RAC configuration shows error !

Dear Friends,
I try to configure RAC in oracle 10g using Vmware , where host machine is RHEL 5.0 and the guest machine is CentOS . I have to follow the following web pages :

I have to try the several times but each time I get error during runing the "VIPCA" script in the Second Node (RAC2) . It shows error :
"CRS-215: could not start resource 'ora.rac1.ons' . Check the log file "u01/crs/oracle/product/10.2.0/crs/log/rac1/ora.rac1.ons.log" for more details ."
The contents of the "u01/crs/oracle/product/10.2.0/crs/log/rac1/ora.rac1.ons.log" is :

IDoc to File, SM58 shows error, ST22 short dump - Runtime error

Hi friends,
I am doing a simple IDoc to file scenario using the EVMSTA01 IDoc. My XI is running on client 100 and I am trying to send the IDoc from the client 200 on the same machine. I have completed the design and configuration steps required and also performed the required steps in Sender client (Sm59, we21 and BD54) and receiver client (Sm59, IDX1 and IDX2).
When I tried sending the IDoc from WE19, status meesage says that, the IDoc has been successfully sent to the receiver but SM58 shows error "IDOC_ERROR_WORKFLOW_START_R". When I looked in to ST22, there was a short dump with the below message -

See check for RFC destination and it is working as per your configuration or not , i mean , it is trying to locate remote server.. , so try to check in sm59, remote login and the respective result is going to your required client or not ??

Import com.sap.aii.mappingtool.* show error in PI 7.1 adapter module

i have an adapter module for 7.0 and i am trying to replicate the same for PI 7.1 in 7.1 NWDS.

but import com.sap.aii.mappingtool.tf7.rt.Container; shows error , do we need to inlcude any jar file for this :
i am using this module to rename file name (in case of pick and place scenario forwithot IR configuration)
getMessageProperty and setmessageProperty is getting deprecated.(striked off)

Content Conversion working fine in NFS, It is showing errors in SFTP

My scenario is Proxy to SFTP.
I did the content conversion in receiver side , It is working fine in NFS, But it is showing errors in SFTP,
I am getting below error.
Failed to process message content. Replication issues: Operations Master shows ERROR and attempting to connect to server shares gets "the target account name is incorrect"

I think this should be easily resolved, but I need some guidance.
I have a client with 2 Server 2003 R2 x64 DCs: BORIS & NATASHA. Last year I upgraded both of them from x86 to x64 one at a time, allowing replication to occur between the upgrades. BORIS is the FSMO roles holder as it is currently the production server,
while NATASHA is a backup DC. One thing that puzzles me though is that if I look at the NS record in DNS on the SOA tab, it says NATASHA is the Primary server.
While doing some routine maintenance I noticed an error in the File Replication Service events about a 'Tombstone' situation (Event ID 2042). I looked at article cc757610 in the Technet Library and opted for remedy #3 as I did not want to demote NATASHA
and I got confused looking at the help about using "repadmin /removelingeringobjects". I have no idea how to determine which DC has the good copy of the directory.
Now, in running "repadmin /showrepl" I get

When I try to look at the FSMO roles on NATASHA, it shows ERROR for RID, PDC & Infrastructure and says "The current Operations Master is offline. The role cannot be transferred." The other issue I'm having is that client PCs are intermittently having
trouble reconnecting to necessary server shares.

I spent a lot of time trying to understand using NETDOM to reset machine account passwords (don't understand it yet), but I see that you're saying that won't work anyway.
I'm not really sure how to tell which DC is the broken one, but I'm assuming it's BORIS since that's the one users are unable to connect to. Since it is the FSMO role holder and GC I want to make sure I understand the steps correctly:
1.Use dcpromo to forcefully demote BORIS
2.Do metadata cleanup on NATASHA (using ntdsutil?)
3.Promote BORIS again to DC
Should I leave NATASHA as the FSMO role holder and GC? BORIS is the better (more resources/faster processor) machine and it's the file server. Or should the better machine be the FSMO role holder and GC as well as the file server. NATASHA is meant to be
a backup in case BORIS dies.

The step you are performing is correct but you also need to seize the FSMO role on other DC if BORIS is FSMO role holder and configure authorative time server role.You can later move the famo role to BORIS server the choice is your however if you are
moveing the role then you need configure authorative time server on BORIS server.

RFC to XI -- works ONCE then FAILS. SM58 on R3 shows errors. ???

