  • 64-bit RAID drivers problem on Qosmio F30 during WinXP installation

I am trying to install Windows XP 64-bit on my Qosmio F30-140, so I used Windows Vista 64-bit RAID drivers. The windows setup loaded the drivers successfully from USB-FDD, but after I choose C: partition to install the windows and the setup started I got the following message " Setup cannot copy the file: KR10N64.sys ".
    Please advise .

download the driver again and try to put it on another clean formated floppy disk
put all the files on the root of the floppy disk
and try to reply to this message ;)

  • Need systemboard Qosmio F30-111

    Hello,
I need a new systemboard for a Qosmio F30-111?(PQF30E-00Z00QDU). The videocard is defective. I live in the Netherlands and it is impossible to find a new systemboard. Can somebody help me to find one or companies who can fix it like they do in the UK. In the UK you have a company who can fix it without replacing the mainboard (http://www.laptoprepair1.co.uk/laptop-vga-video-repair.html) but they only repair it for citizens in the UK only.
    Thanks in advance,
    Charles

Wait a moment buddy. This is international forum and here are so many people from different countries all over the world. Why should someone from South Africa or Columbia search such company for you?
You know your language and use Google to find this. Nederland is small country and it is possible that such company does not exist. Maybe you will have more luck in Germany.
Ok, at the end I hope someone will have time to search it for you.
    Good luck!

  • Display drivers for linux

I have Toshiba Satellite P20, and I would like to install debian or mandrake distribution, however there is serious problem with display configuration. I cannot set proper screen resolution. Does anybody know where I can get drivers for linux?? Graphic chip is GeForce FX Go5200 with atypical screen resolution 1440:900 pixels.

    Hi MichalDyzma,
months ago I had the same problem with a toshiba notebook of a friend. He wants to install also a linux distribution and I found a very good linux page from toshiba.
Maybe your model is also listed as linux compatible!?!
Here is the link www.toshiba-tro.de then go to Operating

  • Re: Need mainboard for my Qosmio F30

Hi! I think it is standard problem- overheating GPU. I can remove motherboard by myself.
Where can I find Motherboard for Toshiba Qosmio F30-141 FUHSY2 A5A001825130?

    Hello
I assume that Ika7 has already bought a new mainboard because the thread is from February 2009.
As Raver posted you have two possibilities:
    -eBay (second hand)
    -Authorized Service Provider (new part)
Furthermore the ASP can exchange the mainboard for you because its a little bit tricky and you have to remove a lot of screws.

  • Where to get drivers for XP Qosmio E10-1KCDE

Just reinstalled my windows XP OS because the old OS crashed.
Where can I download the drivers for E10-1KCDE notebook?
    tia

    Hi
The Toshiba European driver page provides the Win XP drivers for the Qosmio E10 PQE10E series.
Maybe Im wrong but I believe that the Dynabook Qosmio E10-1KCDE series seems to be a Japanese model.
So Im not quite sure if the XP drivers from the European page will run on this notebook model. Nevertheless, you could try to install some single driver. Maybe you are a lucky man and the drivers will be compatible.

  • JDBC Drivers for Linux

How come Oracle's web site only has downloads for NT and Solaris. Where do I get the latest JDBC driver for Linux?

You should be able to use clases111.zip from AIX or NT with your
Linux client, just copy the file, and add it to your CLASSPATH.
I'm using classes111.zip from AIX (8.1.5) on NT and Win95
    clients.
This will work for the thin client, the oci8 needs SQL*Net
(and some more support libs.) installed to work

  • K9N Neo-F v.3: what RAID drivers for the floppy?

I downloaded the drivers that are suppose to be for the floppy install during the windows XP setup (using f6).  I found these by using the MSI website and searching for drivers for my motherboard model.  It specifically says they are raid drivers for floppy disk.  After unzipping this file, it creates a main folder called WinXP.  There are two subfolders inside that called "sata_ide" and "sataraid".
now, from my experience windows has to see these drivers on the root of A:\ during installation.  Righ off the bat, I can tell this zip file is improperly formated to be used with a floppy for windows XP installation.  The files within the two subfolders are named the same, so you cant just place all of these drivers on the root drive without overwriting them.
So, I made 3 floppies.  On one floppy I followed the directions given on the site where I downloaded the zip file:  Unzip the file and copy all files to the floppy.  This meant sub folders and all.  I created another floppy with ONLY the sataraid drivers directly in the root of A:.  I created a third with only the sata_ide drivers directly on the root of A:
I created my striped array using 2 WD SATA II drives.  Status is healthy.  Upon installing windows, I hit f6 and inserted my floppy when prompted.  None of the floppies I created worked.  I even went the extra step and formatted and created partitions on each drive.  Still no dice.
I need to know EXACTLY how to create the driver disk for this motherboard.  Links to the drivers or any extra information is greatly appreciated.  Anyone with experience in this realm on this particular motherboard, Id like to hear from you.
Oddly enough, I was able to build a RAID/0 config using an LSI PCI Raid controller and two Ultra 320 SCSI Seagate Cheetahs.  Something I was told prior to that this motherboard would not be able to do.  Now here I am struggling using drivers given to me directly from MSI with HDD's the motherboard completely supports

  • Qosmio F30-112 Drivers for linux

    Hi,
I need help. I have Qosmio F30 - 112 and I have linux on my pc. I need drivers for the graphic card.
    Thank You

    Hi Coz_64,
I agree with the user above. Toshiba doesnt support linux on their computers so you have to search yourself for drivers. You should ask in Linux forum
The most users here are using preinstalled Windows version

Does anyone know where I can find linux drivers for the F20-136's tv tuner? I understand that the Qosmio Player is based on linux so presumably they do, but I have been unable to find them.
Ideally, I'm after Suse 10 compatible drivers.

  • RAID driver for Linux Assaf?

I have an 845 Ultra AR and the amount of mb's with a PDC20276 chip from promise is growing. Sadly the Promise source code are not open so the Linux community can't write any drivers on their own, nor do they support the OEM chips - this is left for the mb manufacturers themselves. The chip has Linux support according to the datasheet but I have yet to see any Linux drivers. I really want to be able to install Linux on my RAID 0 array so if you Assaf or somebody else has any way of getting some binaries or drivers for this chip I would be forever grateful. Thanx

Actually you can use the linux drivers on Promise's web site, even though you are using an OEM chipset. I've done this myself on an MSI motherboard with on-board RAID, I think the mobo was Pro266TD-Master.
The downside is that there is a limited set of distributions and kernels that are supported, at the time I had to use the RH 7.1 instead of 7.2 because the 7.2 drivers were not compiled for dual CPU support.

  • Drivers for Linux OS

    My laptop is Lenovo G570.
Lenovo didn't provide drivers and other softwares for Linux OS. As I would like to install Ubuntu, where can I get those?
I checked the website but it didn't find them for linux.

ubuntu should have everything you need already there. some lenovos (i don't know about your particular model) have issues with the uefi which is like a bios but hates linux. in this case you have to change out the grub 2 bootloader in ubuntu for grub legacy. if you run into this problem try linux mint its very similar to ubuntu minus the unity overlay, but it still runs regular grub. another problem my b570 and some v570's have is with the wireless. if you run into this issue open a terminal and type the following commands
    sudo service network-manager stop
    sudo rmmod acer_wmi
    sudo modprobe acer_wmi
    sudo rfkill unblock all
    sudo service network-manager start
    sudo rmmod -f acer_wmi
then to get the settings to stick after reboot type
    sudo su
    echo "blacklist acer_wmi" >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
    exit
and you will have working wifi
