as the browser version says that my ASA image does not work with my ASDM version...      So i tried some trouble shooting and think that i may have changed the image to an image that does not exist.     (I'm not sure where it is that I would actually place that image either)    Now i am unable to access through the browser at all.
Anyways, I am ok with SSH/CLI and have been using my firewall in this manner.   I am walking into this companies current configuration and simply need to do the following:
I need to OPEN ports 9000, 85, 40085, 49005 so that my mobile device can pull my security cameras in the office
I need to set port forwarding so that any connections that hit outside-in ip address 205.214.36.53:1610 >>> http://192.168.111.30:1610/AndroidWS/     for our new mobile CRM.
I have been through some of your related discussions and am falling short somewhere.   Please help

This doesn't specifically answer your question, but if you want to get ASDM functionality back you need to load a newer version onto flash memory and then point the ASA to that with the configuration command:
    asdm image disk0:/asdm-version.bin
You are running  ASA Version 9.0(2) so you need at least version 7 of ASDM to support that.  Interestingly enough your "asdm image" statement in your config points to asdm-509.bin and you have asdm-631.bin and asdm-645.bin on flash.  None of those will work.  I suggest loading up asdm-721.bin and changing the asdm image statement accordingly.  I am pretty sure a reboot is required after that is done.
    Good Luck!

  • I am unable to access any of my ebooks in adobe after I had help this morning

I am unable to access any of my ebooks in adobe after I had help this morning

Hi, Thank you so much for the info.... I really do appreciate it. We had the laptop updated by way of a system upgrade with RAM and an additional SSD drive. Once reconfigured all programs were reinstalled but Iphoto is not among them. Iphoto was on the laptop when purchased so we have no additional discs. Before the laptop was updated we backed the photos up to an extrenal hard drive so we have them, but cant access them. Could I purchase Iphoto 8 stll? Would this work? We would also require an external CD drive as we no longer have the disc drive in the laptop (I think the extra new bits took over). You may have noticed I have very limited knowledge on computers so any help dispite how simple it may sound to some would help me greatly. I just want all my photos back .... Thanks inadvance... Hope to hear soon x

  • Unable to access iTunes U as an administrator

Built out an iTunes U site for my college, but I'm now unable to access the site as an administrator. When I use the log-in process Middlebury set up, with my correct Middlebury user name and password, I go to the iTunes U site, but do not have access to the admin screens that I have used in the past. Other administrators at the college have no such problem. No one here at the college can solve this problem. Any thoughts from Apple or other users?
I do seem to have two sets of log-in info for iTunes, one associated with a Middlebury College e-mail address, one with a Gmail account. Could this be the problem? If so, is there a way to purge one account?

    Hi Ashish,
If the portal installation is on a dual stack installation(server with ABAP and JAVA Stack on the same server), then the default j2ee admin user is j2ee_admin.If it is on pure java stack installation, the j2ee admin user is administrator. For the dual stack installations, SAP* user would be there for ABAP administration.
If you are going to configure the Portal for UME as ABAP datasource, then make it sure that the same admin and guest users are not there both on the portal server and ABAP server. If the same users ids are on both servers, then you will not be able to login on to the portal server using that particular user ID. Unique user ids should be maintained if you are planning for UME as ABAP Datasource.
Just refer this note for getting details on supporting datasource changes. note number - 718383. In this note, it is clearly mentioned that, if you have already changed the datasource to ABAP, then we will not be able to revert it back to original state. So be aware before doing the datasource change.
Just refer this forum for further clarifications on UME as ABAP datasource and regarding SSO especially with this configuration. I have mentioned i clearly in this thread.
