hi.
i have created one tabscreen in header of me21n and i just want to raise an error message if the use has filled data in all t fields of tabscreens of header in me21n except the customised tabsubscreen that i have created .
i came to know that this could be possible through process header,check methods of me_process_po_cust but i dont know of which one to prefer.
please provide me the code with method as well.
u r anser would be appreciated.

ERROR MESSAGE IN PPOME TCODE AFTER UPGRADE TO ECC 6.0

Hi Experts,
I have a question.
Recently our system went for upgrade and during testing phase we have found one issue.
Error message is appearing in PPOME transactio code after upgrade to ECC 6.0
The screen is getting defaulted to Budget section and unable to find the subtype as there are no subtypes available there and showing error message as "Fill in all required fields".
Please let me know your solution on this.

- you can deactivate the budget tab in the IMG-activity 'Hide/Show Tab Page'
(SIMG_CFMENUOHP1HFW20 alternatively use SM30 on view 'T77OCTABUS')
1. Create new entries for the following KEY:
a) Scenario OME0
b) Object type 'P', 'O', 'S'
c) Tab Page 'PBC_ORIG'
2. for each of this entries, set the 'Exclude Tab Page'-Flag.
- in case you do not want to deactivate the Budget tab:
The error occurs due to missing entries for subtypes in table T778U
for infotype 1516.
Please maintain the according subtyes you want to use if you create a
budget.

Problem in deleting the error messages in UI.

Hi Experts,
I am currently working on SAP CRM 2007 WEB UI.
my requirement is that when ever user enters a product in the items tab, the quantity field should be pre-filled with some quantity say 5.
i have written the code in DO_PREPARE_OUTPUT method of the class of the items view.
i am able to get the quantity value in that field.
but with the default value i am also getting an error message saying fill the item category quantity field(but it is already filled).
if we press enter after that the message is getting deleted.
could you all tell me how to remove that message whenevr we pre-fill the quantity that is when we give product and press enter that message should not come and the quanitity field should be filled.

In your case what is happening is , the application is first creating the error msg and after that the control is going to the DO_PREPARE_OUTPUT method , thats why it is giving the error msg although you are providing the value . what i suggest is , do the coding for pre-populating the quantity field in the method GET_QUANTITY and check the same .

Error message linking to field

Hi guys,
I'm trying to generate an error message that links to the field when clicked on.
My problem is this. This error message is for a dropdown list. When user choose a blank selection, it will generate the error message to "fill in the mandatory field", with the link to the dropdown box.
I tried lo_message_manager->report_attribute_error_message but it gives an error dump for null values (due to blank selection).
I have also tried cl_wd_dynamic_tool=>check_mandatory_attr_on_view. This works fine for the other inputfields, but it doesn't work for the dropdown list.

how is your dropdown done? by key/index?
because with an indexed one, none is selected, thus returning a dump when you try to have
an attribute error message (initial selected element).

FlashPlayerPlugin - Application error message - "The instruction at 0x71a30000 referenced memory at 0x71a30000. The memory could not be written"

Since upgrading to Windows 8 Pro (with a downloaded upgrade, not a "clean" instal, so all my apps and settings were retained) I get the following error message when starting my customised version of Firefox with several pinned tabs, or when flash content loads in an uncustomised version in another user account, or when that version is closed if no flash content is loaded :-
(Title) - FlashPlayerPlugin_11_5_502_110.exe - Application Error
(Content) - "The instruction at 0x71a30000 referenced memory at 0x71a30000. The memory could not be written. Click on OK to terminate the program"
This also happened with the 11.4.402 version prior to today's update.
I have tried running the browser with add-ons disabled, and uninstalled/re-installed Firefox, but the problem remained. Can anyone tell me what the problem is and how to fix it?

For me, the problem was with Trusteer. An update of Trusteer is available which solves this issue. All okay now.

Open pdf says "please fill out the following form" when I attempt to apply redactions, I get an error message. How do I "turn off" the form portion of the document? I assume that is the problem since I have not had this issue with any of the other files

I am attempting to redact a large pdf file. When I open the file, it has a bar across the top with the message "please fill out the following form". I can mark redactions, but when I attempt to apply them I get a message saying, "In order to proceed Digital Signatures must be removed and the document must be fully authorized. Do you want to make these changes and continue?" I click "ok". Then I get a message saying, "an internal error occurred." How do I get around this problem?

You cannot redact a signed document. This is because one of the things signatures guarantee is access to the OLDER document (i.e. there will be an unredacted copy in there).
In general you cannot remove signatures, but sometimes you can. Look under the Signatures tab (right click on left vertical bar if there isn't one) to see if it is removable.

Customising Error Messages in JHeadstart

Hi All,
I would like to customise some ADF JSF error message. I've got the error - JBO-25013: Too many objects match the primary key oracle.jbo.Key[ASGARD CBD ]. but would like to replace it with "Row already exists with same Cmp Id,Cmp Tran Type".
I've followed the steps outlined in http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/html/B25947_01/bcadvgen008.htm#sm0462 and after recompilation and reganeration, the old error message still appears. Can you guys please help me with it? Thank you and have a nice day.

