  • Process steps for customer incoming payment w.r.to Billing.

    Hi all,
Can some body help me in by providing the process steps for customer incoming payment w.r.to Billing.i want to know the process from open items to cleared item , if possible pl give table names also and thier data flow using tables.
    thanks

    Dear Sai,
Use the transaction code F-28.Give the document date, Bank account, amount received, Value date, and the customer code. In case you know which are the document numbers against which you have received the payment, select the "Document numbers" in the "Additional selection" tab and then click on "Process open items".
Fill the document numbers in the next field, press enter and then click on "Process open items". Select the open items, simulate and then save.
In case you do not have the document numbers, then directly click "Process open items", select the line items and click "Document > Simulate" and then save.
    Assign points if useful.

  • SAP process steps for tool room

What will be the SAP process steps for tool room.
Moulds are manufactured and maintenance of moulds are being done in the tool room

    Hi,
Assuming the moulds are available, you may follow the steps below:
    > Create mould as Equipment with PRT screen data
    > Create measuring point for this equipment.
    > Create counter based maintenance plans for preventive maintenance.
    > Use applicable user exit to update the measuring point, in association with PP product confirmation, where this mould is used in respective work center.
    > This will give the preventive maintenance schedule in accordance with usage.
    > For unplanned repairs, use notification/Maintenance order route to calculate the costs and to maintain history.
    > When life expires, deactivate and set 'deletion' flag' to the respective mould equipment master, so that it can not be used in production.
    > Detailed scenario should be mapped, based on the actual customer requirement.

  • Oracle EBS R12.1.1 for Windows Installation

    Hi,
Is there a way to install Oracle EBS R12 for Windows (using the express install) without providing the Unix Tookit Directory, Visual Studio Directory, and the Domain info? I do not know where to get these configuration information. Please help.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
You cannot install Oracle E-Business Suite 11i/R12 without installing all pre-req. OS software. To get these software packages, you need to contact the vendors (the links are referenced in the document below).

  • Process step for Investment Management

    Hi SAP Gurus
Our client is into BOT projects - Build, operate adn transfer projects.
Till the time of transfer the asset is the property of our client. So the client builds an assets, maintains & operates and transfers the rights only after certain years.

  • CFolders - actual process steps for storing, sharing and authorizing

I am PP consultant and know nothing about cFolders and even i don't have access to cFolders server as well.
I am in one project, where i need to assess the cFolders functionalities, how client can utilize that tool as per client requirement.
Requesting your help in finding some of the information as given below.
    1. Process followed to store and share engineering data such as CAD drawings (2D & 3D) from SAP PLM/DMS in cFolders (Need step by step screen shots)
    2. Process followed to store and share non - engineering data such as requirements docs from SAP ERP/DMS in cFolders (Need step by step screen shots)
    3. Providing access to suppliers (If we provide access to one user, can we define that it will expire after some period of time. I mean, authorization is provided from date - To date basis)
    4. If you have any real time case study on Collboration with suppliers using cFolders
    5. What will be the process for point 1 & 2 , if we use other PLM software (not SAP PLM) and utilize cFolder colloboration. What are the integration points to be considered in this case?
    SAP version ECC 6.0
    Cprojects 4.5
I need your help to keep my job alive in this market condition. I hope, you understand my situation . Please send docs to the specified id in profile.
    Thanks a lot .

    Hi,
I have few points for you.
Requesting your help in finding some of the information as given below.
    1. Process followed to store and share engineering data such as CAD drawings (2D & 3D) from SAP PLM/DMS in cFolders (Need step by step screen shots)
I think you must be clear on what do you want to do?
SAP PLM/DMS use itself to store and share information with large users of the system by managing changes effectively. So no doubt about this functionality. According to user authentication the access is given to the user of the system either for PLM/DMS. Whether he is a supplier or customer.
    2. Process followed to store and share non - engineering data such as requirements docs from SAP ERP/DMS in cFolders (Need step by step screen shots)
The above answer is applicable for this point also.
    3. Providing access to suppliers (If we provide access to one user, can we define that it will expire after some period of time. I mean, authorization is provided from date - To date basis)
This is possible for all the users. Apart from that you can control acess for each document also.
    4. If you have any real time case study on Collboration with suppliers using cFolders
Collaboration is the term used by all the industies like Automobile, Aerospace, Heavy engineering and many more. You can get examples from these industries. But i have not worked in this scenario. The reason being many OEM's in INDIA are not willing to share their data with Tier I suppliers.
    5. What will be the process for point 1 & 2 , if we use other PLM software (not SAP PLM) and utilize cFolder colloboration. What are the integration points to be considered in this case?
This you have to study the requirements properly and take a decision ont he same according to the clients requirement.
Let me know if you are looking for more info

