Radio button in module pool programming

Hello,
Am placing 4 radio button when designing in module pool but at
run time all radio button are getting marked i want only first radio button to be marked and remaining to be with visible but not highlighted plz let me know wht to do in PBO event.

Goto to screenpainter of that screen .
Drag and select all the Radio Buttons .
Goto Edit>Grouping>Radiobutongroup-->Define.
Now see the Output.

    For radion buttons, what ever the name you will give that name only will hold that value ( Either selected or not ). But this variable should be declared as global variable in main program.
    Still if you want to assign function code, you can assign one like other fields on the screen.

  • How to define RADIO BUTTONS in MODULE POOL PROG.?

    I need to keep the RADIO BUTTONS in 1000_screen of my_module_pool prog., like,
    I hv 2 fields in this screen, as expected, the first shuld hv DEFAULT selection.
    So, I just simply, dragged & dropped 2 radio buttons from left menu of the screen builder & given them the  names as
    R_SUMMARY
    R_DETAIL
    Then i executed the transaction, but, these above 2 fields are getting selected, as default??
    I know that, if its a REPORT prog. we can define as w/ a GROUP, then the 1st one is hv the default selection.
    so,
    1  - How to define RADIO BUTTONS in this screen of a module pool prog.
    2 - How to use these names in the prog.(PAI - i guess)?

    Hi naren,
    In the layout of screen painter click on radiobutton option in the left icons and create in the layout and give name as Radio1 and again select the radiobutton icon and create another and give the name as radio2 and by dragging the cursor select the 2 radiobuttons and goto menubar->edit->grouping->radiobuttons grouping->define.
    Double clcik on the 2 radiobuttons and give FCT code for the coding purpose of the 2 radiobuttons.

    But how do i do it in module pool programming.

    IT IS HIGHLY IMPOSSIBLE THAT BOTH OF THE RADIOBUTTONS ARE CHECKED.
    and there is no chance that both the radiobuttons are in two different groups since in a single group minimum 2 radiobuttons should be there.
    check you coding.or if required redraw the radiobuttons. and select the radiobuttons properly while grouping them together..after grouping you will see dotted lines aroung them.

    assign a Function Code for one of the radio buttons(It allows for only one Radio Button)
    This triggers automatic PAI so when you take the F4 Help this is readily available
    In TOP include make sure you define the variables corresponding to the Radio buttons on the screen and also provide default value X to one of the Radio buttons

    1)  i appended a structure in table LFA1 having two fields A and B.
    2)  then i went to IMG-> Logistic -> Business Partner-> Vendor -> Adoption of Customer's Own Master Data Fields -> Prepare     Modification-Free Enhancement of Vendor Master Record ( Here i created my screen group Z1 without Function Code.
    3) then i created below module pool program. of screen 9999 and in layout i added to fields to display A and B which i appended.

       as subscreen or vice versa, an error occurs.
      The screen "ZSNAK_XK01" 9999 has, in this respect, an inappropriate screen
       type.

    I think you have defined the screen 9999 as normal screen. go to attributes tab of the screen and make it as "subscreen' (radio button) and activate

    Click on the Create shortcut icon on the toolbar.
    In the popup window choose "System command" and in the command enter "/h"
    A shortcut on the desktop would be created
    Drag and drop the shortcut to the modal window to set debugging on.
    Approach 2:
    Create a txt file on the desktop with the following lines:

  • Pop-up in module pool program

    I created a module pool program for inserting/changing/deleting a database record through a table control on a screen. Now everything is working fine. When I executed that module pool program by a transaction (there is only one screen in this program which has table control on it), I would like that screen to come-up as a pop-up which I am not able to figure how to do it. Any ideas?
    Help is appreciated.

    in se51 create the screen , and check the radio button Dialog box. and place alll the components...and then save /activate it.
    now in your program call the screen like this..
    call screen 200 starting at 1 5  
                    ending at 30 20.

  • Doubt in Radiobutton handling in Module-pool program

    Hi Experts,
    I have requirement in where in a module pool screen I am creating two Radio-buttons say R1 and R2 under one group.
    When I do this the first radio button R1 is by default gettimg checked. What is that I need to do for making secand radiobutton R2 by default getting cheked.....?
    Please note that it is in Module-pool not a Report.
    Kindly help me out in this aspect.

    Hi,
    You can set check/uncheck value of radio buttons in PBO.
    But that check box button should be declared in main program(se38) also.
    for e.g
    data: R1 type c,
            R2 type c.
    declare above in your main program.
    now go to se51. In layout go to Dictionary/Program fields or press F6.
    Now click on Get from program button and drag R1,R2 to your layout.
    Now right click on it and under convert option you will get radio button.
    In main program under PBO make that radio button check.
    Loop at screen.
    if screen-name = 'R2'.
        R2 = 'X'.
    endloop.
    Modify Screen.
