Quries Regarding EBS

Hi,
I uploaded the EBS through TCode: FF_5( MT940 unstructured format),but my problem is that it is not updating the main bank account & how to clear open items for related documents.
In our case the uploaded file is updating the Table FEBKO field HKONT updating (G/L account for Main Bank) but on Table FEBEP not updating the Field BELNR & ZUONR (No entry found).

How to download Oracle EBS patch to import source file into FDQM

Hello Experts,
I am not able to find patches for importing source file from Oracle EBS into FDQM.Actually I have HFM,FDQM,ESSBASE,Planning,erp,epm,calculationManager in my virtual machine.I didn't Install Oracle EBS
Please tell me how to import source file from Oracle EBS like Flatfile from HFM into FDQM and share me what I need to install regarding EBS to Import and register the EBS adapters.It's urgent please share asap.

There are not any EBS Adapters for FDM.
If you are just importing a source file from EBS, you would need to setup an import format to parse the source file in FDm and then assign the import format to the location that will be used to load the target system and run the import process.
If you are looking to pull directly from EBS, you would need to use ERP Integrator (ERPi) to connect to oracle EBS and then use the ERPI adpater in FDM to pull the data from ERPI into FDM.
Can you be specific on what you are looking to do?

Oracle Integration Adapter for SAP R/3

I am working with a customer implementing Oracle EBS Release 12.2.
The customer has implemented SAP for financial modules and the oracle solution considers an EBS - SAP Integration for Receivables. Does anyone have any experience integrating Oracle EBS Receivables with SAP? Can you give us some guidance regarding EBS - SAP Integration best practices?
We have found a paper regarding Oracle Integration Adapter for SAP R3. We would like to have some information about what are the Oracle products we can integrate with SAP using Oracle Integration Adapter for SAP R3.
In case Oracle EBS can integrate with SAP using Oracle Integration Adapter, we would like to know if anyone has experience integrating Oracle EBS Receivables with SAP using Oracle Integration Adapter for SAP R3 for AR transactions and Receipts?
Any help would be very much appreciated.

I wonder if it can really be due to privileges given to my account, which allows to connect thru SAP Front-end but does not allow to connect by any other means. I can not think of any other possible reason.

Object Services - Create Attachment ?????????

Hi Experts,
               I have some Quries regarding Object Services -
               1) I want to attach 1 file ( Excel or word) to the Maintenance Order when I create attachement through Object Service and attach a document to the Order will it attach the document (i.e. Stored on SAP Server) or only create a hyperlink of the Document attached.
               2) If it is creating only the link is there any other way to attach a PC file to Maintenance Order.
I hv not implemented DMS over here.
               3) Is there any customization required for the Object Services.

1 - its stored on the server, not as a hyperlink. For this reason you don't want to store immense amounts of data this way.
2 - DMS is the only other way I know of to attach documents. Many clients have set up a simple DMS config with PM being the only module using it.
3 - No config needed for object services.

HOW to create a function module ..... in abap

To Create Function Module first you need to create Function Group and Activate it.
First go to SE37 then
1. Goto>Function Groups>Create Group.
    Here you need to give Group name and Short Text of group.
2. After Creating Function Group again:
   Goto>Function Groups>Change Group.
   Enter your Function Group name and press enter.
   a dialog box will appear where you can see its status is inactive.
So, press <b>Main Program</b> Button and activate your function group.
NOW you Function Group is activated and and you can create Function Module in it.
Now Enter your Function Module Name and press create then
give your Function Group name in respective place and press enter.
Now you can give your Import/Export parameters and and if you want to use TABLES give it in TABLE section only not in Import/Export Parameters.
Then Write Logic in Source Code Tab and Activate it.

SAP WM -Stock Placement-Near Picking bin

Two quries
The scenario is -On receipt of stock need to first fill the Fixed bin in the Fixed storage type and if the capacity reached max in the fixed bin then the reserve bins in the reserve storage types are to be filled.
(1) I trying using Stock placement strategy for fixed storage type as "F" (fixed bin ) and in the reserve storage types as "K" (near picking bin).Defined Storage type search sequence first fixed and next reserve storage type.In the Near picking bin stock placement strategy activation expect "Search width per level" and "Assign shelves to the aisiles" all other configuraion are done.
Pls tell me the impact of using these two steps in detail. (a) Search width per level(b) Assign shelves to the aisiles .Is it mandatory to use this two steps for the near picking bin strategy .
(2) Is their any other solutions can be followed for the above said scenario.

Stoarge Type Stock palcment Strategy:Addition to exsisting Stock
SUT Active,SU Active ,Addition to exsisting stock Active
In Mixed stoarge :Mixed Storage Not Allowed.
(Mixed stoarage Type Indicator "A" is not allowed when we are using stock palcement startegy as 'Addition to exsisting stock").
Material we are not tracking by batch number ,but SLED will be maintained at the time of receipt.
When we receive New stock ,system is adding to the BIN which already has the same Material ,System is adding the new stock to the exsisting SU Number(Not creating the New SU Number) and SLED information even though different for the Incoming New stock ,system over writes with the exsisting stock SLED.
Pls help ,how to solve this

Centralize Requisition

Hi all,
I have the case that we do centralize purchase requisition.
Example: each person of different departments submit request to purchase to Purchasing dept. Here, the request will be checked (some general checking), then if it is okie, they will forward to appropriate manager (of each person who request)...
Can we set up this under the workflow or do we need to customize the workflow? Btw, regarding EBS 11i.

