R/3 Masta Data downloaded in CRM keeps being duplicated

Hello goup.
CRM version 4.0
The only master record we download from R/3 to CRM is the Employee Personal Number (field: PERNR).
The employee number when downloaded in CRM is called business partner. And there are some business partner that keeps being duplicated in CRM.
Details: The download from R/3 to CRM is done by a job that runs a standard program: RDBMIDOC.
1) Does anyone knows anything about that? What should I do to stop the duplication in CRM?

Master Data mapping between CRM/ERP(SD)

Hello Colleagues,
I am having CRM system and it is connected to the ERP(SD) system.
Now I want to replicate below Master Data from ERP to CRM. So that I should have corresponding mapping details for the same.
1). Business Partner
2). Sales Organization
3). Distribution Channel
4). Division
Questions:
a). In which individual table I can find corresponding mapping (crm/erp) of above master data?
b). How will I download the data in these tables?

GL account master data download

I want to download the GL account master data from Quality(testing) system and i want to upload the same into Development system via LSMW as the number of GL account master data is more. Can anybody tell me how can i download the gl account master data? so that my uploading work will be easy.

Go to path : Accounting -->Financial Accounting -->General Ledger -->Master Records -->G/L Accounts -->Collective Processing -->OB_GLACC11 - Chart of Accounts Data / OB_GLACC12 - Company Code Data / OB_GLACC13 - Descriptions click on OB_GLACC11 or OB_GLACC12
And enter give company code and Execute (F8) click on Select all records click on Print button and click on List > Save / send>File an select Spreadsheet and enter and save the excel sheet and upload through LSMW

HR Master data download error

Dear all,
I am trying to download HR Master data using FM gui_download.
In case of downaloading all staff data, I am getting incorrect no
of records in xls file though no of records internal table is accurate.
Also some of the records values are corrupt or incorrupt values.
As analysed ,   when any value in a record ends with '#' as mentioned below, It is already considered as TAB separtion,thus
ends with incorrect values in certain records
CALL FUNCTION 'GUI_DOWNLOAD'
    EXPORTING
      FILENAME              = fname
      filetype              = 'ASC'
      WRITE_FIELD_SEPARATOR = 'X'
    TABLES
      DATA_TAB              = table.
When I try with ' '( space ) as the separator in this FM , number of records are correct ,but not spread across in respective columns. I need to download in xls file with tab separation....

Hi Rob,
I   have replaced those tab values with place before moving to function module.
still, I am getting the number of records to be less than what is in internal table in xls download.
There are records with genuine errors, which can be corrected.Still it is supposed to give atlease number of records to be accurate one.
Has anyone come across such issue while downloading master records

Integrating MDG in Financial Self Service for Asset Master Data creation in CRM portal

Hello Experts,
I have a requirement in CRM box.
If we navigate to SAP menu we have Self Service -> Financial Internal Self Services.
Then a portal page will open in browser. There we have link Master Data Services.
In that link we have standard sublinks for some financial master data creation.
This is coming from LPD_CUST(Launchpad Customizing) -> FINISS. In this Master Data Services we have to create new link for "Create Asset".
We can't go for Transactional iView. We have to choose Application Type as Web Dynpro ABAP only as present in standard links.
And in the Application USMD_ENTITY_VALUE2 should be present as generic UI component.
But after that what needs to be done for asset I am not getting. We have to do some config for component for web dynpro component, entity types, UIBB etc. InSPRO also, Cross-Application components ->Process and tools for Enterprise Applications -> MDG -> General Settings also we have to do something. I have collected info in isolated way.
How to approach for this. Please suggest.

Data download from CRM from standard browser based transactions

This is, I'm afraid, rather a general question. I'm doing some R&D for a software development company (SAP Partner), and we're looking for a few use cases for where data is downloaded from CRM, specifically from browser based transactions. We're not interested in anything that downloads from ALV - we've got that covered. Our main concern is other download mechanism that might be available in standard CRM functionality.
If anyone can point to some use cases, involving data download from a browser front end (web dynpro, presumably), that would be very useful.

As far as CRM7.0 is concerned (which is bsp-based) here are a few applications where users can download information from sap to local pc:
- Take any result list table and hit the "download to excel button".
- Start the "data import tool" that is available in UTIL_SALES business role, you'll be able to download an Excel file as well
- Click any link to attached documents to a business object (sales order transaction for example)
- Etc.
If you need help to start one of those application just let me know.

Huge master data download

Hi everybody,
I want to download about 5 lakhs of master data records into excel or txt file.If I do in normal procedure by going in maintain->menu->export->...then its giving dump due to huge data.
If there is any alternative or function module that can work plz let me know

I am getting below error in IC Web 7.0 for creation of techincal master data.
Error - An internal number range interval cannot be determined for category ISU_CONNOBJ

I see in DEMOS image for master data product TX COMMPR01, when you open transaction image is in top of the screen with the other data.
I create a new product and add an image in Tab Document, however image only is load when I pushed botton preview.
Some idea?

Well it should work if you have loaded the image at the right place in the Tab Document. Please verify the same.
What I did to check this :-
Go to Tab Document -> follow the tree structure Document -> Picture -> Full Size.
The Right click on Full Size ->create -> Document -> Import. And I imported a picture form my desktop. I did the same for Thumbnail. I can see the image in the top right corner of the screen in TX COMMPR01.
Also In order to view the complete picture I just Right click on the file name -> Document -> Display and I can see the full picture.

Bp master data match between crm and erp

hi gurus,
is there a match list indicating the customer master fields in erp and in crm.
which field can be synchronized to crm? which field is the target one?

Hi Daniel,
I am not sure if there is a list for that. But, the mandatory fields in R/3 should be same as the mandatory fields in CRM for the data transfer to be successful. You can set that up in transaction OVT0.

Hi Andy,
          Please try and reduce the size of datapackage in the infopackage screeen, save the changes to the infopackage and try and execute the load. As far as I understand the settings for datapackage would be somewhere between 10,000 (or) 20,000 records per data package. Try and make it 5000 and execute the load. Even if that doesn't work try and make it 1000 and run the load. I hope U r executing 0BPARTNER attribute data load. So, it shouldn't create big problem. Please try to reduce the package size and try Ur luck. Hope this will solve Ur problem.

Plist files keep being duplicated (for mobile accounts)

We are running a Max OS X Server 10.6.8 on a local network. On the same network we have several users under mobile accounts. Some of the mobile account users are experiencing a lot of issues recently. They were running on Snow Leopard, we upgraded them to Mavericks, but the problems persist. In their ~/Library/Preferences folder, they have a lot of plist files duplicated, example for iTunes:
com.apple.iTunes.plist
com.apple.iTunes-network.plist
com.apple.iTunes-network-2.plist
com.apple.iTunes-network-3.plist
com.apple.iTunes-network-4.plist
com.apple.iTunes-network-5.plist
And it's doing that for most of the plist files in the ~/Library/Preferences folder.
The same behavior is noticed for iPhoto in the ~/Pictures folder, and each one of the duplicate is pretty big (we are talking about an iPhoto Library around 30GB):

iPhoto Library-network-3
iPhoto Library-network-4
Is there a way to avoid this duplication and to clean the preferences files properly?

If I configure the login window to show all users (including network users), then user1 does indeed show up.
*3. Logging into user1 via ssh works.*

does indeed show user1 (and any other user I create)
So why can't I login/create user1 on the client mac without toggling the FULL PATH to /Network/Servers/macsrv1.disney.ch/users/user1 first? arghh!
