I hope the replacement card fixes the problem.  Over the years I have had just one bad network card -- and it drove me nuts tracking down that it was, indeed, a failed card.

  • Replacement speakers for Pavilion g7-1338dx

    Hello.
Looked everywhere for this part, HP, GOOGLE, everywhere and I dont see anyone that carries these? Any ideas? I appreciate it.

    Hey aklapr,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
For purchasing replacement speakers for your Pavilion G7-1338dx, I have included the 'Maintenance and Service Guide'. Please scroll to page 57, it will list the replacement part number, as well the instructions on how to replace the speakers.
Now one option for purchasing the replacement speakers is the HP PartSurfer. If you are unable to find the part available there. I would suggest contacting technical support at 800-474-6836. If you live outside the US/Canada Region, please click the link below to get the support number for your region http://www.hp.com/cgi-bin/hpsupport/index.pl. For purchasing options.

  • AC adapter replacement program for M4402

Hi everone, me again. Miss me?
Given that my Pismo works absolutely fine now, the reason I am posting relating to the power pack is an obscure one. I recently stumbled across a page in the PowerBook G3 support area about replacing the M4402 power adaptors for G3 'Books. And I have just that adaptor.
    The article:
    http://depot.info.apple.com/exchange/
details that the M4402 packs, with two-prong power connectors, carry a danger of overheating. This would make my adaptor a candidate for replacement; it's a 1998 adaptor, and the article applies to PowerBooks manufactured between 1998 and March 2000.
However, I've discovered that my PowerBook was purchased on the 8th of March 2000, which puts it's manufacture dte at roughly 4th March (these things sold quickly!). The AC adaptor is most likely older than the laptop, but it's not being accepted as a replaceable item. Surely if there's a risk of the adaptor leaving a burn mark in my carpet or on my desk, then that risk should be removed? There've been six reported cases of just this happening.
Any input into this would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Rob Johnson

    Hi cornelius,
Glad we got the age brackets sorted (ha ha). Well, the good news is that the yo-yo arrived today. The bad news? The IDIOTS (I use the term accurately) at Apple have sent me one with a TWO-PRONG POWER CABLE and I'm in the flippin' UK! I spend some considerable time arguing with technicians, and they send the wrong cable!
Fortunately for them, they sent the right yo-yo, and it works - I am, at least, graced by the presence of a ThinkPad T23 that uses the same clove-leaf power cable. But, now what do I do? It's been suggested that I cut the two-prong off and fit a UK plug, but that spoils the effect. The jiffy bag bears the 'Netherlands' address, which is a little strange to say the least.
So, what do I do now? Any advice would be helpful.
    Thanks to everyone who posted,
    Rob Johnson

  • Replacement options for keys on mid-2009 MBP

i have a mid-2009 MBP that i am extremely unhappy with and which i /was/ going to just give to my mom but it acts so oddly that i am afraid she will get too confused and won't be able to use it.
/anyway/ i had this thing in to the genius bar and asked them to replace all the keys as there are a lot of these that are very wobbly and make typing sort of a challenge. the technician asked me to tell him which /specific/ keys were a problem - i didn't sit down to test this - and then proceeded to give me some kind of song and dance explaining the technical reasons why the keys would fail and he assured me that as long as there was not some failure with the mechanism under the keys that they would replace the keys for the life of the machine at no charge.
    two questions:
    1. i have written down the 23 keys that feel like they are hard to work with and i am wondering if it is unreasonable to expect them to just replace all of them now so i (or the person i give the machien to) won't have to deal with this periodically.
    2. is it in fact the case that i should expect to get other keys fixed for free when they go bad?
    3. is there some reason why the technician at the genius bar may not have wanted me to do another repair on this machine within the warranty period since i have had it in complaining about various issues very often and they finally found a battery and a logic board problem about three months before my warranty expiration? i mean, i have not trusted the advice i get which is a complete 180 degrees from when i was first on mac before i had to move to PC and i am wondering if there may be a reason why they did not want to simply go ahead and do the key replacement for me under warranty. it seems really sort of mean and cheap to turn me away on this at the 11th hour with some kind of verbal assurance when i've never been happy with the machine or the explanations on the problems with the machine anyway.
is there some kind of magic words to get them to just replace all the keys so i won't have this as an ADDED problem to my battery life, beachball hangs, sleep battery drain, etc, etc, etc?
    THANKS

What Bob is saying is that according to the table there are different versions of Bootcamp which can be run on each Mac which load the various drivers for the specific versions on Windows.
Windows 8 is designed to run 64bit but it will run 32bit as well it just means you dont get all the benefits and can loose Disc & Ram, but the host mac needs a 64bit compatible processor and it needs to meet the spec for the version of Windows being run and you need the various drivers.
Often this level of support and development wont be provided on older machines as they knnow it will run into problems at some point.
That doesnt mean you cant or shouldnt go for it, as long as you accept it may not be a stright forward install

  • DataBase Adapter Rollback option for Logical/Physical Delete in SOA  11g

    Hi All,
We have a requirement where we need to rollback the logical delete performed by the DB Adapter (after polling a table) if there is any failure in the process down the line. We are trying to implement this using Mediator or OSB. For example if we are polling a table for changed records and performing logical delete, down the line if the business service (OSB) or the external reference (Mediator) are down/faulted, the records which were logically deleted are not getting rolled back in the table. Would any one please let me know if you have come across the same kind of scenario?
Is there any property we need to set while configuring the polling DB Adapter?
    Thank You.

