RAM Problems after update and Restart. 3 beeps with led. Memories and Slots work alone, but together the problem continues.

I make some updates and restart my Macbook Pro, and the screen became Grey with 3 beeps with Led.
I read it could be the RAM memory. So I opened it and tried to reconected them.. but the problem continues.. So I asume it was one of the memories or one of the Slots... But when I tried them separetly all the Slots and memories worked... But togheter the problems continues.
Any suggestion?
The Mac worked perfect! There where just some updates...and before the restart, a pop up appeared saying that the updates could not be done because of an error... after that... the restart, the grey screen, and the 3 beeps with 3 leds.

Have you tried putting back the original memory and seeing if that works?
Also if you could tell us the mode of the MBP, how much memory was in it and what you are upgrading to it would help.

Hello! I have a Macbook Pro early 2011. After updating to ML i have a problem with QuickTime player 10.2. I cant open any video with this player. For example i also have flip4mac + perian and i cant play an avi file. Specifically, i can open but it doesent play. I click to play button, but nothing works... Is the time capsule the only router in the network?
Try setting the lease time in the TC to very short value.. 20min or even less, 10min. It will not add signficant network traffic but might keep the Air updated to the TC.
I would also use SMB compatible name for the TC as well as wireless.. ie short, no spaces.. pure alphanumeric.
Set a different name for 5ghz so it cannot swap around.
And lock the wireless channels. Try each channel in turn, to see if any are better.

White screen problem after updating to 1.1 firmware

My 2G iPod Nano worked fine with 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 firmware but after updating to 1.1 I get white screen everytime I turn it on after longer period of time. Turning the iPod off and then right back on makes it work again. I have done restore 3 times without effect. I even removed the firmware files so that iTunes downloads them again when doing the restore but that didn't work either.
Should I return it or wait for new firmware? Has anyone else had this problem after updating to 1.1?

Disconnect iPod and close iTunes.
Firmware files are in "Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates" folder.
You should still have the 1.0.2 files named "iPod_19.1.0.2.ipsw" and "iPod_19.1.0.2.ipsw.signature" in there if have you upgraded from 1.0.1 version.
Remove 1.1 files from the folder so that only those to files are in there.
Disconnect from network (I switched off my wlan) so that iTunes can't download the new version. Connect your iPod and do Restore, iTunes will now use the old firmware files because it can't connect to the internet.

There are numerous reports of this issue happening on iPhones. It may be a glitch that will need a new update. Some find that a full shut-down and restart fixes that problem, but not always.

i do the update with coolbook active.... and when restart... the system dont pass over 800mhz at 50ºC and all the system go very slow.

I'm not familiar with Coolbook, so can't really offer any help there but, have you tried disabling on removing Coolbook to see how your Air runs?
If the Air runs ok without Coolbook installed, there's your problem, if it still runs at a max of 800Mhz, contact Apple.

Have you tried starting in Safe Mode and see if the slowness still occurs?
Restart holding the "shift" key.
(Expect it to take longer to start this way because it runs a directory check first.)
If this works look in System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login items and delete any third party login items (-), you can always add them back with the (+). Also look in /Library/Startup Items. Nothing is put in that folder by default, so anything in there is yours.
Reboot normally and test.

My spouse (who has now passed away) had an itouch with an itunes library on an IMac. here is the problem, I bought an new iphone 6 and wanted to sync with my windows xp library and of course my itunes version is out of date and I need to update it...well I try and update the version and it will not update the Itunes library and when I researched it I would have to upgrade from XP to Windows 7...r they kidding me...first of all my computer is old and a pain in the *** but I have my itunes library on it. Update on my previous comment. I have solved my issue. Issue was with Windows 7 firewall not operating correctly. I was unable to add itunes to the 'Allow programs to communicate through windows firewall'. Do you get an error number? What is the exact message?
Two things to try.
- Sign out of the App Store (in the Store menu)
- Quit the App Store
- In Finder - Go>Go to folder... (or Apple-shift-G)
- Paste in the following "~/Library/Caches/ "
- It will take you to a folder. Delete com.apple.appstore
- Launch the App Store.
If that doesn't work, try an App Store reset and then try again.
