R/3 PS report that could give similar data to CJI3

Hello Pals,
can anyone advise if there is any report in R/3 4.6c version which is similar to CJI3 but also be able to add fields Vendor Name and Reference.
Hoping for input.

Sorry to come in so late on this thread but I ran into this question while trying to resolve another issue. I have several variants for CJI3 where I bring in the "Offsetting Account" (this will be Vendor #) and "Name of Offsetting Account" (this will be Vendor Name) fields using the "change layout" field selection icon the report will include this information for most transactions involving an invoice (unless they are processed through GR/IR).

X120e : SIW reports that BIOS gives Wrong Values re: Memory. Is this new?

I had just updated to the latest bios so don't know if something is amiss there. my x120e has one mem module, a 4gb Crucial part, runs fine, no bsods no errors that are apparent to the user.
anyone know what causes this or if it is spurious? the main reason I would like to know is that I was about to buy a matching 4gb module, but if perchance the part in here is not just-right for this system, then I shall buy 2 in a matched pair and sell this one.

Information on the reports that have run over a certain period of time

Hi everybody,
do you know any report (programme, table or other object) that provides with the information on what reports have been called by the users over a certain period of time in the past? I am especially interested in the reports in the customer name space (z-reports). Once there was a programme called RBE (Reverse Business Engineer) that could give this information, but it doesn't function in ECC 5.0 & ECC 6.0 anymore and no longer supported by SAP.

Report design for hierarchical xml data

I need to create a report that shows hierarchical xml data. I already have an xml saved to a database. How would I go bout creating a design for such a report? Should I be doing groups on every parent with children? Any example?

I tested the issue in my local machine by following steps:
1. Created a table and store the xml into the table with the following query:

5. For a shared data source, verify that Use shared data source reference is selected, then select a data source from the drop down list.
6. Right-click DataSets and click Add Dataset, type a name for the dataset or accept the default name, In Data source, select the name of an existing shared data source, select StoredProcedure in Query type, then select xml_report from stored procedure

7. In the Toolbox, click Table, and then click on the design surface.
8. Drag the Date field from the dataset to the cells in the table.

How can I generate portal report that give list of iviews-roles-users

I need to generate a portal report that will list all roles and iviews that assigned to them.
iviews can be assigned direclty or trough worksets/folders/pages.
Is there a way I can create such a list? Is it requires development? If so, Is anybody already deveopled such a report and can share the code?

I cannot assure that this can be achived with portal application. Coz we are trying to get iviews n role info assigned to users. i.e. Portal object info.which is not stored in d server as it appears to end users. it will be stored as PCD ID based., not name based.
The requirement might need to develop Portal Applicaion at SAP NWDS but, i am not sure of displaying iviews. Also we can get the Role IDs of assigned role but not Role.

Is it possible to create a generic report that accepts the SQL as a param

Is it possible to create a generic report that accepts the FULL sql statement as a paramater and returns variable results based on this?
We have a requirement to have a generic export routine to spit out csv's from clicking on a web page hyperlink, which would need to accept a "new" sql statement for every run, each containing different columsn etc that would be needed in the output.
I was hoping could have a generic Oracle report, exporting delimited data format (and as such not using a layout) and somehow pass in the "new" sql statement as a parameter at run time - each sql statement would be different with different columns etc.
Is this possible with oracle reports ?

If you need a simple dump of data you could try writing a report with a simple query such as
select 'Report title or column headers'
from dual
&data_query
then your &data_query parameter could be
union select col1||','||col2 from data_table
If you are outputing a comma separated data dump the you can concatenate together your data into a single text field.
This would allow you to have a simple heading followed by the actual data. I guess you could extend this so that the 'Report title or column headers' from the first query was also a parameter to output your row headings i.e.
select :column_headings_text
from dual
&data_query

I have reset the NVRAM and the SMC a couple of time but that didn't work so I ran an Apple Hardware Test and while testing the logic board it gives the following error:

I've done some research and found this is a temperature sensor related to the battery, but cannot find where the sensor is located in the computer. Would you know how I can find the sensor to test it? Could my battery problem be related to something else? Would a fresh install of Lion help?

Two pieces of information that may or may not b helpful, the hard drive is from my early 2008 MBP and the only test disc I have access to is from an iMac.

HELP!!!! I am attempting to synch my ipod Classic but have not used itunes for a few years. My ipod refuses to synch & its driving me crazy as I know nothing about computers either. I have run the diagnostics, specifically the Device Synch Tests which report that "no ipod found" although it is showing up clearly in itunes itself. So its recognized and showing me my libraries but is unrecognised when it comes to synching. I gave tried a few tips from previous similar queries (unchecking various boxes) and nothing is working. I am using Windows 7 64. Can anybody assist please??

