Radeon mobility 3470 hybrid driver problem using win 7 x64

Hello everyone,
I am using a t400 2767 and installed windows 7 from msdnaa. Even though i tried pretty much every driver from the internet, the build in radeon mobility 3470 just wont work. The system manager keeps saying there is an driver issiue and is unable to start the device.
So i hope i get get some help here, which driver should i use and how exactly do i install this driver?
many thanks from berlin,
simon

Just load the Lenovo driver package.  I had to load it twice. THe Lenovo package is tuned to the switchable graphics in the stinkpad.  If that doesn't work, you might try setting discreet graphics in Bios (I presume you are on switchable now) and try then.

  • The "Unable to install Apple Mobile Device USB Driver" problem

Ever since I installed iTunes 10, I've had nothing but problems. I tried every fix I could find on the internet, unfortunately there are not too many, Apple's own website has loads of fixes but they never work.
I keep getting the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver come up in Device Manager with a little yellow exclamation mark and nothing I seem to do can fix it properly. I managed to fix it once, my iPod was synced and all was good, but once I restarted my PC, the problems started again. And I tried my friends iPhone which works perfectly and the same problem came up on my PC.
Cant someone give me a proper fix please?

I had the same problem with my iTouch when I upgraded to iTunes 10. I'm not sure if my problem was the same as with the nano but every time I reinstalled iTunes and plugged in my Touch, I got an error message for driver installation and the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver in Device Manager with a little yellow exclamation mark. The error message that came up stated something about the digital signature of the driver not being right. The fix that worked for me was as follows:
Delete the 2 Apple Mobile Device USB Driver files. If you right click on the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver in Device Manager and select properties it will tell you where they are located in the windows folder. My 2 files for windows 7 64 bit were:
    usbaapl64.sys
    usbaaplrc.dll
With ipod disconnected, restart computer and press F8 to enter boot menu.
Select boot option without digital driver signature support.
After boot, connect ipod and driver should automatically install correctly without error.
    Good Luck
I called Apple and they would not provide any unpaid support for iTunes issues.

  • Problem using Win Mobile 2005

    Hello,
Our customer is using 2 different devices one is having Win Mobile 2006 as the OS and the other is having Win Mobile 2005 as the OS. The SAP screen are perfectly viewable in the device having Win Mobile 2006 OS. The the problem faced in the other device (with Win Mobile 2005) is that the webpage is a blank blue screen.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Deepak

    Hi,
I'm replying assuming that you are using SAP NETWEAVER MOBILE.
Refer to note 1057759 for the delivered Drivers for Peripherals and devices supported in SAP DOE. This lists all the supported barcode scanners for SAP Netweaver Mobile. Those derivers are certified after testing to work only with that device and OS configuration.
For 7.0, refer Note 761833 for supported drivers and devices.

  • Problem using Win 8.1 Mail app with corporate email account

I have a client where most of the PCs are running Windows 8.1 with Office 2013 installed and an on-premise Exchange 2013 server.
Even though they've been using Office 2013, now that they have Win 8.1 the staff now like to use the included Mail app for all their email as they say they get better notifications with it and some other "goodies" that Office 2013 doesn't provide.
It's been working okay for them as I haven't heard of any problems. Until now. Their domain passwords are expiring and when they change the domain password they have no problem with the PC itself and domain access and Outlook 2013 still works fine.
But now they're getting errors trying to continue to connect the Mail app to Exchange 2013. They keep getting a popup asking for credentials, their domain accounts get locked out (imagine that) after too many wrong logins I presume by the Windows 8.1 apps,
and when they do get the Mail app connected they see an error in the lower right corner of the window about a problem with the certificate. It says something about the name of I think the server not matching the certificate.
The cert is from GoDaddy and I know the names involved with the cert are correct. But that's the minor issue.
The main issue is with getting the 8.1 apps, particularly the Mail app, to recognize the updated domain password.
I have a Windows 8.1 VM setup and on the domain but when I try to configure it to connect to the Exchange server I get the error "Unable to connect. Ensure the information you've entered is correct."
It's pretty obvious what is supposed to go in each field so I'm sure I'm filling it out correctly. But because of this I can't use this test VM to work on the problem.
If anyone has an idea of how to deal with the Windows 8.1 Mail app and Exchange and changing the user domain password, I'd be appreciative of the help.
    Jonathan

