RAID ALERT: (0x0008/3) - Battery needs replacement - SOH Bad

I've installed a new C350 recently. After a few days, I receive a warning message from IronPort (RAID ALERT: (0x0008/3) - Battery needs replacement - SOH Bad). What does it mean? Is it a hardware failure?

This indicates that the RAID battery is fully discharged and cannot be charged. Essentially, a bad RAID battery. I would recommend getting in touch with Ironport support to get the appropriate RMA initiated.

  • I bought my iphone 5s in USA  and now i have come back to my country, India. My iPhone 5s battery needs replacement what should I do?

    Hello!
My iPhone 5s battery needs replacement and I am not sure where to buy it from. I bought the phone when I was in USA but mow I am in my home country India and I am confused how to find an Apple Store in India so that I can get my phone repaired or battery replaced by them.
    Waiting for suggestions.

The Warranty on phones is not international.  You will need to send the phone to someone in the US to start the replacement process (or repair), and when they receive the replacement (repaired device), they will need to send it back to you.

  • Is there any way to save data(pictures and videos) on a iPhone 3GS with no backup and the battery needs replaced?

I have an iPhone 3GS, the battery is dead and needs replaced. Is there any way to have the battery replaced and save all the photos and videos that are very important of family and friends that are irreplaceable on it? There has been no back up done on the phone that I know of. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I have to think you have tried operating the iPhone with the charging cable plugged into a charger and outlet or USB.  It is likely you have tried this and it failed to operate.  Have you tried a Reset on the iPhone to see if that will cause the battery to function ling enough to do an iCloud backup or iTunes backup?

  • G72 B63NR battery needs replacement - looking for source suggestions

Original (MU06) battery finally gave it up.
Looking for 'best cost/quality/mAhr rating' replacement source.  Rarely use it on battery alone so bigger one not needed.
From the chart Provost posted link to, it appears the #'s after G72 don't mean much in this case.
Sorry but HP price is way too high for what it is.
    Anyone ever deal with 'thinkmall2011' from ebay?  Showing a 5200mAhr / 6 cell / 10.8v for under $15
    Any & all help appreciated.

The eBay "knockoff" batteries all come from similar sources. They are made in sweatshops in the Far East. Generally, they are good batteries perfectly adequate for older laptops that don't leave the desk very much. What is the worst that happens if it is bad at $15? The better ones have a 3 year warranty as does the seller you ask about, but hardly anyone ever makes a claim because it is easier to just buy another one at that price than to pay return shipping. If you look at all the eBay auctions you will notice that all the pictures and text are very similar. In other words, there seems to be a "Chinese laptop battery" consortium of some sort out there. I do buy these frequently when the situation calls for it and very, very rarely have a problem. I look for the best consistent feedback and a high score. I say go for it.

  • MacBook Pro 10,1 battery needs replaced

I have a Macbook Pro 10,1 15inch with Retina Display that is just over 12 months old.  It's been working great and now it's not holding a charge.  It says that it's at 77%, but when I click on the %, it states that the battery condition is "Replace Battery Now"  My cycle count for the battery is 178 which is well below the 1000 per the support page.  I haven't been able to get in touch with Apple Care, but it doesn't seem like the battery is accessible.
I haven't had any problems, the battery hasn't run dead; recharge when I'm hoovering around 10%.  The most recent update was the Mavericks 10.9.3 but I'm thinking that is coincidence.  Any thoughts?  I've never had any problems where I've had to deal with Apple Care, any thoughts??

    toby8myshoe,
    you can call AppleCare directly.
Retina MacBook Pros have glued-in batteries; you’ll need to go to an Apple store or Apple-authorized service center, or send your MacBook Pro to Apple, to have your battery replaced. Your battery’s life will be maximized by starting to recharge it when it gets down to 20%; running it on battery below 20% will shorten the battery’s life.

  • White macbook (I think 2006?) battery needs replacing - advice?

I see apple sells replacement batteries for $129 and amazon sells them for $49-ish. Will the amazon one really work???
    thanks!

