Quicktime Pro 7.1.3 wont initialize any more

Several months ago, I downloaded Quicktime 7 and then paid
for and got the code to activate Quicktime Pro. I needed it to convert big .avi files into Quicktime movies. Everything worked wonderfully until last week when it quit converting any type of file into .mov files. I choose "export" as always, set up the format under "Options" and then tell it to "save."
Just as before, it shows a progress bar but instead of taking
many minutes to convert the file from .avi or mpg to .mov, it quickly (in two seconds) goes from 0 to 100%, indicating the conversion was accomplished. But it wasn't. The conversion never happens. I have completely uninstalled quicktime and even used regedit to clean out an missed components. I then reload Quicktime 7, put in my code for Quicktime Pro and then try to convert from avi to mov and nothing happens. To my knowledge, nothing has happened to my system. I use Premiere 6.5 to edit. I have win2000 operating, plenty of ram and harddisk. I checked DirectX 9 and it said everything was working fine. I have tried changing the parameters under "options" but nothing seems to change the outcome. Any thoughts or help greatly appreciated because I have a project that must be done tomorrow. Sorry for the late reply. I had just did a search on this and still couldn't find the solution.
Anyways with a little self reseach, I found it to be somewhat of a a little "hidden" fucntion.
But once I found it... WoLLA!!
To merge to clips together:
1. Open the clip you want to merge (clip B)
2. Go to top menu navigation Edit > Add Clip to End...
3. Quicktime will open a window to select the clip you want to merge.
4. Choose that clip (clip A)
That's it.

Hi, I am an Apple fan and as any fan, I would like to watch WWDC 08.
Instead of downloading it on iTunes I would like to watch it from that link:

I have 256Kbps connection and I think that it's enough for this kind of work.
Unfortunately when I try to watch that keynote (or any other), Quicktime opens, start to work, etc... but then nothing: The title changed to WWDC 2008 Keynote, I get the quicktime logo in front of me, with some blue dots going from left to right and from right to left but nothing else. No keynote.
I thought that it was "loading" and let it load for a whole day but the video never start.
I tried to change the settings in Quicktime Preferences in the streaming tab but it didn't change anything. Still getting the same problem.
I am on Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.2 (not updated to 10.5.3 because I heard that there were issues with CS3), using QuickTime Pro 7.5 on an iMac.
Can anyone help me on how to solve that?

What changes did you do & did you restart your computer afterwards?
Have you tried a different browser?
Download the video & then view the Keynote. See if you experience the same issue.
WWDC 2008 Keynote

I have a macbook pro and my creative cloud application wont launch any more.

My creative cloud application does not launch properly any more.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have tried reinstalling it from a different root account.
nothing works. The creative cloud app starts and then disappears from the menu bar.

HT1476 my ipod wont charge any more

my lightning usb cable ripped so i whent and baught a new one it worked fine but after one day it took like 10 hours to completely charge now here i am now connecting my ipod to a wall outlet charger and it wont charge so im now connecting it to my computer and it still wont work any ideas people !

Is QuickTime Pro able to be programmed in any way to make it so when a vidoe frame is reached it will automatically jump to another frame or a previously marked chapter?

I currently create interactive videos with Flash that use live person video to ask the viewer questions and allows the viewer to click an answer.
Depending on "right" or "wrong" the playhead jumps to the appropriate point in the video (all held on local PC not web) to either say "Well done" or "Sorry that's wrong because...". Then it jumps again to the next question in the video - and repeats.
This video can then be inserted in PC's PowerPoint.
Now.. a client wants the same thing but to work in keynotes. So No Flash and No Powerpoint.
Part of the QTPro7 new features says it can be controlled with scripts? I can't find anything to show how or what can be done with this?
So my question - is can the functionality I have in Flash be created in QTPro with some form of script?
I know I can create something like it in keynotes using individual clips - but the mention of controlling QTpro with scripts has got me hoping there is a way to treat it like Flash????

Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.

Wont vibrate any more

My iPhone wont vibrate anymore, I've tried restarting it, and checking the vibrate settings. It says its on but nothing happens.

i used to have a complete set of ringtones on my Itunes and on my iPhone 4S. recently i've upgraded (?) to IOS 5.1.1 and i lost my specific ringtones! they do appear in itunes but when looking at the tone folder on the device, they have an exclamation mark any help???

I've found the solution myself.....
first to remove to tick on syncing tones and sync.
afterwards, tick it again and sync!
all is working fine

Windows Terminal Server 2012 wont publish any more remote apps!

I have a weird problem with our new Windows 2012 Terminal Server. We have already published one application through a session collection via Remote Desktop Services. We now have the need to publish another application. When I click on the "Tasks"
drop down menu and select "Publish RemoteApp Programs" I get an error of "Server.domain.local is not available on the network. Verify that the server is available on the network or remove the server from the collection"
Does anyone have any ideas why I am seeing this?

First of all please check that you have enough permission or performing with admin account.
I have installed many RemoteApp in my environment and can’t find this error until now.
Have you recently made any changes in your environment before facing this issue?
Did you tried to restart the server and then try to launch new Remote App?
By the way, can you let us know which program you want to publish as Remote App, so if possible then we can try to install and let you know the result.
In meantime, please try to publish new RemoteApp with PowerShell command as Administrator and let us know the result. You can try below command. In this example, we create a RemoteApp to deliver WordPad. We use the following command;
new-rdremoteapp -Alias Wordpad -DisplayName WordPad -FilePath "C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories\wordpad.exe" -ShowInWebAccess 1 -collectionname MySessionCollection -ConnectionBroker LS01.CRFB.Local

Video ipod wont add any more MP4 video files?

i have well over 23 GB left on my 30 GB video ipod and for some reason stupid itunes will not add the files to my movies setion of my library. I have the videos in my documents, and i click add file to library, that doesnt work, and when i double clcik the file so it will play in itunes, that doesnt work either! PLEASE help.

The screen is leaving pixel lines? That sounds like a pretty well damaged iPod.
If restoring/updating hasn't worked, the best thing to do is to request service for your iPod. If it is under warranty, they will do it for free:

Can I get i-touch that wont recharge any more fixed for free?

I bought my i-touch(4th generation) in NY in January, so it is only 10 months old. The recharging piece is broken, so I cant use it. I ased locally and they said this would not be covered under Apple's warranty. Just wondering does anyone know if this should be the case?

Take it to an Apple store and have an agent at the Genius Bar look at it. Only they can tell you whether or not repair/replacement will come with a charge.
