R9600PRO white lines after Omega drivers

Hias,
I installed a Radeon9600PRO on folling config:
-KT3 U2
-2x256MB DDR400
-AMD XP 2000+
-Win XP pro SP1 straight of cd, no updates
-Eizo 17" F56 CRT
-Catalyst 4.11
-Fastwrites is on
-AGP apenture size is 128MB
-AGP speed is 4x
When I tried Aquamark it crashed. So I tried catalyst 4.10, 4.7, 4.9 same result.
When i tried Omega 2.9.5, it did finish but it only gave 16K points on aquamark. According to tomshardware it should do 26K on aquamark.
Since I intalled the Omega drivers, there are thin vertical lines all over the screen. When I deinstalled them and reinstalled catalyst (several versions), the lines stayed .
Edit: White lines have gone after turning of fast write...
2 questions:
-Is 16K on aquamark normal with that config.
-What causes the message EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION at the end of aquamark.
Everytime I think I am becoming a HW ace, something like this happens...plz help
Case temp is 26C, it also happens when comp is cold.

It appears KT3 chipset and DDR400 don't mix well.
Since downgrading goes against everything I believe in, I ordered a K8T Neo FSR and Sempron 3100+

  • Can't stop Thunderbolt display from flickering white lines after firmware update (Yosemite)

    I am having serious issues after the Thunderbolt Display Firmware Update 1.2. Running Yosemite on MacBook Pro and I am now getting white lines that gradiate from the bottom to the top of my screen across multiple browsers, apps and even the finder window anytime I move my mouse. I cannot take a screenshot (it stops when I try) but I posted a video here:
    http://youtu.be/3zOKL1JFp5M
    It is impossible to work this way and after 20 minutes of watching my screen constantly refresh anytime I move my mouse I am feeling nauseous.
    Is there anyway to UNINSTALL this firmware update? I was not having this kind of problem before. Every once in awhile I was finding my Thunderbolt display would not wake up after sleep and I thought the firmware update would fix that, not cause more, crazier problems. It is causing this gradiating line problem on my Thunderbolt display AND my MacBook Pro screen, which is even more bizarre.

    I updated and no issues with my 2012 Mini so may be computer related.  I believe once a firmware has been "burned" into the chip it cannot be redone.

  • White lines after eye dropper tool?

    Currently doing a project and I've been using the eye dropper tool and then filling in with the background colour and the white line that i used to create the shape goes, which is what I want to happen. However now all of a sudden, it is not going after I use the eye dropper tool, and its really ticking me off!
    Any help?

    The only part of your description that I understand is that it involves the eyedropper and that you are severely irritated.
    Using the eyedropper tool on what? Filling in what with what background color? What white line/what shape? The white line goes…where? Please tell us precisely what you have, what you are trying to accomplish, exactly what you have done to try to accomplish it, and what has happened instead of what you expected. And what OS and Illustrator version you are using. Perhaps a screenshot or two would help us to help you.

  • Black screen with white line after dropping

    MY husband dropped his iPhone and now it has a black screen with a white line from top to bottom. The phone can take calls but the screen never changes. Is this a screen problem that would be fixed if we replace it or is it something internal? He can press buttons but it only does the emergency call and then you can hear a bunch of buttons being pressed even though he isn't touching the screen. Any help would be great!!

    You obviously broke the screen when the phone was dropped.  Apple doesn't repair the screen on an iPhone 4; it will replace the phone for $149.

  • White line after clearfloat

    I'm working locally on a web page where I have inserted an empty .clearfloat before the footer. Previewing this in Safari looks great, but when opening the page in IE a thin white line (1 px?) appears just above the footer... How can I get rid of it?
    Ps. It's a 3 column fixed, header and footer layout that I'm using.

    Sorry,
    No public site so far, but here are the relevant parts of the code (I'm mostly using the default values from DW CS5).
    There are actually a few more divs in the layout than I first stated (.bottom-2-left and .bottom-2-right)
    .clearfloat { /* this class can be placed on a <br /> or empty div as the final element following the last floated div (within the .container) if the .footer is removed or taken out of the .container */
    clear:both;
    height:0;
    font-size: 1px;
    line-height: 0px;
    .bottom-2-left {
    position: relative;
    background-color: #F30;
    float: left;
    height: 10px;
    width: 190px;
    background-image: url(images/vior-sw.gif);
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-position: right;
    .bottom-2-right {
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-position: right bottom;
    float: right;
    width: 770px;
    height: 10px;
    background-image: url(images/bottomline.gif);
    .footer {
    position: relative;/* this gives IE6 hasLayout to properly clear */
    clear: both;

    background-position: left;
    padding-right: 0;
    padding-left: 0;

  • Remove path white lines after Live Trace

    Hello,
    Very new to Adobe products(CS5).....
    I have created a glass orb image (no mean feat for me!!) in PS from which I would like to make a .swf file from. The plan is to convert it to an ai in Illustrator and then export to .swf.
    I have opened the .psd file in illustrator and used live trace to convert to a vector. However, when I expand the resultant image is left with numerous white pathway lines that I suppose were generated by the trace. How can I remove these lines?
    Any help greatly received, remembering that I am a real novice to this.
    Regards,
                 Iain....

    Thanks Scott,
    I have the "Ignore White" option ticked.
    I've actually found the solution. When exporting to .swf I selected "AI layers to SWF Symbols" instead of "AI file to SWF symbols". I have no idea why this sorts it though??
    Thanks again for your reply.

  • Thin white line

    I was going to post this in a related thread, but that one has been hijacked by an argument about language, so...
    I've had my new MacBook Pro for two weeks and the display is a bit grainy and has a slight backlight leak in the bottom left-hand corner but both of these were OK.
    Now, suddenly, it's developed a thin white line at the top of the screen, at the same position as the edge of the top menu bar, almost like the edge of the menu bar has "burned in" to the screen - you see it very clearly when you start up or shut down the machine and the screen has a completely blank grey or blue background.
    My questions are:
    - Is anybody else seeing this?
    - I think I'm "just" over two weeks since getting this machine, so should I try for a replacment or should I just submit it for repair. Apart from a squeaky spacebar key, all is working fine, so I don't know which is the greater gamble.
    Any comments would be appreciate, thanks.

    Mine had the same problem - a thin white line after some use. I returned it as soon as I discovered.
    It was also grainy, the was no white in the screen, bright sand would be more appropriate

  • After importing pictures they became grey with doted white line around

    I have imported pictures (RAW CR2 format) from my camera hundreds of times and they all went well. But this time the only the import worked well (I saw the preview when each picture was imported). Then Iphoto asked if i would like to delete the pictures on the camera after import. I deleted them. But then when I should take a look at the pictures they were grey with doted white lines around all of them. When I chose a picture and check the properties I can see that the pictures use normal space. I tried to drag one picture to a directory in the finder but this didn´t work either. The export doesn't work either. When I scroll fast among the pictures I can see them for a short period but when I stop scrolling they will turn grey with doted white line around. Whats wrong? and how to solve?
    system: iPhoto11 and Lion.

    The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
    Option 1
    Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
    Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
    Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

  • White border lines after live trace

    Hi,
    I'm new with Illustrator and I'm finding it difficult to navigate after Photoshop.
    Basically I have a photo which I have live traced. I did it in colour so it looks like a painting.  Thats what I want to end up with and will likely only be viewing it on my computer.  In Illustrator it looks fine, just how I want it.  But when I save it as a .ai file and then view it in something like Preview (on the Mac) it comes up with a thin white border between almost every colour.
    I searched this forum and the net prior to posting this but I cannot seem to solve the issue.  I have read things about transparency but in my case there shouldn't be any gaps, should there?  I just live traced the photo.
    If you can help me with please phrase it in simple terms.  I'm only just starting out here....
    Thanks!
    Mellfee

    Hi Monika,
    Thanks for helping me out here.  I really appreciate it.  I do have some further questioning though if you wouldn't mind.  I'm just trying to understand what's happening.
    In Illustrator, I can zoom in and in and in to these lovely vector graphics and not see any white lines between the shades/colours.  So how come when I view the saved file in Preview at half the size I see the lines?
    I followed your suggestion and rasterized it and the lines don't appear.  I haver to admit I'm a bit disappointed however as I really wanted the smooth vector drawings.  If ultimately that is the effect I want to get, and I want to avoid the white lines due the pictures being displayed mainly on my computer, what advice might you give me to get there?
    Very much appreciated,
    Mellfee

  • Vertical yellow lines on MBP on white background after screen idle

    After letting my MBP idle and the screen idle kicking in the display comes back with yellow lines but only on white background windows. See a screenshot here:
    http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n94/lelio_2006/photo.jpg
    if the background is anything but white the lines do not appear. The lines are always vertical and they are one pixel wide (the white part is one pixel wide as well).
    Taking a screen capture does not show these lines so I'm not sure if it is a problem with the video card but rather the display. After closing the lid and reopening the lines go away.
    I have a GeForce 8600M GT that is mentioned in the tech support document. Is this related to that issue?

    Still doesn't work after Apple repair.
    Took my MBP into the Apple store, they plugged in a device to check it and said that it was broken. He took it in back and came out 5 minutes later and said that they need to ship it in and that I should back everyting up. I took it home to do so.
    And then it WOULDNT BOOT. I ran fsck and it said that there were problems. Went back to the Apple store and a very helpful new person ran Disk Warrior and couldn't fix it. Said that I could give him my hard drive and he'll back it up and send it in for repairs. He definately went above the call of duty to help me out.
    Got it back 5 days later and restored, that went amazingly smoothly. However I still have the same problem of yellow vertical lines after a system idle / shutdown. I'm not sure what they checked after replacing the logic board but it doesn't appear to have been fixed.
    Does the logic board include the video card?

  • White lines in tables after conversion

    RH8 and Word 2007
    I've just done my first successful printed document, and some of the tables (only some) come across with white lines above and below the text that's in them.  If I delete the text, the lines stay there.  I've tried everything in Word I can to get rid of them (these are single-cell tables that contain Tips and such, with shading and a single outside border), but nothing seems to work.  Could it have something to do with the way I'm formatting the tables in RH?  Like I said, it's only some tables, but sometimes I will copy one and paste it into another topic and change the text.  That's the only thing I do that I'm aware of that might be "unusual."
    Thanks!

    Not at all. Adding the cellspacing="0" will do the trick.
