Radio genres not showing up - no access to stations!

Hi,
If anyone can help me with this frustrating problem, I'd much appreciate it!
I'm a new user of itunes (using windows xp professional), and would like to access streaming radio stations... however, when I click on the 'Radio' option in the source panel, I don't get the list of genres as I understand should happen.
Checked the basics out - turned off my anti-virus app, checked the itunes parental control settings, google'd until my eyes turned red...
Any idea why I can't get this to work?

I'm having the exact same problem. The radio function works fine on my older laptop which has had iTunes installed for close to two years now, but I just installed iTunes on my other machine and it will not bring up the stream list when I click on "Radio".
Checked all the settings, parental controls, etc. and all the settings are identical on both machines, so I don't see where the problem is.
Any ideas out there? Anyone know the file that the category list is locally stored in so maybe I can copy it from the working computer to the one that won't retrieve it?

ITunes Radio is not showing up on my iPad

iTunes Radio is not showing up on my iPad now. It was there after my iOS 7 upgrade. Can't find it now. Please help. Thanks.

It was there after you updated to iOS 7? You do know that iTunes Radio is only available in the USA right now. If you are certain that you should have it or that you did have it before, close the music app and reboot the iPad and them look again.
Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Custom Genre Not Showing Up In Apple's Music App [02/20/2015]

Hello, I have the iPad mini 2 Model: A1489 16GB @ iOS 8.1.3
I have made 2 custom genres that show up just fine in the Genres tab with every song belonging to these respectable genres. I also have 'Instrumental' and 'Piano' genres that I'm not sure if qualifies as custom genres, but they work well too.
However, my latest custom genre 'A Cappella' is not showing up with the rest of the genres. The 1 album that I have for this genre shows up in the Albums tab and the songs show up in the Songs tab. The album also shows up after selecting the artist in the Artists tab, but does not show up in Genres.
There are 2 songs in this genre, but they are my favorite and I want to be able to get to them quickly. ^.^
The genre does show up in iTunes, Windows Media Player, and the Meta Data is all there when I look at the properties of the files. I can't seem to find out what other differences the working genres' and the non-working genre's songs have except that they have different genres.
Every song on my Ipad has the same Artist. <<<<(If that helps....)

Username not showing up in access log for authenticated users

I'm using form-based authentication in a Java web application on Sun One Web Server v6.1 to restrict access to authenticated users. However, even after the users authenticate and access the application, the username field in the access log is showing them as anonymous.
request.getRemoteUser() is reporting the correct username, so it just seems to be the access log that is in error. Right now it is set to the default but changing formats to custom doesn't seem to help in displaying the username.
Here's an excerpt from the access log:

Some background:
The Java Servlet container has its own authentication infrastructure (which is what you configure in web.xml) which is separate from the non-Java authentication infrastructure (ACLs, etc.). If you set up authentication via ACLs the resulting user identity can (though you may configure it not to) propagate to the Java Servlet container such that request.getRemoteUser() will return it, even though no web.xml-driven authentication occurred. The coverse is not true, however: if you authenticate via a Java Realm, based on web.xml configuration, that user identity is not available to non-Java code.
(Your web.xml snippet doesn't show you using FORM auth - but it doesn't matter, the explanation above applies in any case.)
That is why the log file (generated from non-Java code) doesn't have access to that user. It probably should, but there's no config option today for you to make that happen.
If you're using BASIC auth you may consider moving the authentication configuration from web.xml to ACLs as a possible workaround. It will then show up in the access logs.
If you prefer web.xml-based authentication, consider the <SECURITY audit="true"> option in server.xml. It won't be in the access log but you'll have an audit trail of authentications, which may help.

View RX neighbors for selected radio does not show any information

For some but not all of our WLCs, our WCS is not able to View RX neighbors for selected Radio in the maps.
WLC is running 4.1.171-code, WCS is using 4.1.83 Base+Location.
I use Monitor-Maps, slecet a map and hover with my mouse over one of the APs to select "View RX-neighbors".
The error-message appearing is:
"There are no RX neighbors for selected radio."
Who knows help about this ?

Hi. I've run into this before with one 1242 AP in LWAPP mode. I was running 4.1.171.0 on my 4402 WLC. I had users report a dead spot in the plant and when I looked at the heat map it told me the following. The A radio was not detected. The BG radio was detected but did not have any client counts on it. Also when I told the AP to view RX neighbors it said that there were no RX neighbors for the selected radio. I thought the AP had a hardware failure due to the fact that the 1242 doesn't have the modular radios like the first gen 1200's. So, I had the unit replaced with a brand new one. When I had the chance to TFTP recover the original, the A radio was detected again. I converted the AP back to LWAPP and it worked without any issues. I attribute this to a bad LWAPP upgrade / code corruption. I'd recommend to TFTP recover one of the AP's and set it back up again in LWAPP mode to see if the problem is resolved. Hope this helps!

Movie Genre not showing

I have iTunes 11.0.1 on an iMac. When I import an MPEG4, then select "Get Info", the genre category shows only music genres and I can't get the movie genres; how do I change this?
The Media Kind under Options is set to "Movie"...

