R12.1.3  supply chain management Recommended Patch Collection

Hi experts,
We upgraded our EBS R12.1.1 application to R12.1.3.Our database is 11.2.03(not updated).
Please let me know what all the Oracle recommended patches we have to apply for SCM.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Neelaprasad.A.S

Yah that seems to work (just tired it by uninstalling my java client and it re-installs it) but I still get the FRM-92095 error after the initial Security Warning error.
Now if I go back and review 393931.1 I do recall it saying this:
The JRE 7 Plug-in is certified for Oracle E-Business Suite R12.0.x and 12.1.x with the following minimum patch requirements:
- Oracle forms 10.1.2.3 or higher with Patch 14614795 or later (See Document 437878.1 titled, 'Upgrading OracleAS 10g Forms and Reports in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12' for the latest available forms patches)
I did try and apply 14614795 but I got some opatch error "The patch directory 14614795 doesn't match the patch id." and I think the next day I forgot about that issue.
Now I see if I review Doc ID 437878.1 I see there is a consolidated in bundle patch 14825718 so maybe I'll try that and hope I haven't done this all backwards...

  • Implementing Finanacial Supply Chain Management - Collections Managment

    Dear all
We are in the process of Implementing Financial Supply Chain Management - Collections Management. We are also looking at business content in BI 7.0 as reporting solution.
While 0CLM_MC1 and 0CLM_MC2 are providing most of the data related to call worklist (like amount due, amount disputed, amount promised, dunning level etc etc) , an important piece of information that is crucial for debt reviews which is the text information stored in promise to pay and customer contact is missing.
Is there any way to upload this information (Long Text)  is BI.
    Thanks & Regards
    Sachchida Nand Dubey

    Hi,
U can go for BDC to upload ..
    i.e.
    'GUI_UPLOAD'
In general BDC and BAPI's are used to upload the data...mainly BAPI s are used to upload the bulk data...
if it screen flow then go for BDC upload...otherwise go for the BAPIs FM's

  • Supply Chain Management

    Hello SAP guru's,
I am looking for job. In one job posting the requirement is
SAP MM experience with a strong emphasis in the Supply Chain Management area.
Can anyone tell me how much do I need to know about Supply Chain Management?
How it is connected with MM?
    Please.
    Thank You.

    Hi,
First you should work in MM for atleast 3 years, there after you can think of becoming Supply Chain Consultant..
as everybody knows SAP is very Vast, addressing  all the requirement of a Single Module itself is very difficult..
But I would suggest you to Have Knowledge in FI apart from MM...
This combination is very useful for getting jobs..
    Thx

    sudha

    Hi Sudha,
Personally choosing a module in SAP is completely yours choice as you have to think well which will suit your aspirations. As from your portfolio i came to know that you got exposed to supply chains.yes SCM will be a good choice.I can see OTC/SD will be a good choice for you.OTC normally refers to the business process for receiving and processing customer sales. It follows "Opportunity to Order" and covers business to business(B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) sales.
Again choice is yours !!.  .Wish you good luck in SAP career.

    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi,
I think there is a note for each module.
For example here is a note for Payables.
EBS: R12.1 Oracle Financials Recommended Patch Collection (RPC) (Doc ID 954704.1)

  • How to apply 3 RPC (Recommended Patch Collection)

    Dear,
I am fresher in the field of Oracle EBS R12. As per recurrence of the create accounting issues on PAYABLE module: the Metalink representative recommends to apply the following patch collection:
We strongly recommends to apply the following 3 RPC (Recommended Patch Collection):
    Patch 13563472:R12.AP.B
    Patch 13563481:R12.AP.B
    Patch 13563489:R12.AP.B
So I want to know how to apply these patches, one by one or collectively. I shall be very thankful if you share all steps to apply these patches with me.
    Stay blessed.
    Best Regards,
    Ahmed.

I have corrected some of you steps and made below:-
    1. Stop applicaiton services.
    2. Stop Database Services or bring database in hot backup mode.
    3. Take backup(both apps and DB).
    4) Start Database or bring database out of backup mode.
    6) Bring application in maintenance mode.
    7) Extract the patch into a folder.
8)Follow readme document of the patch.
    9) use adpatch utility to apply the patch.
    10) disable maintenance mode
    11) start application services and test the application functionality.
I need your help at step # 5. In this scenario, will i take cold backup of data files only or whole backup of DB Tier & Application Tier. Whole backup of DB and apps Tier.
And Please also tell me if i want to reverse the patch operation, what do i need ? only restore the data files. Please tell me step by step. I shall be very thank full to you. Your posts are always helpful for us.restore complete db and apps tier.
If you have taken cold backup prior to patching activity then to undo a patch use below steps:-
    1)Stop apps and db tier.
2)Clear all apps and db mount points.
    3) Restore backup taken prior to patching activity.
    4) Start database and listener.
    5) Start application.
If you have taken hot backup then after step 3 you need to recover the database and rest all steps remain same.
    Also check below metalink note:-

and the new feature on this patch
    -     This patch will resolve the creation of Orphan records in OM Interface table, when a header record is deleted from Corrections screen

  • Supply Chain Cockpit

    Hi all,
can any one please explain me the purpose, working and application of the SCC in detail ???
    Thanks a lot in advance,
    PP

    Hi PP,
The Supply Chain Cockpit (SCC) consists of a highly intuitive, graphical interface that acts as the top enterprise planning layer covering all planning areas such as manufacturing, demand, distribution, and transportation.
All employees in the Plan -> Source -> Make -> Deliver cycle of supply chain management can use it to their advantage
As the gateway to SAP APO, the SCC makes dealing with a vast supply chain easier and more manageable. SCC allows you to:
Create individual work areas so several planners can work simultaneously on different parts of a supply chain.
View the supply chain from all angles, down to the smallest detail, to minimize the complexity of the relationships among supply chain components.
Measure supply chain performance with KPIs (key performance indicators) that are stored in SAP Business Intelligence (SAP BI).
Respond immediately and accurately to new developments by tracking alert situations.
The SCC can be configured to suit conditions within a wide variety of industries and business situations.