Thank you very much for the reply Anuj,
I have created a db adapter which polls on a table with logicaldeletestrategy in JDeveloper 11g,
then I imported the XSD, mapping.xml, wsdl and JCA file into OSB using OSB consol. In the console
I generated proxy and wsdl for that proxy using JCA file. Then created one more db adapter in JDev
which inserts the records polled by the first db adapter into another table, followed the same
process of importing the above mentioned 4 files and generated a business service. In proxy service
route node I am using a transformation (which also I imported from Jdev) to route the data polled
by proxy service to the business service. Here I am using an XA datasource both the JCA's also
I made the 3 changes reccommended by Arun but still I am not getting the results.
I tried physical delete same issue with that too. When I am doing physical delete the proxy service
atleast picking up the records and deleting them. But when I tried logical delete the proxy is not even
picking up the records. Am I missing anything here?
    Thank You,

  • What are the support or replacement options for my out of warranty phone?

My beloved 3G, that I use now as a jump drive and an iPod, just died. Dead dead. No response from any buttons, no reset ability, no restoring... Nothing, other than if i charge it it gets really hot. Really really hot.
I have purchased two MacBooks, four iPhones and one iPad over the past three years for myself and my family, and I am wondering what support apple will offer me for my new doorstop. I know it won't be free and I understand that..... But????? Anything? Anyone know? Can I upgrade? Replace? Repair?
    Thanks in advance.

There is nothing special provided in this regard regardless how many Apple products you have purchased over the last 3 years.
Apple offers an out of warranty or not covered under the warrant "repair" price, which pays for an exchange for the same model at a significantly reduced price off what was the full retail sales price. The cost is $199 plus applicable sales tax and the exchange will include a 90 day warranty. This does not require signing a new two year contract with AT&T. This will be for another 3G - the same color and storage capacity. Not sure if Apple offers this for an iPhone that is no longer activated with AT&T, but as already provided, there will be no charge at an Apple store to have a diagnostic check run on your iPhone to determine where the problem lies. If only the battery, Apple has a price to replace the battery only, or you can use a 3rd party for this, or try to do it yourself if you are so inclined.

  • Replacement options for VW01/VW10 in ECC 6.0 due to ITS retirement

Due to a planned Internet Transaction Server (ITS) retirement, I am investigating replacement/alternatives to VW01 and VW10 for sales order creation and status.
Are there other options in ERP ECC 6.0?
    Many thanks
    Jennifer Ellis

    Hi Shabeer,
the first thing is that you are running on a very very low RAM.
For ECC 6.0 with dual stack SAP System to run you should have atleast 4 GB of RAM.
For your Dispatcher issue kindly check the status of your Oracle database and the connection from SAP To Database.
You can check the oracle status using brtools utility.

  • Keyboard replacement instructions for Pavilion DV-6 1030us

    Dear Tecchies,
Thanks in advance for your help!  I need some good, complete instructions for replacing the keyboard on my HP Pavilion DV-6 1030us; including all screws needing removed, etc.  I already have the replacement keyboard.  All the instructions I've found online appear to be regarding different models, or just pertaining to the DV-6 family in general.  I simply need the specifics for my model, 1030us.  I know they're not too difficult;  I'm an A+ tech, so that does help a bit.
Appreciate your help and any time you spend trying to help me.

This is the Manual which applies to your model. It applies to the whole dv6-1000 series but it does show how to remove and replace your keyboard.
    Manual
76-78 are the key pages. Screws and positions are clearly identified. You do not need to remove the screen. Be careful with the ribbon cables on the switch cover and the keyboard.
    Good luck.

Yes, any of them should work. Actually there are only four panels (AUO, CMO, Samsung, LG Philips) but they have different FRU numbers (I dont know why). You may also use the WXGA+ Models as well.
You can check the list available panels here as well: click me (use the search function of your browser to look after "T61")

  • Replacement option for pdfmaker in outlook 2013

It has been established that the pdfmaker doesn't work in Outlook 2013, unless I missed something.  I would like to know what are my other options ... I used the pdfmaker a lot and I want to download/buy something that does exactly the same within Outlook 2013.

    Hi Patske,
You can pay the upgrade price and purchase Acrobat 11.0 Pro.
You can navigate to 'Help' menu and select 'Check for Updates' and the software would automatically check for available updates which you can then download and install.
You can also manually download Acrobat updates from: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows
I would suggest downloading the trial version first and use it for 30 days to see if it suits you requirement and then purchase if required. There's no  difference between the trial version and the full version software. You can download it from: Download Adobe Acrobat free trial | Acrobat XI Professional

  • Looking to replace keyboard for Pavilion 500

I recently purchased a Pavilion 500-164 PC and I hate, hate, hate the keyboard.  Where can I find a list of compatible keyboards for this desktop so I can upgrade?

    Hi,
Logitech has many good keyboards, mice and combo wireless mouse/keyboard. They are compatible with all desktops and laptops. I bought 3 sets of wirless combo mouse-keyboard and the battery can "live" for 3 years (mine are 2 years so far). They have many but I bought the following set

  • Windows 10 wifi adapter problems

Ater installing and upgrading from windows 7 to 10 I couldnt been able to connect to any wifi networks at all on my laptop. When I try updating Ralink RT3290 802.11 bgn wifi adapter it says im running the latest drivers. The adapter is entierly disabled when I try to enable it in the network connections nothing happens.

I think I found something that may help.  Did you have Cisco VPN software installed before you upgraded?  I did, and I think that caused the issue.  Since I rolled back, I won't know for sure.  I'm going to do a fresh install of Windows 10 this afternoon and see if wireless works.   See these posts: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Wireless-Internet-Home-Networking/No-WiFi-adapter-found-after-windows-10-upgrade/td-p/5170831 http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/forum/surfpro-surfusingwin10/no-wireless-device-after-upgrading-surface-pro-to/79b27611-d00a-4482-aa03-117abd0f51fb
