I try to shut down, when the ''are you sure'' message pops, it automatically quickly clicks cancel.
I cant shut down my friggin mac or leave my msn, it keeps saying ''do you want to send a message to ___online (randomly) then it sais yes and opens up new safaris.
Help!

This looks like exactly what I am seeing.  I would bet you are using 2.6.28 kernel with Nvidia drivers, right?

  • Original iPhone randomly enters restore mode on 2.2

    Hello All,
    I have an original iPhone running on the 2.2 firmware which will randomly enter into restore mode. I have iTunes 8.0.2.20, the iPhone is an 8GB model. I have tried both restoring my data from a backup and setting up the phone as a new phone, either way it seems to drop back into restore mode. The timing of this seems to be random. Sometimes the phone lasts for a few days and others a few hours before it drops into restore mode. I have the sync cable plugged directly into a USB port on the motherboard, not one of the expansion ports on the case.
    Any info or thoughts would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

  • HT201412 iPhone 5 with iOS 7.1 randomly enters recovery mode

    Since two weeks ago my phone started behaving badly just before the new update was released.
    While locked it happens that it enters recovery mode (iTunes says that, while another software I downloaed to try to force it out says it is on "soft DFU mode") and won't exit it for hours: indeed after a bunch of time I'm able to turn it back to functioning by pressing the Home Button and the Power Button in random sequences (when I mean random, I mean random: it doesn't just wake up following either the 'exit recovery mode' or 'exit dfu mode').
    I restored it, yet the same still happens. It is now, basically, an unpredictable piece of junk metal.
    Any ideas?
    Notes: it is not jailbroken nor it has ever been, the software is up to date.

    Try restoring as a NEW device (not from a backup) to see if it works properly.

  • Macbook Pro Randomly Enters Sleep Mode For A Few Seconds

    Hi All,
    My Macbook Pro has had this problem since a few months after I purchased it. While working or playing the laptop will randomly go into what seems like sleep mode. The screen turns off, I hear the hard drive stop and then a couple seconds later it starts back up on its own. Any Internet connection I had disconnects, but other than that it starts up as normal.
    The problem comes and goes and doesn't seem to be consistent with anything that I'm aware of. Sometimes it happens once, then doesn't happen for days. Often it will happen several times in a row over the course of an hour.
    I've called support and brought the laptop to the genius bar where they ran several tests, but were unable to figure anything out. Research online has shown similar issues with other users, but no solutions. The laptop is not stacked on anything magnetic, the issue occurs when running hot or cold and whether I'm on battery power or plugged in.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated. If this can't be resolved is it something I can bring to apple and get a replacement under my year warranty?

  • Random Entering Bios Freezing ?

    Hi lately I been have having random freezing as I try to inter bios it will stay froze on the system info screen and will not inter bios it will take a few resets to get in and at times it will give me a Warning of Bad OC and reset everything to stock i have stress tested and pass a 1hr test could it be that i need more CPU-V or do i have something else happening ? Thanks

    why you say go back to stock?
    He told you to revert to stock/non-oc settings to find out if your problem is OC related or not.  In the former case, your OC settings are perhaps not stable.  In the latter case, the cause must be elsewhere (some other BIOS Setting (improper memory settings), a temperature problem, a PSU problem or something else is broken,

  • IPhone 3GS randomly entered recovery mode?

    Today I was at the beach taking pictures, and all of the sudden I looked down to find my iPhone giving me the plug into iTunes symbol. I have no idea how it got into recovery mode. I tried rebooting the phone by holding down the lock and home button but that didn't take it out of it. When plugged into iTunes I get the must restore message. Any ideas how I can get it out of recovery mode without restoring, I don't want to loose all of my photos, etc. (my last iPhone backup was months ago...). Is it safe to use any of the software like TinyUmbrella or RecBoot?
    Another thing to add is that when I plug my iPhone into my MBP without having iTunes open I get the battery symbol with the charge icon likes its working normal.
    P.S: iPhone info: 3GS running iOS 4.1 (not jailbroken or unlocked, also I haven't ever attempted to do either)
    Thanks,
    -Luke

    Just tried TinyUmbrella and Recboot, neither worked. Also tried using the "Fix Recovery" in TinyUmbrella while in DFU mode and that didn't work either. I would just restore it, but my last backup was from last year (yea I know I should do it every time I update, but it takes hours and I never have time to wait...). Anyway I'm going to get out of this one? I really don't want to loose all of my photos, etc.!
    Help greatly appreciated

  • 3GS Enters Recovery Mode randomly!

    3GS bought when new, is now randomly entering Recovery Mode. Seems like it does it more often than not when I am out of town and away from my computer.
    It has been doing this since 4.0 release. It is now starting to do it more frequently.
    Any idea's would be helpful as I am about 2+ hours away from a Apple Store.