    Hi,
    Thanks for your feedback.
With 8.1, you can now use the Mail app without having to have a Microsoft account.
A Microsoft account is an email address and password that you use to sign in to Windows. It's free and easy to set up, and you can do so with any email address you choose, or get a new email address. (For example, you can use an Outlook.com, Gmail, or Yahoo!
    address for your Microsoft account.)
However, you must sign with an email address.
Any way, if you have any other problem, welcome to contact us.
    Karen Hu
    TechNet Community Support
That is one way you can sign into Windows but not required. As I stated earlier, these PCs are domain joined and that's how they login to them. As for the Mail app, 8.1 means an MS account isn't required anymore.

  • NI DAQ v693 driver problem at WIN XP

    Hi all,
I cannot install the Ni DAQ driver v6.93 (would need it for the PCI 1200 legacy card). Right after starting the exe file it generates an error: "Installer could not be installed. Error 110."
And I have to go for this version as this is the only one for the PCI 1200 card!  I tried it also on different PCs but I got always the same error.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Any hints?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   thanks + br  / jako.

I have installed Nidaq 6.9.3 on a XP sp2 computer with no problem. And used it on Labview 8.x As I have bunch of old daq-516 card I use in hobby project. I think perhaps you have some problem with the MSI installer program. But it is hard to say without more information.
Besides which, my opinion is that Express VIs Carthage must be destroyed deleted
(Sorry no Labview "brag list" so far)

  • How do i fix the "Unable to install Apple Mobile Device USB Driver" problem access denied

My new iphone 5c will not work with my laptop.  The apple mobile usb driver will not install.  'Access denied' is the final message in the diaolgue box of the device load error.  The device is recognized but there is the yellow triangle with the exclamation point on it indicating an error installing.   I've removed itunes and its components as directed step by step ..... twice.....  I've disabled antivirus, firewalls, and even created a second admin profile in hopes that it would load the driver.   Nothing is working.  The apple person was supposed to call me back after we were on the phone 90 minutes.  Well.... I guess she did not.  Help!!!  I would love to sync my phone.  Any ideas?

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

  • Y510P Synaptic Touch Driver Problem with win 8.1

Under warranty my Y510P Elan touchpad was replaced with a Synaptics and now will randomly not register a tap until taped 3 times. After the 3 tap it works fine again for a while then repeats the cycle over and over. After many tech suport calls it was sent in, twice, and sent back with no repairs made. They push the one button recovery and ship it back.
They told me that the system is set up for Windows 8.0 and not 8.1 so it's driver is the problem and when Synaptics updates it's driver all will be well. After a call to Synaptics I was informed that it's not an issue with 8.1 because it's the same as 8.0 as far as there touch pad and driver were concerned. This thing was not cheep and has turned out to be such a boat anchor.

The y510p has a whole range of issues, it has een discontinued, Im having a lot of problems with mine as well. Lenovo should atleast help out owners who bought this $900+ laptop.

  • Some Blu-ray disks have problems using Win 8 "WinDVD BD"

You may encounter an issue that you are not able to play back some movies produced in Blu-ray format on models configured with "WinDVD BD for Toshiba" version 8.
It will show up an message, that your software needs to be updated.
Because of that we have released a patch to update the "WinDVD BD for Toshiba" version 8 to resolve the issue.
    More info: http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB0402V40000R01.htm

OK, if anyone is still interested, and hasn't seen the obvious:
Found this at the bottom of the help definition of chapter playlist in Encore CS5
Note: Blu-ray disc players do not support chapter playlists.
So that answers the question, I guess.
If the feature doesn't work, why do they have it in the Bluray menus?
    Unbelievable.

