RAID Issue

I’m having a issue that is of grave concern to me regarding my backup RAID.
I bought a large 12 TB RAID - Mercury QX2 from OWC. I partitioned it into 6 volumes and I recently erased one volume. What is concerning me now is the way the drive appears in Disk Utility.  It USED to display it like this.
QX2
    QX2_Projects
    QX2_Samples
    QX2_Storage
and so on listing each volume.
Now, QX2_540GB does NOT appear as a volume in the Finder at all!
If you have a look at the screenshot you will see that the partitions QX2_540GB and QX2_Projects are appearing as Drives, not volumes. I don’t know why it is doing this and I would like to know if this is safe or not. I would be fine erasing and reformatting the entire drive as it’s basically a clone of each of my hard drives in my mac pro but I would prefer not to.
When I select the QX2_540GB drive OR volume, it repairs EACH and EVERY volume in the QX2 drive which is rather bizarre!
I would greatly appreciate any suggestions!

Darn...Well, good luck. I haven't had issues like that, so...
But yes, you can Raid the two towers separately, then Raid them together into a Raid 50...not that i know how to do that. Hmm...I think you need a Rocket Raid for that. I seem to recall that we had that.
But there are advantages to raid striping all the drives...faster throughput for high end HD. What format are you working with? It might be more than you need. Simply raiding the towers separately would be enough for uncompressed HD.
Sorry I can't be more help.

  • P6N Diamond: RAID ISSUES!

    Hi,
I recent purchased a P6N Diamond, no matter what i do (and yes the bios has been updated), when i enable the RAID on either the ports 1-5 or the mirror on 6 & 7, the motherboard comes up wit an error for each raid device saying "no enough memory to copy PCI option ROM", besides the obvious gramatical & spelling errors through out the BIOS and Manual hehe... this problem is really annoying me.
    Heres some more info
    1.Product Type: P6N Diamond
    2.BIOS version: 1.2
    3.External VGA Type: 7800GTX, 8600GS, 8600GS, 8600GS (4 video cards running 7 monitors)
4.CPU Type: Intel Quad Core 6600
5.Memory Type: 4x1G G.Skill (Dual Channel Mode, 2x2 Matched pairs)
    6.Power Supply Type: 950w Thermaltake
    7.Operating System: XP PRO
    8.Problem Description: RAID ISSUE
Every time i enable raid in the bios, it says
'no enough memory to copy PCI Option ROM'
I require all the onboard LAN/Sound etc
and i also have 1xPCI IDE controller and 1xPCI raid controller for extra HDD space.
    Please help
    Thanks in advance;

The cause of the problem is that in order to be PC Compatible, the Option Rom space is limited to 128K.  This is true for any motherboard with PC compatible BIOS.
In the common configurations, a newer AGP card (such as a Geforce 4) will require 64K of option ROM space, so you have only 64K of option ROM space left to work with. Many SCSI, NIC with PXE, IDE RAID etc. can easily use another 40-64K of option ROM space.
By design the option ROM should shrink down to a smaller run time code after the initialization code has run. For example, some Adaptec cards will require 32K to initialize. Then they shrink down to 12K at run time; whereas some Geforce 4 cards require 64K to initialize and never release it.  Please check with the device manufacturer for the latest firmware upgrade or ask if they have a smaller option ROM available. Again, this is a limitation of the PC compatible specifications and not a failure of the motherboard BIOS.
So it's the four video cards causing the problem.

  • Disk Utility RAID Issue

I'm trying to determine if the problems that I'm encountering are a software issue or a hardware issue.
I'm setting up a Mac Pro with Leopard and have four Maxtor 6G160E0 160GB hard drives that I'm trying to set up as two Mirrored drive sets. Everything seemed to go fine, created the two mirror sets, installed Leopard, configured and tested two user accounts and Office 2004, then updated everything to the latest version. When done I shut it down planning on moving it to it's final home tonight.
But, when I turned it on both mirror sets were degraded - all four drives were still recognized as RAID slices but came up as failed in the RAID tab. I saw no errors reported in the log so I assumed that those two drives were faulty. I shut down, moved the good drives to bays 1 & 2 and rebooted.
First reboot gave me a prohibition symbol instead of the usual Apple. Powered down and on and it booted fine but the second drive came up as a failed RAID slice. Rebooted again and both were fine.
I reinstalled the two "failed" drives and reformatted them - both reformatted fine and mounted without problems. I unmounted the new partition just in case, but, when I tried to rebuild the RAIDs I get the following in the error log:

I'm at a loss at the moment. I am leaning towards bad drives, but FOUR bad drives all at once is suspicious.
I've searched for similar issues and found none so I thought I'd check here and see if anyone had any ideas.

