Random disturbing images being sent to by stranger...

On the 3rd of June Tuesday 2014 i got a message from a profile and a request to add to contacts list. The message they sent me was "I'm not too into exchanging pictures .. I'd much rather see each other, u can see the real thing on my webcam... u want to?" It is disturbing and i have no idea why they sent me this or why they even tried to contact me since i do not know who they are or why they tried to add me. Can anyone explain this please? How can skype improve security to stop these kind of people who send distrubing messages and contacts for no reason.

This needs resolution...period!
Random requests with nude (almost) profile pictures  are unacceptable, especially with kids hanging around the application.
SKYPE! WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!

  • When I insert a screen shot or image into the body of an email (not an attachment), why does it not show up after being sent? It works fine in other browsers.

The image will show up in the message when I am preparing it to send, but after being sent either it doesn't show at all or it comes through as a mess of characters.

    try reinstalling iTunes.

  • Images not being sent with forwarded emails

    Hi,
When I forward an email sent to me that has attached images, those images are not being sent when I forward the email.
Yes, I am being asked to "Include" the attachments, and I click the Include button.
I see the images in my message to be forwarded just before I send it, but the recipient does not get the images.
    Any assistance would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Forwarding Mail fails to include pictures

Recently I've had a problem with my iPhone 3Gs when I forward an email that contains graphics. The graphic is fine on my iPhone but when it arrives the picture is missing. I am selecting 'include graphics'.
    I've re-booted - no change.
I've restored from a backup - no change.
I've restored without using the backup - no change (other than I lost a couple email accounts etc.)
    Anybody got any other suggestions?
    TIA

I have been having the same issue since late September and been in touch with Apple support since. First they said they had no other reports on it so it was my phone. I started checking and found many other with the same issue. I called back and finally in November I was told they were aware of the issue and was working on it. The first week of January I called again and was told the update first week of February was going to correct this. I did the new software update and guest what....IT STILL DOESN'T WORK!!! It is now February 14th and I am on the phone once again for the same issue that was known back in October 2009. I am paying $30 for data plan that I can not utilize 100%. My question after being patient for 5 months is who is going to refund me a portion of my data plan? Apple or AT&T?? This is a software problem that really needs addressed. Apple just releases an iPAD and can't correct this email issue??

  • Unusual 550 5.7.1 Command Not Allowed being sent from Exchange 2010

    Greetings,
I have an Exchange 2010 server that seems to be rejecting some emails from external domains with 550 5.7.1 Command Not Allowed. I've taken a look at the SMTP Receive logs (below) and can't seem to find any reason why the emails are getting rejected. The sequence
immediately prior to the 550 being sent is highlighted in bold.

I have another entry in my logs fro the same sender coming from the same IP which yields the same results. Strangely enough, there are other entries from the same sender coming from different IPs which are delivered just fine.
The sender has stated that they only get the rejects when replying to emails from my domain, not when he sends fresh emails.
Why would Exchange send the 550 5.7.1 in response to a DATA command when it responds with 354 Start mail input; end with <CRLF>.<CRLF> to other DATA commands from a different server?
Bit of an odd problem, any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    B. Colt

Thanks for the input Mr. Crowley. I've dumped the Receive Connector configurations, everything seems to be at default values except for logging (I set it to verbose).

I really don't want to turn off the tarpitting and expose myself to tons of spam, although I do have anti-spam filters running.
    Any thoughts?

  • Random email not being received

Have been running into a strange issue with my iCloud email address the past week or so.  Some email that is being sent to me is not arriving.  Here is what I've been looking at.
Missing email is not being filtered to another folder.
Missing email is not in my junk mail folder
A single sender can deliver many emails, only some of which arrive.  Have tried this with several other non-iCloud email addresses which I own and verified that not all email is being received.
Senders of the email which never arrive do not receive any automated delivery failure noticies.
the account still has a me.com address - but it has been migrated to iCloud.
Really ***** because I've only just completed a migration away from gmail.  If I can't rely on iCloud to receive email I'm going to have to go through the hassle of getting another address and notifying everyone.
    Anyone have any thoughts?

I have exactly the same problem, and (for me at least) it is server-side. Sean, a senior adviser for iCloud support, has been looking into it since 8th May but no luck so far. Some emails come through but others don't: of the 19 emails sent from [email protected] to discuss the issue, for instance, only 4 have come through to my mac.com iCloud account. The remainder have only gone to my backup account. I think this might be the same problem this user is having:
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/18288701#18288701
but I've not had a response to my response to him/her. Would you mind if I passed this thread on to the person looking at the problem for me please? I've relied on my account for years, and I'm REALLY reluctant to abandon it now. Perhaps if this is affecting other accounts it can be fixed by finding out what they have in common.
    All best wishes
    Alex

  • Automatic Emails Being Sent Through My Account

I have current antivirus software on the computers that I use to access my email, and I don't think I have a virus.  I do also access my email from my iPhone.
I would very appreciate any thoughts on why this is happening and how to stop it.
    Thanks,
    Christy

This happened to me four month ago. Change your password and the spamming will stop. Your password was probably figured out by robo-software. Make it harder to crack.

