R/3 Hierarchies not displaying in Hiearchies selection ...help

i have another material related infoobject for which i want to use 0material Hierarchies from R/3 in BI7. for this i created infosource and all. but when i create infopackage i am unable to see the 0material hierarchies thers. error saying it can not find the datasource in Infosource. i am not sure if i am missing any steps in BI7..?
i see r/3 hierarchies DS and not sure if i missing any step?

are you seeing the specific hierarchy you want in BW data sources. If not then activate them in R/3 and then replicate your source system. then you might find it. you have to also assign the Data source to the info source but if ur using BI then there is no need to use info source. Use transformations.

I am trying to using a Bex query that has a cost center hierarchy with a variable that allows users to select specific nodes or even cost centers. In BEx reports, this query works fine and gives the users the view of the cost centres in a hierarchial manner. However, in Crystal reports, the query provides a drop down menu displaying a simple list of all the cost centres (not in a hierarchial manner). This confuses the user as to which element is a node and which is a cost centre
Kindly suggest how can we achieve the cost centre hierarchy to appear in the parameters in Crystal.

RH7- Insert action does not display window to select the file.

I have a nightmare situation with RH7 with no clue to resolve. What are my options to fix this
I am having trouble with robohelp, selecting insert action does not display the pop up window. This prevents functions such as inserting images & files, importing files and creating hyperlinks to documents created in word, frame maker.
when I perform this action, the pop up window appears virtually but is not visible to make the selection and RH freezes.
I have to end the process or press esc to find some work around - so far none available
Please help.

Welcome to the community.
Have you recently gone from a dual monitor setup to a single monitor? When this happens, RH can sometimes keep tossing dialog boxes over where it thinks the second monitor is. I typically use a program called ForceWindowVisible (get it here) to push wandering dialogs back into view. Give that a try and see if it works. Hope this helps,

Proposal list not displayed correctly when selected with a layout

Dear All
I have an issue with payment proposal list.
When i select EDit tab on F11o and click on proposal list, i can see the proposal list for all company codes selected in parameters.When i click on change layout the system asks me maintain variant and when i click on yes it shows me the list only for one company code.
the new layout only shows me list for exception items and does not include payment proposal items from another company code...
can somebody please help

Early implementations of the POJO Factory set the default display size to 12, which caused corruption in the display starting from the 12th character when the size exceeded the display size.
Would you try specifying the MemberColumnDisplaySize property for that column in POJOResultSetFactory to reflect the actual size?

Cost Center Group Hierarchy not displayed in infopack selection

Hi All,
Suddenly my cost center hierarchy load failed with error "No Hier Selections". When i checked inside the infopackage selection, i was unable to find my cost center i was not able to see even after refreshing the r/3 hierarchy. I checked in RSA6 also but i still could not find that particular hierarchy.
I thought the hierarchy would have changed, so i checked in R/3 and the Hierarchy is visible by transaction code KSH3.
I want to load this hieararch to BW.. i am not able to see in infopack..
Kindly suggest and help.

Under 0Costcenter, replicate datasource 0COSTCENTER_0101_HIER...
In the infopackage, under "Hierarchy Selection" tab, click 'Available Hierarchies from OLTP" button. Here check weather u can see that hierarchy

After logging into Financal Management Desktop when a user tries to extract Metadata the Browse icon does not open the open files dialog box.I tried the following steps.
1)logged into the HFM in the citrix environment on production , opened the HFM Win 32 client connected to the application, tried to Extract the metadata clicked on the search icon, it doesn't display the windows search dialog box.
2) logged into the HFM in the citrix environment on Test , opened the HFM Win 32 client connected to the application, tried to Extract the metadata clicked on the search icon, it displays the windows search dialog box.
3) Gave the security permissions to the HFM folder as Everyone still the same issue.
4) Gave the security permissions to the HFM folder as Anonymous still the same issue.
NOTE: HFM 9.3.1.1.00 INSTALLED IN THE CITRIX ENVIRONMENT
can some one advise me on this issue.

