Quicktime standalone launches, but Itunes STILL WONT LAUNCH!!!!!!!!!! HELP!
okay i have tried everything and i am very very frustrated! I have follwoe every instruction on here and still cant get itunes 7 to work! it would be great to use my brand new ipod.
I downloaded quicktime standalone and that finalyl works but I tunes still will have not launch. when i click on the icon, nothing happens...
someone help ASAP!!!!!!!!
i did the whole task Manager thing and yes...it disappears after a few seconds
okay. that's pointing more towards a malware problem than a security software interference problem.
i'd like to have a look at the contents of your Startup tab in MSCONFIG, to see if that shows signs of malware on your PC.
go "start > run". type in MSCONFIG and hit enter. click on the Startup tab, and post back with a list of all the items you have showing up in your Startup tab. exact seppling and capilisation please.

I downloaded Quicktime but iTunes still wont open
I accidentally removed Quicktime from my programs list because I didn't know that I needed it to run iTunes. so I went online and downloaded it and iTunes still wont open. Saying that: "Quicktime was not found!" and "Please reinstall iTunes" so I re-downloaded iTunes and I'm still getting the same message.
How do I get QuickTime back on my programs list?
Is re-downloading QuickTime a wast of time?
What am I doing wrong?
I can sit here and download it all day its not going to change anything?If you just deleted QT from C:\Program Files you may be able to restore it from the Recycle Bin. If you used the add/remove control panel, you probably want to use it again. And then download a new iTunes QT installer

It is normal for the computer to recognize the iPod as a camera since thatis how one gets photos and videos off the iPod. -

Since you are using one of the the school's Macbooks, it is quite possible that the time and date are not properly set on the computer that you are using. FaceTime will not work if you do not have the proper time zone set up for the location that you are in. This past week, there were a two other Macbook users I've helped by simply telling them to set the Date/Time properly. By the way, you described your problem very well, which makes it easier for us to help you. Hope this solves your problem -- if not, post back and I can suggest other remedies.

itunes isnt download onto my computer. I've tried uninstalling everything that itunes has installed on my computer, downloaded itunes again but it still wont install on my computer.
So which is it, iTunes will not download or will not install? They are two seperate processes.
No one can offer relevant solutions if the user cannot or will not clarify what the issue truly is. -
Sometimes I cannot bring up iTunes when I click on the icon. Have even gone to the START Menu and clicked on that icon but it still wont work. The only way I can fix it.....sometimes.....is if I reboot. Please help me 8-) Thanks

My ipad 2 wont turn on, its just a blank screen. I have had it charging but it still wont turn on. It also isnt being recognised by itunes. I have updated itunes and everything. it doesnt even say its charging or connecting to itunes, its just a black screen. ive tried pressing down on the buttons but nothing happened.
Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

my iphone 3gs is charging on the wall charger but wont charge on the pc, have cleaned it, yet it can sync and update with itunes easily, but it still wont charge, have tried several cables as well same effect.
1) authorize iTunes on your wife's user account for her iTunes store account(s)
2) connect the device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred her purchases in the previous step, your content will be in her library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it. -

Try to force quit the app
Double tap the home button. When you see the app previews on the screen scroll sideways if needed to get the preview in question on the screen. Flick that preview up and off the screen to close the app. Single tap the home button or home screen preview to exit the mode. -
my new iphone 5 is frozen, with the cord to computer symbol on the screen after failing to finish updating to ios 7. iTunes no longer sees the phone. I've tried rebooting the computer, rebooting the iPhone, but iTunes still doesn't see the iPhone.
If your computer doesn't see the phone when you plug it in, you may have to take it to an Apple Store.

I'm not sure if it charged when I hooked it up to my roommate's computer, but it definately didn't register either. If I put it on the dock it plays so the port is fine, but that still doesn't help me sync it to my computer. -
I have matched my music library but iTunes still takes up a major portion of my hard drive
i have matched my itunes library but itunes still is taking up a big chunk of my hard drive. i want to get rid of it but want access to my cloud library of course. am afraid to just delete the library as it exists now. simply put i just want to clear up space and still have access to my library in the cloud.

Make a backup of it first.

Delete songs from your computer and uncheck Also delete this song from iCloud.
