R6025 problem

Hi when I open Photoshop cs6 I get the following error message  " R6205 Pure virtual function call " can anybody shed any light on this please?

What 3rd party plug-ins do you have installed?
Did you install them all via installers, said to be Photoshop CS6-compatible by their makers?
Or did you copy them or link to them in another place on your drive by the Extra plug-ins folder configuration?
If none of these things apply, trying resetting your preferences by pressing Control - Shift - Alt immediately after cold-starting Photoshop.  If you're quick enough to get the keys down it will prompt you to confirm removal of your current preferences, which will yield a reset to defaults.

  • ITunes Store Connection Problem and R6025 Error

I have a problem with iTunes (v 7.6.2.9) on my desktop machine that I haven't been able to resolve. The same version works without problem on my laptop, both are fully up-to-date XP SP3 installs with no iTunes add-ons.
iTunes starts correctly, but then does one of three things:
    1) It hangs during connection to the Store, with the bargraph almost at the end of the travel.
    2) It brings up the Store page, but although I can move the cursor around to click the Store links, nothing happens. Eventually the 'Accessing iTunes Store' bargraph may appear but it never connects.
In both of these two instance, no error messages appear, the Store simply locks up. I can still use iTunes perfectly as a player, access my library etc. However, I have to CTRL-ALT-DEL to close the iTunes process from the Task Manager.
    3) As per (2), but about five seconds after the Store appears, an error box pops up:
    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    Runtime Error!
    Programe: C:\Programe Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe
    R6025 Pure Virtual Function Call
    Pressing OK closes iTunes.
I've done all the obvious things - removed and reinstalled, cleaned out registry errors using jv16 Powertools 2008, I've even used Process Explorer to examine all the dlls in use with iTunes and compared the version numbers to the correctly working version on the laptop - they're all the same. I've also run a low-level memory error checker, but it passed with flying colours.
So I'm a bit stumped to know how to take this any further. I know other people have had R6025 problems in the past, but they seem to have generally been resolved by installing a later version of the application... which isn't much use to me, as I'm on the latest already. Incidentally, I did try going back one version to 7.6.1, but that behaved in exactly the same way.
If anyone has any ideas about how to troubleshoot this sort of problem, I'd be very interested. I'm assuming that I have another application conflicting with iTunes, but I've no idea how to find it.
    Thanks,
    Steve

    Yay! I've found the culprit...
For historical reasons, I still maintain my old Compuserve 3 account as my public e-mail address. Part of the CS3 installation is a Remote Password Authentication system called Virtual Key. I noticed that these dlls were being invoked during Store connection attempts, which I thought was a little odd.
I deleted the following files from Windows/System32: (annotations courtesy of the Compuserve info text file for Virtual Key)
RPA.DLL - The dynamic link library that implements the RPA protocol for Virtual Key.
RPACFG.DLL - The dynamic link library that implements the Virtual Key accounts wizard API and other configuration APIs.
RPAWINET.DLL - The dynamic link library that is required to enable Virtual Key for Internet Explorer, version 3.0.
RPASSPC.DLL - The dynamic link library that is required to enable Virtual Key for the Internet Mail client and other non-web clients.
RPAEDIT.EXE - An editor application for editing Virtual key Accounts as well as viewing and deleting sites from the Virtual Key Site List that is created by Virtual Key when accessing secure sites.
RPAUI.HLP - Help for Virtual Key features.
VKUNINST.DLL - An uninstaller program for Virtual Key.
    RPAINFO.TXT - This file.
As I only access Compuserve through the proprietary CS3 front end, removing Virtual Key has had no impact on my Compuserve mail system and iTunes is now working perfectly.
I hope this information might be of some use to others in the future!

