R12.X 64 bits HTTP server can NOT start up????

I am doing R12.X (R12.0.4 and R12.1) 64 bits sotftware testing. If I put everything on same server, http server can NOT start up. the message I got are:

What is the OS?
Did you complete the steps under "Other Requirements" section (apply Patch 6078836, and link to Motif library)?
Also, verify that you have all OS packages installed (especially gnome-libs-1.4.1.2.90-44.1.x86_64.rpm).

Look under opmn/logs/
There are 3 logs that can help, read the ons.log, You can fin de reason in there.

BPEL Server can not start after jazn default realm has been modified

Hi, everyone:
In order to customize my user task assigneeGroup, I set up a new realm in the jazn-data.xml using the shell (java -jar jazn.jar -shell). I tried to modify the jazn.xml file in %OraBPELPM%\integration\orabpel\system\appserver\oc4j\j2ee\home\config, and set the default-realm attribute to my new realm.
After these modification, the BPEL Server can not start, the server seems to stop after loading the first two EJB.
Does anyone ever encounter this problem? Could anyone help me?

It appears that I had the wrong oracle home and as a result some of the steps were skipped by the Universal Installer during installation, but installation was still claimed as successful. Even by launching the 'Mobile Server Repository Wizard' manually by running 'repwizard.bat' did not provide all the necessary window boxes to provide the details such as the SID, hostname, port number. I re-installed.
After starting the back-end database and then starting mobile server and testing in IE to see if the server was working by typing in http://<host name>:80/webtogo, I got the screen displaying mobile server.

HTTP Server does not start -- 9ias 1.0.2.2.0

HTTP Server does not start -- 9ias 1.0.2.2.0
Installed 9iAS Enterprise Edition. Whole installation went well. Finally when I reboot the machine, the HTTP Service does not start.
When I try to start the service it gives "Could not start OracleiSuitesHTTP server service on \\clwrd1 Error: 2140 An internal Windows NT Error Occured"
Event log does not show any errors..
Any help is appreciated.

Oracle service, Listener and http server does not start automatically

I have Oracle 9i release 2 installed on Unix HP box if system restart in case of power failure the Oracle service, Listener and http server does not start automatically, is there any ready reference available to check what's wrong is happening(I don't have knowledge of Unix).

SLD Server can not start

Dear Experts, 
I need your help... 
 
I installed ABAP+Java stack (ECC6.0 and SAP J2EE Engine/7.00 PatchLevel 109886.44). 
When I view http://myserver01:50000/sld, I saw that the SLD server is stoped and I can not start it even I click "Start Sever button", system gave me error message "Failed to send start signal for complete cluster, SLD may still be stopped on other cluster nodes.". 
 
I checked the log in Administration tab, the log said:

Further more, I was a little bit confused about the SLD HTTP Port, that is during the installation parameter setting phase (SAP Sytem-> Central SLD), I choose SLD destination as "Register in existing central SLD(default)", and set SLD port to "8089", SLD Data Supplier User as "SLDDSUSER", but I can not find user "SLDDSUSER" in ABAP SU01, it's very strange. when I tried to view http://myserver01:8089/sld, it said "Page can not be found", could you tell me what's the difference between these two URL: Http://myserver01:8089/sld and http://myserver01:50000/sld? 
 
There are totally two questions(one problem and one question) of mine, any suggestions is welcome and it's surely that I will follow up and close this thread for the effective solutions.

SLD is central repositoy to store system data present in landscape , Solution manager is used to monitor all the system using SLD also.
We can't montior system by just using SLD.

The functionality of the Visual Administrator->Cluster->Server->Services->SLD Data Supplier is to provide user inforamtion of the system that will be registered info. onto the SLD server, not configuring the SLD Server? (SLD is configured through Webpage port 50000 and to-be registered server is configured through Visual Administrator?
SLD Data Supplier is a area in As java system where you provide the information of existing SLD system ( the Exisiting SLD mean where SLD services is running )

IIS HTTP server does not start in Trex 7.1

Dear All,
I have IIS 7.0 installed on Windows server 2008 R2 + with Trex 7.1 rev 43, which has been inturn integrated with solution manager 7.0 Ehp1 sps26 (ABAP+JAVA).
IIS server installation is done after installation & configuration of Trex server
1) NOW IIS 7.0 HTTPS server is not working
My question is why should it is required to have ISS 7.0 http server running since I have not integrated Trex with Java Server, it is connected with the Service_Desk & dedicated two RFC named "IMSDEFAULT" & "IMSDEFAULT_REG" are configured to fetch & retrival of support message
in this case i have even tried "SAP Note 1483929 - TREXWebServer can not be restarted from TREXAdminTool" & "http://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspathreadID=1635893"
2) I am able to search & save the Problem in Tx- IS01 but except 1 problem or ticket its not searching the any other ticket or problem in Tx-CRM_DNO_MONITOR--> solution database

HTTP server does not start on 10g

I have the following installed on my Linux Intel single box
Database 10g
HTML DB
Application Server 10g
I had configured my application on HTTP server and was running fine. On top of it I installed successfully Enterprise Manager Grid Control in the same box. Now when I start the Application server the HTTP server shows the status Stop.
The HTTP server is configured on port 80. When I access the URL on the browser it say 'No response from Application Server'. I tried restarting but it went on and on but didnt start.
Can anyone guide what could have gone wrong or what needs to be verified.

