Quota generation after organizational reassignment

Hi all:
Has anyone come across the issue below? If so, what steps did you take to remedy this?
We generate quotas via RPTIME00. The main issue is that after an org. change, once time evaluation processes on the day of the accrual (in the new PSG), the employee errors out in time evaluation with the following error, "Error entry no.83 Error when creating absence quota. A complex application error has occurred".
This is because in the old PSG the employee had absence quota types 01, 02, 03, 04. Under the new PSG, the employee has different absence quotas types because their entitlements are different based on seniority.
For example, in the old PSG, the quota 01 will be used for service years 1 - 3. In the new PSG, quota 01 will be used for service year 1, quota 2 for service year 2, and so on. Because they are still in the
same service year when the org. change takes place, the system errors out in the new PSG because it is reading quota 01 (old PSG) and it should be generating accrual for quota 02 in the new PSG.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi:
Upon the assignment to the new PSA, the system recognizes the change and processes the new quota selection rules.  However, because the validity period still exists prior to the date of the transfer the error message in time evaluation occurs because technically it cannot create the new quota type with those groupings for the employee prior to them transferring to the new PSA.
How can the start of the validity period in the new PSA be changed to the transfer date?

    We have an issue with quota generation of PTO for our employees.
    The issue goes like this:
    We have a Paid time off for employees 5weeks( 200 hrs) for employees who have worked less than 5 years.
    we have  paid time off for employees 6 weeks ( 240 hrs) for employees who have worked more than 5 years.
    we have the following logic that has to go in this config:
    -- Our fiscal year starts on Feb 1st and ends on Jan end or Feb starts which has a full week of working days. ( ex: if 01/31/2012 falls on a Thursday the following Monday which has full 5 day working week would be the end of the fiscal year).
    -- Depending on the working hours of  the employees and the date of joining for the first year ( for new hires)0041 info type the eligibility gets varied and reduced. Ex( employees who joins on start of fiscal year and works 40hrs per week schedules is eligible for 200hrs of PTO. Employees who join in the month of august and works for 35 hrs per week ( i.e mid of fiscal year) would get 91 hrs of PTO.
    I need to put this in the system. I am thinking this could be done with out tweaking PCR.I need help in configuring this in Absence quotas as to what are the things i need change in system config and how do i do it. Please help with some screen shots if possible.  I really need this to get it done ASAP. Looking forward for help.

    We use TM00 schema. Can i call TS15 and TS 12  rules into TM00 acheieve my issue of quota entilements?
    Iam doing this because my businees needs to see if an employee chages his work schedule from 40 to 30 or 20 etc.. the PTO has to vary accordingly.
    As the minimum eligibility is to work for 20 hrs to avail the PTO days. If at any point the employee drops it under 20 he will not be eligible till he work any this >= 20hrs per month so the evaluation has to check periodically to update the quota availability.... I need help plz suggest ...

    Dear Experts,
    Can anybody help me out with Compensatory quota generation concept?what is the  main purpose...?
    Employee working on weekly off and holidays,  are eligible for compensatory off.?Then how compensatory quota generation take place  in negative time management if there is no time recording ?how it will update for   each financial year?
    What are the config steps required or there are standard reports...or program?

    Hi,
    If you are not using time evaluation then it is not possible to generate COFF, how will the system know weather the employee is at work or not?

  • Quota generation in IT2006

    Hello Experts.
    need your help in this issue, i am running time evaluation with schema ZM00 where annual leave quota is generated with TE.
    my problem here is that the quota is being generated on a monthly basis with 1.25 day/month and it is showing in the "Accrual Information" in the Time Management Pool in PT40, but when displaying the quota in IT2006, the add up of the quota generation is different.
    please advise.

