R&R Queue Demon is hanging in status STOPPING

Hi folks,
I'm currently facing a problem I don't seem to cope with so I hope you may be able to help me. Here we go:
I implemented the SAP CRM Groupware Integration into a CRM 5.0 SP6 system. At first it worked quite well.
But today I encountered a problem with the R&R Queue Demon (tranaction SMOHQUEUE):
I wanted to stop and restart the demon by hitting the corresponding buttons "stop queue demon" and then "start queue demon". But I did not get that far.
Once I pressed "stop queue demon" and then the "refresh" button, the queue demon seems to be stuck in status STOPPING. And I don't seem to find a way to get the demon into status HOLD in order to be able to start it once again. It does not react to my input (i.e. pressing the two buttons I mentioned above).
So when I press "stop queue demon", it says "stopping queue demon successful. press refresh", but when I press "refresh", it's still in status STOPPING.
And when I press "start queue demon", it says "starting queue demon not necessary. already started." which is unfortunately not reflected in the status of the queue demon.
So what can I do to get the demon into status RUNNING again? Is there a way to reset the demon without having to restart the entire server?

Hi all,
I was able to solve this problem by deleting a lock entry (transaction SM12) in client 000 which seemed to have blocked the queue demon as described above. After deleting this entry the queue demon switched back to status HOLD and could be restarted immediately. Now it's running again.
But usually you should not delete any lock entries without knowing exactly what it's all about.
I hope this is helpful for others facing the same problem.

SMOHQUEUE: Starting queue demon not successful

I am performing the configuring settings in CRM and ECC. I am facing few problems, could you please help me overcoming these challenges:
1. In CRM, when i tried to Start Queue Demon in txn code: SMOHQUEUE, I am facing the following error:
"Starting queue demon not successful. Error during aRFC (SAPCRM_MW_RR_000:Error during the retrieval of the logon data store)".
2. In ECC, in SMQ1, if i double click on R3AD_BUPA48, it shows:
Destination: vqdisu_QAE_30 (Destination should be CRM but showing ECC - where can i change the Destination)
Status: SYSFAIL
Logical system changed, see SAP Note 588701
How can i overcome these problems.

For issue # 1 : Maintain a destination SAPCRM_MW_RR_000 in transaction SM59 according to note 305881.
For # 2 : This error may occur post client copy if somehow BDLS was not run properly. If you see an entry in CRMPRLS in ECC and CRMMLSGUID in CRM and they're fine, the issue might still be there. So delete CRMPRLS on ECC, reset the queue and execute.
A new entry in CRMPRLS would be populated automatically.

Starting Queue Demon and Queues SMOHQUEUE

In transaction SMOHQUEUE, when I click Start Queue Demon, I am getting the error an RFC connection error to do with SAPCRM_MW_RR_000, it says Queue Demon could not start because of rfc SAPCRM_MW_RR_000 error, either name or login incoreect. But whist testing I went to sm59: SAPCRM_MW_RR_000 and removed rfcuser, the password and the client, then it started successfully.
Would anybody know the reason why? If so could you please explain, and could you also highlight to me the effects of my removing rfcuser, the password and the client in sm 59.

I spoke to one of our basis guys about the error I was facing, and they told me that every client has a default client from which they copy, which is the client 000. So it is within this client that you are supposed to create your RFCUSER with the recommended password which is LOGIN. These are the parameters that you will then use for Creating RFC Destination for Replication & Realignment (Clt 000) SAPCRM_MW_RR_000.
With respect to the effect I am not too sure really, but I suspect your queues in TC SMOHQUEUE will be in status Released or on Hold, and not in Running.
I tried and it worked.

We upgraded SAP to version ERP2004. ABAP proxy XI messages are in schedule status even though we deregister and register & activated all queues.
When I click on the queues it is in running status.
Does anyone has any idea where should I look?

BW Queue Status Stopped: SXMB_MONI

I am passing data from XI to BW into a Data Source via Inbound Proxy. The problem is for some of my messages I get the status as Green Flag(Queue Status- Stop)in SXMB_MONI.
That means all those Messages are not posted to Data source even though they are successfully transferred from XI.
If I manually try to restart them. It says that the message are already scheduled in Queue. But in Queue there is no entry.
Should I regenerate my proxy? Even though out of 10 I still have 6 successful Messages and rest 4 as Queue status stopped.
Can anyone suggest what can be the problem?

is there any trasaction in BW where you can register your Queues. somthing like sxmb_Adm--> register Queues...
B'cos this was the same problem that i encountered when i was using another client(105) in XI-IS when executing server proxies. Then the queues in the client system were not registered.
so check if there is any place in BW system where you can register the queues.

Hi SAP Experts,
We have an issue regarding XML messages getting stuck in queue in ECC preventing the material status in SAP MDM to be changed from "Approved" to "Updated/Posted".
Checking in transaction SXI_MONITOR the status of the XML Messages are Scheduled or Green Flagged, looking at the time started it has been an hour and it is not yet processed successfully; and also checking the queues XBTR* (XBTR0001, XBTR0002 and ETC.) via transaction SMQ2 have stopped.
We need to manual process the XML messages for it to be processed successfully.
I'm unable to understand why these files are getting stuck in Queue's.

Hi Aeron,
Check whether the Queue XBTR* (XBTR0001, XBTR0002 and ETC.) is Unregistered in SMQR.
If it is so you can see as U in the Queue type.
Try to register by selecting the queue and click on Registration button and activate.
Then check your message in MONI, hope this should solve your problem.

Queue or Queue Table getting hanged

Hi. I am having an interesting issue. The problem goes as below
I have a queue table QT_PROMO_QUEUE and the associated queue Q_PROMO_QUEUE. This Queue has two agents QUEUE_AGENT1 and QUEUE_AGENT2.
Suppose say i have enqueued one message into the this Q_PROMO_QUEUE, then if i have manually deleted(not purging) that message from the queue table QT_PROMO_QUEUE, then the queue is getting hanged. I am not able to perform any operations on the queue except enqueuing the new messages.
I am not able to do below operations
dequeuing the messages from the queue, stopping the queue, removing the subscribers from the queue, dropping the queue, or even purging the queue table, and dropping the queue table.

when the Init is sucessfull in BW it initializes the DS in Delta Queue(RSA7) and if any of the documents gets posted they will come to update tables/extraction queue depends on the update mode you have selected in LO Cokpit. when you schedule the job control on LBWE - it transfer the delta records to RSA7

Hi,
Try to de register and register your queue from SXMB_ADM .
Also, try deleting the entry in the queue by double clicking on the Queue ID in SXMB_MONI and restarting your message.

Hyper-v virtual machine management in status stopping

Hello,
I had a problem with one vm showing status backing up.
I read on TechNet that restarting the hyper-v virtual machine management service would solve the problem.
I have tried to shutdown the service but it now says status stopping...
How long time does it take to shutdown the service? Is there anything I can do to hurry it up?
ps. I have production vm running on the host that I can't take down...

I also tested in my lab to disable that service forcibly ,then I found that it will leads the VMs to unexpected shutdown .
Based on this ,it seems that restarting the host is necessary .

SAP Work Manager status STOPPED in SCC

Hi All,
We have installed and deployed SAP Work Manager 6.0 on SMP 2.3. In the SCC it shows the app was registered or started successfully, however the Agentry instance server status is STOPPED. The Task Manager shows the Agentry Server is running, and can actually accessed from ATE.
The problem is we can't see anything in any of the other tabs. The tab Configurations is blank and we are not able to see or maintain any settings and/or parameters. The other tabs are also blank, for example Logs is not pulling in the data from the log files. See screenshots below.
The startup.log is also noit giving me any indications or errors. See also below.
Any suggestions as to what might be wrong? And how this can be resolved?

We installed SP04, but we are still experiencing the same issue. We even went as far as deleting and re-deploying the app.
Again it shows the app registered successfully:
On the General tab it still shows status STOPPED:
The other tabs don't show anything, e.g. Configurations or Logs:
After restarting SMP the node completely disappears:

Dear supprot,
We have 3 application servers to our production server.
App1 and App3 are working fine. when i am trying to start App2
J2ee server0 for the same server is getting stopped.
at that time "r3trans -d" is also taking lots of time on all the servers but giving RC 000.
when i will stop the app2 application server again "r3trans -d" status is
coming fast with 0000 for remaining servers and at that time everything is working fine.
please kindly help me to resolve this problem.

Hello,
Refer to the log files in the instance work directory for a clue why the server node does not start. Usually the files you are interested in are:
dev_serverX
std_serverX.out
dev_disp
If you share these files I could help you identify and fix the problem.

VM stays in Status Stopping after live migration failed/was canceled

I have a hyper-v Cluster running on Windows 2012 r2. I tried a live Migration from one node of Cluster to another node of the same Cluster. It got stuck by around 65% (if remembered correctly). After 45 minutes nothing has changed so I canceled the Job in
the Failover Cluster Manager. The VM went into a Status of "Stopping". After 5 hours it is still in Status "stopping". I haven't found any Information on why it got stuck on the 65% and have just found the error message that the Job got
canceled using Failover Cluster Manager events. But nothing saying why it stays in "Stopping" Status. Searched the Internet but I have Trouble finding anything related to the issue I see.
Any ideas?