    G'day Zeekm,
Thank you for that. I did this and it seems to work. The Disk Utility GUI does not seem to work.
    Hope this helps some one,

  • Xserve RAID issues

    Here's the situation -
We have an Xserve RAID (left side full) with 2.27TB capacity and one hot spare. The RAID has been "un-mounting" itself. When connected, it does not appear in Disk Utility nor does it register as connected to the FC controller. A reboot of the Xserve RAID resolves the problem - until it happens again. Average 1-2 days between reboot (it's happened twice.)
Any thoughts or suggestions as to what might be happening?

The first question always is - What do the logs say?
I would look for fibre channel messages as well as any drive messages - especially LIP messages. If your fibre is constantly renegotiating it can cause issues like this.
Also how does the fibre card and RAID appear in the System Profiler and what does the Fibre Utility say about your connectivity?
Do you have cables to replace and/or swap them with to eliminate them from the equation?
    Just some places to start,

  • ML110 G6 Internal RAID issues

    Heads Up:
Doing a manual install of NOWS SBE using the standard SLES 10 SP3 and OES 2 SP3 Media.
The internal raid (RAID 1+0) which is called
Smart Array B110i SATA RAID is not working.
SLES 10 SP3 with out using a driver disks, see each disk as a device /sda1 and /sdb1 and not the one logical drive.
    Done
    Fireware Updates etc
Found a USB floppy drive and used the only disk image HP have during the install this makes it worst and gives you a "No hard disk storage error"
Got a SR open with Novell.
HP at present are being unhelpful, the server is listed on the
Novell support on HP Proliant Servers
    Will keep you posted.

    Hi Adam,
    Thanks for the Heads-up.
You said you're doing a manual install from the SLES10-SP3 media so this is not really a NOWS SBE issue, although it would certainly affect NOWS SBE customers.
Have you checked to see if there is any info related to this issue in the SLES: Install-Boot forum? I seem to remember seeing some posts that reference the ML110 G6 but I can't be sure.
There are a lot of knowledgeable folks who watch that forum. They may have some experience with that machine or be able to offer some suggestions.

  • Raid issues

I've setup a raid1 mirror and it was working for a while but it appears to have stopped mirroring the data. First of all, I see two hard drives in My Computer and they do not have the same data on each of them. What's going on?

I have a similar problem. You can read the attached post.
K8N Neo2 and Mirror Raid Problems
I will try the mod bios tomorrow and post back. The one issue I can share with you is make sure your raid is on SATA3 and SATA4 with such an aggressive over clock.

  • RAID Issues - Standby Disk

I am running a PowerMac G4 with the two disks configured as a single mirrored Raid disk.
Today, the system will not boot; unable to find a disk to boot from.
Restarted system from the 10.4 install CD and using the Disk Utility I have discoverd the following:
    1. Running first aid, no problems found.
    2. Looking at the Raid Option, the following is displayed:
    a. Raid Disk status - Degraded
    b. Disk 1 Status - Standby
    c. Disk 2 Status - no problem.
I started the process of rebuilding the Disk 1 and I am waiting for it to completed (over 100GBs of info storage on system).
    I have several questions>
    1. Why doesn't the system continue to run from a single disk - Disk 2? Does one have to do something?
    2. I cannot find any information about running a system with Raid disks (software version). What do these status name mean - standy, degraded, etc. and what do you solve these issues/problems?
    Steve

good question - now if someone who only provide an answer
I just set up a mirrored FW Raid and made the array bootable. It booted but I can not tell which drive is actaully booting and which is the mirror
    1. I can't tell if the second (mirror) drive is being written to or NOT (No volume info is available/provided in disk utility). So how does one actually tell if the mirrored RAID is actually writing.
    2. If (when) Drive A (a startup drive) fails, how does one boot from the other?
IMO, Apple needs to do a MUCH better job of explaining their RAID utility and it's use.

