QuickTime File Motion Stuttering Upon Display Change for Projector

When I play my Quicktime file on my MacBook's native resolution (1280 x 800) it plays wonderfully. However when I change the display to 1024 x 768 to match the max resolution of my projector, the motion stutters quite badly.
Any suggestions?

What are the rest of your machine and software specs/versions? Wea re having a similar effect when we try to export a HDV 1080i sequence to SD dvd, and numerous other settings. It basically looks great on the 23" cinema display, which is progressive, and looks terrible on a DVD player/TV, which is interlaced. We're trying to find the solution to our problem, and wanted to see if there's a correlation with yours. If you search the Final Cut and creativecow.net forums for " Interlace Artifacts " you will see the threads and maybe help out with your problem.

I Think AUT10 T_Code will help you. Use Transaction Code AUT10 , put Start Date, End Date and in Transaction code put MM02 and execute.
In log displayed, you can use various option like filter on table name or field name or user wise or T_Code wise

Trouble with display settings for projector/Reactable

Hi,
I'm trying to install a musical hardware interface called the Reactable for use with my iMac, and I'm having trouble getting the correct display settings. It's designed to work with laptops and it works fine for the most part with my Apple Hackintosh, but I can't seem to get it working correctly with my iMac. The tech support from the Reactable company recommends that I use 1600x1200 resolution or 1024x768 (native) on the projector, but when I open my display settings I am not presented with either of those options. It only permits me to use 1024x768 and 1024x768 (stretched).
The only instance in which I can get the projection to cover the whole table is with 1024x768, but then the projection is too large. Do I need to change the scaling somehow? How do I do that?

1080p. If you have a Mac Mini with an HDMI connector, connect direct through there.
Otherwise you'll need to look at either: Which Macs don't have audio over mini-Displayport connectivity, need either an
Apogee DVI To HDMI Converter / SPDIF Optical Toslink+Coaxial Input Output if you have a mini-DVI or DVI (The left connector is DVI, and the right connector is mini-DVI) connector and it is Intel.

Note, thunderbolt connectors look the same as mini-Displayport except they have the lightning icon symbol.

Open Motion: no graphics displayed?

If I start a new motion file, save it, quite Motion 2, then open that same file, I see my layers, etc. but the imagery doesn't display anywhere.
Any ideas? It makes Motion almost unusable... this after a recent Motion updater.

This is the deal (more details):
If Motion is open, I can Open the saved motion file. It comes in and works. If I use the Finder tab and open from within Motion that way, it doesn't work. I have to
File > Open > and use that dialog.
If Motion is not open & I double-click the motion file to open it, it opens in Motion with NO display elements for the saved file. I find this pretty strange. A bug?!?

Iphone 5c display change possible in Apple stores?

Some Apple Stores can do such a repair, but not all stores in all countries since it takes special equipment and training. I've not seen a comprehensive list, so you'll probably need to call your local Apple Store(s) and ask if they're set up to perform screen repairs yet.

I have the same issue. If you are exporting from iMovie version 10.0.1, I run into the same issues if I export directly to YouTube or if I export to file then upload to YouTube.
Google's help file doesn't properly address this problem and thier help is also out of date. In talking to a support rep at Apple, they said the export to YouTube should just work or the exporting to a file then uploading otherwise it's an issue for Google support.
If someone can post a solution that works (is a streamable format - which is different than the format that YouTube accepts as it will accept many formats but take a long time to process them), I'd be interested to hear also.

when we go to environment-->display changes, system shows only format(wrd,xls etc) of the file which was created and deleted but how to track the file by file name once created and/or deleted.

How to display attributes for a CHAR in the Excel file (BEx)?

Hi all,
I knew that I can display attributes for a CHAR (ex: attributes - address, phone#, zip code for CHAR-Customer) when I run Web- based report. But I cannot find this function after I export the file to Excel. In the context menu for excel file, I only see 'select filter'(but no display attribute values), drilldown, properties (for query). Is it something that I cannot have in the excel file for the BEx report?

In fact, I found that I can move IOs in the 'rows', 'column', and 'free CHARs' and so do end user by using 'local view'. That means every one can change the query definition, right?
For your last question, that was what I want to know. How can I prevent 'end users' change those query definitions? Is it about 'role' setting, right? But I am not the one to do 'role' setting.

Dynamically Changing Display Quality for Children

I am interested in changing the display quality for a child SWF that is loaded in at Runtime, and changing it's Display quality based on user interaction. Anyone know if this is possible?
I have the following below, however it changes the entire application, not just the dynamically loaded SWF

In fact I think there is only one instance of the Stage object in a running player. So the only way to do this would be to rasterize your Sprite and store it in a BitmapData object, changing the quality of the stage juste before rasterization and then restoring back after. Export Quicktime File for DVD for Composer

My Composer wants a quicktime file of my film. I know if I export it the way that I usually would for iDVD, the file will be too large to burn onto DVD. Any suggestions about what to do? If he doesn't need the full resolution, how can I change the size & res options before I export it?

Most composers want a frame-accurate, or at least a frame-referenced, piece of video. With your extreme compression, she might not get what she needs to do accurate syncing of the hero shot s with the hero music and effects stabs.
I'd ask her for more information and I'd also think about providing a copy of your film with a timecode overlay.

Some help if anyone knows. Heres my setup, Desktop G5 Dual 2.3 with 1 gig of Ram. I'm working with Quicktime media: Motion JPEGA Quicktime generated out of a Discreet Smoke NLE System. Whats happening is I'll start to play a relatively short clip, 30 seconds, and it will give me the dropped frame
warning.
First thing, is 1 GIG of Ram sufficient for these files? Or is this some kind
of preference setting? I did notice that the QT files had audio at 32 Bit
where the sequence settings only allow you to go to 16.
Any responses appreciated

After our RollUp installation, some files in the BIN directory still has the date of 2/5/2013 (SP3, no RollUp4), some has the date of 6/13/2013 (RollUp4)
Despite RollUp4 looks like to have been installed, Exchange Server still reports it's running "Version 14.3 (Build 123.4)"

After you install an update rollup for Exchange 2010, the version of Exchange Server isn't updated to show that the update rollup is installed. This issue occurs because the version number that is displayed by the Exchange Management Console or by other
administrative mechanisms is obtained from the Exchange Server Object in Active Directory.
If you want to get the latest version of Exchange server, the article Andy provided is a good way.

Just upgraded an iMac with 4GB Memory and Intel Processor from 10.6.8 to Mavericks and Quicktime plays m4v files with stuttering audio

I just upgraded an iMac with 4GB Memory and 3.33 Ghz Intel Core Duo Processor from 10.6.8 to Mavericks. I now have Quicktime 10.3 which plays m4v files with stuttering audio. This is a nightmare as I use Quicktime a lot in my research. I have seen similar threads but so far only reporting the problem. For now I have installed Quicktime Player 10.7 (which appears in utilities, leaving Quicktime 10.3 in the main applications list) which plays the same videos with no problem, but it would be good to know if anyone has managed to find a workaround at all, or know if Apple have plans to do anything about it?

Slow performance after installing Yosemite on an older Mac is often caused by inadequate memory. Although you can install the upgrade on a Mac with 2 GB of memory, experience has shown that at least 4 GB is needed for full performance.
Select About This Mac from the Apple menu. If you have less than 4 GB of memory, and your model has upgradable memory, install as much as it can take, or at least that much. Any reputable RAM vendor will have a web form in which you can select the Mac model and be directed to compatible parts.
