Use >>this<<
Create a bootable usb stick (https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=165175.0).
Then unpack the previously provided archive (102.rar) and put the included file (TV303MH.102) on that stick.
Rename TV303MH.102 to 102.rom. Put the atiflash.exe also included in the archive on the USB stick too. Now boot from the stick.
Type atiflash -p -f -noaper 0 102.rom [ENTER] and let it flash the vbios.

Flobelix, would you mind explaining the "-noaper" command option that you advice to do in atiflash? I can't find an explanation about it anywhere -
MSI R9 270X Gaming 2G has the flicker/jitter issue. Does the BIOS update work?
Hey all, my internet research led me here for the flicker/jitter issue as seen in this Youtube video. The video isn't mine, but my issue is similar but worse as the screen with completely black out for a second.
It mostly happens when web browsing, but once in a while it'll happen while gaming. Strangely, it only happens on my primary display, not on my secondary display.
My serial number (minus the last three digits) is: 602-V303-07SB1312029XXX
I can't seem to find if the BIOS flash helped anyone or not, I'm assuming it has though because I haven't read any reports of people looking for more help after the flash.
So here are my questions:
Which vBIOS do I need and where can I find it?
My card has the BIOS switch, which position should it be on for the flash?
Lastly, whats the best method to flash the new BIOS?
Thank you for your time. You can try flash to the latest UEFI vbios TV303MH.1A0...
This vbios is for all V303-07S card.
the flash method also wrote in this thread.
https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=182256.msg1309322#msg1309322
Edit: I just check the vBIOS switch, the other vbios should be UEFI already, try switch to the other vbios, and see if the flicker/jitter issue happen?

GTX780 Gaming OC vbios request
Hello!
I'm using a MSI GTX 780 Gaming OC (N780 TF 3GD5/OC, s/n: 602-v298-010B1308079356) with a BenQ BL3201PT.
If I try to connect it to displayport I get no signal, via HDMI everything works.
Also, if I connect the display to the onbooard displayport (Intel HD4600) it works (full res@60Hz)
This problem occurs just before the windows login screen (when the driver kicks in). In linux the same issue, driver gets loaded, no signal.
I have the latest nvidia drivers and vbios is 80.10.3A.00.4C
I know there were some issues with GTX 980 icw displayport which were apparently fixed with a vbios update.
Is there a vbios for this card that has this problem fixed ?
Tnx.Quote from: n00t on 28-March-15, 20:07:10
Hello!
I have the latest nvidia drivers and vbios is 80.10.3A.00.4C
That is no real vbios version. What GPU-Z reports vbios version is useless. Save vbios to file, .zip/.rar it and attach to your post or upload it to some file hoster and add link -

MSI R9 270X Gaming - different default clock speed + flicker issues
Hello,
Techpowerup has recently published the review of my MSI R9 270X Gaming.
It seems that their sample had a default clock speed of 1120 MHz, while my card defaults to 1080 MHz as you can see from the following screenshots:
Review sample: My card:
If you have any ideas about this, please let me know.
The second problem is the typical flickering that occurs in 2D. I would be grateful if you could help me with that too.
I'm using Catalyst 13.12 and the S/N of my card is 602-V303-03SB1311007834.
Thank you!Thank you!