For your requirement, I believe iProcurement is the best solution.. You can do all procurement activities through one page of iProcurement instead of toggling between different options of standard Purchasing module.
Your question :
When Purchasing Dept qualifies, approved and forward to the manager for final approval, I have to input the name of the manager in. How to make it automatically? I have changed Forward Method (of document type to "Hierarchy") but still not get it automatically.
Ans : When you forward a PO/Requisition to someone for approval means oracle understand the person is not in the normal approval process and you are bypassing the normal approval hierarchy or Employee-Supervisor approval process.. It's a standard functionality of oracle that when you try to forward your PO/requisition to someone for approval you have to mention the name of the person..

Message type idoc type problems

Hi,
I'm facing a problem in idocs. I'm sending idocs with message type ORDRSP and idoc type ORDERS05, but for some reason in SAP, the idoc is always picking up a different message type ORDERS and the partner profile part is failing because my partner profile is set up for ORDRSP message type. Is there any setting or transaction that sets a default message type for an idoc type in SAP.

yes for the message type ordrsp the basic type is orders05.
u r telling ur geeting problem in inbound idoc?
if that is the case then u have to use in we20 inbound parameters and give the processcode(ORDE) there instead of basictype .CHECK the same and get back to me if any quries

I'm a newbie.
I just managed to install Oracle EBS 11.5.10.2 on a machine running on a RedHat Linux AS 3.0 (the installation was made without staging). I have two users: one for the database tier and one for the application tier. Everything went well (no errors).
I logged in to the Oracle Application Manager and I see that the Discoverer Web Component is up and running.
My question is: how do I check if Discoverer is running on my machine.
I also had some errors when running the $COMMON_TOP/admin/scripts/ISP_ispdevtst/adstrtal.sh script (./adstrtal.sh apps/apps):

Hello,
I cannot address your E-Business Suite (EBS) script errors. However, the OAD and Locator are present in the Discoverer 4.1 release. This release is very old and currently under sustaining support only. The latest release is 10.1.2.3 and this is the recommended Discoverer release.
There are many Notes regarding using Discoverer with EBS. Here are the Notes regarding EBS 11i and Discoverer.

How to hide some buttons like CREATE PURCHASE ORDER, COPY, EDIT from POWL?

In SRM 7 ECS we need to hide some buttons like CREATE PURCHASE ORDER, COPY, EDIT from POWL"s. We can do some manipulation via security but we need to make a few buttons invisible without security. Appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Below are the steps to Hide the buttons in POWL table
1. if you want to Gray out the Buttons
IMG > SRM SERVER> Cross Application Basic Settings --> Extensions and Field Control. There you will find a node to control Actions. based on the object type choose your option and make it as read only
To Make invisible
1.If you want to make invisible the button .
IMG > SRM SERVER> Cross Application Basic Settings --> Powl and Advance Search - > Adjust powl layout ,search criteria and push button (OR) t-code : /SAPSRM/POWL_CUST
2.choose the POWL type for the POWl table
3.click on Action node , you will find all the acction assigned for the POWL table ,delete the entry which you want to make invsible and save it
4 .Now run the report POWL_D01 and provide powl type in the selection criteria and deleate the catche quries

EBS어드온 플로그인 모듈을 설계를 했었는데요 .
설계만 하고 개발은 하지 않아서 구체적인 내용은 잘 모르겠지만요.
접할 때 첫느낌은 자바 자카르타 프로젝트의 액기스들을 오라클 이비에스에
맞게 짜놓은 프로그램이구나라는 느낌이 들었습니다. (물론 구체적인 흐름은 전혀 다르고요)
전체적으로 MVC모델에 근거해서
화면 구성은 UIX가 컨트롤러는 CO(컨트롤 오브젝트)가
모델러는 AM(application module ) , EO(entity object),VO(view object)가 주요하게 자리 잡고 있는 모습은 스트러츠나 스프링을 보는 듯했고
UIX라는 화면 구성 부분은 JSF의 느낌이랑 비슷하였고
엔티티 오브젝트는 하이버네이트 같은 느낌이 들었고요 ( O/R맵핑)
뷰오브젝트 value오브젝트를 연상시켰습니다.
이런 식으로 오라클이 자바 개발자들을 이비에스의 세계로 끌어 들이기 위해 야심차게 릴리즈한 것으로 알고 있습니다.
하지만 초창기 프레임워크인 만큼 제약이 좀 있더군요.
이런 부분은 사용자가 피드백을 해서 개선해 나가야 할 거라고 믿고 있습니다만...
그냥 간단하게나마 제 느낌을 이야기 드렸습니다.

CLM ( Contract lifecycle management

I have a few quries regarding CLM( Contract LifeCycle Management)
1) CLM is Standard module in SAP ECC 6.0.
2) if 'NO' what are the additional features with respect to standard Outline Agreement ( Contract/Scheduling Agreement)
3) If it is complete different module , how can we integrate?

ODI Solutions for release code

Hi Guys,
Got few quries regarding ODI Solutions and how to use them.
Once we finish our development can we used ODI Solutions to release the
code(scenarios) into TEST/PROD and at the same time we also need to release whole code into hotfix environment(development work repository).
The question is if there is an error in one of the interfaces we will fix the bug
in the development environment and if we want to sync development with hotfix,how can we do that using ODI Solutions?
do we need to build one more ODI Solution(whole project which includes the
changed interface) and import that into HOTFIX environment?
If it is yes,i have tried that but iam not getting that changed interface properly updated with the change?iam still having same old interface.any ideas? and how to appraoch this kind of scenario?
Any idea about this?

Hi,
personally i dislike ODI Solution. Historically they had got so many issue to trust them once more..
By the way, i face versioning duplicating the object and working on the copy. Remember that, if you restore a solution, any later development will be lost.
Another way, suggested me by my personal Guru is to use solutions, create another repo (called EMERGENCY REPO) and restore solutions into this repo to fix it.