    Hello zebulonnyc,

Yes as long as the part numbers match up with what Apple's website has for your Macbook model and it's brand new. I would be a bit more skeptical of used ones, so I would recommend staying away from those.

  • Does my battery need replaced?

    Hi all,
My HP dv7 notebook is almost 2 yrs old. Lately, my battery hasn't been able to maintain a charge past 85%, and the maximum charge / battery time limit has been decreasing over a couple of months. I've finally found out about the HP Support Assistant, then ran a battery check.
    Here are my results:
How do they look? "Charge capacity 68%??"
Before I even found out about this nifty HP battery check program, I had bought a new battery for my laptop. I just opened it today, popped it into my laptop, and ran a battery check on it too:
How does *that* look??? That's an old battery they gave me, haha.... but higher charge capacity. o.O
Should I keep the online-ordered battery, and save it for later? Or shall I send it back for a refund, for now?
What can I do? I just recently thought it might be my power cord too. Shall I order one, and that'll do the trick?
Please let me know your thoughts and any advice. Thanks in advance,
    katsumii
    Edit: Edited for additional information

    Hello Katsumii,
You state that you are having issues with your battery, is that corret? I will be happy to help you.
You can calibrate the battery (the original battery), and then completely charge it up. Also you can update the BIOS if an update is available.
Me personally I would keep the 2nd battery as a backup.
Clicking the White Kudos star on the left is a way to say Thanks!

  • My ZTE OPEN Firefox OS 'phone battery needs replacing; where can I get a new one?

I have been searching the web all morning without success. The old battery model is Li3712T42P3h654246h. It has been short-lived from the beginning but now loses charge within 48 hours even when unused with everything switched off. Has it been superceded perhaps by a different model? Websites don't give dimensions or connector positions so i cannot try alternatives.

  • What can I do: Macbook Battery need replace at 103 cycle

I have my Macbook late-2006 and suddenly the battery do not charge at cycle 103.
I tried to talk to guys at Apple Store but the only thing they can do is to sell me a new battery.
In fact, the battery was in recall before 2009 but I was not be able to send it back at that time.
If the battery die only at cycle 103, is this normal? feel so upset...

If you have a MacBook with the removable battery you can get a new third party battery fairly cheap on eBay.

Can Apple replace my macbook pro (mid 2012) retina's battery if I think that the battery health has gone bad/in need of and renewal???
I've had my Macbook for about 11 months now and i use it every day; its gone though about 420 cycles of charging and using the power, and i noticed the battrey preformance has decreased (as expected). The problem isn't sevear yet but it would comfort me knowing that i could replace the battery in the near future
Please contact me or answer the question if you know anything about this!

No only if they think under warranty/AppleCare, but your likely able to pay for a new battery if they have them, which they might not yet since it's such a new machine still.
BTW, I have a Early 2011 17" MBP, 27 months old, charges to 97% and has only 14 cycles.

  • Primary Internal Battery needs to be replace?????????

Ok so it comes up saying Primary internal battery 601???? but my notbook is like 2 years old how can the battery be dead? can some plz help me out heres he info on my notbook its a hp pavilion dv7 plz any help would be great

Yes, mine has been saying the same thing for a little while also.  It's also a little over two years old.  I like HP, but their parts are wearing out quickly.  Best Buy tried to tell me my motherboard needed replaced last year for $900 - I left it alone until it started acting up again this year, and it's a $10 inverter that is causing the problem.  I have no idea about this primary internal battery yet - I'll be doing some more looking to resolve this for myself as well.

  • Have a message on startup," low internal battery". Need replacement and instructions on replacing

HP Pavilion dv7-1127d, Vista Home Premium 64 bit edition.  Message on start up "low battery, internal".  Need replacement part identifcation and replacement instructions.

Sounds like your iCloud backup isn't happening.
Check Settings / icloud / storage & backup.  See if you have enough available storage.  If you don't, you will need to purchase additional storage (First 5GB is free), or alter your backup settings to free up space.  Camera Roll is the biggest offender.

My iPods camera, speaker  don't work and the battery needs to be replaced, if I send it into apple will they fix it all?

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $199 for 64 GB 4G and $99 for the other 4Gs. They do not fix yours.