  • MSI 990FXA-GD80 (MS-7640) Raid issues

I'm trying to reinstall my windows 7 64 bit on my MSI 990FXA-GD80 (MS-7640) in raid mode. When I'm in the installer and try to add the raid drivers it lists my controller but then BSODs right after loading the driver and yes I used the driver from the MB CD not to mention a number of others. One thing I noticed is that the drivers I found didn't exactly match the option ROM version on my board (3.3.1540.14) closest I found was either .13 or .17. Also when I went into the raid setup and tried to make a JBOD it spit out an error message saying I needed to select two disks to do that operation????? I work with a lot of different raid adapters and I've not seen that one
So any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.

  • K8N Neo2 platinum & 750g sata RAID issue

Hi there I have an issue with booting up. I have 1 200g Western digital HDD where windows is installed and I have 1 further 500g WD drive which were both fine until I decided to buy 2 samsung 750g HDD's to run in RAID. I have installed the drives in RAID and formatted but I am having a problem with booting.
If I reset, the computer keeps rebooting at the detection stage, powers off and keeps doing it over and over. Sometimes it will go through if you wait long enough. When I turn the power on and off it will go through the detection stage no worries every time but then at the XP loading screen it will freeze there. Sometimes it goes through and I will boot into XP fine and other times I can't get in.
I have the latest Bios 7025V1D but I am wondering if this issue is bios related because of the 750g size... The problem has only started since I have installed the two 750g HDD's in RAID. Does this bios version support 750g HDD's? Is there an updated BIOS to fix this problem somewhere?
I have 2gig of ram, 3500+ processor, latest Nforce3 drivers from Nvidia, RAID drives on sata ports/3/4, 500gig WD on sata port 1, 200 gig WD is HDD is IDE, Windows SP2 and all updated, ummmmmm everything else is fine I'm fairly sure.
I had a few troubles installing the RAID drivers because windows didn't want to accept the drivers I downloaded from here and did not want to accept the drivers in windows. I ended up getting it the drives to come on-line through the use of START/NVIDIA corp/ NVIDIA RAID program (cant remember the name, typing this on another computer).
Any ideas would be greatly and very muchly appreciated!
    Terry.

    Ok My PSU is: WideTECH 550w, +3.3v=33a, +5v=36a, +12v=25a, -12v=1.0a, +5vsb=2.5a.
I am only running 3 HDD's at the moment, the 2 750's and the 1 200gig. I have left the other 500gig unplugged until I get this problem sorted. I don't have a cd rom plugged in or a floppy. I only connect them when I need to because this computer is setup to be a storage server and I use my other pc for anything dvd related etc. The only other thing which is chewing power is the video card which is an old 6800gt ultra. So basically the power issue was fine until I installed the two extra HDD's and as I have unplugged the 500gig for the time being its only really one extra HDD which shouldn't be an issue. Oh I have two 80mm case fans using the psu aswell.
As for my other specs: I have 1 gig of Geil dual channel RAM 2x512 sticks, CPU=AMD Athlon64 3500+, MB is MSI K8n Neo2 Platinum, Vid card= Leadtek geforce 6800gt ultra 256 agp, You know about my HDD's but here they are again= 1x 200g WD caviar IDE, 1x 500g WD caviar sata(1 I think), 2 x 750g samsung sata (2 I think), OS = XP Home SP2 with all lasest automatic updates, latest BIOS etc etc etc....
My windows is a legit copy as well.
You mentioned putting my HDD's into sata 1 mode... I was of the opinion that my motherboard does not support sata2 anyway and would not allow them to run in anything but sata1?? If I did want to change the sata mode where would I do this anyway?
Thanks for your reply but I don't think it has to do with psu or sata mode although I'm interested about this sata2 thing, please explain.
    Thanks in advance,
    Terry.

  • 6704 Raid Issue

Today I put in 2x120 Seagate Baracudda 7200.7 Drives.
The raid will build (mirror) and boot into Windows Fine, I can restart all day long and it work fine.  When I power off and power back on the raid goes critical and contionusly says that Channel 2 is not functioning, tried a new drive same issue.
This is a v1 board so I haven't found a new BIOS For it, any suggestions?

Disable the fast boot option so the computer does a memory test. This will give the drives a longer time to spin up to speed when you power up. It may be you have a drive that is slow spinning up, or it may be your power supply can't handle the load of two drives spinning up at the same time.

