Pls tel the equivalent pkg to be used in R12!!!!

If I am not mistaken this is not a public API so any reason you are looking for the replacement in R12?
You could check the code in "Account Analysis Report" concurrent program and see what APIs are called.

Reverting the styles-related change in commit 10131. The fix broke several Mustella tests because of the change in checkbox/radiobutton padding. Verifying that this is the new look we want, also adjusting the code to make sure that we only do it for spark-skin cases.

R12 에서의 payment 관련 view 및 table의 변경된 내용에 대해 알아 보도록 한다.
ANSWER
1. R11i 에서 사용되던 AP_CHECK_STOCKS_ACTIVE_V
해당 view 는 R11i 에서 development 가 coding 의 편의를 위해 추가 해 놓았던 view 로 AP_PAY_SINGLE_INVOICE_PKG package 에서만 참조 하도록 design 되어 있었다.
active bank account/scheck stock combinations 에 대해 check 하기 위해 사용되던 이 view 는 R12 에서는 더 이상 존재 하지 않는다.
해당 ivew 를 참조 하던 pckage 역시 logic 이 변경 되었고 CE_PAYMENT_DOCUMENTS 가 대신 제공 되고 있다. 그러나 CE_PAYMENT_DOCUMENTS 는 기존의 AP_CHECK_STOCKS_ACTIVE_V 와는 차이가 있고 제공 되는 데이타가 다르기 때문에 기존 VIEW 를 참조 하여 CUSTOM PROGRAM 을 개발 하였던 고객사에서는 PROGRAM 을 수정 하거나 CUSTOM VIEW 를 생성 해야 할 것 으로 보여진다.
2. 11i 의 global accounting engine tables 이었던 XLA_AE_HEADERS 와 XLA_AE_LINES 는 어떻게 되고 payments accounting 정보는 어디에 저장 되는가.
11i에서 ap accountings 정보는 invoice 건 payments 건 모두 AP_AE_HEADERS 와 AP_AE_LINES tables 에 저장 되고 Global Accounting engine (AX) 을 사용 할 경우만 accounting data 가 XLA_AE_HEADERS 와 XLA_AE_LINES 에 저장 되었으나 R12 에서는 Subledger Accounting 정보는 모두 XLA_AE_HEADERS 와 XLA_AE_LINES 에 저장 된다.
AX 는 더이상 별개의 모듈로 존재 하지 않는다.

.SCA related changes

I want to modify/enhance address page on ESS Portal.
So far what I have read is; I need to download the SCA file and then import it into NWDS and make changes. So here are my questions;
1- From where I need to download the .ESA file?
2- How do I know that which ESA file i'm interested in - in my case its address page.
3- Do i need to make changes in that code or make a copy and then make changes.
4- If make copy, then how to re-assign it so that it will be visible in portal
5- How do I know that it's not already modified by some other developer, becauase if I download from service market place then it will always give me standard. How about if there are already some modifications to it?
6- If there are some personalization being done on this iview - do i need to do them again?
7- I have NWDS installed on my machine - it is enough to meet the requirement or do i need to install NWDI.?
I would appreciate if you answer these questions.

Revised Schedule VI Depreciation related changes in SAP?

As per Revised Schedule VI requirements related to Depreciation accounting, each and every asset has to be depreciated at individual asset depreciation rates instead of the Asset class. How would this be adjusted in SAP? Do we need to create new Depreciation keys for each asset? Please suggest.

JRE 1.3.0 to JRE 1.4.2 Mouse related changes

My application developed in JRE 1.3.0 shows quirky behaviour when using JRE 1.4.2 to run. The mouse focus goes to a text box unnecessarily. Was there any event handling change with respect to mouse done between JRE 1.3.0 to JRE 1.4.2? has anyone faced similar problems ? Kindly hlep me....

I have a dialog box which has a textbox to enter quantity. Previously when i use JRE 1.3.0, I will enter quantity, then click 'ok'. When I click ok, another uneditable text box will display total amount and the dialog box will close. there is a taxtbox between amount textbox and ok button to enter comments. It is not mandatory and usually left blank. Now, with JRE 1.4.2, When i enter the quantity and click ok, total amount is displayed and the cursor focus goes to the comments textfield. and the dialog box is not closed. when i click ok again, the dialog box is closed. this is the scenario.

DDL Related Changes

We have an application published. We had to increase the size of a varchar field in one of the tables, so we also changed the "create table" statement for the snapshot. We forced full resyncs for all of our users. (Note: this is a win32 offline app that utilizes msync for syncing) The full resync did not make the change.
In a test scenario, we manually deleted the local database and then resynced and then the table changes were made to the local client database just because of the simple fact that the tables were recreated.
This is great and all, and we could get by this way to get the changes reflected locally...but there is an issue where some of the Snapshot's tables in MOBILEADMIN schema...for example CFM$WTGPI_10065 still has the varchar2 field at its original size. I'm sure this is the same for other snapshot tables as well. I'm imagining that if we were to now allow users to enter data that was longer than the original field length, then the apply phase will fail or the sync will not succeed at all. But, at the same time the oracle lite database on the mobile device will allow the insert to succeed.
So, my question is, is there a way to reflect the DDL changes to an application snapshot another way, for example maybe through the Consolidator API? Or, will the application have to be completely removed and then published?