    It has enterered Recovery Mode again, this time I cannot get it out. I was running iOS 5 B7, so I tried restoring to that, I get the message "the iphone iphone could not be restored. this device isn't eligible for the requested build".
    So ok, not a biggy I will just go back to 4.3.5, nope. I get error 1015. Now I put the phone into DFU mode(black screen only) and try both ways. Nothing, it gets to installing my new firmware and either itunes crashes when it gets close to finishing or the same errors pop back up.
    So now I downloaded a few different softwares, TinyUmbrella, and Recboot, those do not work either.
    Any ideas?

  • Generating a random include file

    I'm trying to generate a random "include" file in an HTML web page. I have a group of 20 files, each with one sentence, and I'd like to randomly call one of those files into my web page, using a statement like
    <!--include virtual = "includes/file1.inc" -->
    Is there a way to use Javascript to generate that line of code, but make the number just before ".inc" be randomly entered?
    Thanks in advance.
    Bob

    Well, dynamically formed file name for include is not possible in javasript. Includes are processed before any javascript runs on the page.
    But
    You can do this if you keep the lines in the HTML file:
    <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
    lines = new Array;
    lines[1] = "Well, some things in Javascript are not cool";
    lines[2] = "Sometimes Javascript is cool";
    lines[3] = "Ok, I am getting tired of typing now";
    lines[4] = "But then again, who is worried";
    lines[5] = "A random line can be shown";
    var total = 5;
    var randomNumber = Math.random();
    var idx = Math.round( (total-1) * randomNumber) + 1;
    document.write(lines[idx]);
    </SCRIPT>

  • Bank Reconciliation Statement

    Hi Friends,
    I require some information on BRS. I've not done that until now and I'm supposed to give an end user training on the same.
    My issue is I need the steps that I need to teach the end users, like:
    if I go to FF67, we have an option called Statement number, when I'm randomly entering a number like 1, it is not accepting and says opening and closing balances not found for the statement number.
    I'm highly confused to go further.
    I'd appreciate if someone would give me some info on ,like what are the prerequisites before i could go ahead and use FF67. what is import data using ff_5
    Regards
    Sandhya

    Hi,
    in FF67 transaction code you have to put all the required fields. for opening balance you have to give the pervious month's closing balance as opening balance for this month.if you are going for BRS for the month novenber then you have to put the closing balance of october as aopening balance of november.
    As you going for the first time give sap balance as it was suggested in the above paragraph and put the closing balance November (as per the bank statement)..........after doing of  couple bank statement reconciliation you can see the bank balance(as per bank statement) will mathch to the main account balance(sap system),,,,,,,,,,then it will be easy to take opening balance from Overview Tab (new statement).
    after this you have press enter to go the next page you have to plot the individual figures in combination with transaction key have been customized  for incoming , outgoing, bank charges etc.
    remember that at the below of the second page will be Dr = Cr after the plotting the transactions(as per bank statement) for the month which you are doing BRS ............then press cntrl+s (twice Ecc5.0& ecc6.0 version)
    If the posting is successful, the Brs items will remain the sub accounts (incoming and outgoing) and These sub accounts show those entries,which will flow from the sub account which are not cleared
    in the bank statement .
    Bank Main account balance is the actual balance as per the bank statement whereas the Bank sub accounts denote the reconciliation items.
    with Regards,

  • Organise all day events - iCal

    I woud be so much happier if I was able to use the appearance or All Day Events in iCal but with the time event also.  I prefer the All Day Event block colours, don't like the little round dot colour at all!!  I need to print the monthly calncar off for a team of carers to view and they would like to see 'their colour' in order of time of shift!  They are so randomly entered into the calander and I am unable to move them around, so a carer working from 7am-9am, colour green, is actually showing as the last shift on the day.  This is most unsuitable.  I have tried entering each one in order, but that too is not working - can anyone help?  Thanks. SM

    I really thought someone would be able to help me with this one - I am surprised!  I'd wondered if perhaps I should go with the different coloured dots and tabs with the events being timed so that at least they appear on the monthly view in order - but am now condsidering if I can change the text colour to match the calendar colour - any ideas?

  • I'm unable to get my iPhone out of recovery mode?

    My iPhone was on charge earlier this evening, and when disconnecting it to use it again I noticed it had entered recovery mode randomly (I'm still not sure why this happened in the first place) I know usually this isnt a very big problem and you can simply connect it to iTunes and restore it, which I attempted to do, however when doing this my iPhone displayed a black screen with a blinking apple sign and iTunes wouldn't recognise my iPhone. I held the home button down, and iTunes then recognised my iPhone, however when I hit restore, an error sign comes up saying my iPhone cannot be restored - so I am unable to restore my iPhone through iTunes.
    I cannot restore my iPhone by holding down the home and power button as my power button jammed just over a month ago randomly (literally woke up one morning and was unable to use it at all) so my iPhone is now stuck in recovery mode and I can't get it out.
    I'm going to visit apple tomorrow to see if they can help. I'm still covered by warranty as I've only had my phone just over 11 months. Do you think it's likely they'd be able to restore is via iTunes in store? and if not do you think I'd be able to get a replacement because of this issue and because of my broken power button? Incredibly worried, as I don't know why my phone has even randomly entered recovery mode or why my power button jammed in the first place and I really don't want to end up paying £120 for a new handset when I don't feel any of this was really my fault.