    AMD 5400+ Black Edition
    2x2Gb SUPER*TALENT DDRII 800Mhz CL4
    MSI 8800GT 512mb
    1 X WD Blue 500Gb Sata2
    2 x WD Blue 320GB Sata2 (NEW SET)
Basically, I've had only the 500Gb HD as the main disk, Now I've got a set of 320GB's for Raid, which i'd like to add to my current setup without Re-installing OS coz the main drive contains necessary Data etc. So I Enable the Raid settings in Bios as outlined in the Manual. Setup the raid in the Mediashield Raid Bios. Windows Vista 32 simply Bsods at the Windows loading screen, with latest MB RAID drivers from MSI & Nvidia tested, still the same.
I've discovered in other threads, people experiencing something similar. According to what I've learnt is the best is going to have to Set the single 500Gb Drive into a stripe and re-install. I've tried other alternatives, like leaving the the 320's as single drives and setting up the raid through windows Mediashield, same problem after rebooting. Compared to My older rig, RAID seems to not work so starightforward on the K9N2. MSI should be more Specific with instructions and limitations to implementing a Raid.
That's not my biggest problem here though, I've disconnected the 500Gb due to critical data, I've only got the 320's in Ports 1 & 2. Setup Stripe raid in Bios. I cannot succesfully install Windows Vista or XP to the raid, Vista install remains stuck @ the decompressing files window. XP loads until it's about to boot the OS for the first time then Bsods. Using latest Floppy Raid Drivers too. Has anyone with this board got a Raid with OS installed? Am i missing something here? what am I doing wrong?
I'm still Testing, gonna pull out my Aged and beloved Hitachi 80Gb Sata1 Drive from the dead, install OS and then get this baby to work in Raid as I want it to, Hopefully......
    Will report back..

The RAID implementation on this board is really obnoxious, if you have installed windows (XP/VISTA) prior to enabling RAID in the motherboard bios, windows will keep restarting itself at the windows load screen. Not an OS problem but the way the RAID controllers work on this motherboard.
    My raid setup:
1 X WD 500GB BLUE (System C:\)(Single Stripe)(HAS TO BE IN IT'S OWN ARRAY IN MEDIASHIELD ROM for windows to work if RAID IS ENABLED)
    2 X WD 320GB BLUE (Raid 0)(Stripe)
1 X LG Optical Drive (Also shows up in Mediashield post screen when Raid controller is ensbled)
Make sure to back up all data before setting up an array, setting up a array on a single HDD and selecting NOT to delete the MBR should keep your data intact. Booting up the system with the previous installation not deleted but now with the system HDD in it's own array you will continue to get BSOD and auto reboots.
    V3.3 Bios Settings:
    1) Set 'RAID MODE' to 'RAID" within the Integrated Peripherals Menu.
2)Enable 'RAID' in the Sub-Menu "ON-CHIP ATA DEVICES" --> RIAD MODE set to RAID then enable the ports you want Raid enabled on. SATA 1.2.3.4 are NV raid 5.6 are JMICRON. I have have ports 1,2,3 & 4 enabled as all 4 of my drives are connected to those ports. Optical drives will automatically show up in Mediashield ROM post screen even if port is disabled, and once windows is reinstalled other HDD'S can be connected without having to enable raid or arrays and all will be seen as normal.
Now to install windows, had an issue with the Floppy raid drivers from MSI site so I used the MCP78 floppy from gigabyte
http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/Motherboard/Driver_Model.aspx?ProductID=2819. Windows working and Raid 0 on 2X 320GB HDD. Once windows is installed to a single disk in this manner windows will work fine with sata raid disabled (deleting array in mediashield will delete MBR) and in IDE mode as but when raid is re-enabled it will detect the disk and work fine too. Another issue unresolved is that I couldn't successfully install to the Raid 0-2X WD 320gb blue stripe, anybody got windows installed successfully to a Raid 0-2X hdd stripe? Note, If installing to Jmicron you will need JM drivers.
Another issue I have since using Raid is that S3 mode is not working well at all. S3 is enabled in Bios power management and definitely worked previously when raid was disabled. Now I cannot get S3 suspend. When i choose sleep it goes into Hibernation, checked all vista settings in power management and it should go to sleep not hibernate. Any Help? When it comes out of sleep all the lights are red and I have to power it down, turn power supply off/on then post-> 'windows resuming' then only does it come out of hibernation, strange... Whether I choose sleep or hibernate this is what I'm getting. Using Vista 32, Nvidia driver version 15.24, display driver version 180.48. Jmicron drivers installed as well.