Pages menus not displayed in language selected in system prefs

OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5, latest and greatest iWork.
I set Czech at the top of the list in International and Text under System Preferences, but Pages menus still appear in English, any thoughts?

Pages has not been updated for so long that it is still only localized in 18 languages, compared to 30 for OS X and many other apps.

Regarding "New Tab Page" - dragging a bookmark from the libary does not display when "+" is selected

It's maddening that I can't fix something so simple.
When I click on the "+" a new page opens with unpopulated entries for websites. I've tried the steps in "New Page Tab" and managed to drag and drop a bookmark from my "library".
The prompts look OK but the site does not appear in the vacant entry box. It looks like it should work. Is there a simple (stupid) step that I'm missing?

I want to choose what appears in the 9 boxes on the new tab screen. Why can't I click an empty box and enter the web address to be used for that box. Even if it did work, drag and drop a terrible way to do this. "Bookmarks-Add to new tabs" would be a 2 click operation. Instead some developer wanted to play with drag and drop and got it wrong. I suggest adding the simple functionality first and experiment with drag an drop later.
Also it is suggested that add-ons could stop the functionality from working. This is like saying your car won't start if you put a passenger in it. I'd guess someone just made that suggestion to try to be helpful rather than out of any actual experience of it fixing this problem.

Area Chart not displaying correct data - please help

Hello, I am new to Crystal Reports so any help would be greatly appreciated! I have a report that counts incidents for each hour in a 24 hour period. When I graph the results, the first line of the graph is wrong, but the rest of the graph is correct. I don't understand why the first line is not charting what the amounts were calculated to be. The hour ranges are in military time (x-axis) and the count is the y-axis. I am using the Area chart.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The report first shows the list of totals.
          Acuity 1      Acuity 2     Acuity 3     Acuity 4     Acuity 5         Total
0:00     0.00             11.00        21.00           9.00         0.00               41.00

And then graphs the chart into an area graph. I recreated the report using the report wizard and now, the first item in the list will be a duplicate of some other time (no reason on why it chooses the one it does). So for instance, this report date range will first show:
19:00           0.00               7.00       39.00             8.00            0.00         54.00
20:00
21:00
22:00
23:00
0:00
1:00
and so on. When it gets to 19:00, it is the same data line as the first one. The report should start at 0:00 and go through 23:00 (midnight hour to 11:00 pm). The wierd thing is that when the chart graphs, it will put the first line item in the report as 0:00 (in this case it's plotting the 19:00 line item in the 0:00 spot) and then the remainder of the hours is plotted correctly.
I did check and I do have it switching by hour. Sorry if this is confusing. I tried to attach the actual report, but I don't have rights to do that.

Images will not display in website please help

im using dreamweaver cs5. My custom images created in photoshop and saved as jpg will not upload into my website. i get a white box with a red x on the corner. I do have my images in my images folder in my loca files and in my local image folder. It gives me an error saying that i might not have permission or images not in folder. Can some one help?

As to your question, ensure you are running dreamweaver as administrator if you are using windows.
Also check that the file paths in your html refer to your images folder as defined in your site definition.

When trying to turn on photo stream the option is not checkable?

Where are you trying to check it? In System Preferences on a Mac? On a PC?

CR2 thumbnails not displaying in finder please HELP!

I am running Yosemite 10.10.1 and can no longer view my CR2 files in finder (all views), displaying as a blank only. This started about a week ago and as yet I haven't found a fix. Any help greatly appreciated. TIA.

Rollover image not displaying second image, please help me

Hello,
I am trying to get 4 buttons on my page to display one image and then when a mouse rollsover to display a second image. I have created 8 images. 2 for each of the 4 buttons.

Here is my page. The 4 buttons I am concerend with are the "questions, manuels brochure, news" at the bottom. The image displayed is the first image the second "rollover" image is the same except our logo turns red.
I placed them by using insert, image objects, rollover image. I pointed the first to the image that you are seeing and the "rollover image" to the red version. The first image shows up fine. The second never shows up? Can anyone tell me why? What am I doing wrong?