    I am having the exact issue as yours, but, I fixed this issue myself and I would like to help many of those suffering from this issue to not be treated by Apple -- when I woke up in the morning I found my iPhone 4 was in "Upgrade to iOS6" mode on the moring that I planed to travel -- my alarm is still alarming me to wake up but the phone could not be used anymore, so fortunately I have backup phone to switch the sim-card to. When I am back home I went to a local "Short Hills" apple store Genius Bar and the staff told me that it could not be fixed, the only way to resolve this was to pay $150 for "Replacement" for a refurbished iPhone - I didn't believe him! My home PC/iTunes can detecte my phone, but the Genius Bar staff said it can't be deteted. I tried many different ways and finally I came up the followings which fixed by iPHone: 1) if you need to backup your stuff within the iPHone, you can use iTools from your PC; 2) Install the latest iTunes; 3) Try to recovery your iphone with iTunes several times and to see if it could be fortunately restored, Pay attention to the error messages, I got (-1) and (3194) which are ok, if they all are not working, then perform the last: 4) download the latest firmware for your version of your phone, such as iphone 4,5, GSM, CDMA, etc and save it into your PC; 5) perform a recovery mode from iTunes, but this time, you are pressing down the "Shift" key while you are clicking the "Recovery iPhone" from your iTunes, it will pop up a window to ask you to upload the firmware, you then select that downloaded firmware and it should fixed you problem and your iPhone will be just like brand new from Apple manufacture! Good luck! -- I have several negative experience with Genius Bar -- they are using refurbished phone with much older screen life LCD to replace my warrenty new phone -- this is apple the policy which are being complaied worldwide!!!! If I had choice, I would not have been using iPhone!

  • How can I select which page to display based upon a log-in?

    I have created a page where the user will enter one of several codes.  I wanted to use the login function and validate the code against a table that I have pre-loaded with these codes.  The code entered would control which page was displayed to the user.
    (I have identified a community of potential clients, and this group is broken down into 10 unique sub-groups.  Each person receives a mail that includes one of 10 unique 'codes', which identify the sub-group.  When the recipient calls up my website and enters the code (as a user ID), this will determine which of the 10 pages is displayed.  If someone randomly enters (or mis-keys) a value into the promo field a default error page (page #11) would display.)
    Is this possible using the log-in function.  Now that I'm looking at the function, it appears that any successful log-in will be directed to the same page.  If I can't use the log-in function, how can I accomplish this.  In essence, I am looking for the successful codes to act as an "if . . .then . . .else . . " type of logic.  Or, a successful hit on one of records in my table is akin to making a menu selection (that is not available in any other fashion).
    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
    BTW - kudos to David Powers and Charles Nadeau for the great tutorial on Setting up a PHP development environment for Dreamweaver!

    Thanks so much for the reply. I chose to go with the array and added the following code (my code is in red) :
       if (isset($_SESSION['PrevUrl']) && false) {

  • CSI: update_item_instance issues while creating extended attributes

    Hello,
    For our customer's data conversion, installed base instances have already been created, there is only need to create extended attributes.
    Issues I have encountered are:
    - Whenever an error is encountered in the API call, all following records are rejected with the same error (even the same instance ID/primary key/attribute ID) as the first error record.
    - Extended attributes are randomly entered in the wrong fields (as if one field had gone missing and the others had been updated)
    - Date formats have been changed from DD/MM/YYYY to DD-MON-YYYY when consulting from Installed Base (but this happened only once)
    Other information: There are 14 extended attributes to be added for each item instance, I removed some of the attributes to make the code more readable.
    I followed the metalink note that shows the implementation method for this API and only added the recursive elements that we needed for the 14 attributes + functions to retrieve item_id and such.
    The "message()" function replaces is defined as FND_FILE.PUT_LINE(which =>fnd_file.log,buff => p_msg);

    The issue seems to because this:
    x_instance_rec.inventory_item_id := ib_rec3.inventory_item_id;
    You are selecting the item id from your staging table. But the serial number in the csi_item_instances is associated with the instance is a different item id than ib_rec3.inventory_item_id. Hence this error. You cannot change the item in the IB once the instance is created.
    You have two choices: comment this out or change the inventory_item_id in staging table to match with the csi_item_instances.
    Also a lot depends on what is your serial number uniqueness. If you are using the same serial number for two different items (uniqueness with item_Id) you need to be careful which one you are picking (based on serial number).
    Thanks