Hi Vipul,
I experienced problems recently where the hardware was rebooted after the Apps Server did not shutdown cleanly. When opmn(Oracle Process Manager) tries to start the HTTP server component it tries to cleanup the old process id by performing a hard stop on it. In my case this process was now owned by root instead of the owner of the Oracle installation. You can check this by doing
$ORACLE_HOME/opmn/bin/opmnctl status
If the pid of the HTTP_Server component is present then check the owner of that process by doing
ps -ef | grep <pid_goes_here>
and see who the owner is.
In our case we had to restart the root process that was running and everything started up correctly.

You are right, this error seems to indicate that the script environment cannot find the required java classes.
Please try the following:
1. Open a shell (command prompt) on the computer on which you created the domain.
2. Change to the directory in which you located the domain.
By default, this directory is BEA_HOME\user_projects\domains\domain_name, where BEA_HOME is the top-level installation directory of Oracle WebLogic products.
3. Set up your environment by running one of the following scripts:
bin\setDomainEnv.cmd (Windows)
bin/setDomainEnv.sh (UNIX)
On Windows, you can use a shortcut on the Start menu to set your environment variables and invoke WLST (ToolsWebLogic Scripting Tool).
4. Invoke WLST by entering: java weblogic.WLST
The WLST prompt appears.
wls:/(offline)>
5. Then you can start the AdminServer with WLST
startServer('AdminServer','ClassicDomain','t3://localhost:7001','weblogic','password','/home/oracle/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/domains/ClassicDomain')

Under NW04s, While updating Patch Level from 9 to 13 after fresh Installation of EP 7.0 with BI JAVA under RH Linux / Oracle.At first the patch application process went ok till the first 4 component. Afert that, the error occurred that " J2EE Engine is running in safe mode. Pl. restart the Java Engine and
then Restart the JSPM." When I restarted the J2EE engine and then JSPM, I have the following 2 error

So, any idea that how to solve this issue ? I read somewhere that ibmjava 142 is THE correct one and the other versions are having sever issue with the UNIX / Linux ..is this true ?

C The dev_jcontrol file has error msg that server0 not running ...which is apparent from the above message.
I have checked my J2SDK Version i.e. ibmjava 142 and also, JAVA_HOME and PATH Variable and it appears that ther's nothing wrong in it as mentioned :

I have checked the compatibility of the HW and J2SDK version as per note 861215 and it is ok as per the note
-It seems that due to error A #1 : Error occurred while preloading classes of security providers from jre/lib/ext folder: java.util.zip.ZipException: ..the J2EE Engine runs in safe mode for a while and then it goes down.
So, any idea that how to solve this issue ? I read somewhere that ibmjava 142 is THE correct one and the other versions are having sever issue with the UNIX / Linux ..is this true ?
Pl. help as we are facing this problem since last 24 hours and it is very critical.

Linux dac 11g server can not start when copy from windows

when I install the dac 11g on windows7 64bit then copy it to Linux server 64bit , after the dac_env.sh and config.sh configuration , the serverclient.sh can launch , but when start the dac

I have try to use the serverSetupPrompt.sh set the db credentials , but I think the key length I input is not enough then failed , when use the client it prompt the key length issue so it make the db credentials setting up correct!

The Weblogic server can not start because the post is in use

I am trying to run weblogic server on my account, and it says :

Unable to create a server socket on Channel Default for: 127.0.0.1, port: 7002. java.net.BindException: Address already in use Perhaps the address 127.0.0.1 is incorrect or another process is using port 7002.
checking this port, I get the weblogic console, it is running, but when I try to log in to manage it, it says:
Authentication Denied
The username or password has been refused by WebLogic Server. Please try again.
this happened, before, and when I reinstalled the weblogic, it worked, I have no idea what deletes the authentication files, or change my password, and I am sure, I didn't leave it running before, and I do know my password very well,
can you please check and let me know how to stop this process, to start a new one that I can have control over,

First you can start witht he example server, after installation go to start menu --> example--> launch the examples. which will create a sample domain and brings up the server etc., If you want your own domain, using configuration wizard create a domain(follow the steps mentioned in edocs.bea.com) and bring up the server.

sounds like a class path issue - are you sure coherence.jar is in the current directory., i.e. C:\Documents and Settings\jimq? What is the result of jar tvf coherence.jar | grep MBeanConnector or windows equivalent?? Here is the result of me running the same cmd line:

Http Server failing to start

Hi ,
I am trying to install Sun Java Communication suite 5 on my Fedora Core 6 box.
It got installed properly without any error. When i start the Calendar Server it gives me this Error

the admin server and te http server are not starting because of which the http server server is also not starting for instant messaging

I am trying to install Sun Java Communication suite 5
on my Fedora Core 6 box.Well this is a problem to begin with. Redhat 3 & 4 are supported. If you use Fedora Core 6 all bets are off.
Try again with a Redhat AS/ES 3 or 4 install and if you have problems we can go from there. The instructions were written based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 4 (Nahant Update 4).