  • Problem with Win 7 x64, WWAN or WiFi card and Windows XP Mode

I have a T500 with switchable graphics (2056-4RU) with a clean install of Windows 7 Pro x64 with the AT&T WWAN card.
With all the Win7 RTM drivers and Access Connections for Win7, I had a problem that the WWAN card (Ericson F3507g, purchased from Lenovo and working flawlessly under Vista 32-bit) would not initialize. Support told me to uninstall the Win 7 versions of the Power Manager Drivers, WWAN card driver and Access Connections and replace them with the Vista counterparts, which restored the functionality of my WWAN card. Based on the speed with which the support tech came up with the suggested fix, I suspect I am not the only one with the disappearing WWAN card problem.
Now I have found that starting the Windows XP Mode virtual machine kills the WiFi functionality (Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN) until I disable and re-enable the WiFi adapter in Device Manager and then restart the system. (I have not problems with XP Mode and with the Win7 drivers / Access Connections opening Windows XP Mode did not cause the problem with the WiFi.) Opening Windows XP Mode causes no problem with the wired network adapter on my system).
Thus it appears that I can have functionality of the WWAN and WiFi adapters with XP Mode using the Released Win 7 versions and functionality of Windows XP Mode together OR I can have WWAN but not WiFi functionality with XP Mode using the Vista drivers that support suggested. However, it seems that I cannot have WWAN, WiFi and XP Mode concurrently.
I reproduced the above XP mode / WWAN problem / WiFi problems on a T500 with Win7 x64 owned by another family member.
Does anyone (particularly anyone from Lenovo) have fix for this?
    Thanks.

for the sim card, try this:
    http://jack.ukleja.com/update-ericsson-f3507g-mobile-broadband-on-windows-7-with-lenovo-thinkpad/com...
I have another operator and I finally gave up. apparently it's also no that easy to install the SIM card, if the plastic thing that helps to remove the SIM card  is not the right position, it will overlap the SIM Card chip.
can't help for the WIFI. I had the problems too with access connection and decided to remove it. I use Seven's network manager, which does an equally good job.
Since I have the switch to turn off the wireless, I don't really need access connection anyway.
Finally, something that I learns while struggling with the bluetooth driver: the order in which power manager, access connection and the different drivers are installed DOES affect their effectiveness. I forgot the details but I remember 2 things:
always read the TXT file that is available on the driver page on the lenovo web site and install power manager and access connection last.
    Good luck

  • Poor Firefox performance after applying recent Microsoft Updates (Win 7 x64); any solutions?

Recently I updated to Firefox 27 and noticed really horrible performance (Task Manager shows FF pegging one core, frequent "Firefox is not responding messages", even lagging keystrokes in the URL bar). This is on an Ideapad s205 (AMD E450 APU, Win 7 x64, 8GB RAM, SSD) that has always had pretty decent web browsing performance for a low-end machine.
Initially I blamed FF because the poor performance coincided with the update to version 27, but now I believe the root cause to be a recent Microsoft update. The reason for that is that my wife has a laptop with an even lower-end APU (C60 APU, 5400rpm hard drive, 4GB RAM, Win 7 x64), and she was getting much better performance with FF27 until I applied a backlog of some 90+ updates. Now she's suffering from the same poor performance I am and she's pretty p*ssed at me.
Interestingly, I have two WIn 7 x64 Intel desktops that also have FF 27 and are fully patched, and the performance is just fine. Perhaps this problem is specific to AMD APUs.
Any thoughts? I've tried turning off the Azure backend per some comments in this forum, but that made little or no difference.
    Thanks!