R9 270x gaming 2g oc edition bios request
I have a msi r9 270x gaming 2g
S/N:602-v303-070B1406024860,and i want vbios file because i have a issue,i have artifacts during ac IV black flag
Sorry for my english,i'm italianHi Axa
Without knowing your PC specifications, it can be difficult to help you.
Please read “Suggestions on posting and getting better answers”
https://forum-en.msi.com/faq/article/suggestions-on-posting-and-getting-better-answers
Firstly please check that your PSU meets the GPU power requirements, see the list here: https://forum-en.msi.com/faq/article/power-requirements-for-graphics-cards
It states that this GPU needs 24A and a 500W psu minimum
Nevertheless, even if your PSU meets these requirements, it could be that your GPU is still getting too little power and causing the artifacts.
I have a R9 270X GAMING 2G myself and my PSU meets the power requirements above, but I still have to use MSI afterburner to increase “Power Limits”
Without increasing the “Power Limit” in MSI Afterburner, I get artifacts too.
Here is my setup up for different Core Clock (MHz):
1 - Core Clock (MHz) 1050, Memory Clock (MHz) 1400, Power Limit (%) +5
2 - Core Clock (MHz) 1080, Memory Clock (MHz) 1400, Power Limit (%) +10
3 - Core Clock (MHz) 1120, Memory Clock (MHz) 1400, Power Limit (%) +20
As you can see, I increase the power limit even on 1050 MHz and further increase it when increasing the Core Clock (MHz). I do not change the Memory Clock (MHz) as I my experience, it makes no difference in performance.
If you have not already installed MSI Afterburner, you can download it here: http://event.msi.com/vga/afterburner/
I hope this is helpful and please post your specifications next time, it makes it easier for people in here to help you.
PS: You may find this helpful if your GPU overheats.
To avoid overheating I use custom fan settings during gaming.
In afterburner settings, under tab “Fan”, under “Temperature hysteresis (in C) I used the value 10. As far as I know, what this does is that it follows the fan curve as if the GPU was 10 degrees warmer than it actually is. This keeps my GPU nice and cool. In Battlefield 3 the temperature stays between 60 to 65 degrees, and it is pretty warm here in China where I live. The temperature would otherwise go up to about 75-80 degrees which is not bad either. Still I find that the GPU is more stable under lower degrees. -
R9 270X Gaming 2G - Multiple Monitor Issues
Greetings MSI and Community
I recently purchased two MSI R9 270X Gaming 2G graphics cards and three Asus VS248H monitors.
I want to run the cards in Crossfire and activate Eyefinity which I understand requires the third monitor to be plugged into the DisplayPort using an active adapter.
The issue: I am unable to change the resolution (from 640 x 480) on any monitor that is NOT plugged into DVI-I or HDMI on the graphics card closest to the CPU.
Windows is able to identify the monitor plugged into the DVI-I port as VS248 however the monitor plugged into DVI-D (on the same card) or DisplayPort is identified as a Generic Non-PnP Monitor with the resolution drop down box greyed out.
I have tried the following:
- swapping the graphics cards
- swapping all of the connections to monitors
- disabling and re-enabling crossfire
- uninstalling and re-installing drivers; tried Catalyst Software Suite 13.9, 13.10, 13.11, 13.101 (on MSI's website).
I am currently running the latest Beta drivers because of fixes to the screen moving.
I have been uninstalling drivers using Driver Fusion Premium. Also tried uninstalling using ATIman however the result is the same.
I have spent about 20 hours trying to resolve this issue so if anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. I am honestly at the point that if I can't resolve this issue I will be returning both of the cards for another brand.
My specifications:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1 Operating System
AMD FX-8350 CPU
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 (Socket 942) Motherboard
16.0GB G.Skill 16GB [SNIPER] DDR3-1866 F3-1866C10D-16GSR Memory
Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB ATA Device 240G

WDC WD5000AAKX-22ERMA0 ATA Device 500G

Thank you in advance for your time.

Perhaps your BSOD is related to the BSOD I got from not having updated my drivers thoroughly, and left old driver fragments.
See my post about it here: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=182037.msg1307746#msg1307746
I have not had a BSOD since I updated my driver in the correct way, by following the instructions laid out by the good people in this forum.
Link here: https://forum-en.msi.com/faq/article/where-can-i-download-vga-drivers-and-how-do-i-install-t
As far as the two problems I had with the power plan. They are resolved now.
After updating to the latest Intel Management Engine Drivers, the monitor is responding, as it should.
What is preventing the system from entering sleep mode, is unrelated to the GPU or any other hardware for that matter. Embarrassingly I did not run the CMD command "powercfg -requests" to find out, before I posted the question.
It seems I am a little too trigger happy posting questions here It is my internet connection that is preventing the system from entering hybrid sleep mode.

MSI Radeon R9 270X GAMING 4GB and GOP UEFI vBios Flash?
I'm thinking about getting a MSI Radeon R9 270X GAMING 4GB for my HTPC since it's kind of shorter and was wondering if MSI provides a GOP UEFI flash for it or if it's capable of doing so?
Thank you.the card has 2 VBIOS's and some have one that is Legacy and another that is GOP already (others have a Legacy and a LN2) so its a 50/50 if it has it out the box!
if it doesn't there will probably be one available as the Rx - 2xx have been around a while now!