  • K9N2 SLI Platinum RAID Issue

    The system is brand new.
XP is installed on the SSD (nice and fast)
Drivers are all up-to-date according to LiveUpdate.
    I installed the 2 1Tb drives on SATA 3 and 4.
    I changed the BIOS:
      Extra RAID/IDE Controller Disabled
      On-Chip ATA Devices
        RAID Mode = RAID
        SATA 3 Enabled
        SATA 4 Enabled
    F10 to save
    F10 to enter RAID Setup
Chose the 2 Tb drives and get Healthy Array
After boot I get the dreaded faint Windows loading sequence, and a reboot (a vicious cycle)
OK, back into the BIOS, undo all the RAID stuff, and XP launches
Open up the box, change the SATA cables from 3 and 4 to 5 and 6
Back into BIOS, enabled the extra RAID controller, enable RAID and the SATA 5 and 6, then f10 to save.
Hit CTRL-J to get the raid setup - ignored - Windows fails to launch.
It's got to be a driver issue, but MSI Live Update reports drivers are up-to-date, and MSI website
refuses to let me find the driver I want (I don't know what I want, but don't get the choice).
I read the thread about using the gigabyte drivers, but the link given no longer works.
There must be something else I can try     OK, apart from that.
There must be someone out there who can help.    Oh did I mention I have no floppy drive,
but there again I have a working system without RAID, so should be able to load a driver
from the C drive if only I could get one that worked.  I'm a little frustrated.  I'm also a Brit,
    which changes that last statement!
    Help!

    >> Danr1:  So the RAID array is now connected to the 'Extra RAID Controller', leaving just your boot SSD drive on the onboard SATA ports?
The manual is ambivalent about where to connect the drives for use by the J-Micron RAID controller.
Perhaps only the external SATA ports on the backplance?  Perhaps only SATA5 and 6?
I have connected them on the external ports, on SATA 5 and 6, and on SATA 3 and 4.
I have had the external RAID/IDE Controller enabled and disabled
I had have RAID mode in On-Chip ATA Devices set to IDE and RAID
With RAID mode in RAID, I have had SATA 3 and 4 enabled and disabled,
and SATA5 and 6 enabled and disabled.
    That's a lot a reboots (48 choices, each requiring a reboot)
Each time I change a raid setting, I go back into BIOS to make sure the boot sequence hasn't been change (it often is)
CTRL-J does nothing during POST.  I have yet to see the JMicron Utility menu.
Oh yes, I have also had the array bootable and not bootable, but I don't think I've been through the full 96 choices.
    >>  Danr1: Extra RAID/IDE Controller Disabled
                   On-Chip ATA Devices
                   RAID Mode = RAID
                   SATA 3 Enabled
                   SATA 4 Enabled
This is my configuration of choice, I keep going back to it hoping it will work.
    >> (Danr1) If you're not using the rear esata ports or the secondary IDE port that setup is correct...
    I am not using IDE1 or IDE2.
I'm not using the rear esata ports (tried and failed, as you can see above).
    >> (Danr1) I take it you have the SSD and CD drives connected to the primary IDE?
Nope.  The SSD drive containing XP is SATA 1, the DVD drive (not CD) is SATA 2.
    >> (Danr1) I'm looking but not seeing where you stated what type of SSD drive it is you have?
    It's an OCZ ($209.00) SSD 60Gb SSD2-1VTX60G connected to SATA 1.

               On-Chip ATA Devices
               RAID Mode = [IDE]
               SATA 3 Enabled
               SATA 4 Enabled
Been there (see above), done that and it fails.
I seem to have four choices:
    a) Reinstall Windows using a slipstreamed CD.  Don't want to do this, what a waste of time, and no guarantee that it'll work.
    b) Request technical assistance from MSI
    c) RMA the board to MSI.  I can't RMA to Newegg as I have had it for 3 months.
    d) Use the 2 1Tb drives in a RAID 1- (negative 1).  That's separate drives, with nightly backups.
    Bummer!