    TE is running on a daily basis.
    my problem is that the Accrual entitlements are being generated correctly but they are not adjusting the IT2006.
    what would prevent the accrual entitlements from being automatically updated in IT2006. I checked the the following date in SPRO and it is correct:
    Time Management- Time Data Recording and Administration- Managing Time Accounts Using Attendance/Absence Quotas- Calculating Absence Entitlements-- Automatic Accrual of Absence Quotas--- Permit Generation of Quotas in Time Evaluation

    The client Scenario is that they want Earned leaves (absence Quota type 0002 and 0003) and Half-Pay leave (Absence Quota 0004) semi-annually.
    Whenever an action is run (whether with employee status active or inactive) the absence quota is generated twice:
    1.     Last day of previous action
    2.     Last day of evaluation period.
    Main issue is that when it is reflected in IT-2006 it is summing up the quota generated on both the above said dates.
    Also the quota that is generated on the last day of the evaluation period is not prorated but for the entire accrual period.
    When the employment status of an action is inactive; the quota is generated upto the last date of previous active action, but if any other action is executed with employee status as u201Cactiveu201D in the same accrual period and time evaluation is run; the quota gets generated again on the last date of accrual period for the entire accrual period i.e. the inactive period is also taken into consideration. Moreover, both the quota generated are added up and displayed in IT-2006.
    Kindly advice me the solution for the same.

  • Absence quota generation with PCR in Time Evaluation

    Dear All,
    I am generation absence quota Annual leave = 50 through PT60- ZM04. Its daily calculation and transfered at the month end.
    The quota entitlement is 30 days per year.
    I have written this pcr. Have configured a time type too. but not sure why its not generating any quota.
    The time type I have configured is:
    Time Type: 0097
    Save as day balance - No Formation
    Save as period balance - 1
    Store for time accounts - 1
    Have assigned the time type 0097 in Base entitlement for Absence quota generation as Day Balance and even in generation rules.
    Have placed the PCR with ACTIO Z003 before CUMBT fucntion.
    The PCR Z003 is:
    000010 D HRS?0
    000020 *
    000030 = D OUTAQTYP
    000040 = **
    000050 = 50 Z GCY ZQTY
    PCR ZQTY is:
    000010 D OUTWPMOLGA
    000020 **
    000030 99 HRS=FR50C ADDDB0097Z ADDDB0097 HRS=D0097
    I didnt mention anywhere in configuration or PCR that its 30 days per year.
    Do I need to do this?
    Have I missed out anything, please help me.

    Hi,
    This you can do through config also without using PCR.
    Base entitlement is 30 for calender year. Selection rule- Accrual period is daily and transfer time is time evaluation period.
    Use appropriate rounding rule in selection rule.

  • Absence quota zero after Time Evaluation

    We are generating Absence quota automatically after Time evaluation. But CL/PL/SL leave quota generated is zero after TE.
    Even I am not able to edit Absence quota(IT2006) manually or through IT2013.
    Please guide me, what needs to be done.

    Thanks for your response. No am not able to simulate the situation, it happen just once in PRD server.
    I do agree that some one might have chaned the value. But if the quota is generated by time evaluation then you cannot changed the record directly in infotype (2006). Time evaluation generated quota can be changed on through infotype 2013.
    I do request all the expert please share your thoughts.  Please do let me know what could be the problem here.

  • Advice needed for using date type in leave quota generation.

    Requirement:   Seniority for quota generation of long service leave must be based on date "02" in IT0041.
    Although all the relevant config has been done using the date type 02, the quota is still being generated based on date type 01. 
    My Question:  What is required to make this scenario work?

  • Two retriggerable pulse generations after a pulse train generation

    I am trying to generate 3 pulse trains (ABCABCABC...) one after another.
    The program currently I am using generates 2 pulse trains (ABABAB.....).
    I am using the Traditional NI-DAQ and PCI-6602.
    I am thinking about using pulse train generation first and then retriggerable pulse generation after that.
    I understand that the retriggerable pulse generation can generate a pulse train triggered (or gated) by other counter output.
    I have attached a test vi.
    It uses the pulse train generation code when the counter number is 0 and when the counter number is not 0, then it uses the retriggerable pulse generation code, which I tried to modify from the pulse train generation code.
    First of all, I am not sure if I wrote the retriggerable pulse generation code correctly.
    Secondly, I don't know if the whole code will generate ABCABCABC...
    I would really appreciate your help.