First, when you say 'open your JHS-Application definition generator' do you actually mean JHS Application Definition Editor (JADE)?
Under the service node? I cannot see any 'service node' anywhere inside JADE. But I can see 'NLS Resource Bundle *' with the value of 'PAM0840_From_Designer.view.ApplicationResources'.
Go to the above path? What above path do you mean?
Uncheck OVERRIDE NLS entries? Do you mean uncheck the 'Override NLS Resource Bundle Entries?*' inside JADE under the 'Internationalization' section?

New error messages related to OHW - filling up error logs.

We've recently received a new delivery of help files (new helpset), but there have also been many other changes to our base software system in the interim. This makes it hard to nail down the culprit.
That said, we are now seeing two messages in the error log any time we access help. I'm wondering if anyone else has seen these, and have suggestions as to the root cause. They are as follows:

We are seeing many of these messages in a row, but they are all like the two types you see above.
Just for completeness, there is one other error message filling our log which we also have not been able to resolve. This one has been around for a while longer:

Hey, tried uploading my first DPS app since August 28 and got rejected. I edited my folio and re- created the app, did the hole process again and today I uploaded the new app thru App loader. Everything was ok, but as soon as I clicked the review app in itunes connect, and the status changed to: "Waiting for review" Got an itunes Email saying this: ..."REDUNDANT BINARY UPLOAD - there already exists a binary upload with build version '32.0.0.8.99116' for train '1.0.7'... Once these issues have been corrected, you can then redeliver the corrected binary."...
I am completely lost, I don't know how to solve this issue, don't know what steps to follow and im in desperate need of help. The app is a magazine and they've been waiting its launch since September 1st.
The hole precess relies on me and I ran out of options... Can someone Help me?

When Iam using Employee Self Service (ESS) scenario for 'Personnel ID' master data to store information about PAN number details
When I try to create a new recocrd, or edit an existing record, following error message is displayed:
"Fill in all required entry fields".

Because I am facing the Same problem but it is for IT-9(Bank Details) Subtype 5(Main Offcyle Bank) and Subtype 6(Other Offcycle Bank).
I have added the required fields in table V_T588MFPROPC, but not able to view those fields in ESS Screen, though I am sure it is considering those fields because for 2 Fields which I made mandatory , I am getting error in ESS Screen 'Fill in Required details', but only thing is not able to view the Fields on ESS Screen but getting error.

After SL update my system.log if filling with error messages.
Does any process delete the system.log periodically?
What's causing this error? Getting thousands of them.

Yes. There are three automatic jobs that run daily, weekly, and monthly doing this sort of thing. They run in the early hours of the morning if your Mac is awake, or shortly after it wakes up if it was sleeping. In Leopard, if it was powered-off, they won't run; I don't know if it's the same in Snow.

Form Captcha Issues - Error message when not filled vs. traditional "Please fill in the following:"

Just discovered an issue regarding a form using a CAPTCHA.
When I formerly submitted other forms on sites with CAPTCHA's in the forms I created, when one did not fill out the form, a pop-up window would appear allerting the customer to "Fill in the form field" that were required, including an allert to "Enter Word Verification in box below."
I have created a new form for a new site and seem to be encountering a different issue. When the form is not filled out and the user clicks "Submit" a new page loads with a red error message saying: "ERROR: An error occurred. Image verification failed. If you believe this is incorrect, please contact your system administrator or go back and re-submit the form."
How can I correct this to simply have the same required field pop-up window appear like was happening with former developed forms?? Not sure why this form is doing this when all prior forms with CAPTHCA included were just fine. Haven't done anything different to the form that I hadn't to others in the past....Please Help!! Thanks.

Customised Error Message for ESS-MSS Applications

Hello All,
Currently, if there are any errors in the ESS/MSS transactions, we get the 503 error with lot of irrelevant data to the users. We have a basic html page which says, "There is a issue-Please contact XXXX".
Is there a way to replace the standard error message with this html page ?
PS: I am not talkign about the "Dispatcher Running" or "Application Stopped" messages, Please do not point me again to SAP Help website which doesn't answer my query. THIS IS ABOUT REPLACING THE STANDARD ERROR MESSAGES FOR ESS/MSS APPLICATIONS.
Any help is much appreciated.

Let me clarify the difference between ESS and MSS errors and JAVA stack errors
A "503 Service not available" is not an ESS or MSS error - this is the thrown by the stack (possibly while navigating
in ESS or MSS)
The only information I have available in the case of java stack errors is to follow

Whcih indicates how to customize stack errors like 404 or 500
Lastly you can also decide to hide the stack trace as per KBA 1596212
To modify an ESS or MSS message this may require modification to front and back-end HCM application - usually
ESS gets error information based on back-end errors example "fill in all required fields"
