Radio has no stations

I have recently installed the new Itunes and the radio stations are not showing up. I have reinstalled and repaired Itunes and still nothing. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have had the same problem with the added caveat of the radio option in Pref:View being grayed out.

ITunes radio has deleted my station

I keep trying to load 80s rock radio but the station is "unavailable temporarily" and then after I clicked OK the station was deleted

I have had the same issue. iTunes Radio deleted my favorite station (Chillout - Singer/Songwriter) and now I can't get it back. In fact there are only four stations in the Singer/Songwriter section when there used to be around twenty. This is very disappointing if the radio on iPhones is going to be reduced. I hope they bring it back I subscribed to Match for this service deleting Pandora but I may go back if they continue to remove stations.

I don't know if this is what you really want, but I created a Playlist for Radio, and add some of the stations I like from websites. (If you click on the web-links they load into iTunes in the Sidebar). And you can also add individual Radio stations from the top right,(under Apple) to a Playlist. That's the only way I know to have them in the Sidebar.
Z_ZS-B, You also helped me to find the old Radio list! I didn't even know it was up on the right, under Apple. I haven't liked this version of iTunes so I hadn't even bothered to try and figure it out until now, but because I just bought a my first iPod Shuffle I'm determined to bend this version to my will. ;-)

FM radio has dissappeared

The FM radio has 'disappeard' from my nano. I successfully downloaded the latest software version a couple of weeks ago and all was still working fine. Help

Sounds like you may have turned the icon off.
Go to settings>General>Home Screen. There, make sure the switch next to "Radio" is on.

How to play radio w/docking station

Nano 4th gen uses the head phones for the antenae. The head phones must be unplugged to attach the nano to the sound dock. I've seen base extender cables. My question is, with a base extender cable connection between the nano and sound dock can the head phones still connect and then will radio stations play through the sound dock speakers?

No, once you plug in the headphones the output will be routed to them. If you sound dock has an auxiliary in port you can use a miniplug to miniplug cable to connect them and servce as the antenna.

Internet radio has stopped working

Hi all, A couple days ago internet radio on my Nokia X6 has stopped working. 3G connection is established, stations load, I can see that data is being downloaded (using data counter). But I hear nothing. I checked my earphones and other stations as well. My FM receiver works OK, if relevant. Can anyone confirm that internet radio is working? Or is this service closed??

Nokia Internet Radio - list of stations

The Internet Radio app for s60.3.2 has a list, provided by a Nokia server, that can display stations by genre, country, etc. and can also be searched. It is VERY outdated (much more so than the corresponding database for podcast search) and I'm wondering if there might be an alternate service. If so, how does one access the URL for the radio search server?

ITunes radio: Keep getting " Station name Radio is currently unavailable. Try again later" errors

This is on my Apple TV (Gen 3), all updated. When I play the "Nursery Rhymes" radio station, it'll play one song and then go back to the iTunes Radio screen (out of the station screen). There will be no audio but the 'speaker' icon will be under the Radio station (as if it's playing).
Attempting to play that station again always gives the same error i.e. "Nursery Rhymes Radio is currently unavailable. Try again later".
How can this be fixed? My son gets pretty upset when his station stops working ....

I'm experiencing the same issue. One of my stations fails to play on my Apple TV (Gen 2) with the same message. I tried the following without any success:
• restarting my Apple TV
• logging out of and back into my iTunes account
I *am* able to play that same station from iTunes on my MacBook Pro and send it to the Apple TV via AirPlay, but I can't get it to play straight from the Apple TV.

Start with creating a new network location and then try to connect to your network. Also check the settings of your router to ensure a proper connection.

FM Radio why no station at 96.0khz?

Sansa Clip... Where my favourite station should be (96.0khz) is a 'silent noise space', maybe the odd 'squeak'!. All other fm radios in the house put the station at that frequency as normal, with a perfect reception. Tried auto tuning, and manual tuning. All other channels seem to be there as normal. It happens at all locations (different towns). I have tried a full factory reset, different headphones, to no avail. Bizarre! Can the 96.0khz space be somehow damaged on my unit? Any suggestions?

I have tried this, still no signal for BBC Radio 4Wikipedia says that in Northern Ireland (where I live) BBC Radio 4 is broadcast at 125 power whereas all the other BBC channels are 250 power...not sure what the measurement is!!, but that might expain it. Radio 4 is not as strong a signal, and the radio in this unit is just not strong enough to pick up thatsignal. Interesting though that a Poundland radio can pick it up... I think I'll return this and buy a different one. Thanks for your help

Network keeps stalling in itunes radio on specific stations only!!!!! Argh

Why is it that I'm unable to ever listen to specific radio stations on itunes? It consistently plays anywhere from a minute or less up to a few minutes and then starts reports stalling and rebuffers. This only happens on specific stations, in particular, ABF radio-electronic category-all bit streams, 192, 24,160. Can someone reply and let me know if there is anything I can do as far as maybe changing/tweaking settings or any other alternate solution. BTW, I have a PC and I'm using Windows XP, Media Center edition.

You can try adjusting the Buffer settings in iTunes Preferences -> Advanced tab -> "Streaming Buffer Size". Try each of the settings to see if changes the playback success.
But, the more likely cause is either that you're hitting a station that's using an under-powered server or your path to them on the Internet traverses some poor links. Nothing you can do about either of those issues.

I have iTunes on the Mac at my work. I've been using the radio thing on it for about 9 years and suddenly it quit.
The screen makes it look as if it's playing but I hear nothing. Tried new earphones but still hear nothing.

Hi. I had the same problem, and after an afternoon of digging and changing configurations I figured it out for my own computer - hope it works for you. Go to control panel > programs > default programs > set program access and computer defaults. You can then choose between 3 configurations: windows, non-windows, and custom. Choose custom, and under default media player, disable access to windows media player and windows media center, and choose itunes as your default. Hope it works!!

There is one part he is leaving out.… you have to hold the lock and home button down until the apple appears. Then let go and let your phone boot up normally. This will solve the problem. I just did it and had the same problem you did until I did the hard reboot and then it worked.
