R12 Apps logs deletion.
Hi,
Please assist me about to delete the logs from following paths:
/d01/oracle/TEST/inst/apps/TEST_erpappsdb/logs/ora/10.1.2/reports/cache --------> 67 GB
/d01/oracle/TEST/inst/apps/TEST_erpappsdb/logs/appl/conc/out ----------> 67 GB
I have checked to delete the logs from above paths, on testing machine and but logs are created again with same size.
What should I do, I am new DBA?

All of my apps were deleted from my apple id
Somewhere between updating my phone, changing my gamecenter email and password, or transferring pictures from my phone to my computer, my apps were deleted from my apple id. I'm not talking about deleted from my phone, I mean from my apple id. I am 110% sure this is the same apple id that I purchased everything on.
It started with me trying to update 2 apps after getting done transferring pictures last night, and it wouldn't let me. I tried a bunch of solutions and none worked. I downloaded Spotify to my phone no problem, but still couldn't update Clash of Clans and Twitch. Then I went to updates>purchased>my name, and saw my only purchased app was spotify. I was confused because it was still my same apple id, I didn't log into a new one. Then I deleted twitch and clash of clans from my phone and was able to download them. I can use them no problem, but that's not really the problem. The problem is any app that is on my phone won't be able to update when an update comes out, which some of those apps I had purchased with my money.
Two or three days ago I had tried to update my phone from my computer, only to have it go into recovery mode. To make a long story short, the problem was the usb port on my computer, so I changed to another one and it updated fine. I figured that was the end of my problem, but I can't remember if I tried to update any apps since then (other than the 2 last night when I found out this problem).
Last night I changed my gamecenter email and password to the same email and password on my itunes account and icloud account (although I think itunes and icloud are the same thing but I'm not sure). No problems there, everything worked fine. Then later on I hooked my phone up to my computer and itunes told me something about this phone not being used with this computer before (it has definitely been used before). Then it told me to fill in my information, so I put in my address, state, zip. I didn't really think anything of it. After finishing with the pictures, I grabbed my phone and saw two updates (see paragraph 2 for what happened next).
I ended up just going to sleep last night to deal with it today. So today what I did was restored from the backup I did right after updating my phone a couple days ago. That did not fix my problem (I didn't think it would since even on my computer itunes is showing my only apps are the four that I downloaded today/last night (clash of clans, spotify, twitch, and alien blue)). The thing that angers me is when I go on itunes, click on the three dots on top left near music, movies, etc, apps, my apps, it shows all of my purchased apps on my phone. When I right click it tells me who purchased it (99% of them say the same apple id that I am logged into that is only showing the four purchased apps, the other ones are from family sharing). Also when I look at my itunes folder on my computer, it shows all of the apps saved to my computer.
Like I said, for now I can still use the apps, but once an update comes I won't be able to anymore. Sky guide, camera+, night cam, and true skate (and 2 maps on true skate) are what I bought with my money.
So my 2 questions are:
-What caused this to happen/how can I avoid this happening again?
-Am I just supposed to buy those 4 apps again even though I purchased them on this apple id?Well I figured out my problem lol
Email a- original apple id email
Email b- original gamecenter id
Email c- the new gamecenter id
Email d- the temporary email for switching stuff
So originally I had Email a for apple id and icloud, and Email b for gamecenter. I wanted my gamecenter and apple id to be the same. Well today I went on my moms phone and saw that I was still on family sharing under Email d. That's when it hit me, your gamecenter, apple id, and icloud are the same account. By switching my gamecenter id to Email a, I turned that into my new apple id. Now my apple id is back to normal, and my gamecenter is Email c (I don't use Email b anymore so that's why I wanted to switch it).
Basically, my problem was being stupid enough not to think that your gamecenter was connected to your apple id. My problem came from switching my gamecenter email. So that's how to avoid this, don't be an idiot and think your gamecenter is a whole different account. For anyone who ever has this problem, that's why it happened haha. -
Since I updated my iPhone5 to ios8, my apps log out completely when I press the home button.
For example, I have a store-card app on my phone. It used to stay logged in all the time. Now, every time I press the home button I am logged out of the app completely and have to re-enter my email address and password.
Also, with myfitnesspal, I used to be able to start inputting a recipe and toggle to Safari to get details then go back in and complete the data entry in MFP. Now, when I toggle out of MFP, I am logged out of the app and when I go back in I am taken to the home screen rather than the last screen I was working on.
I have noticed the same thing with a bunch of different apps. Is this just the individual apps that need to update to be compatible with ios8 or is my phone glitchy? (I just downloaded MFP's new ios8 update but the problem persisted).
Anyone else encountering this?
Any fix ideas?Not sure about FB if you can log out or not (don't use it myself) but for the native Mail app you really can't log out of your account. All you can do is delete the account (which is a pain to re-do each time) or go into settings and simply disable the Mail portion of the account (but someone knowledgeable enough could simply turn it back on).
The other option is to set a passcode for your iPhone and/or not let others use your iPhone, or not use the native Mail app for your Comcast mail, use Safari instead. -