Really stange scenario
Sending a Simple record with about 3 fields in it to XI from R3 via RFC method.
First time Message arrives correctly in XI and ouput file is generated. Payload OK., File name generated OK so no duplicate file names etc etc.
Execute the same program (on R3) with the same data again then nothing appears on the XI side.
SM58 on the R3 side shows error Commit Fault com.sap.aii.rfc.afcommunication.RfcChannelMismatchExcept.
Now sometimes from SM58 I can go to Edit ==> execute LUW and the message gets transferred to XI.
Other times (more ususally) SM58 returns Function Module does not exist or exception raised.
On the XI side there isn't anything in the channel logs showing an error.
If I create a new channel in the IR then it works again ONCE then same problems as before,
Any ideas on how to fix -- I certainly can't uunderstand why the SAME PROGRAM AND DATA works sometimes and other times not.

Hi,
Please check your channel under Business System you are using in your configuration. Is there any other RFC Adpater which uses the same Program ID or any other active rfc channel pointing to the same system? If yes please deactivate/delete the other channel. Your problem will be resolved.

The LD_ASSUME_KERNEL is already set to the specified value and when i tried to run the addisctl script from the same session i got the same errors but when i run the checkdiscoverer.sh the ouput is:

To configure Own Error page in Web Tier

Hi,
I am using jdev version 11.1.1.6.
We have a error page for the application that we built which we can show to the User if the application pages comes up with an error.
However if the Application itself is down.. We want to show the Users a error page.
For that we will have to configure an error page in the webserver (oracle web tier) so that even if the application is down,
thne user will get a better Error page rather than the 404 Error page .
I am new to webserver (oracle web tier) and dont know how to configure an error page that I put onto the webserver (oracle web tier).
Any help is appreciated..

This will help me to handle the error at application level which actually we have done.
However We have to actually set up an error page or handle the error when the application as a whole is down, so that when the application is down we can show the error page to the users..
so was asking the method of configuring error page on Oracle Web Tier..

Database Configuration Asssistant error while installation Oracle 10g r2

I'm try install Oracle 10g Release2 on Windos XP PRO SP2 system.
I'm select in installation all options by default.
Oracle software is install successfully. Then automatically run Database Configuration Assistant, that must be install example instance.
But it show error window: "ORA-00959: ?????? 'EXAMPLE' ?? ??????????".

Frist of all the actual error message in English would be,
ORA-00959: tablespace <strings> does not exist
Cause: A statement specified the name of a tablespace that does not exist.
Action: Enter the name of an existing tablespace. For a list of tablespace names, query the data dictionary.
In your case that will be tablespace EXAMPLE.
How did you get this error, is this some tablespace you are trying to create?
If you want to see the Russian language you can set the Launage setting of your PC.
Control Panel >> Regional and Lauguage Options >> Advanced Tab
and choose Russian from drop down.

FOTA in N73 doesn't work, it keep showing error

I am from India. I have a N73 ME. When i am trying to update device firmware over the air, with configured server profile, it says "Authentication failed, please check server id/password"
I triple checked the settings, and found them correct. What happened, let me tell you step by step.
1. Device manager
2. Check for update
3. Chosen profile created by me.
4 Then it shows checking for updates.
then it shows error "Unable to authenticate, check server ID and password"
Please help me out. What could be the problem.

No updates of N73 were released via fota, so checking with the device manager would give only 'no updates available', suffice to say it dont support that method of updating the firmware, in order to get that message get the correct settings from your provider also make sure the default profile is set to 'nokia'

Varinabt configuration -costing error

Hi Experts,
I have the scenario like ...Variant configuration woth MTO,
I have one product ABCD and i have characteistics for that product. While creating the sales order if i select all characteristics system will do costing perfectly, if i miss any characteristiv to select the system is showing error like....no valid BOM is exist for that material.
As per sales requirement they want to select only selected items, how can i exclude those items in my cost run.....
Please give some inputs on variant configuration costing method

1.For all your bought out items maintain V as the price control indicator.
2.But for those bought outs,use some planned price & date in costing 2 view.
3.For your Inhouse manufactured sub assemblies & assemblies,manitain S as the
price control indicator and dont maintain any price for that.After doing cost
Estimate the value gets stamped in Current planned price.
3.Do the cost rollup for your header material using CK40N and then try to create a
process order.
check & revert back.