Sorry, forgot to update this thread with our results.
Gary, your information was helpful, but didn't fully resolve the issue.
The consolidator API offers a alterPublicationItem function to change a publication and it's snapshot realtime. This seems the only way to trigger a local DDL change for the Mobile user at the time of sync, without doing a forced resync with the files deleted.
Things we tried:
1) Made snapshot changes and republished with wtgpack (did not work)
2) After step 1, deleted local DB on laptop and did full resync (this semi worked, but did not update the internal mobileadmin tables...for example CFM$WTGPI_10065
3) Used alterPublicationItem through Consolidator API (Changed everything, internal tables and even local laptop tables)

DNS / DHCP related changes

Hello,
There is going to be a change in DNS server at our site. Also, there is going to be migration from Static to DHCP IP, but it has been assured to us that IP address will not change.
All our databases are accessed via DNS alias entries in TNSNAMES.ora.
Will a change in DNS server affect the current connections to database?
Please comment.

No, if you are using hostnames in tnsnames.ora, then even changing the ip should not affect client connections.

This is a command line program for manipulating metadata. It's the tool I would use for this task. If you have any Unix/Liniux/etc... background it's probably the best route to take. But you can use the XMPScript stuff that comes with PS/JS if you really want to, especially if you want to get familiar with the environment and do more work with it.

R12, OS related problem

I know this problem is not directly R12 related but this is for the R12.1.3 job. I have tried to google and fix all this afternoon but cant get it fixed. I always get help from here for EBS problems so I want to try it here and hope you dont mind to help me.
There was a network driver/shared drive on my laptop where I can access the public folder for the password file and other files for sysadmin. I disconnected it (a step for another application/task) now I want to recreated the driver. I used "net set w: \\123.92.123.89\public public /USER:123.92.123.89\public" from dos. It errored out: "System error 53 occurred. The network path was not found." Please help me to fix this problem so I can get the password for the sysadmin.
my laptop is windows 7, EBS 12.1.3, db 11.1.0.7 on linux. I can ping the IP.

What is 123.92.123.89? Is it the IP Address of the Linux server?
Can you ping this IP Address from your client? If yes, is the shared folder "public" is still accessible?

ID-CS4: Trouble observing XMLTag changes to page elements (or rather their stories)...

I have created a small project that uses the same approach to monitoring stories as the one used in the GotoLastTextEdit sample project.
The GotoLastTextEdit project example does the following:
- Sets up a responder that monitor open/close signals for documents basically to ensure stories in existing documents gets observers attached.
- The responder also reacts to the NewStory/DeleteStory signals to attach observers to newly created stories.
- The observer simply listen for IID_ITEXTMODEL events on the stories.
Since I'm interrested in xml tagging related changes and not changes to the text, I've changed the IID_ITEXTMODEL to IID_IIDXMLELEMENT. I'm however still looking for events on the TextStoryBoss.
This approach seems to work. If I create a new document and add some textframes i get notifications whenever I tag/untag/change (tagging) one of them. The really weird part is that if I open a previously saved document nothing works. I get no notifications neither for existing nor for new textframes. Debugging reveals that the observer seems to be attached correctly for both existing and new stories.
If I change IID_IIDXMLELEMENT back to IID_ITEXTMODEL and listen for changes to the text everything works as expected for both new and existing documents.
So how do I get IID_IIDXMLELEMENT notifications to work for existing documents?
Any clues would be helpful...
Additional info: This was only tested on Windows, InDesign CS4.

I'm confused by your post and code. Adobe has a function to do this. In the Insert Toolbar under the Tab "Forms" there is an option to create a jump menu. The only options that menu gives you is the same window or a frame on the page (a very outdated action looking at it now). But with basic knowledge of links you insert the menu and you will get code like:
<select name="jumpMenu" id="jumpMenu" onChange="MM_jumpMenu('parent',this,0)">
The "parent" denotes that this will open in the same window. If you change that to "blank" then it will open in a new window. A "Go" button is optional and also available in the DW GUI when you set up a jump menu.

RAW changes in 10.4.8

Looks like the changes to RAW support in 10.4.8 are less than some had hoped for, but every little bit helps. Here's the list of related changes:
• Adds RAW image decoding support for these cameras: Sony DSLR-A100, Nikon D2Xs, Fuji FinePix S2 Pro, Fuji FinePix S3 Pro (+Highlights) and Konica Minolta 7.
• Resolves an issue in which thumbnails may appear blank when importing RAW images from a Canon 30D camera.
