Quota credit on 1st of calendar year for existing employees and for new joinees on prorata basis

Dear All,
we are having an issue in quota generation, where casual leave quota should get credited on 1st of every calendar year and for mid month joiners on prorate basis. If we select calendar year it is crediting on 31st of calendar year, but we need it to be credited on 1st of January and also checking the prorate condition for new joiners.
So please guide on whether it is possible through standard or any work around solution. If so how can it be achieved.

- Validity/deduction interval
- Validity period for default values

Team Calendar Iview showing all employees absent for every day?

We're using r/3 4.7, ESS 50.4 and MSS 60.1.20. The team calendar displays with all employees absent for every day. Clearly, this is not correct.
Is there extra config to be done or something that we are missing?

There is a world of information in these forums if you use the search function near the top right of this page. Just type in NAS for example and you get many threads on the subject (marked with a green checkmark if it solved the question) another example would be Airport Exterme and sound system. Once you formulate your ideas better then specific questions can be addressed one at a time. You may find that a less expensive choice for a server might be a mac mini. Why such sorry sound quality on iTunes? On some of my purchases the sound level is suppressed on the audio. On others the volume is so low that if I have it set for another song and a new one starts I have to increase the volume to hear it.

There is so much distortion on some of the music I have to play it with QuickTime to get a "clean" track.

For one transaction you will have to build your bdc table according to the recording for that transaction and then call that transaction using the bdc table. For another transaction , you will again have to build the bdc table with the details of that transaction.
You cannot call all at one shot.

Can we delete canceled messages directly in XI wihtout archiving them ?

I can't speak for all, and I havn't tested this feature yet, but for me theoretically the Auto-Install feature is the best feature which affects both end users and developers. It makes the requirement of having webstart for an application much less of a pain. And for the end user, the less they have to click on the better.
Right up there with the Auto-Install would be the SSL abilities, places I have my webstart application installed there have been many concerns voiced about having to open more than just the SSL port on their firewall to the outside world so that people can get access to the application. This one lets end users sleep more secure and developers catch less grief :)

Maintain number range interval for master data upload for existing employee

Hi Experts,
1)I have the scenario to upload additional data for existing employees in PA. Employees are already existed in SAP HR , But additional Infotypes are required to maintain for those emploees
2) I have the senario where i have to upload master data for new employees.
Pls give the detailed description of how to maintain number range interval i.e. External or Internal for upload in both the above scenario. Do we have to maintain number range manually in master data record & then upload it Through BDC or LSMW?

Yes Mr. Patil...
For existing employees
you need to execute HIRING ACTION Through BDC with External number range. While recording you have to use atleast three infotype i.e. IT0000,IT0001,IT0002. In addition you can upload other infotype through PA30.
For new employees
While configuration you can create another number range as internal for new hiring. and use NUMKR feature as well.
Here I don't understand that why r u looking for upload process for new hiring, if it is not mass hiring. It should be day to day activities which would be done by user through PA40.