anyway, try sync you iphone with itunes
if that doesn`t work, try retreiving all your shops in itunes (file>dispositives> retrieve your shops) - my itunes is in portuguese, i actually don`t know exactly the words of the menu, but if you try u can find it
if none of that works, try logging out of your itunes account on your phone... after that log in again, and try to download the apps you have purchased.
none of that works, try restoring it with a previous backup, if it doesn`t work, do it from scratch! -
I turned off my phone and when I turned it back on, all my apps were deleted. I tried to reinstall my apps, but it wouldn't let me. My storage still remained the same even though, all my apps were deleted. How can I get my apps back?
Hold the home and power button down until your phone restarts. If that doesn't work, backup and restore using iTunes.

I have a new computer and want to sync my iPhone's apps. when I tell it to do so it says that all apps in my phone will be replaced by the ones in iTunes, but it's empty because it's new. If I do so will all my apps be deleted?
Transfer purchases over from your phone to your computer before you sync your apps. See Transferring Purchases for more details.

(I also don't wnt to back up to iCloud cuz how will that save my apps?!) So will my apps be deleted if I update. (Wirelessly?)If you backup to iCloud, your apps will be downloaded again from backup if you need to restore the device. If you backup with iCloud - your app data will be in there as well.
I have never lost anything when updating my iPad. I am updating wirelesssy right now even as I type this response. I'm typing on my computer - but the iPad is in the process of updating right now.

Ipad first gen apps mysteriously deleting?
I own a used iPad 1 (ios 5.1.1) (unaware of previous owner)
I turned it on (never completely turned off) and all of my apps were deleted (24 apps) and it is not letting me re-download them. (not counting the apps the device comes with)
I purchased all apps from the device so there is no way of syncing them back on from a computer.
Is there anyway to get my apps back without having to purcahse them again (also not letting me do that)?
What is causing this to happen?A long shot, but check the system requirements for the apps and see if perhaps they require iOS 6 or a newer model of iPad. If they do, and you went to update them, they may have been deleted since the new versions won't run on your iPad. The same would apply to trying to re-download them. If that is the case, you would have to have synched the apps to iTunes on a computer to be able to get those old versions back.

The minimum version required for Viber is 3.1, though it is always important to stay up to date. Why is it that you do not want to download the latest version?

How do I undo an iPhone iTunes sync? Most of my apps were deleted!
I am migrating from Windows XP to Windows 7. I restored my iTunes Music and Video library, now I'm trying to setup iPhone and iPad sync'ing.
When I tried to sync music to my iPhone, iTunes gave me an error saying this phone is associated with another iTunes Library. This is
referreing to my old XP library.
When I did a "sync" of my music, most of my apps were deleted. How do I restore these? How do I tell iTunes that I want that the
"other" iTunes library (under XP) is gone. Do I need to restore some other files/directories to get devices to sync without deleting
stuff?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am VERY frustrated right now!

GaryYou should have put all of your apps on the new computer.
Whatever is not on the new computer will not be on your iphone.
If you failed to put your apps on your new computer, then you will have to redownlaod them.

BACKUP ARCHIVELOG command is not obeying the policy of archivelog.
You can open a SR on MOS. (to check bugs)
I reproduce the same test and the result was the same, it seems that this is a bug.

This command eliminates the separate step of manually deleting archived redo logs.
With DELETE INPUT, RMAN deletes only the specific copy of the archived log chosen for the backup set.
With DELETE ALL INPUT, RMAN deletes each backed-up archived redo log file from all log archiving destinations.
As explained in "Configuring an Archived Redo Log Deletion Policy",
the BACKUP ... DELETE INPUT and DELETE ARCHIVELOG commands obey the archived redo log deletion policy
for logs in all archiving locations. For example, if you specify that logs should only be deleted when backed

But in ours case it's not honors this policy.
Only with the FORCE command should this happen. But it is not our case.
Oracle Docs:
If FORCE is not specified on the deletion commands,
then these deletion commands obey the archived log deletion policy.

I keep getting the error message "-42408" and all of my apps got deleted on my iPhone. It says that I need to authorize my computer, so I tried than and that's when the error message showed up. I'm pretty ****** and want my apps to be back on my iPhone. Please help.
What version of iTunes are you using? The error you references seems to be connected with iTunes 9.0.4. That version of iTunes is not compatible with iOS 6. You need to update to the current version of iTunes.

I have a G5 iMac. The browser and other apps were deleted by mistake. If I had a working browser I think I could recover the other apps I need. Question is .... Where to start without a browser?
Well, go to a library or friends house & download file. Do not expand. copy to zip drive. etc.
Here is how to download iCab from the terminal. the curl command reads html page. I fished out the download link. I think you want 501. To get link, click on what download you want. In the page that comes up . Look at the http source. search for auto & copy link.
