"Quicktime Streaming failed to load because it is already loaded"

Since I installed iTunes and Quicktime I get this error message every time I access Apple.com and everytime I change the page while in Apple.com, everytime I invoke my photoviewer software, and everytime I start iTunes. Sometimes when I acknowledge the message all of the MS internet explorer windows I have open all close. I've unistalled quicktime and reinstalled with the same results. It's very agravating and time consuming.
Anyone know how to fix this?

I get this error message every time I access Apple.com
By any chance, do you have Kaspersky security software installed on the PC?
If so, see the following document:

• "Quicktime Failed to Load Because it was already loaded" box, constantly appears while starting up firefox4

Ever since installing Firefox4, every time i load it up and shut it down i get multiple "Quicktime Failed To Load because It Has Already Been Loaded" messages.
Nothing else is running that requires quicktime to be running, it has only started since installing FireFox4.
Is there a way to fix this?

Hi.
No replies?
Can anyone help with this at all, Please?
Or, can anyone help in pointing me towards somewhere/someone who may be able to help please.
I'm desperate. I would be grateful for any guidance.

• QuickTime Streaming failed to load because it was already loaded

Does anyone else get this message all off the time. It is really annoying. Any insight as to what it is and how to eliminate it. I really like Quicktime overall.

Actually, everyone gets this message all of the time. Okay, not everyone. But there are a LOT of people who get this message all of the time. I have found it all over the web.
Unfortunately no one has a good reason WHY they are getting this message or a way to fix it. You just get the usual garbage about why you should switch to a Mac. I'm beginning to think that is why they generate this message. But what do you expect with free software?
If I find an answer to this annoying problem I will post it here and everywhere.

• Error: QuickTime Streaming failed to load because it is already loaded

This error message repeats continously. Any suggestions?

I have struggled with the same problem for the last few years and could not find any adequate answers. Being a person who likes to run his PC clean and mean, I had stopped all those Apple Itunes / Quicktime applets and deleted Itunes application as I preferred other Media players & converters. Recently my Nokia 6300 phone suite would send me the same error every song I moved from PC to phone. The clue was that I had chosen Optimised AAC format instead of stock standard MP3. Working on this hunch, I re-activated Apple's Software Update from the Scheduled Tasks items of Control Panel to update Quicktime, Itunes and Safari. Now I have AppleMobileDeviceService.exe, iPodService.exe, iTunesHelper.exe all running and I do not get the error anymore. There is also the Bonjour (DNSResponder.exe) service to be considered. See:-

• Error message when opening itunes, quicktime streaming failed to load...

I downloaded itunes, installed it, and when I try to open I get the message "quicktime streaming failed to load because it was already loaded" Then it closes. Anyone know what's going on?

okay ... let's try a careful standalone QT 7.1 reinstall.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.1 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.
Quicktime 7.1 Standalone Installer
if that install goes through okay, does your itunes launch properly again?
(if you get an error message on the QT standalone reinstall, let us know what it says. include error message numbers if you're getting any.)

• "QuickTime Streaming Failed to Load. . . . ." error pop up

Hi all,
I recently did the automatic upgrade for QuickTime after it asked if I wanted to download & install it. Ever since that time, whenever I load a program that requires QT, an error pop up comes on the screen that says "QuickTime Streaming failed to Load Because it was Already Loaded".
This error pops up even though no other program is using QT and QT has not been started separately. Now if I click on the pop up's "Okay", the program will go ahead and start. It's just a pain to have that popping up all the time now.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Jerry

• "Quicktime Streaming failed to load because of an unknown error"

iTunes and Quicktime will not load, install, or uninstall because of at some point the popup message "Quicktime Streaming failed to load because of an unknown error" appears. Succesive reboots and removal of SpyBot (which may have denied access to Quicktime because of a registry setting, which of course may still be the cause of the problem...) have not fixed the problem. Any ideas?

• I cannot load google chrome. It worked fine then I got a an error page saying it cannot load because of a problem. When I attempted to reload, it said it cannot load because it was already running.

Now I cannot get any of my other sites because they are all under the google chrome. I can get into each by first opening safari, but I cannot print wirelessly, or get my email w/o first going thru all these extra clicks.

Hi!
It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

• I try to go to certain websites that I've had no problem going to before, and suddenly, it says, "Page cannot complete because the server is loading in such a way that it will never complete." I've tried erasing my cookies, and it still persists. Help!

I tried going to a site that I've never had problems loading before, and suddenly it says, "Page cannot load because the server is loading in such a way that it will never complete." or something along those lines. I've tried clearing my cookies, but the problem persists. Help!

If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file cookies.sqlite that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete cookies.sqlite-journal and cookies.txt, if they exist, in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

• MacBook Windows7 install failing - ntkrnlpa.exe - "Windows failed to load because the kernel is missing, or corrupt."

Trying to do BootCamp Windows-7 install on my MacBook (running 10.5.x).
Detailed progress notes here. Latest: "Windows failed to load because the kernel is missing, or corrupt." (ntkrnlpa.exe) Hit `Enter` to continue, make next selection, but it comes back to error message. So shut down (power button) then reboot with Windows DVD still in there. Ended up with same error!

Best thing to do is nuke the drive, then reinstall Vista again.
I know this is a long process but should get you back running again.
Linux makes odd partitions that recovery does not understand and they don't get deleted properly, boot and nuke will take care of that.

• Quicktime wont load because the installer thinks I have a newer level quicktime installed already.

quicktime wont load because the installer thinks I have a newer level quicktime installed already. Thus the newest level of iTunes and quicktime will not install, help... Thanks.

Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (The results from mydigitallife and Major Geeks are worth checking.)
After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any QuickTime entries and click "Remove".
Restart the PC, and try another install. Does it go through properly this time?

• Internet connection breaks while loading a QuickTime-Stream

I'm not able to watch a QuickTime-Stream. The video seems to load forever and while loading my interntet connection on my Mac mini breaks. Same situation on any other computer at home. I fear there's a problem with my router. Can you help me?

Definitely has to do with the iPhone. Haven't left it connected lately and have not experienced any connection problems at all. The model is 837jp. I'm not worried about it now that I know what is causing it. I'll just charge the phone with the power outlet and only connect it when backing it up. Problem solved. Thanks, PC Tester, for your help.