  • Message being Sent in Outbound Staus ccBPM

    hello everybody,
    i'm working with PI 7.1.
I designed a ccBPM that send data from DB to sap by RFC and update status in DB.
Everything worked good but last week we made a change harware and migrated all interfaces.
We have a problem with this interface because in cannot see update in DB (so the last step of ccBPM).
I don't find any error in xml monitorning, adapter monitor, SMQ1 , SMQ2, sm58. Everything work fine.
The one one strange thing that i can notify is that:
in xml monitor we have a row where the OUTBOUND STATUS is not with succes flag but have the status MESSAGE BEING SENT (the clock logo).
    any suggestion?
    thanks in advance
    Alex

    Hello,
You could check in trx SWF_XI_CUSTOMIZING if there are green ticks for the background jobs.

Imessages are sent to other iphone owners.  Text messages are sent to non-iphone owners.

  • Summary Alert Issues - Summary Alert Being Sent Out as Multiple Emails

I'm sure many of you have seen the various posts online about Summary Alerts that are supposed to show changes over the last 24hrs in a single email being sent out as either multiple emails containing a random number of items per email, or individual emails
for each item that was updated. The question I have is... Has this issue been resolved with SP2 or any of the Post-SP CUs?
One of my users mentioned that the August 2014 CU was supposed to have a fix for this issue, but I am unable to find any documentation specifically mentioning alert handling or the Summary Alert issue mentioned above.
Current Environment is SP1 + Aug 2013 CU (We're a tad behind -- but I'm working on that)
    Any information would be helpful.
    Thank you!
    MH

    Hi,
I suggest you to delete the existing Rule and setup a New Rule.
I have tested this on my lab and it works fine.
You might want to refer to the below article on Setting up Alert Notifications
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/dn306638.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396
    Hope this helps !

  • LR4 export creates random blank images

Hi I'm experiencing a strange situation where I export a selection of photos, perhaps 150 of them, and will see random blank images with valid photo metadata but a blank (white) image.  In this case 3 of 150 photos are "real" but export as blank.  I can export the exact same selection of images using a slightly different export setting and the images are present (a different watermark PNG).  What is wrong with LR 4 export ?

    Hi
    Please check the following :
--Export to .PDF and check if you are getting a correct page format.  If you are getting then check word page header and page footer settings.
--Also check the default printer and page setup.
--Use no printer option in CR page setup and try to export to word.  Also check RTF format.
--Also try to check this is happening only in your system and any other system.
    Thanks,
    Sastry

  • Why is my iMessage being sent as a text message?

A couple of days ago I installed iOS 5 on my iPhone 4. Now, for my contacts who also own iPhones, iMessages seem to be activated. When I send a message, the bubble is blue, indicating an iMessage.
But then, a few minutes later, these messages are turning green, and underneath them is a line saying "sent as Text message".
Is this a bug? Why's this happening? At the moment, iMessage seems to be useless, at least for me. (I'm in Canada, working on a Bell contract. Does that factor in?)

    I'm having this problem also.
Both my wife and I have an iPhone 4 running iOS5, we were texting using iMessage, and it was working but then for some strange reason, the last 3 or so messages we sent got sent as text, but it didn't show them being sent as a text, until you left iMessage, and returned to it.
The problem was, I had sent 2 pictures through iMessage, they got sent as MMS, and I got charged for them.
Apple need to split iMessage from sms, instead of rolling them in the same app, that way you know your in iMessage, and you know when your in sms.
Why apple have decided to leave them in the same app is a mystery.
    Sort it out Apple.

  • There are unauthorised emails being sent from my emails accounts. This started recently following my iOS update to 5.0.1. Is this an iCloud hacking issue?

There appears to be emails being sent out to random contacts from my shared address book with dubious content none of which were sent by me. I believe this was sent by unauthorised hacker from iCloud as the contacts are not even in my personal contact list, but came from my wife's contact list which have been shared via iCloud. Is there security breach issue with iCloud?

I have the same situation (there seems to be lots of emails sent through my Icloud account. I don't see those emails in my "sent" folder, but I can see plenty of email (Chinese spam emails) bounced back into my account stating that I have exceded the sending limits. I cannot send anything either from my account (of course, the sending limit is alwasy exceeded). I have also changed twice my password, but the issue remains.
    Any clues?
I am really surprised at this. I was from the begining with .Mac, and never had any issue during all these years. This is now with Icloud, which should be safer and better  :-(

  • Wrong data being sent thru XI

    Hi All
I have a strange problem. This is the scenario:
Employee related changes are to be sent to payroll every night. We have a report which fetches all the changes in employee data on that pirticular day. It would call the proxy and send all the data thru XI.
By debugging the report, i came to know that the report is fetching the correct data and sending that data by calling the proxy. But, when the scheduled job runs every night which runs this report, wrong data is being sent across. Completely different data is being sent during the job execution. What might be the problem?
The report when run manually, is fetching right data and sending it. But, when it is run as a scheduled job, wrong data is being sent. I checked the job details, and everything seems to be fine. What all can i check?
    Many Thanks
    Chandra Sekhar

    > Variants seems to be fine. I checked them again.
    > Completely different employee data is being sent thru XI.
    > If there is any change in the XI message structure, or anywhere, data should not be sent when i am running the report manually. Am i right??
    Yes, you are right.
    > Correct data is being sent when i am running the report manually. But then, when the scheduled job runs in the night, i see completely different data being sent. This is strange to me.
Can you run your job as execute immediately with a break point in your report & check if you are getting the same data.
Chek the report name once again. I know you must have already checked the report name user name etc.. in your job.