  • HT203175 I have no problem signing on to iTunes my issue is once on the site I can not use the "search". It says there is a runtime error R6025 pure virtual function call. Has anyone had this problem and how do I fix it. Thanks

I do not have a problem getting in the iTunes stores. My issue is once on the site I can not use the "search". It says there is a pure virtual function call R6025. How can I solve this problem? Do I have to create a new account? Do I have to uninstall and re-install? Thanks

Thanks so much for your feedback. I really appreciate any input here.
If someone from Adobe could GUARANTEE that this problem would go away if I
purchased CS4, I would pony up the cash and do it. However, I'm skeptical
about that because I just saw someone else post a message on the forum today
who is running CS4 and getting the exact same runtime error as me.
I'll try un-installing and re-installing as Admin, and if that doesn't work,
maybe I can find a used copy of CS3.
In the meantime, I'm also wondering if a Photoshop file can carry any sort
of corrupt metadata inside it once it has errored out? Reason I ask is, I
had to port all of my old PSD files to the new computer, and I only seem to
be getting this error when I attempt to work on one of the files that
previously got the runtime error when they were sitting on my XP machine.
When I create new files from scratch on this new computer, they seem to be
working just fine (at least, for now).
If so, I would probably be smart to never open those troublesome
    "errored-out" files again.

  • When trying to browse itunes store I am still getting runtime error r6025. I know many others are having tjis problem. Any remedies yet?

Still getting Runtime Error R6025 when trying to browse iTunes store. So far iTunes support has been no help. Has anyone solved this problem?

Post this in the iTunes Store forum since it has nothing to do with your iPod nano.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it, which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

  • Problem with Runtime R6025 in Adobe Illustrator

have been reading forums, doing multiple solutions as suggested by your staff and other people online with no success. I will illustrate the problem to you, but may be worth checking Illustrator as I think it's a bug.
I have a file with 2 artbords at 11x17 and working on a newsletter that involves a lot of text and photos. Yes, I realize that InDesign is better suited to the task, but excuse my lack of experience with the software. So I have a group of objects: 2 photos, 2 vector boxes and a text block. After grouping, I apply a text wrap to all of it and place it in. For minor adjustments, I use nudge. I always get the error and Illustrator crashes when I'm nudging this object. I've also gotten the error when clicking through too fast but I hope that's not the issue. I picked up Adobe so I COULD work faster!
For solutions, I have tried reinstalling illustrator and allowing the software to fully update. I tried a registry cleaner tool that picked up several errors and cleaned them, but issue still persists. I did an SFC /SCANNOW which revealed no integrity issues. I've tried virus scans in safemode and spyware removal tools (nothing).
My system is a dual core i3 3.33mHz, GT 220 graphics card and 8GB of RAM running on a 64-bit OS (I made sure to power my computer up as much as possible)... and power not being an issue either as I'm running 600 watts.
PLEASE let me know if there is anything else to try? If not, please check your end. The error seems very specific to an action I'm taking which I can only conclude is a software malfunction.

Yes, the version is 15.0.1... if you wanted a closer test, try bogging your system down with some graphics. I want to be sure it'
s not just Illustrator not able to handle the work load (as I know InDesign lowers the quality of graphic display to be more system friendly).
I've put in the whole file 15-20 photos all at 300dpi of various sizes.... about 5mb per photo. About 6+
text blocks and a lot of transparencies.
I can't say I've done this EXACT application before, so I don't know if it's worked int he past or not. For now, I'm trying to release my text wraps while I nudge and reapply them after the photo is in place... hard to get an idea of a visual, but no crashes so far. Dunno what else to suggest/try...

  • Problem with save as PDF with FrameMaker 12

    Hey,
I just received FrameMaker 12 and I like it.
But I'm having problems when I use the save as PDF function.
It takes very long time to generate the PDF (at least 30 minutes for a book)
The fonts and spaces are messed up in the finished PDF. Some text blocks have paragraphs running over the margin
I have tried a couple of different things:
saving as MIF and back to FM
uncheck rely on system fonts only, do not use document fonts
but nothing have worked yet, please help I'm getting frustrated.

    Hi Jeff,
After I realized that I didn't make the setprint.ini file, I did that and deleted the printer=adobe pdf in the .dll file. But it still doesn't work. I save to pdf anyway, I was just trying to optimize my usage by making the default printer in FM the adobe pdf printer.
Anyway, the .dll file from above has the below information in it. I don't know what it means, but it has errors all over. Does this make a difference and what does it mean?....Thanks!

  • How can I resolve my R6025 error message in inDesign CC?