  • TA20406 how do I open a TextEdit file, step by step for windows

Please, explain and show me how do I set up textedit

The question in the title of your post doesn't seem to match the question in your post.
I don't have an early version of OS X so, unfortunately, I cannot answer your question about "setting up" TextEdit on "Mac 10.3 or earlier" and be sure my answer is correct.  In later versions, TextEdit saves in rtf (rich text) format by default or can be set in TextEdit/Preferences to save as txt format (plain text). Either should be readable on a Windows PC. I don't recall if Notepad on Windows reads rtf files, it certainly reads txt files.  Microsoft Word should open either.

  • Oracle EBSuite 12i - Are the apps available for Windows 64 bit machine?

    Hello,
Can anyone help please? I am looking for Oracle EBSuite V 12i on eDelivery site. But the only Apps available for download is for Windows 32bit systems. Does anyone know if it is available for 64bit systems, given that most systems one buys now are 64bit machines? Based on the answer, i will either have to buy a new 32bit machine (if it is available) or get the downloads for 64bit systems. Please kindly let me know.
    Many thanks, Deepak

    1) Does one need to be a technical guru to install Oracle EBS R 12i on Windows? No.
    2) Do you have any documentation which takes this step by step for the non technical person?Oracle E-Business Suite Installation and Upgrade Notes Release 12 (12.1.1) for Microsoft Windows Server (32-bit) [ID 761567.1]
Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Installation Steps on Windows XP
Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Installation on Windows 2003
    3) I downloaded EBS zipped folders (approximately 30 to 40) from the eDelivery site. I will obviously have to unzip them and then run the exe files. My purpose in having R12i is purely for learning purposes, using the Visions database. Will I need to purchase any license for this, or after isntallation, I can start using the visions database? You can use it for the first 30 days for evaluation as mentioned in the e-Delivery website -- https://edelivery.oracle.com/
However, nothing would stop you from using the application after then -- The license is something ethical.
    Thanks,
    Hussein

  • How to install Oracle imaging & process management in windows xp prof

    Hi All
I am trying to install oracle Imaging & Process management in windows XP. Please let me know whether it is possible in windows XP or not... which I couldn't able to install in XP. when I saw the Install doc, it mentioned it is possible in windows server 2003. Installation guide mentioned that we have to setup 6 or 7 different server setups.
    or
If any one have I/PM installation steps for windows server 2003 Please provide the steps.
Any input would be greatly appreciable.
    regards
    Vijay

    Vijay,
IPM is not certified to be installed on Windows XP (as for IPM services).
It is possible to install IPM on one server machine (or two, if you need Web). First, you have to decide, which services you have to install.

  • Process step with waiting time

    Hi all together,
in BW 3.X you could set a waiting time for a process step, for example 300 seconds. So the following step would start after a waiting time of 300 seconds. This was often used by us for an automatical second execution of the same process after a waiting time.
Now I want to implement the same amendment in BW 7.0 for the process deleting of overlapping infocube requests. But in the context menu the "waiting time" entry is not available. Is this missing menu entry depending on specific settings? Is it generally not available in BW 7.0?
If it is not available, how can I implement a second execution of the process step after a waiting time of x seconds?
Thank you very much in advance for your answer.
    Annette

    Hello,
technically 'waiting time' and debug loop are the same.  In ancient support packages of 3.x using the waiting time could cause lock situations, but this has been fixed years ago.
Technicall there is nothing wrong with using this function, however, from a logical point of view there are usually better alternatives (like interrupt). In most cases the wait time (or debug loop) is used to ensure that a process only starts after another one has finished. But in this case you either have to wait very long or you have the risk that the wait time is too short. And if you really need to wait, you can use an ABAP process with 'wait up to ... seconds'.  This is in my opinion more obvious if a not so experienced person has to monitor the system.
    Best regards,
    Ralf
