The screen shakes? You mean flickering? If so does it occur in idle/browsing internet or just in games?
It's flickering. Occur in browsing and in games.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
    No data will be lost.

  • PS CS4 (64bit) 11.+ Issue (Screen Shaking)

    Hmm,
I have this strange problem. I just updated my PS after a while to a newer version and now my screen is "shaking" like mad everytime I circle around the selected picture or close/further it with the navigator. The whole desktop is jumping up and down for about 2-3cm from where it should be and blinding together into a blured and disturbed image.
I tried downgrading it and that works, also my Illustrator CS4 works just fine, so I can't really see the problem :3
    My spec:
    Intel Core 2 Duo E8500, 2x 3.17GHz
    ASUS P5Q3 Deluxe/WiFi-AP@n, P45
    Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 X2, 2x 1024MB
    Corsair XMS3 DHX DIMM Kit 4GB PC3-12600U
    Thanks for your help

Well yea, I'll probably do that, even if I don't really see that as a permanent solution.. You know downgrading is kinda more going against the whole "progress thingy" idea and not a real solution.
But never the less, thanks for your time

  • Iphone screen shaking when I reset

When I try to reset my iphone "power + home" to turn on the screen is shaking is almost imperceptible, so I can see when I pull down the notifications bar ... this never happened to me I think it is not normal .. can someone tell me if it is normal? When I try to reset my iphone "power + home" to turn on the screen is shaking is almost imperceptible, so I can see when I pull down the notifications bar ... this never happened to me I think it is not normal .. can someone tell me if it is normal?

If you have a case on the iphone, then take it off and see if that resolves the issue.
A case could block the proximity sensor. They are not in the same place as the original iphone.

  • Screen shaking / jumping

Hi I've had a strange issue appear on my Macbook Pro within the last few weeks. Every few minutes my screen shakes/jumps! It always starts from the top and if I leave it, it will work its way down to cover the whole screen.
I can't figure out what it is, i've read a few other people with this issue but for them it seems to be interference (like a nearby TV or speakers). I don't have anything magnetic around my laptop, and i've never had this problem before (the mac is now over 4 years old).
Here are some screen shots to show what I mean:
    http://tinyurl.com/626beuq
    http://tinyurl.com/62be7g7
Nothing I'm doing seems to start the problem, in fact it will happen whether i'm at my macbook or not. To fix it I have to tightly hold the screen for a second and it stops, or sometimes moving the screen around, but it will start backup within a few seconds.
My guess is maybe it's hardware, the screen is toast?
    Here are my macbook specs.
Processor  2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    Memory  2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Graphics  NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 256 MB
    Software  Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 (11C74)

To reproduce shaking/flicker: double click home button to close apps, then return to home screen by clicking on home button or tapping on home screen and you can see the screen re-adjust (jump/flicker).

  • Screen shaking and colorsync errors

    Hi,
I have a Macbook Pro retina mid 2012 and I've noticed that my screen started to shake when I scroll up and down on safari. It also shakes when I pass from an application in full scren to my desktop. The shaking looks like if the pixels lag. When I move my mouse down onto the dock, the apps shake as they move (the magnification effect is on, but is less than half way in intensity). Trying to figure out how to fix it, I've also noticed that I have 4 errors that won't be solved in the colorsync utility app. Is there a link between those two problems and how can I fix them?

You have some corrupt or defective ICC profiles from Adobe, but that's not causing your problem.
    Do you use AutoCAD?
The AutoCAD application, when it exits, may leave the graphics subsystem in a state that has a bad effect on interface animation. The problem can be resolved, at least temporarily, by relaunching AutoCAD.

  • Screen shaking problem?

On my eMac i noticed the screen is vibrating quite a bit, i restored all the display setting to the factory settings and nothing seems to help, only if i enter a few applications or get the screen moving a bit, but after it is woken up from sleep or after the monitor is turned on after being off i notice a slight shaking. Any Ideas of what is wrong?
    -Mike

Good Morning - My daughter's Imac began to exhibit
these same symptoms with no solutions available, and
dire warnings re death etc, though all well
intentioned, based on my description of the problem.
Not long after the 'shaking/quivering' began on her
Imac, I found a good deal on an Emac, used, but late
model. Setting up the Emac, the same problem
occurred! Thinking that this just couldn't be
coincidence, I replaced the 15amp outlet serving the
power cord - Immediately the Emac became perfectly
stable, as did the Imac I plugged in later. A good
lesson for me; always check the simple stuff first.
Best of luck on this - Eric
Thank you for the input, I will try moving it to a few different locations and trying alternate power sources, i already opend it up today and i found nothing unusual, everything seems inplace just like it should.
    Thanks
    -Mike

  • EMac screen shaking

    Hi
Well recently my family and I moved into an older, but larger house and suddenly my eMac has been having a strange problem. The screen is shaking badly on both sides of the screen and there is no magnetic device around it at all to cause it. However, sometimes it is very bad, while other times it is barely shaking at all. Does anyone know what could be causing this? If there is a problem what should I do?
    Thanks in advance
    ~Joe~

