Random blue/red flash on screen when exiting apps

Hi,
I have an iphone 6 64gb with ios 8.1. I encounter a weird blue and sometimes red flash on screen when exiting app (specific to galaxy empire only). It looks like the blue/red screen of death but just a very quick flashing. so far no other problems occured but it sokehow makes me uncomfortable especially the phone is only less than 3 weeks old. Is it a hardware problem?

I've never seen this on a Mac before, but when I wake this iMac, the screen momentarily flashes a grid of green, blue, and purple dots on a black background. Some are circular outlines, some filled-in dots. Wish I could describe it better, but it only shows up for a moment! Anyone seen this before?

That sounds like an issue with the sunglasses and possible polarization...there is nothing that you can do to offset that on the iPhone itself.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Wallpaper is flashing when exiting apps to Home Screen

My Wallpaper will go flashing whenever I exiting apps to go to Home Screen. Just thought the bug comes from enabling WiFi, but after disable wallpaper, the symptom still exist.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
What type of wallpaper are you using? Is it a preloaded/live wallpaper? Is the wallpaper flashing several tiems? If not, I think the reason why it flashes is because some apps are using another resolution than the home screen. And when you exit an app, the home screen need to restore the right resolution.
You might seen the same thing happen on a PC when you tab out from a game or similar.

Zen 4GB... Flashing white screen when powered o

I was wondering if anyone has encountered this problem.
My new Zen... since the day I received it, flashes a white screen when it is just sitting there on my desk. It turns on then off real quick randomly... I notice it because I keep it at my computer desk... it happens at random, I actually see it happen maybe to 4 times a day. It does it on 4 different firmwares including the newest firmware. I was hoping the next one may fix it but it does seem more logical that this is a hardware issue. It works perfectly whiled turned on... but it seems possessed by turning on by itself and I am thinking of returning it before it turns into a bigger problem. I'm assuming bad wiring... maybe just with mine...

With the stock firmware, the .03, I have only problem, the hold-mode.
If I turn hold-mode on, the display shuts down, quite normal.
If I turn hold-mode off, the display shows only a white screen, nothing else,
music keeps running and I can push keys, but i can't see anything ...

Subvi flashing on screen when called

I have a subVI flashing up on my screen when called even though I have
all options unchecked on the subVI properties box (from the calling
VI). I have a sneaking suspicion it is something obvious. Any ideas?

Have you checked the show "Front Panel When Called" and "Close Front Panel
When Loaded" check boxes.

Why does Installer stay stuck on password enter screen when installing apps?

When installing apps through Installer (from .dmg disk images and .pkg packages), everything works smoothly until it asks me for a password. When I enter it, Installer goes back to the screen before it asked me for the password. When I click next, it asks me for my password, and the cycle repeats. I tried removing my password to no avail. I can install .pkg files from the sudo installer -pkg command. I dont know how to do this for installers that are in app form.

Same issue when trying to unlock locked preference panes in System Settings. Here is the log.

Blue pixels appear on screen when warm...

Am looking at buying a used 12" 867Mhz G4 Powerbook. The seller states that "there is only one issue with the laptop, when it gets warm blue pixels appear in certain areas of the screen."
Does anyone have any ideas on this... quick fix? or is the screen getting ready to die?

Blue Pixels appearing? hmmm, not good---take a look and see how many and if it is distracting -- there are pixel pix programs you can try and use, however, LCD screens are know for a dead pixel here and there. Whats weird is that the pixels are blue? Usually when a pixel dies, its colorless. If you are getting a great deal on the PB (as in real cheap) and the lixel issue isnt to bad -- then take a shot at it. You always get what you pay for.

Flashing black screen when pasting?

I have a student that when she pasted some image (jpg) and text elements from from one indesign cs4 document to another the indesign window would flash black then part of what she was pasting would appear. Then it would flash black again and the rest would appear. It happened several times in a 50 min class period. Any idea what could be happening?

Yeah all the computers are imaged the same at the beginning of the school year. I'll run some diagnostics over the weekend to see if I can better pinpoint the issue if its not InDesign specific.

Why do pdf's flash on screen when opened, then suddenly disappear?

I'm running Windows 7 on a Toshiba laptop and when I open a pdf, it pops onscreen, but then immediately pops off and is gone.
What can I do to fix that?

Thanks you so much for trying to help. Actually, I uninstalled Adobe 11 and went back and installed
Adobe 10. It took a few tries. But then, the licensing agreement popped on screen and I accepted.
Now my pdf’s aren’t disappearing anymore, but there’s still a hesitation after they come up.
The pdf just sits there locked for a few seconds before I can scroll down or affect it in any other way.
I guess I’ll just have to live with that. At least until I can find a way to fix that too.
I’m just THANKFUL I can open pdfs again. I really need it for my work.

Computer restarts when exiting app

Hi,
I have a strange problem. I have a Java application that sometimes restarts my computer when I close it, most of the time. It has a frame with menu bar and an exit command on the menu which does something that eventually gets to "System.exit(0);" , and it happens when clicking the X in the top right corner as well. I have default action set to exit the program. Very confused by this. The OS is winXP and I'm running Java 1.4.1. Thanks for any help.

Windows move off screen when new app is opened

I have a user running 10.8.5. The user opens an application like Firefox or Safari. As soon as they open another application like Microsoft Word the browser or other application will shift off the screen. The finder is allowing only one window to show up on the screen at one time. I reset all keyboard shortcuts. Checked Mission Control, Launcher and couldn't find anything that would make this happen. They only have one display connected. I removed all the Office plist files and launched as a first time launch. I still can't find what is making the windows disappear or move off screen.
I logged on as a different user and the problem went away. So it has to be something in their profile that is causing this. Any ideas?

In OS X 10.6 and prior, Expose' and Spaces had a separate System Preference setting, along with hot corners. One of the options was to force apps to open in a new space.
That changed to become Mission Control with OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. I haven't really used the feature in 10.8. I can't quickly find a useful Apple link, so I'll provide this 3rd-party 'Dummies book' link which might help you sort things out. Mouse and trackpad preferences also can be set to enable gestures that work in conjunction with Mission Control.

I'm not sure if you mean WPF application since I haven't saw anything related to WPF. A UI develop can related to so many UI technologies, for example, WPF, WinForm...
Anyway, if you mean WPF application, you need to know how WPF can add controls at runtime.
For example, if you have a Grid and want to add textbox, see here:
