PURPOSE
Cloning 작업 시 수행 하는 AutoConfig 에서 발생하는 Error 에 효과적으로대처 할 수 있도록 한다.
Problem Description
Cloning 작업 후 AutoConfig 를 수행 하다가 아래와 같은 Error 가 발생하고 있음을 발견하였다.
AutoConfig could not successfully execute the following scripts:
Directory: /apps/ifswmisc/common/admin/install/MISC_findvcl2
adgendbc.sh INSTE8_SETUP 1
Workaround
Solution Description
$FND_TOP/secure directory 밑에 template.dbc 가 있는지 여부를 확인 한 후 없을 경우 template.dbc 를 original server 에서 copy 하여 $FND_TOP/secure directory 밑에 둔 후 autoconfig 를 다시 수행 하도록 한다.

I execute following scripts on source system preclone.pl dbTier &perl adpreclone.pl appsTier

Cloning error again part 3

Hi Hussein,
I thought I mastered cloning :( but here again I'm cloning for the Nth time and still encountered new error.
I am running :
perl adcfgclone.pl dbTier
But i got this error :

first , when i start my lenovo S110 windows7 , i need to repair my system . i just click 'repair' then my laptop start like usually . i try to connect my mobile modem but still show 'connection terminated' . then i try to connect with wifi (wireless) but

From your description, it should be the permission issue.
Make sure you logon with an account that have administrator privilege to start the service.
And then open the command prompt with administrator, run this command:

please note that Rapid Install (as it runs AutoConfig) records errors in the AutoConfig log file. These errors occur because the database has not yet been upgraded. They can be safely ignored. The errors will be resolved when you run Rapid Install (and AutoConfig) in Step 2 of the Finish the Upgrade section of Chapter 3.

I have a standby instance for an 11.5.10.2 production instance, now when I am configuring SSL over Standby for http, it gives me below error.
Oracle error -16000: ORA-16000: database open for read-only access has been detected in FND_GSM_UTIL.upload_context_file.
oracle.apps.ad.autoconfig.oam.InDbCtxFileException: Error executng BEGIN fnd_gsm_util.upload_context_file(:1,:2,:3,:4,:5); END;: 1; Oracle error -16000: ORA-16000: database open for read-only access has been detected in FND_GSM_UTIL.upload_context_file.
Please let me know how can i execute autconfig, coz my standby database is in read only mode?

I am performing Cloning for Oracle Application R12 with rapid clone and adcfgclone dbTier is failing with the below error.

but what wil be the remaining steps of clone then..?If you have not done any changes recently on your source nodes (add a tablespace/database, applied patches, add new forms/reports, ..etc), then do the following:
- Make sure you shutdown the source instance properly before copying the file to the target node.

Reg Adcfgclone after merge appltop error

Hi,
Mine is 2 node architecture.
Web & Forms in one node.
Admin,Concurrent and DB in another node.
Version is 11.5.10.2 and db is 10.2.0.4
I want to do Multinode to single node cloning using merge appltop.
I ran perl adpreclone.pl appsTier merge in admin node and
perl adpreclone.pl appltop merge in webnode.
I took hotbackup of DB.
Then in Target system
I have created control file and recover the db and open it in resetlogs.
i have manually created a listener for it.
Now my db and db listener is up.
I copied the comn_top,appl_top and ora_top from my admin node to target system.
then i copied appl folder from comn_top/clone/appl from web node to target system comn_top/clone/appl.
Then i run adcfgclone.pl appsTier from target system admin node.
It completed successfully but since i forget to add temp tablespace autoconfig ends in error.
Then i added the temp table space and run the adautocfg.sh which ends in error as

After moving pl file from source to target now the error didnot come.
I have also changed the value to null for sso parameter still the error comes.

We have 11g DB and 12.1.3 APPS
after run adcfgclone on appsTier
after 77% completion , i got error

1 row is for oracledev (this is our secondary application tier for oracle financials development - the one that I am trying to resolve our issue) (platform_code=912) This is the target environment during cloning.
autoconfig ran successfully on our DB tier and primary application tier (both on unix)