Hi guigs2, I'm not sure what to expect for cache values. Mine are:
    * browser.cache.disk.capacity;256000 (default)
    * browser.cache.disk.smart_size.enabled;true (default)
    * browser.cache.disk.smart_size_cached_value;358400 ("user set" but I think this was computed automatically)

  • Radeon Mobility HD 4650 / xf86-video-ati driver problem

    Hi everyone,
I am under Archlinux with my laptop (Asus N81vp)  since a year, and i've got this problem since the begining. With the radeon driver installed, my X work well but the fan of my card is screaming and my laptop anormaly hot. I do not have this problem under Windows or with the catalyst driver (witch is working). I really want to use the radeon, more maintained (and free ^^).
I cannot have the temperature and the state of the fan, my ic2 chips aren't recognized by lm-sensors...
I really don't know where the problem is : if anyone have a Radeon mobility HD 4650, i would like to know if they have the same problem or a solution. Maybe it's a bug of the driver, or a configuration problem...
Anyway, if anyone have a solution, i googlize it for hours, and this problem outclass my knowledge...
Here's a bit of my hardware and configs files. I you want more, tell me
Thanx in advance (and i'm sorry if my english sucks, i'm from France ...)

As far as I know, the open source driver simply churns through quite a bit more power than catalyst when idling. The higher core temperature is the unfortunate direct result of this.
I'm using xf86-video-ati 6.14.2-1 too, but with a Radeon Mobility HD4570 (which is detected by lm-sensors, by the way). With the default driver settings (highest power state), I see core temperatures as high as 88 degrees C when doing nothing. I've added
    echo mid > /sys/class/drm/card0/device/power_profile
to /etc/rc.local as a workaround for the issue. This basically forces a lower power mode than default at boot. Currently, my GPU idles at 64 degrees C, which is sort of acceptable in my opinion. The obvious side effect of this workaround is that your graphics performance goes down, which I'd even notice in Gnome 3's transitions (not being as smooth as before).

  • Serious problem with my RADEON MOBILITY on TECRA A5

    Hi
Yesterday windows rebooted after recuperation from an error caused by ATI RADEON MOBILITY and now i have some graphic problems on my screen, I`m looking for the latest driver of my RADEON MOBILITY X600 but when I tried to install it from ATI website it wasn't accepted by my computer
Can you help me to resolve my problem please?
    Excuse my bad English......
    Thanks

    Hello Rasta
Like you can see you can not install ATI driver. Please dont understand it as a problem or something unusual. His is normal and on this way the hardware will be protected. Please use Toshiba designed driver. It will not force the graphic card on the limit and avoid overheating.
I recommend you to remove preinstalled driver and install Toshiba one. This driver is tested and will work properly. If you dont have it you can find all you need on Toshiba download page.
    Bye

  • IdeaPad Y570 - hybrid drive dual-boot ? ( Win 7 + Debian )

Hello, I've tried to find specific information but none was found so I've made this topic.
    My question is.
Is it possible to dualboot on Y570 with hybrid drive (SSD 32GB + 750GB HDD)?
I've have my Windows 7 already installed and used. I have 2 partitions - C (the biggest 690GB - Win installed + data) and D (from lenovo - drivers, utilities...)
I haven't change any setting with partitions.
I would love to split the biggest drive C into 2 smallers - one with Win 7 another with Debian installed.
I prefer NOT to install Win 7 again. I just want to create new partition, install Debian on it and have dual-boot system. I don't need One Key recovery system.
Another question is, how will the SSD work with Debian? If not, I can live through that, but I would prefer if it works at least for Win 7, just like now.
I've read that Optimus is not working under Linux. Okay, no problem, but can the external graphic card be disabled at least in Linux?
To sum up, my goal is to have Linux without formating drive / without reinstalling Win 7. Is it even possible?
It's pretty complex question and thanks for anserws.

ratchet wrote:II am able to install and run arch by installing grub to the mbr. when I do this, though, I cannot boot windows. (the windows section of grub menu.lst is uncommented and points toward hda0,0. I have tried hda 0,1 as well).
Is this a typo in your post or how it was in menu.lst? Surely it should be hd0,0 and not hda0,0? The entry I have in my menu.lst is as follows:
    # (2) Windows
    title Windows
    rootnoverify (hd0,0)
    makeactive
    chainloader +1
    What was yours?
