  • Hp pavillion g7 windows 8.1 missing ralink bluetooth pcie adapter

I have a windows 8.1 64 bit HP Pavilion G7 2270us. I have had nothing but trouble with the bluetooth since the 8.1 update. I used to be able to reinstall the driver and get it working again, however lately nothing works. I have installed sp59632, 58515, 64041, 58944, and 64825 and none are working. My computer does not even show the option to turn the bluetooth on from the pc settings menu. I am adding some pictures to show you what my computer shows in device management and troubleshooter to see if that helps. Thank you for your help.

The RALINK bluetooth pcie adapter will not install. I have tried the driver update listed as problem solved but still cannot install the driver. I have an HP h-8 envy 1450 desktop running windows 8.1. When I try to install the device windows finds the driver but ends with a cannot install

    Hi:
I have read numerous posts from forum members with that card used in notebooks repoting issues with the bluetooth not working.
Not about the drivers not installing such as in your situation, but the bluetooth device simply not working even if the drivers are installed after updating to W8.1.

I grasp that your wireless is working fine but you are missing your Bluetooth.
If you look in Device Manager is the Bluetooth card  recognized, if not would you  right click on the network adapter and scan for hardware changes.
Have you tried reseating the network card?
Understanding and troubleshooting Bluetooth wireless technology (Windows 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP)
You can also try these steps.
Step 1. Go to device manager
Step 2. Right click on "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" that you want
Step 3. Select "Update Driver Software..."
Step 4. Choose "Browse my computer for driver software"
Step 5. Choose "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
Step 6. Select "Ports (COM & LPT)"
Step 7. Select "Microsoft" at "Manufacturer" list
Step 8. Finally select "Standard Serial over Bluetooth link"
If you are still unable to pair with a Bluetooth device try the following:
Step 1. Search for "Change device" in the Windows 8 Start menu.
Step 2. Click on where it says Change device installation settings.
Step 3. Select the No, let me choose what to do option.
Step 4. Check the automatically get the device app option
Step 5. Click Save changes to save the settings you just chose
As well you can try this
Step 1: Go to RUN (Windows Logo + R) and type “services.msc” and Enter
Step 2: Now find “Bluetooth Support Service” and double click on it
Step 3: Now click on Log On Tab and Type in "Local Service" without quotes
Step 4. Click on “This Account”
Step 5: Now remove any passwords leave the password field blank
Step 6: Underneath the upper left title should be a hyperlink "Start" Click it
You can also check  the Power Management tab and unchecked the box that says "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."

  • Windows cannot load the Railink bluetooth PCIe adapter driver

I am using windows 8.1 on Pavilion g6 2313-ax. I installed the bluetooth driver (sp59632) specified for windows 8(x64) in the HP website as nothing was specified for it in windows 8.1 section. But windows is unable to load the driver and the system doesn't even recognise the bluetooth in my laptop. The device manager shows the latest drivers are installed but still shows a yellow mark on the device.
Here is the screenshot of device manager.

  • Ralink Bluetooth Controller Drivers Causes Blue Screen Of Death

Good morning, I have a HP Envy 17-J010el notebook, born with Windows 8 and now I have updated it to Windows 8.1 Professional.
After the update, I noticed that the bluetooth controller drivers couldn't be installed:
    Bluetooth Controller: PCI\VEN_1814&DEV_3298&SUBSYS_18EC103C&REV_00\4&2051f34d&0&01E0
HP Support Assistant and Windows Update are unable to find them. I downloaded them from HP Envy-17J010el drivers page (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-125314-1&cc=it&dlc=it&lc=it... and tried to install them but I got the blue screen of death and I had to format my pc. These drivers are only for Windows 8 and evidently don't work on 8.1.
I searched the web for a solution but I discovered the everybody are in my same position, and anybody can't find a way to solve the problem.
At the moment I don't know what to do, I need the bluetooth but  I can't use it or simply activate it.
Are updated drivers going to be released for Windows 8.1 soon?
    I apologize for my english.

    Do you read English?!
No one tell you to format your pc!!
Just go to program and features - Uninstall Update.
Find KB2887595  Uninstall it, restart your pc.
after this install agein the Ralink Bluetooth drvier via hp recovery manager.

  • Does Pavilion G6-2342DX have Bluetooth, PCIe and Thunderbolt?

    Hello,
Does Pavilion G6-2342DX have Bluetooth, PCIe and Thunderbolt?
And can somebody replace the optical drive of this laptop with another accessory?
    HP Pavilion G6-2343DX

    Hi:
Below is the link to the product specs for the HP Pavilion g6-2342dx Notebook PC.
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c03736754&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&cc=us&dlc=en...
It does not come with built in bluetooth or bluetooth would be listed along with the 1x1 802.11b/g/n WLAN specification.
    You can:
    1. Replace the wireless card with a supported combination wireless/bluetooth card listed in chapter 3 of the service manual for your model.
    2. Purchase an external USB Bluetooth adapter.

You can only add songs to your iOS device from iTunes via Wi-Fi sync or via your cable, not Bluetooth.

That's an entirely different issue, unrelated to your iOS devices.

  • Where can I find a Driver for my PCI Adapter WMP54G Version 4.1?

My operating system is Windows XP 32 bit.  I had to reinstall XP and fouind that I have no idea where in my home I stored the install disc that came with the PCI adapter.  Checked online at the linksys site and they no longer support my PCI adapter and they wanted to sell me their latgest adapter - which I don't want.  Where can I find a reliable drive download site that won't come with a lot of junk or viruses?   Thanks for your help..!

I downloaded a driver from  "driverguide.com"  as suggested by one responder.  It came along with a Trojan virus that fortunately my antivirus program (Panda) found.
Next I tried the suggestion about downloading Version 2..0 driver.  I did, but my Windows XP could not open the file.  (Not sure why Version 2.0 was suggested, since my PCI card is Version 4.1).  So this suggestion went nowhere.
I did find that there are MANY Linksys items for sale on Ebay and may pursue one of those.
In closing - I want to thank all those who responded and tried to help.  I also want to mention that I am not happy that Linksys basically "threw us under the bus" by no longer providing a simple driver download for WMP54G owners.  There are thousands of us out there and it is certainly easy to forget where you filed away your installation disc.....especially if you're older and have trouble remembering things anyway.  (I'm 78).

  • Anybody had experience with Audigy2 PCMCIA + PCMCIA to PCI adapter?

I have been using my Audigy 2 ZS (PCMCIA) on a laptop as a media center for a looong time, but the laptop died and I'm using a cheap desktop for it.
The built-in soundcard lacks luster and I want to use my Audigy in it, but I'll be needing a PCI to PCMCIA adapter. Because the Audigy 2 ZS was so picky about the Cardbus adapter it was connected to, I want to know of other peoples' experiences on doing the same thing.
Has anyone else connected their Audigy 2 ZS - laptop into a desktop using a PCMCIA-to-PCI adapter? Which brand/model and how did it work out?
    Thank you.