Continuing the above post after being called away: two-prong also means non-polarized outlets. It's possible to replace such outlet receptacles with three-prong polaraized outlets, but to do any good, the outlet boxes need to be grounded and the hot and neutral wires correctly identified. You can check how difficult that will be by shutting off power to one branch circuit and removing a two-prong outlet. If the metal receptacle box has a copper ground wire attached to it, that can be pigtailed to the ground terminal on a replacement plug. The power feed lines under the current building code would be black=hot, white=neutral. If all the pieces are in place, replacing all the outlets in a house is straightforward but tedious (I've done that last part in a house where the previous owners thought it would be a good idea to use a spray gun to paint the interior wall. ceilings, and trim all the same color). With an older house, the power wires could be some other colors, or worse, the colors don't necessarily match the current code. An experienced electrician can test and identify the wiring and add grounding wires if necessary.
Be aware that grounding adapters don't necessarily provide a ground path even if you remember to run the cover plate screw through the adapter's screw plate; that only works if the outlet box is grounded.
You should also look at the circuit breaker for the house (given it's age and the outlet types, it's likely a fuse box instead of a breaker box). What amp rating is on the breakers or fuses? Older 10-amp service lines would be overloaded in a typical house, where the once-standard 15-amp service is increasingly being replaced by 20-amp to handle the demand for electronics. Low amp ratings make it more likely that heavily loaded lines are carrying more electrical noise; that noise can affect the eMac display both through direct transmission into the eMac's power supply and by RFI rediated from lines inside nearby walls.
An Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with line filtering could improve the screen stability on the eMac. Lower-capacity APC models (e.g. the 350mA BackUPS model) are commonly used as loss-leaders to get people into the computer stores in my area and can be found for US$40 or so.
    Good Luck!

  • Screen shaking/ wobbling [SOLVED -ish]

I don't know why, but for some reason my screen just suddenly starts shaking,
but when I change the resolution, then change it back, it's okay again.
It appears to happen at random because sometimes it happens before I login,
sometimes after I login, and sometimes it doesn't happen at all, but when it does happen, it's really annoying.
I don't think this is a problem with Xorg because it happens in the terminal too.
Does anyone have any idea what's happening?
    Thanks in advance

I don't think my computer is overheating -- it is running pretty coolly, and I've run it in way hotter times without problems.
Also, for some reason, this only happens in Arch (not Windows, not Mint, not Fedora).

  • Screen shaking on old PC (LCD monitor)

I just installed Arch on an old PC with an intel E8281E onboard vga and a 17' LCD monitor (this PC used to run Arch with Gnome, but the hard drive failed so I had to reinstall and went for LXDE instead).
When I start LXDE, the screen shakes at native resolution (1280x1024), but not in lower resolutions
I'm using the xf86-video-intel driver since it seems to be the most appropriate for this hardware. I tried disabling KMS at boot but nothing changed
    Any suggestions?
Edit: My bad, it shakes in all resolutions, it just isn't as visible

Old Intel card needs xf86-video-intel-legacy, which isn't supported by the new xorg-server. I don't know if yours is that old.
[ 2805.706] (II) intel(0): Not using default mode "1280x1024" (hsync out of range)
Maybe you should check your refresh settings? Wrong refreshing causes "shaking" or "blurring".
    [ 2805.712] (**) intel(0): DPI set to (95, 96)
Try setting your dpi to 96,96.

  • Screen shaking on 2nd display

had my imac for about a month now and just connected to my 26inch sony hd lcd through the vga input and sometimes the screen shakes ever so slightly. does anyone know what could be causing this? i have a gig of ram and the 256mb graphics card.
it is a subtle shake when i put it up to the maximum resolution on the hdtv which is 1280x768. on lower resolutions it's fine. the strangest thing is that sometimes it works fine with no shake. could there be any interference from something? i've checked bout ends of the cable and they are both secure and properly plugged in.
    please help!!

    Hi Jason
I know ScreenSaver takes over both displays!
A cool trick even better than ScreenSaver is to use iPhoto and build some slideshows with or without iTunes tracks, then play them on one display while working in the other!

  • Emac screen shaking or flickering.

I have an eMac G4 1.42 GHz. Recently the monitor has begun flickering or shaking particularly along the edges and it only lasts less than a minute, perhaps 15 to 30 seconds. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this and if so how much it would cost to repair? I am planning on replacing this computer this summer, I also will not have the money to replace the computer until this summer, so if this is an non-fixable or expensive problem does anyone have any advice on how to make the video last until this summer. It is not one of the computers on the recall list for the video problem.

I've been running mine at 1152 x 864 80Hz, I will try playing around with the settings. However this flicker is recent, and I've been running those settings for quite a while with no problems. My apartment building is kind of old (1920s), and I do have a new upstairs neighbour, I have no idea what kind of appliances he has or how connected the circuits are between apartments. I've lived here as long as I've had this computer, about 2 1/2 years, the only thing that really seems different about the new neighbour is that he seems to walk and move around much more heavily than previous neighbours, or perhaps they had rugs and he doesn't.

  • My screen shakes and my browser keeps going to the maximum window size. Screen shaking up and down

    Hello there Saber7,
If I understand correctly, the phone seems to think the phones volume up is constantly being pressedbut the button still clicks when you press it. This should be easy to isolate to hardware or software, so I would start by quitting all the apps that are running on the phone:
iOS: Force an app to close
    Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that reset the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
