Radio button in BEx variable screen

I want in a report to find the value of Key figure in absolute or not .
There must be a radio button in the varible screen to populate KF either in absolute or as it is .
Display absolute ( Yes or No) : .......
If yes it will show the KF only in absolute else it will show only as it is .
How should I approach ?

create two kf.
1st, your kf.
2nd (calculated) as absolute value of your 1st kf.
put a radio button, in design mode, under dimensions choose key figures.
switch off design mode.

Bring radio buttons structure from another screen

Hi there,
I have been looking without sucess on how to bring information from different transaction on a single screen - the Personas concept; so far OK, until I needed to bring the radio buttons information from my PA20 to my original screen.
I tried to copy the radion button structure from the PA20 - infotype 331,and paste it to my newly created radio button on my main screen..but the result only contain the title.
Does any one have a clue on this?

You cannot move screen elements from one screen to another using Personas.
What you could do is defining custom screen objects (such as the group box and the radio buttons), then use scripting to navigate to the standard screen, read the radio button settings then navigate back to your consolidation screen and set the custom radio buttons according to the retrieved values.

Connection between 2 variables in bex variables screen

Can anyone help me please with the following scenario?
I need to create a connection between 2 variables in BEx variables screen.
Example:
2 variables in the selection screen:
Prod Hier. 1
Prod Hier. 2
When a user make a selection in the first var. (Prod Hier. 1) in the var screen, i need that the F4 help in the second variable will show only the Prod Hier. 2 that is under Prod Hier. 1.

When creating a replacementpath variable you don't have the option to make it depends on other variable entry (i didn't find the option) I'm using BEx 7
Answer:
In BI7.0 Query designer, replacement path with other variable entry is possbile.

replacement path with variable will not suit your requirement as far as i know.. any way let us wait for other experts reply...might be someonw knowing.

Hi Experts,
Can we able to change the size/font of the Bex query variable screen?. I have a requirement where lot of variables used but query variable screen is not showing up all the variables including the 'execute,cancel, check' menu buttons.
Is there any way, I can customize the screen?.

If i click Collection plan the report output should come based on the input parameters in first selection-screen block.

BEx variable screen to exclude values from selection

Hi,
I have a requirement in the BEx report variable screen here my user want to select values for the variable and
from the values in selection on right hand user wants to exclude few values.I want the red color exclude button to appear in the screen.can anyone tell me whether there are any commands in WAD for variable personalization.

Check Box or Drow Radio Button on Bex Query

Hi Experts,
Does anyone know to how to put a "Check Box" or "Drow Radio Button" variable on query selection screen?
The user want to switch the order data between open and completed on a same report by a check box / radio button.

Why don't you directly use a var on Actual Delivery Date & include/exclude on # cases to report open/closed shipments.
Alternatively, You can achieve the same without making changes to backend, if you are ok with using WAD. In WAD 7, you can use a DropDown webitem instead of a RadioButton/Checkbox webitem since you cannot assign a Command on selection from a RadioButton/Checkbox webitem. Also, you would need to design the same in a web template since this will not be made available on your query selection screen.
In the DropDown webitem, use Data Binding Type -> 'Fixed List of Options' , here you can configure
Open -> under Action use Command 'SET_SELECTION_STATE_SIMPLE', choose your Actual Delivery Date char, Sign -> INCLUDING, Operator -> Equals, Equals -> Member Name, Member Name -> Direct Input -> # [Not Assigned]
Closed -> under Action use Command 'SET_SELECTION_STATE_SIMPLE', choose your Actual Delivery Date char, Sign -> EXCLUDING, Operator -> Equals, Equals -> Member Name, Member Name -> Direct Input -> # [Not Assigned]
Now when the user selects Open option from the DropDown webitem, the data provider query will be filtered for open shipments & vice versa for Closed option.

Display message in BEx variable screen in 7.0

In BEx 3.5 I was able to display a message to the user when they enter a value they are not authorized for in the variable screen. This was done using the function module RRMS_MESSAGE_HANDLING in the variable user exit at step 3 and raising no_replacement.
This is no longer working as of BEx frontend 7.0. Is there a way (or different function module) I can display a message to the users on the variable screen?

Radio buttons & Parameters in Selection Screen...

Hi all,
I have a case in Selection Screen :
There are 2 radio buttons(R1 & R2) and 4 parameters (P1, P2, P3, P4).
WHen i select R1 then P1 and P2 should become mandatory
when i select R2 then P1, P2, P3 & P4 should become mandatory.
I have coded it using LOOP AT SCREEN ...
So, by default R1 will be selected then P1, P2 will become mandatory. Now when i select R2, it gives an status message as 'FILL IN THE REQUIRED FIELDS' .....So how can i overcome this and be able to select R2 which enables P1, P2, P3,P4 as mandatory ?

      b) WIthoug displaying any Error Meassage as 'FILL IN ALL REQUIRED ENTRY FIELDS'.
      c) P1 P2 P3 P4 should become mandatory

Creating Radio Button on Module pool Screen

Hi Gurus,
I am currently working on a program which involves module pool selection screen. In my selection screen i have placed 2 radio buttons, i have kept these radio buttons in same group. But when i am running the program both the radio buttons appear as checked. Could any one help me on that.......I need only one radio button to be checked at a time ..

IT IS HIGHLY IMPOSSIBLE THAT BOTH OF THE RADIOBUTTONS ARE CHECKED.
and there is no chance that both the radiobuttons are in two different groups since in a single group minimum 2 radiobuttons should be there.
check you coding.or if required redraw the radiobuttons. and select the radiobuttons properly while grouping them together..after grouping you will see dotted lines aroung them.

Hi,
go to se51 screen layou and select the four radio button and right click there is a option called assigned group name..
enter the group name..
from now onwards it allows you to select only one radio button at a time..

Bex variable screen

Hello gurus:))
I've the folloeing question:
I have user exit variable which is ready for input.
There after the input step I want to check the values and acording the check results proceed or pop up the error message and cause the variable screen to appear.
So:
- How can I cause to pop up the error message from user exit code?
- How can I cause the variable screen to appear from the user exit code ?(Should I RAISE some kind of exception - which one ?)?