I am running inDesign CC 64 bit on a Windows 8.1 HP Pavilion desktop.  For disclosure, I also have inDesign CC and inDesign CS6 installed.  All versions of inDesign are installed via the Creative Cloud.  I experienced the same issue before and after upgrading to the newest version.
While in the process of creating an ePub, I receive a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library; Runtime Error!  Program C:\... R6025 - pure virtual function call with the option to click OK.  Then I see Adobe inDesign CC has stopped working.
I basically open my book, highlight the documents in it, Export book to ePub, choose a name that does not already exist, change the graphic to some other JPG file, set image size to Relative to Text Flow, image quality to Maximum, put in my ISBN for the unique identifier, and click OK.  Then the error occurs.
I produced two eBook files for other books today.  This issue only occurred when I took a book and documents that had been up converted from CS5.5 to the now previous version of CC.  I haven't re-tried the ebook that actually worked to see whether it would work again.
The technotes in the Community relate to CS4, so I was learious as to applying the solutions mentioned within.

    Pooja,
Thank you, but that is not necessary.
For disclosure, I uninstalled CS6 (I only installed it because it was compatible with the Amazon MOBI export tool), CC, and CC-64 bit.  I then reinstalled inDesign CC.  I then deleted the temp folders inDesign had created before when it attempted to produce the ePub files in earlier iterations.
I opened my problem book file, initiated the export, and used the default export settings.  It worked!  I inrementally customized the settings, running an export after each tweak, and it continued to work without issue.  Finally, I applied all of my settings, and it worked.
    Success!
Of course, one wonders why it worked.  I will say that, prior to uninstalling inDesign, after an aborted attempt to export to ePub, when I would launch back into inDesign, an untitled.indd file would always be waiting for me, in addition to any files I had had open when attempting the export.  I think it was this untitled document that was somehow clogging up the works.
Regardless of why, uninstalling and reinstalling inDesign CC resolved this issue.
    Cheers!
    Christopher

  • Reader 9.3.3 Problem with Silent Printing (print but no preview)

I've posted this in Acrobat Scripting Forum but not one response since 07/02/10 (170 read it but no response).
Running Windows XP 2002 with Service Pack 3
After updating from Reader 9.3.2 to 9.3.3 our users a experiencing a fatal error when printing silently (the form prints but you don't see it.)
    Steps:
    1. The server produces a pdf and an associated xfdf.
    2. The xfdf is executed which launches Reader and populates the fields in the pdf. At the same time the xfdf print parameters pass into the pdf
    3. Java Script executes the print parameters and sends the form to the printer without the user needing to do anything.
    4. After the print completes, the next set of pdf / xfdf would normally be processed but Reader 9.3.3 throws the following errors
    * A message box pops up stating Expected a dict object. The user clicks OK
    * The Microsoft Error reporting dialog box pops up. User clicks Send or Don't send either way it goes away.
    * A message box pos up "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library"
         Runtime Error!
         C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe
         R6025
         - pure virtual function call
         The user clicks OK
    5. Reader closes
I checked the Event Log and it states:
Faulting application acrord32.exe, version 9.3.3.177, faulting module acrord32.dll, version 9.3.3.177, fault address 0x000b271f
If the user opens the form in preview and prints using the print dialog or clicks the Print button I added (uses same Java Script mentioned above) it prints fine and the next set of pdf / xfdf are processed.
All users have rolled back to Reader 9.3.2 and the problem went away.
I hope some one from Adobe is aware of this because there are security patches in Reader 9.3.3 and our clients cannot use our product unless they stay on version 9.3.2. For now all users will have to see if the next Adobe Reader release will fix this.
By the way. I get the same issue in Adobe Acrobat Professional 9.3.3.
    Thanks,
    Doug

    Abhigyan,
The Java Script hasn't changed in 2 years. It was developed by an Adobe Partner. Adobe Reader and Acrobat have changed.
I'll try to step through the script but haven't had much luck in past.
Here are the lines that Reader likely is throwing the error:
    oDoc.print(pp);
    if ( bCloseNoSave )  oDoc.closeDoc({bNoSave:true});
As I stated, it works in previous versions of Reader (9.0 through version 9.3.2). The issue began when Adobe released version 9.3.3.