    I believe I may have misunderstood your original concern.  It sounds like you want to output this finite pulse train on three different counters.  You will output these pulse trains for 10 minutes and cease your program.  The Finite Pulse Train.vi will output a pulse train from only one counter.  With this Traditional DAQ example you would need to have three of these Finite Pulse Train.vi programs running simultaneously in parallel to output from 3 counters.  I would strongly recommend using DAQmx for this application because you will only need to utilize 4 VIs.  The rest of the work is done behind the scenes.  There is an example in DAQmx which should accomplish exactly what you are looking for in one program.  You must make sure to make the number of pulses 2000000, the duty cycle as 1/3 and the frequency as 1/(300us).  The DAQmx driver can found here.  In terms of the counters, I believe that each task requiring two counters will use the counter adjacent to it.  If you would like to output on counter 0 using finite generation then counter 1 will be used as the gating counter.  When you have the DAQmx driver then you can find this example by selecting Help>>Find Examples and then expanding Hardware Input and Output>>DAQmx>>Generating Digital Pulses>>Gen Dig Pulse Train-Finite.vi.  I have included an image to show how the front panel of this example should be configured to work.  The major note to make is that you will need to configure all of the counters in the channel names list.  In Traditional DAQ this did not seem possible.  In Traditional DAQ you would need to create a subvi out of the Finite Pulse Train.vi run three copies of it, in parallel, in a larger program.  Please let me know if you will be able to utilize DAQmx in this application.

  • Excess archive generation after migration

    Am facing large size of archive generation after my migration to 11.2.0.1 from 10.2.0.1 in windows 32 bit.
    While I was using 10g my total archive size in a day was only 10GB. now after the migration its coming al most 50gb.
    Guys.. can anybody let me know what i need to do to reduce my archive generation?
    Am using the same application and queries as in 10g.

    Or learn how to read documentation and how to administer Oracle.
    Or read up on the differences between 11gR2 and 10gR2.

           for the organization reeassingment you need to perfrom the action for the employee by useing T.code pa40.
    and you have to create the action
    1. copy the all infotypes (infotypes which you maintain previously for that employee )
    2. user group ,
    run the action,
    RupaPrasad.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
    If this doesn't help then I suspect your Apple TV has failed.

    Please check note 116007 "PG162: Organizational reassignment not possible".
    To eliminate this error message, I would ask you to run the report RPUPAV00 for all employees. Please read also the documentation of report RPUPAV00 at first.This report was created to handle the reported
    problem.
    Please also read carefully the documentation of feature IVWID. Probably you are using different view indicators, e.g. for varying personnel areas.
    Program RPUPAV00 is setting the view indicator (VIEKN) on the basis of the  IVWID configuration.
    The conversion should work correctly and afterwards no PG162 message should occur any more. You can check afterwards via transaction SE16, table PA0003 if the view indicators have been changed.
    With regard to running RPUPAV00, if you do not have feature IVWID defined properly, the program likewise will not update VIEKN.

    Hi Gurus,
    please help me in solving the following issue.
    12 leave quota is generated for the employees after they  had completed  working for 240 days (weekly-off and Public holiday's are excluded) and after that every 12 days of working days he will get one additional leave.
    we are using both Positive and negative Time Evolution and no CATS is used.
    how to do the configuration for the above ..please help me out.

    You have to use Postive time evaluation .. and can maintain dates for IT 19  after 240 days after joining dates and that date types u can have in the generation of Quota..

  • Absence quota addition after Time Evaluation

    Hi Experts,
    This is regarding Time Evaluation.
    Time Evaluation Configuration is fine. Absence quota is getting generated in days.
    But while adding to the previous balance it's treated as hours and the net balance is coming as hours.
    Example, Absence quota from previous year = 15 hrs
                    Quota generated = 0.77 days
                   After generation the total is 15 + 0.77 = 15.77 hours.

    Cause :
    Actually the employee had moved from one Personnel area to another but due to the settings same Absence quota was applicable to the employees in both cases.
    Now i am not able to delimit the record in 2006 from transfer date.
