Quicktime 7.4.1 plugin + Sysprep

Question

I have a problem involving Quicktime 7.4.1's browser plugin in conjunction with using Sysprep for automated deployment of computers. The problem is as follows:
1.) Start from a pristine install of Windows XP Pro
2.) Install Quicktime 7.4.1
3.a) Attempting to access Quicktime content from Firefox and IE as non-admin user fails
3.b) Same attempt as admin succeeds
3.c) Trying again as regular user succeeds
4.) Run sysprep to prepare image for deployment
5.) Deploy image
6.) See steps 3.a,b,c)
This is not a functional state of affairs for a deployment with several hundred computers. Is there a way to either retain whatever information is stripped out during sysprep, or alternatively, a way to make the Quicktime plugin work again after deployment without requiring manual intervention?

I deleted the older version of QuickTime before I downloaded the one you gave me, and the new one is working fine. Thank you.
I am surprised, however, that downloading the new version from Apple's website fixed the issue. I was running version 7.4 perfectly fine and I was trying to download the new version from Software Update. Why would Software Update give me a update that was not for Leopard? I am confused.