  • P67A-GD65 New Bios and RAID issues

    Hello all,
Last week I decided to reinstall my whole OS from scratch. Before doing so I updated the BIOS to the latest 4.3 version - I was experiencing some issues which may have been HW related and I thought I wanted to try the latest BIOS.
I now have a weird problem. When I shutdown the PC I can heard my RAID HDDs being turned off one by one, but before the last one is being shut down the PC reboots. Then the RAID BIOS screen takes ages to appear and I can hear my HDDs being turned on one by one - slowly.
If I then shutdown the system again, all is good.
The other day the RAID BIOS was showing one of the RAID HDDs being NOT part of the RAID - hence it marked the array as Degraded. The array rebuilt correctly and it's not ok.
I know that my HDDs are possibly not perfect - but if analysed they do not show any obvious issue - but I was not having this problem before.
Any suggestions? It would be also nice to know WHICH HDD failed, and maybe I could try replacing it! Is there a log somewhere that tells me what's happening?
    Thanks

    Hi there,
What RAID mode are you useing (0, 1, 10,...)?
When you go into RAID BIOS/setup, dosent it show the SATA ports for all your HDD's to see wich failed(if its "fixed" then its maybe toolate for this one)
Here is link for BETA BIOSses
After last full relise you see fix Quote

  • Raid Issues with 925XE Platnium-54G Mobo

Hello everyone, I am having ISSUES with the above mentioned mobo and the RAID configurations.  I cannot figure out for the life of me what channel is connected to which controller and how to configure the bios to use the ones I want.  The mobo has IDE1, IDE2, IDE3 and SATA1, SATA2, SATA3, SATA4.  IDE1 is Blue and isolated at the top of the mobo.  IDE2 and IDE3 are yellow and together at the bottom of the mobo.  All SATAs are together in the middle of the mobo.
When I read the book, I get the idea that IDE1 is its own controller,  IDE2 & IDE3 belong to the VIA controller and the SATAs belong to the Intel Controller.  Here is my problem whenever I connect a SATA device, the system hangs on POST!  I have tried every combination I can think of in the BIOS, but I cannot get the system to recognize these drives when connected to the SATA ports.
Here is what I am trying to do.
2 120 GB WD 8MB 7200 IDE Drives converted to SATA with the High Point Rocket Head 100 converter.  I want these to in a RAID 0 on the INTEL SATA controller.  I would like to use the VIA controller as an IDE controller not a raid controller, and connected a 200GB Data drive to one of those controllers.  Then use the IDE1 as my optical drive controller.
I know what you are going to say, that is is probably an incompatability with the rockethead converters, but before you jump to that conclusion, I upgraded from the MSI 875P Mobo and used the rocketheads successufully on that mobo.
Can someone PLEASE tell me how to set up the bios so that I can get this thing set up the way I want it within the next 30 days so I can just reinstall Win XP before I activate it for the first time.
    Thank You
    Lightning
I presently have the 80's in a RAID on what I believe to be the VIA controller with the 200 on the secondary, but this does give me a boot delay, because it warns me that a raid cannot be created with a single drive on every boot.  the 200 is useable in Win XP Pro however.
    PLEASE HELP!

yup.  I have given up on this issue, according to High Point, the convert will not work on intel ich5, that's funny, I had it working on my 875 mobo which was ich5.  I am assuming, if it is not suppose to work on ich5, then it will NOT work on ich6.

  • P7N SLI Platinum - SATA Boot RAID issue

Hello Folks... I posted this issue on another thread (but, with different subject) as a follow up issue. I figured it might be better if this issue has it's own thread.. so, here it goes
Now, this is an upgrade for me.... from my previous MOBO. My boot drive in the old MOBO was RAIDed (RAID 0). Both old and new MOBO have nVidia RAID.. do, I don't think there is any compatibility issue here and the new MOBO detects the old RAID with  no issues too.
So, now, I will have to RAID my drives again and run Win XP repair. I was able to RAID my drives and all good... now, I went into Windows installation and did F6 to install NVIDIA Raid.... but, here is my problem, when the prompt asks me to input the floppy drive, and when I did it.... it re-prompts me to put the floppy drive again... I see that the floppy drive is read... but, for some reason it doesn't detect the files in there properly....  I downloaded nVidia C72+MCP55 SATA RAID / AHCI Driver (For floppy driver) for windows xp 32-bit and copied the sataraid folder contents into the floppy. For some reason the files are not detected at all...
Anybody experienced this problem? what could be the problem here?