You type the Genre you want to the Movie to be into the Genre text field.

Playlists and genres not showing properly on Sonos?

I create my own genres in iTunes and also heavily use playlists.
I have bought Sonos 5 but neither genres nor playlists are displaying correctly on Sonos.
For instance, old genres are showing on Sonos that I have since replaced with new ones on iTunes - it's all a bit if a mess.
I have reloaded and updated etc but still no luck.
I'm aware I have to point Sonos at my .xml file, although I actually have 2 .xml files:
1) Music>iTunes>iTunes Library.xml (this is an "XML document" modified in Oct 2010), and
2) Music>iTunes>iTunes Music>iTunes Music Library.xml (this is an "XML text" file that was modified today).
I've have pointed Sonos at both files but it makes no difference.
Any other ideas how I can fix it?

Really appreciate if somebody has a view on deleting the .xml file.
Intuitively I feel like I should leave it alone, as I've had no issues with iTunes since I reinstated the 3,000 tracks.
However, it appears the file isn't being used and may resolve the issue with Sonos.
Any thoughts welcome.

ALL RADIO BUTTONS NOT SHOWING UP ON WEBSITES

WHEN I LOAD SOME WEB PAGES NOT ALL RADIO BUTTONS SHOW UP. HAVE TO SCROLL ALL OVER PAGE TO SEE IF ANYTHING SHOWS UP. IT HAPPENS ON A LOT OF SITES.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Windows Accessibility settings.

ACS 5.2 NDG Locations not showing up in Access Policies

When I add locations under Network Device Groups and then try and use them in my Access Policies they don't show up. It just says "No data to display". If I try and recreate them I get an error "Object you are trying to Create already exists.' but it is blank. I can run an export and they show up in the CSV file but they don't show up anywhere on the GUI. I have deleted the file and recreated with the same result.
I have been searching all over for anyone with a similar situation but have come up empty. Any thougts?

I have recollections about two issues related to this:
- If there are mutliple attributes with the same name as the NDG. Eg if create a user attribute called "Locations" it can cause problems. Can be resolved by renaming the attribute
- Could be issues if word "system" appears in NDG node name
Not 100% sure for these (disclaimer) but wanted to mention in case it gives some pointers

Radio LOV not showing the retrieved value

I have a radio button with 3 options: STATIC2:One;1,Two;2,Three;3
On "load after header", I run a retrieve that populates all the fields on the screen, including this field. The session state has this correct value but the radio button that matches the value does not get "selected". (So the session state value is 3, but no radio is marked.)
I changed it to a select list and chose option TWO. After I save, the DB gets the correct value, and when I reload the page, the session state also has the value 2, but the select list still shows ONE
How do I make the correct radio button/select list item get marked when the data is loaded? I've tried every combination of Source that I can think of (always load, only load when null, static assignment, DB column, etc... nothing works).
If I change it to a text field, it does show the right value from the DB.
(APEX 3.1.1 Oracle 10g)

It still doesn't work with those settings. In debug, it shows that the "value" is 2 but the select list will only show the first item in the list (in this case it's 1). I can't think why this would be occurring, is there some other setting that one can change to make select lists show properly (no select lists in tabular forms will show properly either, but I figured that was related to the tabular form, not to the select list)
ETA: I think it might have something to do with the column originally being a char, instead of a number. I changed the column datatype and made a dynamic lov based on this and it works now.

Not showing top 10 access rule after upgrade to 9.1(5)

I have recently upgraded ASA 5505 from 8.2 to 9.1 and the ASDM to 7.3 but I can no longer can view the Top 10 Access Rules on the home tab. Is it a bug or do I have to enable anything?
I hope someone can help.

Unable to determine corresponding access rule The configuration in ASDM may be out of sync with the device. Please refreah configuration and try again

Authenticated User not showing up in access log

Hello all,
I am trying to get authenticated users to show up in the access log of SunOne Web Server 6.1 SP4 and it doesn't work. It is a default paramter to show up in the access log but doesn't show in the log. In fact, when I set the log to only show the authenticated user in the log, the log is empty and only shows dashes. As you can in the part of the log file below, after the IP address the log should show the authenticated user but doesn't
Any help? Do I need to modify something else in a configuration file?

You didn't say how the server is authenticating the user. Is it succesful? ACLs or Java?
6.1sp4 is obsolete, update to the latest 6.1 service pack first. If you're using Java, I believe there was a bug years ago that was along the lines of your description. Update to the latest 6.1 service pack and if that doesn't solve the problem, provide more details on how the authentication is configured.

Airport express will not show up as a base station in Airport utility

I just got Quest service and also Airport express. I hooked it up to my Quest internet modem and Airport Express has a steady green light. That means it is receiving a internet signal right? Then why won't the Airport utility find it as a base station? I cannot go anywhere from there, as far as setting up a wireless network for the airport. Am I missing a key step or what can I do? HELP!

Have you tried temporarily connecting the AirPort Express (AX) via Ethernet to your Mac to configure it?
