Quicktime recording question PLEASE HELP - It's kind of urgent

for over a yaer now, i have been using quicktime to record songs from the internet. for example, if there was a song i liked by a band on myspace but you couldn't download it, id record it. what i'd do is take a male to male 3.5 mm cable and id plug it into both the input and the output slots in the back of my mac, and then i could record just the sound, without any outside noise such as cars passing by. the quality was always really good.
BUT - just recently, my recordings have been having reallllly bad echo-y sounds, and the quality is just atrocious.
is this a problem with my cable or what? how can i fix it?

Long answer: Well, to me it means you've never actually compiled and run a java program before. Correct? Which means you haven't been paying attention in class, haven't been doing your labs, and this is the first time you've deigned to actually crack open the compiler. If you had actually bothered to undertake any of the above due-dillegence obligations you would know by now that in order to execute a java program by the usual method one (or more) classes must define a method with the signature public static void main(String[])
Short answer: You forgot the main method. Putz!

This is IMHO the best way to record skype calls - if you want something that sounds as good as the other person sounds when you are talking to them - and with out risk of a lost recording (a common issue with software solutions).
You can replace the iRiver with an good quality digital recorder. By good - it means it records 44.1 kHz sample rate and better than 192 kBps Bit rate.
This setup when recording skype to skype call gives better audio than the best phone hybird on the market.

Here is a sound file with various different recording methods - showing sound quality. The first one is skype to skype - then skype out to a cell phone, then a conference call in number, then live face to face.

ToolTip_Text not working in multi - record block - Please Help!!

Dear Friends & Gurus,
I'm using Forms Version 6.0.8.21.3 (due to many reasons) in C/S mode. Now I have a multi record block in which I am showing the Employee No. My customer's requirement is when I place the mouse on this Emp no., the emp. name must be displayed. I thought of achieving this by ToolTip_text. For this I'm having a Database function which returns the name (as I use this functionality in many forms), in the When-New-Item-Instance block level trigger I'm calling that function with passing the emp code as below
SET_ITEM_PROPERTY(:SYSTEM.CURSOR_ITEM, TOOLTIP_TEXT, FUNC_DIS_EMP_NAME(:SYSTEM.CURSOR_VALUE));But it is working only when I point the mouse in the first record. When I click on 3 or 4 record and then point to the first record, I'm getting the 3 record's name but in the first record.
Please help me - I searched through the forum and I find no accurate answer. It is urgent - please help.

Actually I'm having a multi record block in which all the emp no., days of attendance, etc will be displayed when I click on the search button. My requirement is when point the mouse over the emp no, the emp name must be displayed as a Tool tip text. My fields are non-editable, so Post-Change is not working. I placed the coding in the When-new-item-instance - in this case the emp name is displayed, but only for the first field, when I move the mouse to second and third fields, the empname of that particulart field is displayed as a tool tip but in the first field only.
Any other suggestions?
Anyway I would appreciate your help.

It says SEDG 720X480 2:1 Mono. Video came from Sd memory card taken with a Samsung Video Camera.
Strangely enough, as a FourCC, SEDG is defined as "MPEG-4 hardware and software codec used in Samsung digital video products." Not a Windows or Samsung camcorder user but THIS WEB PAGE may be of some assistance.
Also I will need to view a CD recorded by the same camera (DVD-RW) file extensions are VIDEO_RM.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO, VIDEO_TS.VOB, SAMSUNG.IFO So far these files don't open even with Windows Media.
I don't know what to do to be able to open up these files save them on my Hard drive and then be able to upload them to YouTube. Any Ideas?
IFO files tell how the video content is segmented and where the video data is located. BUP files contain back-up IFO information. VOB files contain actual multipled audio/video data. A DVD formatted to play in a commercial DVD player normally contains a series of files named "VTS##_#.VOB" where ## refers to the "title" series and "_#" (where # is not a zero) refers to the order in which the video title file data is played.
Again, I am neither a Windows user nor an athority on Samsung VIDEO_RM folder structures. However, if your disc contains both a VIDEO_RM and VIDEO_TS folder, then I would normally assume the VIDEO_RM folder is present for legacy purposes and/or to provide information about the refording device while the VIDEO_TS folder actually contains the video object (VOB) file data. In any case, as I am not familiar with what software is available for muxed MPEG-2/AC3 editing/conversion on a Windows platform, I would try viewing the VOB files in an application like MPEG Streamclip (free). If you can play the Audio and video content (be sure to read the MPEG Streamclip requirements regarding codec installation), then you can edit (merge and/or trim) the raw data and convert it to a format compatible for YouTube uploading. (I.e., MPEG Streamclip is commonly used on the Mac for this type of work flow and the app is also available for Windows use.)

Itunes 11.1 is for your computer, not your iphone
It is required in order to sync with ios 7.

Welcome to the Apple community.
If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact AppleCare, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.
Upon receipt of the email, use the reset link provided to reset your password, after which you should be able to make the adjustments to iCloud that you wish to do.

If your account is disabled you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your iPhone and iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Storeand then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it.
For your security questions, if you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) on your account then the steps half-way down this page will give you a reset link on your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

How to reset your Apple ID security questions.
Go to appleid.apple.com, click on the blue button that says 'Manage Your Apple ID'.

Go to the Password & Security section on the left side, and click on the link underneath the security questions that says 'Forgot your answers? Send reset security info email to [email]'.