Design reports that print consistently in difference PC environments

Crystal 9.0 The main issues are with 11x17 reports. In the developer PC the reports are viewed and printed properly. When encapsulated using VS 2003 and distributed to other companies, some are chopped to 8.5x11, others are resized and printed to 8.5x11, others are printed correctly.
Assuming that the client PC does support the paper size 11x17 what could cause this strange behaviour?

It really may be a good idea to check if there are updated drivers for those Canon and Konika (BizHub 500) printers. You would not believe how many times that resolves all kinds of issues.
On computers that do not have a printer, the report is able to use it's own "internal printer driver", so the view will render. While we're at updates, let's make sure the latest SP is on that computer. You can download and apply the SP directly (if that helps, we'll need to create a deployment package with the latest runtime). The latest SP is [here|https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100005987362008E/cr90win_en_sp5.exe].
The reports that give you the "Page header or footer longer than a page" error. Try this:
1) Open one of the reports in the CR designer.
2) Go to the File menu and select Printer setup
3) Place a check mark at "No Printer"
4) See how this report performs now.
If that does not help do the following:
1) Open the report in the CR designer
2) Go to the File menu and select Printer setup
3) remove the check mark from "No Printer"
4) Look at the list box of available printers. The first printer driver in the list is the default printer. If a lower printer driver is selected, select the first printer driver (the default), click OK and save the report.
We've just set the report to use default printer driver. See if that helps.

Crystal 8.5 - now 9 - report in VB6 gives "This field name is not known"

I've got to do some maintenance on an old VB 6.0 project that had some Crystal 8.5 reports in it (DSR files).
I only had Crystal 9.0 (developer edition) available, so am using that.
Running one report I now get the error "This field name is not known".
Q1. How can I find out what field - and where in the report it is?
Q2. Is there anything special I should have done to "upgrade" the DSR/DCA and DSX files?

The reports are not "visual", they are created within a DLL that saves them as PDF's and/or prints them directly.
The reports are bound at run-time to recordsets; at design time they use field definition files (TTX). I believe I've made sure the field definitions match the recordsets that they represent.

Nothing in particular was done to upgrade the files, other than to upgrade the VB project to reference the Crystal 9 dll's and such instead of Crystal 8.5.
The Crystal reports designer does not seem to want to open a DSR file. I did find some RPT files in the project; but while the Crystal reports designer will load them it does not seem to want to save as DSR files.
The "Field name is not known" message is returned in the error raised when VB tries to run the report, and it stops the report from being built.

That's a good kbase article. I had actually guessed that was an issue and had fixed two of the three reports in this project, by dumping (to text files) the recordsets being bound to them and comparing real field names with the TTX files. (I also updated some of the custom formulas in the reports to match the proper names).
...but in the third report, I just couldn't find the mis-match; checking the recordsets, TTX files and any customisable formulas I could locate.
As for the patch - after installing it the report designer no longer works at all in VB6 - not for the reports that I had got working, nor even for a new report!
(added: actually I can't get any designer up, even the VB forms designer won't load, in a project with no Crystal in it...)
At this point I "give up".
VB Express 2008 was used to "upgrade" the VB project to .Net and then convert the DSR's to new format RPT's. They were then loaded into a fresh VS 2008 (C#) project.
I'm now at the point of trying to figure out how to put in the report events that were in the old DSR files in the original VB project (there is code in them to assign the recordsets as sources, at run time, and calculate and make available information from the report).

Query Builder - Find WEBI reports that are using a table

I am trying to find list of WEBI reports using a specific table. This specific table is used in only 1 universe.
Though I could successfully find list of reports that use this universe, I am unable to find drill down further and find the subset of reports using this table/object.

With respect to your 1st requirement:
In BusinessObjects 6.5 it was possible. However, post BOXIR2 this information could not be retrieved from CMS via query builder. I agree with Jorge Sosua's comment above.
With respect to your 2nd requirement:
The field 'SI_PATH' will retrieve Filestore path(physical path). If you were referring logical path(Public folder path or psuedo-reference path) will you please refer my respone to Kelly Stone at BusinessObjects Query builder queries - Part II , If this may assist you.

We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
Unless you had Find My iPad enabled on it then there isn't any way to locate it. If you did have it enabled then you could try locating it either via http://icloud.com on a computer or Find My iPhone on another device - but that will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPad disabled on it (as your tagline shows iOS 7 then it should be harder to remove from your account).
You've reported it to the police ? You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc., and if it was a cellular model then you should also contact your carrier.