  • "R6025 -pure virtual function call" Error While Use Adobe Media Encoder

I'm trying to use Adobe Media Encoder (CS3) to output a project to H.264. I have about 3 minutes of footage on the Premier Pro CS3 Timeline, all of it in Cineform AVI intermediate format. When I export the movie through AME and select 2-pass VBR, it gets through the first pass, but crashes at 50% on the second pass with the error:
    "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    Runtime Error!
    Program E:\Progra...
    R6025
    -pure virtual function call"
Any ideas what may be causing this error?

    Point taken...
I'm on a Dell XPS 720 Windows XP (32-bit) system, with all up-to-date service packs and patches. I have 4GB RAM installed, and Production Premium CS3, TMPGEncXPress and Cineform's Neo Scene. Neo Scene is a recent addition and the problem existed prior to its installation. I have two 7900GS graphics cards (each with 256MB video RAM), running in SLI mode.
I dual boot Windows XP: One system is "Messy" with all kinds of stuff installed. The other is "Clean" and has virtually nothing installed, except for the three suites previously mentioned. No anti-virus or anti-spyware software is installed on the Clean system. I get the error on both systems.
I saw the post from September 2007 reference vcredist_x86. I'll be trying that at my next opportunity, however, I'm not sure that will fix it, as I don't see why both systems would suffer from the same corruption. I'll also be swapping out RAM to see if that fixes the issue.

  • Error R6025 Runtime error

    Hello,
I'm trying to solve a problem that concerns one user of our SAP system
When she is working on SAP a popup message is shown:
    Runtime Error!
    Program N:\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\SAPgui\saplgpad.exe
    R6025
If she pushes "OK" the every SAP session is closed.
For further infrmation the SAPgui patch level is 42.
If we start again SAP and we try to reproduce the same operation sequence that has led to the error the error doesn't appear again.
What can I do to solve the problem?
    Thanks a lot.
    Kind regards
    Nicola

    Hello Rich,
I'm afraid it must be the solution.
On your opinion how can I understand why the problem occur only to this user while the other ones are working without any problems?
Thanks a lot for the suggestion.
    Regards

  • TS1717 when searching in Itunes store receive error runtime error r6025

When trying to search for music in Itunes Store i receive "Runtime Error R6025" Windows tries to repair and ends up shutting down Itunes.

I had the same problem since I updated Itunes. I found a solution that worked for me from a previous post from 2007 (when people who updated to Itunes 7 had the same problem). Apparently you need to find which of your current programs is incompatible with itunes. Here's the link:

Hope this works for you too.

  • Runtime Error R6025 and DAQ-Driver

    Operating System Windows2000
    Teststand  Version 3.0
    DAQ-Driver  6.9.3f5
    Serial Driver  1.7
LabvIEW RTE build with LabVIEW 6.1
    hello,
we have build a testsytem based on LabVIEW and Teststand.
We use the NI-PCI boards 6713, RS232/16 and MIO-164E. We dont use any operator interface, only the
    original Teststand sequence-Editor and the Single-Pass Prozess-model.
It works very fine for  e.g. a whole week running and then
,suddenly, the ERROR Window pops up :
"Window-Head: Microsoft Visual c++ Runtime Library
    RUNTIME ERROR
    Programm ...\National Instruments\Teststand3.0\Bin\SeqEdit.exe
    R6025
    - pure virtual function call"
After pressing the OK-Button, the Computer will boot and generate a memory-dump.
We have analyzed the dump-file with the Microsoft WINdbg Tool.
The Bugcheck Analysis reported an error with the Nidaq32k-Driver !!
    What should/can we do ?

    hello,
unfortunately the msiBlast tool dont indicate the LV RTE 6.0 !, too.
See attachment  .pdf file for all installed applications
So it seems to be a other problem of the MAX Version 3.0, showing a LV RTE, which does not exists.
(The expected folder ...\shared\LabVIEW Run-time\6.0 is not present, too.)
Nevertheless i dont have any idea to solve the problem with the R6025 Error ?
Note: In case of manually killing the LV TS RTE within the windows system control (testsequence is running) , a blue screen with error indication for nidaq32k.sys arises !?
    regards
